R. B.My son (3 years old) has been attending Balance and Beam for a few months after hearing positive reviews from friends whose children also attend. It is without doubt one of the best classes I’ve signed him up for.
Firstly, he loves the classes and has so much fun every week. There’s a theme and the activities are designed to incorporate it - they’re always fun and exciting. The classes are incredibly well structured to support progress in both physical skills and social skills. Perhaps the most important thing is that they have INCREDIBLE instructors who work very well to get the most out of the children.
This is a class where children have fun, learn new skills and have positive interactions every week. I’ve already signed my 6 month old up for the baby class! Worth every penny, a fantastic experience.

Great for birthday parties!
I used to book indoor playgrounds for it, but this is much better. You have the place just for yourself and staff does the amazing job to keep the kids playing. At the same time, you can watch everything from you chair with nothing to worry about. Highly recommended.
Regarding ginastics class, it is also very good, different exercises and with several staff to support all activities.

Plus it's super safe, clean, tidy, covid safe, what more could you ask.
The coffee machine however makes stupidly hot coffee...
S. T.I have bin taking my daughters to balance and beam for a total of 3 years. I cannot express what a fantastic effect balance and beam has had on both of them. There confidance grew massively and i know without taking my oldest daughter to balance and beam she would of struggled to adjust to going to nursery. Its a brilliant environment learning new skills every lesson. My daughter struggled to adjust to the independent class and didn't want to attend anymore. Without hesitation any money i had paid for lessons was put on my second daughters account and all the staff are extremely polite, friendly and approachable. Hopefully my oldest daughter will settle in to balance and beam classes this year as I believe it helps there social skills, confidence and of course they have loads of fun. I would highly reccomend balance and beam.
A. P.Amazing way to improve children's confidence and ability. My son was so shy before starting here. Now is so confident and his gymnastic ability is amazing the staff are so supportive of both him and myself. A really fun way for them to learn amazing skills on a fab range of equipment. Both myself and my son have made friends. Yes it's a little Pricey but worth it. Can't thank the team enough

My daughter wanted to do gymnastics after seeing the 2012 Olympics but was painfully shy and struggled in new environments so we weren't sure how she would manage with classes as any other clubs we had tried up to that point (swimming, rainbows etc) she cried and found it hard to join in.
Balance and Beam have such a well planned yet caring approach and inclusive environment that she not only stayed she thrived and is now a BGA bronze level gymnast with the confidence to begin competing and these skills have had a positive impact on so many other areas of her life too.
As she goes to high school this time I have no doubt that sending her to Balance and Beam has been one of the best decisions we have ever made for her - would give it 10 stars if I could - many thanks to all the team!
C. F.I have three children aged 11, 6 & 9 months old and they all enjoy attending weekly classes at Balance & Beam. I would highly recommend this gym for all ages and abilities! The staff are very friendly and encouraging with the children, they work with each individual to help them improve their skills and they make it fun for everyone. My children absolutely love going to class and have achieved so much since they all started. Balance & Beam also offer holiday camps for the children and my girls always enjoy that too!

E. M.We’re new to Balance and Beam but have loved all of our classes so far, we feel so welcomed at every class and I can’t compliment the staff enough! Every lesson has been jam packed with different fun activities. My daughter loves coming and has learnt how to do many different things since we started and has put use to these techniques at home to safely practice them here too. I can’t wait to see her grow and develop even more with her gymnastic skills! The ladies work very hard to ensure you get the most out of the class and teach you both how to do new things effectively and they explain the benefits of the methods you will use and the purpose of them, aswell as individually talking to you to discuss how well they are progressing! the group is always fun and we also went the messy play session which was good fun!! Can’t recommend balance and beam enough :)

R. T.My daughter attends holiday camps at Balance and Beam and the results in her physical confidence have been amazing. She has overly flexible joints so she falls over more than other kids her age. Coupled with an overly cautious mum (because of all the falls) and quite a perfectionist streak in my daughter, she was often unwilling to try physical challenges due to fear of failure.
She has only been to a few camps over the period of a year or so but it genuinely had a big impact on her. Last time she went, (age 7) as she got into the car, her exact words were: "It was amazing, I tried things I've never done before and I never thought I could do them. I'm a daredevil now." I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Balance and Beam to any other parents - whether for occasional camps or regular classes.
