Manchester Outdoor Fitness is the best training I’ve ever done. Disciplined structured full body strength and conditioning training delivered by experienced ex military instructors who adapt sessions to meet the needs of the group. Great fun and a massive sense of community. We train as a team, never leaving anyone behind. Training Outdoors whatever the weather. No phones, no worrying about what you look like… instructors will capture the moments that matter and share with the community leaving us to get the best out of our sessions. Highly recommend to all fitness levels to anyone dedicated to improving physical and mental health. 💪

I have never stuck to any kind of exercise regime for as long as I've stuck to Manchester Outdoor Fitness (5 years and counting). The sessions are varied, there are different ability groups and the banter between members helps to get you through the harder parts of the session. Can't fault it (well maybe the reverse bear crawls 😄)!

Manchester Outdoor Fitness has helped me with my fitness goals. Graham O’Brien and the instructors who work with him are great motivators. They make the classes tough but fun and they are tailored to your level of fitness with beginners being blue and then progressing from Red to Green bibs. Your fellow members are also great as we all encourage one another and nobody is left feeling left behind. Believe it or not it’s also good to train outdoors even in the winter. You don’t feel the cold for long and even though you may not fancy it when you first turn up (let’s face many of us don’t at times) you will find yourself feeling fab and thanking your instructors at the end of the class

I cannot recommend MOF highly enough. You’d think training outside in all weather and throughout the year would be off putting but it’s great. You work hard but within your capabilities and there’s a real sense of satisfaction at the end of each session. There is great banter with everyone and I guarantee that no one will receive abuse of any kind - the members wouldn’t allow it and neither would the instructors. If you want to get fit and have fun at the same time give it a try - first session is always free

I have been a member for over 6 years now and it is a part of my life that I couldn’t imagine being without. The instructors are incredibly motivating and the sessions are never the same which keeps it fresh. There is a wide range of ages and abilities amongst the members - it really is for everyone. I cannot recommend it enough. Give it a try!

The instructors are friendly and motivating, the timetable of classes and parks across Manchester means there’s something for everyone, every day of the week. The classes are challenging and fun, the other members are welcoming and supportive. Try it!

Been a member for 18 years and gives good solid, brisk and effective outdoor exercise classes all year round. Graham and his team are dedicated ex military guys who push and encourage good form during the classes. Each session is slightly different and gives a variety of running, sprinting and different static exercise. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a MF member for several years and no two classes have ever been the same. What is consistent though is top class military experienced instructors who really know their stuff and craft classes to suit all abilities (tailored exercises / reps within the session - everyone trains together). You will get noticeably fitter doing this, and have fun in the process, it’s as simple as that.

I absolutely love Manchester Outdoor Fitness. I went to the gym for ages, and hated it, and as soon as I found this, exercise changed completely. Raining, shining, snow or whatever whether, I still leave with a massive sense of accomplishment and a sense of pride. Couldn't recommend enough!
