We love going to Pride! Fantastic and experienced coaches that will support you no matter what level you are at. I couldn't even do a squat - my kids found it hilarious. We had family PT sessions and now we attend weightlifting clubs individually. I find it really beneficial for my main sport which is volleyball but it's not only enhancing my performance but mainly my confidence. I can only recommend Pride Performance, it's not only a gym but amazing community.

Having a personalised program to follow has taken out all the guess work. The support from Heather & Andy has been second to none. Wether you want to lose fat, build muscle, gain strength - whatever your goal, Pride will get you there! **Update** Just finished my first 16 week powerlifting training cycle and the results are way beyond what I thought was achievable in such a short time. Great people, great gym. They’ve been really good with us, I’m a beginner and their bar bell course is done really well, covers all ground and I’m feeling confident about using the equipment and correct technique. Would definitely recommend this as a friendly gym with knowledgeable owners 👍

Pride Performance is one of a kind! Run by two approachable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic coaches - both of whom are qualified British Weightlifting instructors - it offers a friendly and relaxed environment to develop and succeed, regardless as to whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced lifter. Pride is small enough to have a deeply personal touch - Andy and Heather know you; they know what you are good at and what you need to do to develop further, but it is big enough to have quality kit and coaches with experience and knowledge, who are passionate about what they do. Even better, Pride is incredibly family friendly, offering classes for 'cubs' (ages 6-11) and a youth membership (ages 11-17, and incredible value at £15 per month for 3 semi-private coaching sessions a week). Children are also welcome in the gym when their parents are training, so childcare isn't prohibitive when it comes to attending classes and achieving your goals. All in, I couldn't recommend Pride highly enough. A wonderful community with something to offer everyone. Check it out!

I had never tried Olympic Weightlifting prior to joining Pride, 3 months on and I have found something I am passionate about and keen to progress in. I've always felt very welcome as part of the gym and the coaches are friendly, very encouraging and give great guidance in learning the sport. Started with Pride last week on the 7 week Barbell Basics (highly recommend excellent value) I've trained in the past so I have a basic knowledge but the biggest difference being, the Pride community offers a smaller group session, this allows the coaches to be able to spend more quality time teaching excellent warm ups and technique giving you confidence and a commitment to progress as well as taking what you've learnt away with you. Wow what can I say! This gym is amazing! Fantastic equipment very family friendly the coaches are extremely knowledgable and helpful. Andy is my coach and has taken my 1RM on my squat to my current 10RM in less than 10 months . My over head press is stronger than it has ever been and my overall confidence over the barbell has returned . This gym is both for competitive athletes and family's to thrive . Warringtons best gym! This is the place to get strong , have fun and learn all at the same time. The kit standard is high , the team are super helpful and friendly and welcoming but most of all our entire family was welcomed by the pride team. As a parent of 3, I’ve observed the good and bad of how children are taught in various sports but Andy and Heather have it nailed down! They’re absolute professionals, completely understand their sport, youth coaching, nutrition and are excellent, British level coaches. We stumbled on Pride accidentally after they visited our daughters school and haven’t looked back since. Elli had a background in trampolining and had done a little bit of CrossFit but her fitness is now through the roof! Pride have taken her to British number 3 at 13 years old after working with her for only 8 months! They also have other British level juniors and champions. They’re so committed as coaches, have brilliant training programmes and are so inclusive with all of the kids at all levels that they will only continue to thrive. Pride has done so much for Elli’s confidence and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
