Bought some anti mould paint and some furniture paint here. Not much to say except that it seems to be working and the click and collect order process was very quick. Not a great photo - but this was the paint and it applied well

Always friendly and helpful. If you're walking around the store looking for something without a clue as to where to find it, and determined not to ask (as men do) they can spot you and will take you to where you need to be. True.

Purchased some garden slabs but checking stock within the garden area, many were mixed up with other types and several were broken/damaged. Would have been nicer if the broken slabs were removed but I suppose that will happen with heavy items

This particular Homebase seems a little smaller than others. The staff attempted to be helpful but were not particularly knowledgeable about anything technical. I was specifically looking for a turnbuckle to attach and tighten coated galvaized wire. This could be used for fencing or even a clothes line. When I asked where the crimps and wire crimpers were I was taken to electrical crimpers. I also was looking for a circular saw. Ozito is a good brand. There were huge gaps in the stock and not much of a selection of anything else. I liked the fact that the hand saws were made in Europe and not China. They were only fractionally more expensive for a much better product--hence the stars awarded.

It's a nice place but like everywhere else most of it comes from China. I mean there is no difference in the household goods than from pound stretcher or primark or matalan. All of which prices are rising. Some stores have items others don't but truly there is no difference in the quality wherever its made.

Nice store to wander around and browse for home and garden improvement items. Everything you will need for your home at reasonable prices. There are usually bargains to be had too, just look out for them. The staff were polite, professional and well presented. There are customer toilets available.

Homebase served me well. I was upgrading the illumination systems for her indoors. Who knew her illumination devices used such a wide variety of fitments? Luckily Homebase catered for my every need, they had every shape, size and type of bulb available. And the staff were super friendly too, can't fault them. Her indoors was well chuffed with her new illuminations, it was like a light being turned on!

Unlike other retail outlets the Click h Collect system is very slow. I checked items ordered were in stock but it took the best part of 24 hours to complete transaction. Received conflicting messages over 12 hour period - advised order could not be completed fully as there was one item missing and later was advised order was complete.

Homebase is an absolutely wonderful store if you are looking for anything to do with DIY or just something for your garden or even a simple item like a lamp, then this is the place for you my friend. The staff here are some of the best people I've ever met. I love any excuse to come here and blow a healthy wad on luxurious household items

Travelled from Paisley for door handles which were supposed to be available in the Dunfermline Store. Staff (two females) were very helpful when we couldn't locate the items. They searched everywhere they could think of, put a message out on their group chat then, phoned Glenrothes to check that they had them in stock and asked that they be put aside for us.

Both my wife and myself where in the shop this afternoon 15/10/2017. We were there for some gravel and edging for our garden. We are both disabled but try to be as independed as possible but I was struggling a bit with the trolley. The store manager turned up and gave us a hand through the til and to get what we bought into our car. thank you!! This is the second time we have been to the shop recently and had help then as well by the Manager (sorry we can`t remember his name).
