A. C.I only went to pick up colour charts, but I will be going back to buy paint soon. I love B & Q for the different choices of paint. They do have a Black Friday sale on just now, on some items. I did see some lovely light shades & electric fire places.
T. S.I've been in last week and was looking for specific PPPE. It was 3.00 pm huge empty parking. I came in and l saw one cashier an other one for the trade section. Few people 3 to be clear waiting for a technician. I wait a bit and observing no-one was in touch with them l start looking for someone. 5mn later l gave up. Crossed a B&Q guys who answered me he is leaving. What an experience.

H. N.Stores are not too crowded now and people adhering to the COVID related cautions. Speedy service and most shelves stacked with stock. Not a large range of floor tiles though in store.

Went to the checkout small queue but didn't wait too long the lady on the till was very cheery and prompt so overall no dramas would definitely return.

A. E. K.The staff here are really helpful, particularly on the paint mixing desk. The mixing system itself isn’t that great (the paint I got dried darker than the sample material I’d brought in, and they can’t just add white and lighten it for you - you need a whole new sample to match instead!) but the team are fantastic and do sympathise with these difficulties. The checkout team are also very friendly and the range of products in store is great. It’s also very well organised and kept clean.
I’d advise anyone who uses the paint match service and needs a lighter shade to mix the paint with a bit of white at home, paint that on a sheet of paper when you get the shade you want, and then bring the new hand-lightened shade in to be matched.
S. R.Great place to find just about anything you need. Maybe more expensive but you can't get stuck for material. Paints and accessories, tools DIY, plumbing stuff ironmongery gardening stuff, timbre, flooring, tiles, kitchens, bathrooms, building materials and much more. Now open plan trade and tools departments looks inviting. Photos next time.

Giving an extra star for the pick and mix nut, bolt and screw station. What a fantastic thing. The amount of bags of bolts I have bought, when only needing 1 or 2.
Usually the staff are very knowledgeable, but on this visit it proved difficult to purchase what I was looking for. Effectually purchased what I was looking for, but took more effort than it should.

G. F.A great size - you can generally always find what you’re looking for here. Loads of space between the aisles and there’s always someone around to ask for help (which I usually need…).
I think it might be slightly expensive compared to trade prices elsewhere but I find it reasonable.
I do sometimes find that they don’t have the larger size tubs of paint (but I’ll put that down to the current distribution issues).
S. S.B&Q always my first choice but staff here not much cooperative been for a lock cylinder. It was my first time so don't know the store that much ask frist staff gave me a direction, it's okay. Could not find the item after 10 minutes then asked for help another staff he asked me to stay there as he doesn't know exactly. I waited 15 minutes then walked towards a desk and immediately that staff member told me don't ask anything from me... Really disappointed with the attitude, I saw 2 member of staff walking, I asked them politely if they can help me, it was my last try but finally I got someone helped me very well and found that item was out of stock. That was my first experience in Glasgow B&Q... Never had a problem in Manchester.

T. M.Went to see new kitchen, there was a lot of choice. We are going to shop around before making g a fi Al decision. We loved a grey colour kitchen and if we don't find anything better than that then we will go back and order that.
It also depends on our budget too, normally they have full kitchen prices written there but couldn't see it this. I might have missed it but next time I will go and get the full design done and see it is suitable for our kitchen.

W. B.Popped in the office to look at their kitchen units. I was a little disappointed. Before C-19 you could pick up a sample of a worktop etc and put together a "storyboard" to get a good idea of how everything would look. These are all now fixed and nothing can be removed. We were unable to speak to a planner and was told we would need to make an appointment online. We couldn't even make an appointment whilst there. Another staff member was quite helpful and showed us where the DIY units were and showed us what colour doors were available. Unfortunately we left empty handed. We couldn't make an appointment as my friend didn't know what dates he'd be working. I understand changes are required for safety but the planner wasn't interested in talking to us at all and she gave the impression that we were interrupting her and wasn't happy about it. Overall there was plenty to look/buy. They have sanitising units as you walk in and a staff member with a box of masks (I think). Worth a visit but book in advance if you want to chat to (a miserable) planner and I hope she'll do a better job designing your kitchen.

h. !.went to this bnq recently- brilliant experience. my wife passed last Monday and my daughter and i have been struggling and have decided to create a project together. this lovely, and may i say, handsome employee named cormac helped us with everything. very knowledgeable on mahogany and other woods. our project is coming along nicely and we are feeling more complete and happy all thanks to this lovely chap. many thanks and i hope that fellow gets a raise ! his mahogany expertise is frankly incredible and we were stunned by the amount he was able to share with us. very chatty chap, especially with my daughter, which i believe she enjoyed. respected social distancing while showing us the wood and answered all our questions efficiently. best mahogany ive ever purchased and i will return soon for more wood from this delectable young man. 10/10
D. L.When I last visited the store, it was shortly after the lockdown was lifted and stock appeared to be limited at that time. Slightly less encouraged to return a few weeks later, I was surprised to find the store was stocked up and running as per normal, albeit with social distancing measures in place. It's a very popular/busy store and I can see why

Free car parking in a huge car park and the store isn't only wheelchair accessible it has an escalator that can accommodate wheelchair users.

A. A.Yes everything is there apparently yes but no. The helpers are great example of customers service here in this branch.
I got great advice on using the correct tools. There are some great bargains in bargain section which always is a great place to start with.
They even asked me if I needed to cut the timber which I really needed. What else I can.

R. W.B&Q in general has gone downhill. Gone are the days when knowledgeable staff members are wandering around to help you, you're lucky if you see any. But as DIY stores go, good to be able to see before you buy. This store is huge so lots to choose from. This one is clean and tidy with plenty of tills. They also have self check outs which can speed up getting out. Also a large discount area which can be fun to browse for a bargain.
C. B.Swiftly able to return an item that was damaged with customer services at the front desk, given a credit note and told to pick the same product from the shelf and was told which aisle to walk to. In and out in under 5 mins

B. M.B & Is set in a retail park with a great variety of shops including Tesco and B & M and Argos it also has several food outlets including a Costa Coffee and loads of parking places.

Staff very helpful especially paint department, went out their way to make up requested RAL number and made sure it was correct colour before committing to payment, friendly atmosphere, definitely first choice as stay midway between both of above.
