The refurb has made all the difference and they have at long last got the lighting right. Not too dark you can’t see what you’re doing but sufficiently low lit that you’re afforded some privacy and it delivers an atmosphere. The layout is 100% better and the text/workouts area is in a far more sensible location. The kit is top notch and as always the staff are the happy helpful crew they were before the changes. The only issue is that even at an off time it is quite busy. At peak times there’s just not enough kit/space for members.

Great gym with superb facilities, great staff, lovely pools inside and out with an incredibly well supplied gym area and multiple rooms for classes both multi use and specialised. Tennis courts inside and out and a great cafe bar with discounted prices for members. Oh and do not kiss the spa/sauna area by the pool and haven for adults!

Never been to a David Lloyd before. Came here as a guest and it was a lovely experience. It has everything you need at a gym. 2 pools (indoor and outdoor) sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. All aspects of the facility were very clean and the smoothies from there bar were very good!!

Well maintained club, great swim & spa facilities as well as the gym & racquet sports. Quite a good selection of social events for the family and the staff are very friendly. Obviously it is very expensive so works best for anyone who is nearby and can use the facilities regularly.

Gym is good and instructors are great especially yoga. Pool temperature is good for long swims. Deductd stars because showers are dirty. Black mould and often cold. Not good considering what I'm paying.

I was looking to potentially join in about 6 months after moving to Worthing. I went along as a guest for a day during the Xmas holidays which obviously meant kids everywhere. The gym is a scrambled mess of equipment, with little to no air con. The availability for users to clean equipment after use is very poor and there’s no way the staff can keep it clean. The changing rooms are not ideal for modest people. I felt very uncomfortable trying to change into a swimsuit with mothers bringing their children (boys and girls) into the changing room. Ran out of padlocks to borrow or sell and I wasn’t aware to bring one so had to keep running in and out to pass things to my boyfriend. The walk from the back of the changing rooms to the pool was a slippery death trap! The water fountains have such little water pressure they are unusable. Sauna is adult only yet I encountered kids in that area. Considering I know how much a membership is here I wouldn’t say it was any better than your local town leisure centre. Good range of facilities but lacking the finesse I expected from a David Lloyd. I will add the indoor pool felt very clean and a nice warm temperature.

Delux club with great indoors swimming pool and outdoors heated swimming pool. Gym equipment are outstanding and almost available. The staff are delightful, tentative and always smiling. Fabulous dining/lounge where you can choose to enjoy a scrumptious smoothie in the quiet lounge.

A place I feel at home, always made to feel welcome at reception, friendly and helpful staff in all areas. This club is like an oasis in Worthing, can’t imagine how we would cope without it. Fantastic equipment, many many classes and great indoor & outdoor pools. Wide variety of activities available including tennis and badminton, when your in need of a rest there’s a great area for food and drinks, perfect 👍

Just Wow! What a gorgeous gym. The spa section is outstanding. The pools (there is an out door one!) Warm and clean The changing rooms are lovely, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Great Club with excellent facilities, but my god the H&S at this Club is appalling. Can a Lifeguard on duty 10:20 scan while doing a pool test, Cleaning the floors, doing spa checks, NO, no they cannot, so why are they doing it? Should a Lifeguard be left on poolside for more than 90 mins, NO, so why are they? Lane rope hooks left in below the waterline without a lane rope connected to them, COSHH stores left unlocked and open regularly. If there is more than one lifeguard they slouch against the doors and chat. Even though I know for a fact the PSOP states they must patrol, they don't. Children under 16 in the gym outside of junior gym hours, no fitness advisor in the gym, and they aren't challenged or checked in over an hour. The H&S manger needs a copy of RLSS guildence and managing h&s in swimming pools. the standards have always been much lower than public centres that just comes with the private leisure industry, however since the previous two H&S managers left the standards are just so poor. fix it up before David Lloyd Worthing is the next David Lloyd Leeds.

As a member of David Lloyd's Brighton I was expecting to have a similar or better experience at Worthing but unfortunately it wasnt like that. The cemtre was absolutely packed. It felt more like going to one of the freedom leisure centres that are half or the price for the same facilities. Really disappointed.

I come here mostly to swim and use the spa area. I love swimming in the outdoor pool and then using the jacuzzi area and steam and sauna rooms. So glad it's all open again

Just love our club. The staff are immense and the club is so clean. Kids have tons of freedom and food is great. I can't imagine ever wanting to give up our membership here.

When I first started at David Lloyd the pool was warm the jacuzzi was warm and the steam room was great. But the number of times recently that the facilities need maintenance is to frequent they seem to lack a proper maintenance schedule and wait till it breaks. The cleaning staff work hard to clear up behind the members. A simple thing like a soap dispensor in the disabled family room has bbeen broken for over 3 months. That is what you notice the small things one of the jacuzzi pools has not worked for over a month. The staff are very friendly and helpful they just need to get there act together

They have really good facilities that's no question, but I do not understand what makes them any different to give members 15 mins to wash and get ready. As apose to Brighton Marina (David Lloyd) who give there members 30 mins. Too me pretty unfair.

I remember going to this David Lloyd’s in Durrington-on-sea/West Durrington at Worthing a long time ago when I was little and I had some fun swimming in there. It’s a nice leisure centre and I would recommend to anyone who’s never swam in there before especially if you live in Worthing, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. I am giving this 5 stars and a solid 9 out of 10. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great facilities, gym is well equipped, huge pool and addition of outdoor pool which is adult only is brilliant. Nice big jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Staff are on the whole friendly, gym staff and trainers are brilliant, friendly and helpful. Reception and cafe staff can be a little less so but on the whole very happy to be a member there.

I have always been wary of gyms thinking everyone would stare as I am overweight and unfit but not here, as you just go into your own zone whilst working out. Everyone is friendly including the staff. Facilities are fantastic. And I have even managed to swim in public (something I never do) this shows how comfortable I feel there. We have even eaten there a couple of times and can not fault the chef. Would recommend to anyone.

Recently the changing rooms are not clean, very wet and just not looking clean. Cafe always dirty. Table sticky, food on the floor, and have to wait a long time for food. Swimming pool on a few occasion clumps of hair.

Having been a member since 2013, I enjoy every moment at David Lloyd. I'm a keen swimmer, the pools are fab. The gym equipment is always available. Love the static bikes, rowing and weights. Being a member has had a very positive impact on my life.

Very nice. Recently refurbished. Much better than similar prices health clubs in the area. Great gym facilities, pool, huge 16 man jaccuzi, food is great too. My only moan is the price, I think it's a tad too expensive. Otherwise 5 stars.

My Children and I did a 14 day trial at DL. The Club has a great atmosphere and staff always friendly and willing to help. Sadly I couldn't justify the cost of membership and we were unable to join.
