I’ve been coming to Core Fitness since May of this year. Overall a really nice little gym, fairly basic in terms of equipment but does everything I need it to so can’t complain there. The only frustrating thing is that some of the other gym goers don’t seem able to put the equipment back once they’ve used it whether that be plates, dumbbells or bars which can be quiet frustrating. There is a yellow/red card system in place I believe but I’m not sure how strictly this is enforced if at all

Been training at Core since April this year, I originally joined to lose weight for my wedding, Id turn up and just jump on the treadmill and go home but It didnt take me long to get used to the place and learn how to us all the equipment, I now train here 6/7 times a week, am 10x stronger than I was 6 months ago and falling in love with my body again. Majority of the members are lovely had helpful while others keep to themselves which is fine, Being a female in the free weights room doesnt scare me in the slightest because everyone is there for their own reasons and no one makes me uncomfortable. The difference types of squats bars are also a big seller for me, I can go when i want as its 24/7 access and there isnt too many mirrors like some other gyms which is good for the days in feeling a bit flump 😄 Its not a fancy gym but it has everything I need, the owner says hello to everyone when he comes in too which is nice

Not flashy, not fancy, not modern and I love it. If you're a true gym rat and you're looking for a gym with all the essentials, a friendly atmosphere and 24/7 access @ a bargain price, this is the place.

Friendly independent local gym in Woodley with a great range of equipment and a number of different rooms if you want a bit of privacy. This is a 24-hour gym and is staffed at certain times during the week. The staff are friendly and deal with any queries quickly and professionally.

Best gym in the immediate area. There is something for everyone. Somewhat private cardio area, heavy expansive free weight section, a strength and conditioning room and multiple private stretching areas. There is also a boxing club associated with the gym for those looking to box. All this for a great price! To add, the staff and trainers there are all very knowledgeable and happy to help whenever asked. So if you're looking for a proper gym that is welcoming and full of equipment get yourself down to Core.

Been going to this gym for years and I will not change anytime soon! Great staff members who are always happy to help if you have a question. It has all the weights/ equipment you will ever need and the owners constantly improve the gym. Couldn't ask for anything more

Been a member here for longer than I can remember, it’s always had everything I’ve needed equipment wise , everyone’s friendly and never seen so much as a bad word said between people . The fact it’s 24 hours is fantastic aswell as I go a bit later than the busiest hours and can get done quicker . The staff and owner have always been courteous and always helpful if I’ve ever had a problem. I always recommend this gym to everyone I know.

This is an awesome gym staff are friendly the owner is a great bloke. Other gym users are friendly and there is more than enough equipment to go around and as for the boxing gym wow. All in all this gym is absolutely amazing

Great local gym with plenty of free weights and the space to use them. Especially good to have a gym happy to allow deadlifting. Good friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably price and free parking near by. Top marks.
