B. S.Our first time visiting ADS One after recently moving to Streatham. What a wonderful visit it was! The service was so helpful and the quality of stock was great. We plan to do some gardening and were able to get all the stuff we needed to make a lovely Spring garden. Such a pleasure to be able to shop local and have genuinely great personal service knowing you’re supporting the small guys. Can’t wait to go back and get some more bits soon!

m. s.I knew I could get everything I needed from the other big place across the road but we must support local grassroots businesses who need our help. Every time I’ve been there they had what I wanted including something I really didn’t think they would have so it was a pleasant surprise. ADS One is now my go to place when I’m in Streatham! The banter is also delightful!

A. M.One of my favourite local shops, always has everything I need, hard to find items? I bet you'll find them here and cheaper than the shop round thd corner from me. I visited almost weekly during lockdown for plants, flowerpots, advice and the friendly chat with the staff. Love this place ;)
S. S.A perfect local hardware shop. I've never left empty handed - they always have everything I need. They know their stuff, always able to answer my questions, disappearing into the back to pull out exactly the right kind of screw or widget or bracket I'm looking for and count the perfect number out the box for me. You can't show the cashier at B&Q a rawlplug and say "I need six more of these, and screws to fit", but you can here.
J. C.Old school hardware store...if you want a specific type of screw or nail, they'll nip in the back and get it for you. Great staff with plenty of experience.
A level of service you won't get at Leyland across the road.
D. W.This represents what an independent hardware store should be. Friendly knowledgeable staff with small wooden draws of every part you could wish for. It is just like the set of the Two Ronnie's "Fork Handles". Simply wonderful and a jewel of Streatham High Street.
N. C.Great DIY shop with extensive stock at good prices. No matter how obscure the item you seek they invariably have it. Very helpful team - on the rare occasion that they do not stock the item you seek ( I was looking for a specialist door lock mechanism) they will advise where best to find it locally and how to get there. I love coming in here because the team of gentlemen behind the counter are very knowledgeable, exceptionally courteous and have a lovely warm sense of humour with excellent banter. I always leave with what I need and a smile.
J. H.A well-stocked, independent hardware store run by a friendly bunch of guys who are always on hand with advice and the occasional joke. Have lived in Streatham Hill for fifteen years and without a doubt, this is the best shop in the area. Highly recommended.

M. G.The ladder shop, we call it that, as this hardware shop, when open there are always ladders outside.
For us women a delight to visit, the 2 or 3 gentlemen who serve always helpful. It is like time stood still the service they give. No rush and they listen to any problem, do they have the product you need. It is fun to see them with their mugs of tea, if you visit at the appropriate time.
They do have their normal trade, usual male customers. It is on a corner, so side street in case you need to park to pick up large items.
Highly recommend this Hardware shop.

THey stock a great collection of bits and bobs and the prices are pretty good when compared to "big business" trying to undercut the little guys.
I'd always go to these folks before making a journey to some larger store.
