Great gym, just off the main road, and round the corner from Holborn station. I came here today just checking it out as my membership allows me to use any gym. Place is very well kept and clean all over. I expected it to be busy because of the location, but it wasn’t. There were people there, but not too busy to make me wait for equipment. They have loads of cleaning stations located around the gym.People there very friendly too. I will definitely visit again!

Great Circuit classes with Laura. I love going to Legs, Bums & Tums classes as well with Eugene which are very challenging and amazing!! The coach is always pushing you to achieve your best. Highly recommended.

Nice gym, quite cramped during busy times. For this reason I come at midnight... Problem now is that the cleaners lock the toilets upstairs and they don't want you going in the changing room toilets when they're cleaning. This needs to stop! They said they lock the toilets because people leave it messy. Something needs to be done regarding this please guys.

Good gym! Great range of equipment, friendly staff who acknowledge you and say hello.... and cleaning equipment is accessible no matter where you are. Great place to train if you work around the area!

It's a good gym not always alot of people then again I train làte at night. It's clean to a point but my issue is for those of us that train and then want to shower the showers are not even available from midnight until about 5am. To those of us that work and don't want to go all the way home this is is unfair. I have been to 2 other establishments and between this one, Finsbury park and Whitechapel I gave up going to this one after about 3 trips due to exactly that. The others have the showers or accessibility toilets open round the clock this one however no.

Good facilities and not often very busy. Occasionally the place can feel a bit cramped but is open 24/7 so this isn’t a problem very regularly!

Almost all types of machine available. 24/7 open so don't worry about timings. And location is also good. Washrooms and changing rooms are not clean properly.

Visiting London for 4 days and been going here every morning about 5am. Not a bad little gym. Quiet at this time managed to do do everything needed no problem

The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's pretty crampt at peak hours, although that's not necessarily the gyms fault. Unfortunately it's often hard to find the weights I want as many of the customers don't put them away. I would recommend better ventilation in the gym and changing rooms to make it more comfortable and stop customers feeling so lightheaded during their workouts.

This is a PureGym so you’re not going to get a five star gym for the price that they charge. I’ve been training here 4-5x a week for over a year. Pros: lots of clean and modern equipment, staff are friendly, generally a nice environment to work out in. Cons: music is incredibly loud, there is only a tiny space for the whole gym to stretch and do core work in, the personal trainers take up a lot of room in the gym at peak times, it’s incredibly busy at peak times, and the men’s showers are constantly a mess (they always stink regardless of the time of day, I’ve never seen anybody cleaning them, and one cubicle has had a broken lock for what seems like a year). You get what you pay for, but for £35/m I would expect clean showers.

Good gym and relatively not too busy. Can get ultra busy during the lunch hour rush. Loose a star regarding price. £35 a month for a no frills gym is quite pricey compared to others though can just about accept that. As long as it doesn't get too busy I'll be a happy!

Good functional gym with lots of natural light. Good focus on both cardio machines and weights (machines and frees). Clientele tends to leave this place in a mess but that's every gym and of course Puregym instructs its staff to do the occasional sweep and reset. Good on them to do that service for others which is essentially just the same as picking up after children , so thank you.

I am a massive fan of Puregym, the amount there are everywhere and classes/equiptment they have in them. This gym is one of the smallest gyms for the price I have been in to date, which is shame as its very conveniently positioned. It is in central London but for the price/size it is a little on the high side. That said, staff were pleasant and workout done, although it is hard to get a class booked too.

Acceptable gym with the typical foray of equipment. Though possibly too many running machines. The layout is quite odd. Snaking around, due to the layout of the building. The changing rooms are located down stairs in he basement and are terribly ventilated! The air is offensive on entering though you get used to it. Never the less it does it’s job, been to better, been to worse.

If I reviewed the gym based on people who work there, it'd probably be a 4 or 5, as the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and helpful staff, to making sure you are comfortably with using the equipment. The rest, from the outdated broken equipment, to the leaking ceiling, the odd number of dumbbells, only being 4 of the most used dumbbells, only one rope to share on the cable machines. There is a leaking air conditioning unit, maybe once every 3 weeks. There is also the state of the changing rooms, there is always a smell of urine in the air, so not sure if that's because of men missing the urinals, or something else. They have a good sized pool for being in Central London, and a steam room which is useful, you just need to put towels under the door to stop all the heat dissipating. What I'd say is, if you can get a corporate discount, then it is worth it, but if they got a "secret shopper" style person in, then most of these could easily be fixed, as the gym is a good location and the staff are great.

Staff turnover high. Spin Classes booked up online but usually half full. I just turn up now. Shame specialist spin trainers no longer used.Some equipment not accessible when classes on Men's shower cubicle has broken catch for six months. However convenient. Good value if you have Wide membership.
