Really good range of facilities (classes, swimming, sauna, steam room etc). Helpful staff. The place is also much more newer than the aspley branch. Only 4 stars as the outdoor hot tub had lots of hairs in it and needed a good clean. Also, some classes allow more people in than the booking capacity and the sauna timing has gone missing 🤷‍♀️

Great facility with Raquet sports, gym and spa. On the expensive side but worth it. Gym is really well equipped with regular free reviews with Personal Trainers. The spa is great with an outdoor pool and a jacuzzi. Fantastic place to go in the summer or chill in the winter with a drink. Food and drinks are expensive and good quality.

Facilities are great - outside pool and outside jacuzzi were big draws - but the price point is just too high. If you enjoy racquet sports and want a large cafe as well then this gym might be for you.

I have been a member of this club since the year 2000. It is a great club with great facilities including 11 indoor tennis courts (when the bubble is up) all within the heart of West Bridgford. It has a great family feel and if you have young children then this place is a god send on those dark winter months. The staff are normally what makes a club and some special mentions here would be Todd (Racquets manger) Rob (Facilities manager) Theresa (our brilliant front of house) and Mark (General manager) … all are great with customers and create a super friendly club feel. The club has had its dark days when the club was managed by a guy called Ray that (in mine and many other members opinion) single handed ruined the atmosphere of the club, and provided the worst customer service I have experienced over the 22 years that I have been a member. Rightly so, the club eventually came to its senses and he eventually was moved on out of the club and the David Lloyd company. It’s a shame that one man had such a negative effect on my club. Anyway, the club is currently in the process of a refurb of the spa facilities so constantly improving. Hopefully the club will continue to improve and provide a great service for many years to come.

We joined earlier this year as a family primary for swimming and weights. It is a lovely gym with professional and helpful staff, excellent equipment and the beer on tap after the workout!!

A really nice club. The pool is a good 25m pool unlike many other David Lloyd's staff were very friendly and the food excellent. It was a shame the last coffee of the day took over half an hour, but they were busy

Probably one of the best DL clubs I have visited. The sauna is excellent with 3 tiers to get the perfect heat that you require. There are also saunas in the changing rooms and an outdoor spa.

Joined in an Active Away tennis group teaching doubles tactics day. Really good fun. They booked out four indoor carpet courts which seem in very good condition to me at this David Lloyd. Changing rooms nice and clean and the dining area serves healthy dishes as well as the usual coffees, cakes, snacks etc. Very nice friendly bunch of staff and light and airy. Gym looked good too. Great day out

A great facility spoilt by lack of attention to detail on maintenance ie. Poor lighting on the indoor tennis courts , bottom of the outdoor swimming pool always got debris in it etc.

I visited the physio at David Lloyd in West Bridgford. The staff at David Lloyd were incredibly friendly and we were even able to visit the café area afterwards even though we're not members. Lovely area and very helpful staff.

Great gym space, lots of knowledgeable staff there. Inside Swimming pool is a nice temperature and 25m long. Outside 20m I use the ‘adult business lounge’ for work where the internet speed is good and coffee is not bad either.

Went on a tour of the gym. Definitely not worth 128 a month. The gym seemed very busy with little space. On a positive note the staff seemed very friendly and the place was clean.

Absolutely big place. It is expense but if got the money it should be the one. Tons of tennis courts outdoors indoors. None of others sports facilities like table tennis and other racket games.very friendly staff!

I love this place. The facilities are excellent for sport including gym, swimming, tennis, classes, badminton, squash. The General Manager is really "on the ball" and I find the whole team of staff to be so very professional, friendly and helpful. Overall, it makes sport and maintaining fitness a real pleasure. The social side is enjoyable too particularly regarding the tennis. Hours of opening are excellent with the Club opening early in the morning and closing late in the evening every day.

Excellent family facilities, 2 good swimming pools, 4 saunas / steam rooms. Great food and large bar area. A five star rating is not given as the gym is small given the size of the overall facility and the bar area can at times be overrun with children.

It is a 5 star fitness venue. I've attended competitions here and trained on occasion and have hadn't reason to think otherwise. The gym is well laid out and has the usual set of equipment and cardio; all of it is of a high industry standard. The pool and outdoor jacuzzi bath add to the value but the real perks are the cafe, outdoor play area for the kids and superb racket sports facilities. Though expensive, and I hate to admit this - you get what you pay for here.

Love the club, the staff are always polite and helpful. The gym trainers are great and are always on hand to assist in achieving/exceeding your goals. The HIIT and GRIT classes are brilliant and the trainers are great at motivating and progressing you. Would recommend to anyone, however the price reflects the service offered.

very nice club. friendlier atmosphere than my local David Lloyd. like the female sauna in changing room but not enough hair dryers. Tennis facilities look on a par with Nottingham tennis centre and similar to Derby DL. Had run out of teapots and had to have a huge mug for Earl Grey tea.

David lloyd is a fantastic place to just come relax and just chill out. All staff members are lovely, i’ve noticed quite a few new friendly faces at the bar. One of the new girls(blonde hair) is absolutely lovely. It’s a great place to be whilst the sun is out, I think we’re all just waiting on the outdoor pool.
