I have been to the few aquatic shops in Belfast and this is the best among with great variety of fish and all necessary things you need to make great aquarium. I actually went to get one Betta fish and I saw many options there, the the prices were when compared to the Pets Home. But they have very excellent choices which you may not get in other shops. Thay also have a great variety of tanks from very small to very larges sizes for fresh as well as salt water fish. Excellent setup and great staff to help with your all queries.

Great place. Over the years they’ve been so helpful with their advice when the fish got sick. You never see any dead fish lying in their tanks unlike some other places so that just says to me how often they are checking on their fish. Today was just buying vouchers after a faulty heater killed fish. Just waiting to see how the others do before replenishing. Not nice to lose so many. No idea what type these guys are but how cool!!

Best aquatics shop in Belfast. All the staff have extensive knowledge about every single fish in the shop and are super helpful. They have high priority for animal welfare as well as their customers and always help me select exciting new fish that are appropriate for my tank. Highly recommend!

Great, helpful staff, huge choice. Unfrotunately - when I wanted to buy a new aquarium, they offered me to pay 260f for the tank that had label 210 (and the same price on the website shop). After I wrote an email with complain - they offered me to pay 250. Price on the website was stil 210.... Absolutely 0 professionalism, this is not the way how you dealing with customers in 2022...

What can I say?? They're the best around!! They are professional staff and very friendly. They aren’t just trying to sell you fish, they will teach you about the fish you want and also advise if they don’t think the fish you want will live peacefully with each other. They were also very helpful and patient with me ,Every fish in the store is quarantined and medicated before it's for sale to the public. They only carry products that are tried and true. The best possible aquarium experience you can have no matter your skill level is , Exotic aquatics my N1 store now .

Fantastic shop! A great variety of fish, decor, tanks, plants and water conditioners. Came into the shop to have a look around and ended up chatting with one of the staff members (Eliot) about the condition of the plants in our tank at home, as some leaves were turning yellow. He gave us great information on what could have been the cause and helped us with products which could sort out the problem, only time will tell if these products will for sure help our plants but if they dont I have no problem going back and seeking more help from this same staff member or others. All extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, will definitely be back again in the future. Highly recommend.

Exotic aquatics is basically the be all and end all of aquarium supplies, i used other fish suppliers over the years and they couldnt compare to how good Exotic's is, they have all the time in the world to discuss problems queries and solutions to anything you need to know, Awesome stock awesome staff and awesome location! I would definitely recommend I've been coming here for a couple of years now to get the majority or my tank supplies, fish and equipment. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. They care much more for the welfare of the fish than other stores I've used in the past, rather than looking for a sale. All fish stock I've bought have been healthy and good specimens.

I went in to get a fish tank having never set one up before. I spoke with a staff member named David and he was very helpful and was able to provide us with advice on which tank was suitable for which fish and how to get it set up. At first when I went into the shop the fish where not very colourful but that must have been because they where just settings the new shop up .For now I would say it one of the best fish shops in Northern Ireland that's y I give them 5 stars now and not 3 starts first class items and staff.

We started going to Exotic Aquatics after our existing supplier changed their focus and dropped their standards. Exotic's new larger unit is a big improvement over its older one, and their knowledge and friendliness are second to none. It's easy to see that all of the staff are enthusiastic and passionate about what they do, perhaps none more so than Kevin who has been our go to person for over a year now, even if he did spill water on us last time.... The quality of the fish is the best we've come across and there's also a massive range of food. Suggestions for the future would be to focus some resources on the tank showroom on the mezzanine floor which looks a bit like a work in progress (it probably is just that at the moment!), but really, the owners and staff are to be congratulated for their expansion and new unit. Keep up the great work!

WOW, have not been in the shop in around a year due to working overseas - what an amazing change the new store is, one stop shop for all aquatics! Called in to look at the Discus, couldn’t believe it when I seen they where selling Stendkers, thought it was only Seahorse in DublIn done them. Staff member I spoke was really nice, full of knowledge about the fish they had. Marine section loaded with corals and fish, all clean and healthy, freshwater selection also top class. I will be back to purchase some Discus at a later point once I look through the Stendker info sheets I was given.

Extraordinarily helpful! Just popped in for a browse whilst on a business trip to Belfast but couldn't leave the Copperband behind! I usually steer clear of these particular fish but a Copperband feeding on frozen is rare so I took the risk and agreed to collect the very next morning just before I boarded the ferry. All went smoothly with the help of an excellently packed fish and perfect timing. The CB is now in its new home stuffing it's face with frozen mysis! Definitely worth a visit if your in Belfast!!!!
