I go into this wilko store mist weeks. It's quite a handy location in the precinct not far from the waterside, A good size store too.pretty much most things you'll need in there. It's quite a busy shop so that tells you alot about its popularity,

Well set out store and very spacious. Has an upstairs as well, always my go to for any simple essentials. Cheap and good quality, right on the high street so easy to access. One of the main stores I go to regularly.

This is 5⭐️s for their decorating materials. Several years ago, I bought their paintbrushes which were fantastic. I looked after them but, eventually, after a lot of painting, they were past their best. Wilkins no longer sold them. Didn't matter how much I paid, no other brushes were as good. Just decorating a new property and thought I would try Wilkos new range of brushes. Brilliant, just as good as previous. If you have the right tools, what a difference. The brushes cut in perfectly, no bristle loss and were so cheap. We love the emulsion paint as well. Covers really well and, again, a good price.

Some very big price increases on several items I've noticed of late,in the good old days things went up a penny or too but now it's 20p or 25p, one item has gone up from £1.50 to £3.00 that is a rip off. No doubt the mafia co-op has put the rent up. Not a happy shopper.

Staff are absolutely wonderful and of course it's be a stretch for the staff to know about all of the products they sell but if you have a question at this store you'll find if the staff member you ask doesn't know about the item they'll either find someone who does or will do the research on site. Prices are good, staff friendly, the store does look a bit run down but it doesn't affect the service. When the store gets busy they put more servers on. So yeah, it's a really good Wilko.

I like popping in to wilko when I go into town, prices are about as good as any shop, you may find cheaper online, but can you see and feel the quality of an item so you can decide if its right for the job etc online like you can in real life? Also in an emergency situation you get get an item same day, which is helpful. Good customer service and plenty of tills open so q's are kept to a minimum.
