M. G.Often overlooked this place is by far the cheapest and best builders merchants I've been to. The staff are incredibly helpful and they always have what I want even when all the other local merchants have sold out.

When I was approached by Gibbs and dandy Elland Road branch I openly shared my current material prices with them to compare against. To which 99% of materials they could match or beat. Since we started using them 18+ months ago they have always bent over backwards to keep their prices on par with other suppliers and they have even taken additional business from my other suppliers such as roofing suppliers, door suppliers and even window suppliers. I would not hesitate to recommend Gibbs and dandy to any builders and see what they can do for you as well.
s. m.This is a parent company of Jewson. They are more geared towards DIY people. I use them for bulk deliveries like jumbo bags and heavy items as they have a wagon with a crane and can drop off where you want it. Same or slightly cheaper than Selco but with the advantage of you do not need to be a tradesman to join. However much better than B&Q , Wickes etc as they do not charge for delivery etc as long as it is heavy items your ordering and that's the whole point of using them.
M. C.Gibbs and dandy have been my suppliers ever since they opened on Elland Road. The staff are always very polite and helpful. Their prices are on par with everyone else’s and they’ll deliver to site free of charge usually next day too which is great.
