Asked for timber, told only done 4.2 length Wanted 3metre Asked for 3x2 it appears the one I needed Is not quite 3z2 but does come in 3metre ,same for board asked for 6x1 gravel boards in timber 6x1 told again only sold in 2. 4. Wanted 2metre Perhaps I never made it very clear but then he should have queried what I wanted ? Normaly very happy with service ,but not on this occasion, guy from warehouse who got timber was very helpful..

Used here for years. Usually get what you want. Lads in the yard are helpful and usually cheerful. Prices have escalated recently, like everywhere else. I can never understand why stuff thats been in stock for months or even years goes up so much because of recent events. The words jump and bandwagon come to mind. They're not alone mind.

Needing wood to build a summer house for a hot tub, we had only a vague idea of what to buy, the fella could not have been more helpful! Told us of a better way to do thing's, & also the cheapest way with what to buy. Drive a Ford Galaxy so wood almost fit, with an overhang from the boot, the fella's loaded up, secured all the wood in place, & then tied down & sercured the boot for the drive home. 5* service! Highly recommend. Thanks guy's

Rang up as I needed some materials to build a fence on top of my garden wall. Spoke to a helpful lady in the office who went through specifics of what I would need. Advised they had the 6x2 fencing panels and timber posts in stock and to come pick them up. When I arrived the everyone was helpful and had put my stuff aside except for the timber posts as they said they didn't have any and seemed surprised when I said I was told they were in stock. 3 panels were £61.50 which was cheaper than elsewhere and good quality. Only markdown was for the timber posts
