Went to B&Q to find a replacement shower arm and head but no luck. We went round the corner to Baker and Soars and what a fantastic service we received. When you buy something new, you rely on good advice from the retailer. Not only must the product live up to expectations, but you should feel that you are in good hands if any issues arise after purchase. Installation of our Creavit bidet toilet was not straightforward, but Amar and his recommended plumber did an excellent job. We have had it for over 3 years now and are very happy with it. Amar's after sales service is second to none. Thoroughly recommend.

We embarked on an ambitious project to create an en-suite (2.4m x 80cm) in a bedroom. Together with our plumber, we agreed on our design, and then, at the plumber's recommendation, we arranged a visit with Amar at the showroom. We made a couple of visits to confirm choices, and Amar was always very helpful and accommodating. There was a lot of choice in the showroom, but as there was a particular toilet that we wanted, he arranged to order that in for us. I think that our plumber works regularly with Baker and Soars, and the delivery of goods appeared well organised. We had a couple of issues with damaged goods, and items that were not the correct ones, but this was soon sorted - and within a week the en-suite was ready to use. We are very happy with the service that was provided!!

Sought a quote for a Roman shower screen from Baker and Soars and Mark came back to me with a great price so placed an order with him. Mark kept me in the loop with order & delivery delays due to Christmas. The screen was delivered promptly on the day and time slot they provided and was delivered by their own driver, all intact, so no concerns over risk of breakage by them using a courier. Overall a great service and price and would happily use them again and to recommend them.

Another supplier completely dropped me in the doo-doo by over promising and under delivering ! Baker and Soars got me out of the brown stuff in 24 hours with good old fashioned customer service. Would not take payment until stock item was confirmed. Advised next morning of a potential delivery delay over the weekend. Advice proved unnecessary as product had been dispatched directly from the manufacturer just before close of play and it arrived in less than 24 hours. I have bought several column radiators from Baker and Soars. A couple of them have arrived with minor imperfections. On calling them, replacements were ordered without any fuss or issue (new ones were perfect). It's refreshing to find a supplier that if a problem does occur, that you can be confident they will resolve it. Would happily order from them again.

I ordered a bath tap using the website, next day they phoned me to let me know it was going to be 10 days for delivery. I explained I couldn't wait that long, they offered a full refund but they also found me an alternative, which I accepted and the tap was delivered next day by courier. Thank you Armour. Your latest product for Drain Cleaning has worked a treat. The outside drain was heavily blocked (grease) and we needed 2 goes to clear it as you suggested. This Store is a gem. Fantastic service, very helpful and informative. I am not a plumber of any sort but just a beginner in DIY. Our fist floor WC Cistern had packed in so to speak, after much messing around trying to get the old flushing system to work (which never did in the end), i went to Baker and Soars. It's great when a random find turns out to be a real gem. Total bathroom renovation required the full selection of bathroom fittings - bath, shower, basin, fillers, mirror cabinet, wall units, towel radiator, the lot. Amar was patient, full of advice, prepared to listen, knew I had compromises to make and gave the distinct impression that he was trying to make life easy for me, rather than just sell stuff. For a clueless bloke like me, it's all about removing cognitive dissonance - Amar, you did a great job! He was also flexible about some of the choices we had to make, which again made life so much easier, especially in testing times. Did I go over budget? Yep, but not by much and the quality of the kit and advice was worth it. Recommended (and we'll be back with another project...).

I recently ordered Mayfair Basin Mixer and Bath Filler Taps from Baker and Soars which were delivered within 2 days. There was a problem with one of the items delivered, the specification for the Basin Mixer was different to the website description and wasn't suitable for my needs. Amir was very helpful in sorting out the problem, and I received replacement taps from a different manufacturer within 3 days. Absolutely fantastic service and support. If, like me, plumbing is akin to witchcraft, then this is the place to go. Went in on Bank Holiday Monday holding a part of the shower drain and asked the usual idiotic question..."Have you got one of these?" The gentleman serving couldn't have been more helpful, found the part, advised me how to replace it without breaking it and then pointed out where we had been going wrong with the cleaning regime (pouring strong chemicals down the plughole, which had caused the offending piece to lose its nature). Baker and Soar on Parker Drive in Leicester is an excellent centre for getting products for disabled people at reasonable prices. The range of products and service is delightful and Amar was very helpful and efficient. I was having difficulty finding a padded shower stool for our small shower and a hand rail. They were ordered for me with prompt delivery and arrived at least £15 cheaper than the Red Cross shop in Leicester and is fully adjustable, easily washable and fits beautifully. When we collected with my husband in his wheelchair, we were given hot chocolate whilst he was with a customer. A second handrail which didn't need fixing to the wall was given us to try at home. It had an indicator to show whether it was fixed. Well done Baker and Soar and I would thoroughly recommend you.

Baker and Soars is an Aladdin's cave full of everything bathrooms. I had looked in all the usual DIY stores for a mahogany toilet flush handle with no luck. At B & S's store on Parker Drive the person who served me was most helpful and found just what I was looking for, a mahogany and brass toilet flush handle mad e of real wood and real brass, no plastic anywhere. I purchased two Reina radiators from B&S. the first radiator arrived within two days with the supplier stating a 3 week delivery on the second. This never happened and B&S where excellent in supporting me to sort out the problems with the Reina distributor after mis-guidance on delivery dates. The radiator did arrive some five days later than specified and arrived damaged. Again B&S helped to sort the problem quickly with a replacement the next day. (again arriving with slight damage). In all instances B&S were very helpful and kept the pressure on Reina to sort out the problems. I would highly recommend B&S however the product and availability of the Reina Radiators were very disappointing.

Last summer I had the builders in and outside the kitchen waste pipe didn't fit along side the rainwater downpipe into the size drain they put in . I couldn't find a product to connect the two . I had seen some CT1 Power Grab ‘n’ Bond advertised at Baker and Soars, it was the only option left to me and so I tried it out. It worked perfectly! It hasn't moved since and is amazing.
