Great environment for classes and PT 1-2-1s, the PTs at Onyx are knowledgeable and really help in all aspects of training, pushing your limits, testing your strength, helping with any issues. Friendly atmosphere and excellent set up.

Onyx is a boutique gym with trainers who really know their stuff. The classes are fun, inclusive and cater to all levels whether you’re a beginner or advanced. The team have created something really special with a great atmosphere that makes it a great place to train.

Been to a few sessions and can already tell you won't find a gym like this anywhere else in London, let alone North London... Definitely worth checking out if you're tired of the standard, stale, soulless gym atmosphere currently plaguing the city.

Onyx is the best gym I've been to by far. I used to always avoid classes in gyms, but Onyx classes are fun, personal and progressive. It feels like a group PT session, which is the opposite to most gym classes out there. I love going here as the coaches are all really nice people and really experienced trainers.

AMAZING GYM!!! Onyx has great facilities and high quality equipment. Classes are always challenging in a good way which keeps you motivated! They focus on ALL the different muscle groups, movement and mobility; always ensuring that we are all using the right technique. All the trainers are very supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable. The aftercare from all the team is amazing. Atmosphere is comfortable for people of any age, shape, and fitness level. It makes me WANT to go to the gym. The best private gym I have ever trained in. I definitely recommend this gym.

The first impact was a very positive one ..... cleaned and organised place....nice structure and equipment...professional staff!

Onyx is an absolute gem. Fantastic (and brand new!) equipment with highly professional trainers who really challenge you to push yourself physically and mentally. What I like most about is that the trainers make rigorous exercise fun, I made friends with fellow members and trainers instantly. Great community feel and fantastic range of classes. Can't recommend it enough.

I have been training at various gyms for the past 20 years. Onyx Fitness, Finchley is in my opinion one of the best. The staff are very professional and welcoming. All training sessions are totally different targeting various parts of the body and extremely testing ones fitness level. You have to try Onyx to believe how good it. Highly recommend at least a visit to see how truly good it is.

My training has improved significantly since onyx. Its challenging, fun, intense, and safe given Im someone who has had extensive injuries in the past. Would say Its a good place both for beginners and people who like to be challenged. Trainers are experienced, professional, and all round lovely humans.

I have been training with Vik for over a year now and have to say he is the best trainer I have ever had. His knowledge and enthusiasm is inspiring. I have had great results so far and am still really enjoying our sessions and achieving goals that I wouldn’t be able to without his help.

Dropped in during the open weekend. Was warmly welcomed at reception by one of the coaches and put through my paces during a conditioning class. All the coaches were very attentive and ensured I knew what I was doing. I will be back and recommend the gym to all looking for a good workout.

By far it’s the best boxing class I’ve done. The participant to instructor ratio is amazing (especially when you compare to places like BLOK or AnotherSpace) and the focus is on actually boxing and technique comes at the same time, rather than classes that spend AGES on technique and no boxing. The coaches are really friendly too.

This is a new, really well thought out top training zone. The classes are varied and cater for all levels . They are good times of the day too and easy to book on-line. If you want one to one sessions, these are also available from positive and competent trainers.
The trainers are very knowledgable and work to your ability yet at the same time push you gently through your comfort zone. It’s a great atmosphere to train in a friendly yet focused environment.
This is more than a gym. It is a place to achieve your fitness goals with like minded people in a supportive atmosphere . I have my own PT sessions here which are extremely efficient in enabling me to achieve my goals as a busy mother of three and my teenage son also attends who is training to become a pro athlete . It caters for both. You can be pushed to your max and break through barriers with focused one to one programmes and performance training or simply try new moves you thought your body could never do!
The feeling is overall well being and results , with excellent nutritional advise aswell as check ins in the week between sessions.
Highly recommend it here if you want a more personal and unique approach to your training.

Really nice gym with a group very experienced coaches, each with their own specialisms. I attented the Movement and Mobility class in the opening week and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to trying out the Functional Strength class next!

Exercise has never been more fun or more appealing, and it’s all thanks to coaches who are at the top of their game and well-planned classes. The addition of heart rate monitors and a projector allow u to track how hard you're working and push yourself that extra mile during sessions.
