When a bolt on my so-called 'good name' bike rack sheared leaving the bikes flailing it was Screw It that had the parts to get us back on the road/holiday. Loved the range of stuff in this Tardis-like shop that would normally involve traipsing round a warehouse the size of an aircraft hangar. Excellent.

Superb customer service - Urgently needed a phone that did not require power due to lengthy power cut in Lochearnhead- Screw It had one but no power to take my card payment, bank cash machine down due to power cut as well - chap gave me the phone and said come back in and pay me when you can - stunning - got my 87 year old mum back into some normality of phone contact after 24 hours where we had no idea if she was safe and ok - result! Hi, my father who is elderly and lives local often asks me to take him to shop here and says how helpful and patient the staff are and, whatever you need to do a d.i.y job they always have what's needed. Overall excellent and value for money.

Popped in here for rubble bags and was surprised to see they were cheaper than B&Q which was miles away anyway. Staff were super helpful and gave me a load of assorted heavy duty sacks for free. Top blokes!

While traversing the length of Scotland on the End-to-End trail, we stopped in at Screw It! and found some pretty cheap fuel for our Esbit stove and all the other sorts of goodies one would expect to find at a shop called Screw It!. Big fan.

What a great shop it has everything and at reasonable prices not just DIY stationary toys electrical items plastic flowers pet stuff plates cups saucers heaters it's so interesting and what great service polite helpful friendly it's like shops used to be personalised also you can often park close to it.

When the new owners of screw it took over about 2 years ago the local community in Callander were a bit wary. The new boys had funny accents and though they said they were from Glasgow had permanent sun tans!. The type we pay a small fortune in Spanish Holidays sun beds to acquire.I use the shop regularly as I live across the road .The previous owner Ronnie had been there for 20 years and wanted to put his feet up.so I got to know the new guy Farhan .I went in one day to buy a wee tent just in case my grandsons came to visit from Brighton, I saw a cheap tent price £25 .I began to haggle with Farhan ,I said it was winter and no one would want a tent at this time of year so he said to me make me an offer so I pondered and chanced my arm and said I will give you one penny and kept a straight face and trying not too wet my pants! To my amazement. Farhan said for you Danny that's fine.I pmsl and said thank you Farhan we went to the till to hand over my penny and get a receipt ,I got my wallet out and gave him £20 and keep the change kind sir.Farhan finally got the joke !
