Had everything I needed. Filler, vapour tape, Dulux Trade white paint at good price. Am usually very happy with Builder Depot. Only one bad experience previously a few years ago with a drill that I bought that didn't work and I had to return it using warranty, builder depot wouldn't accept it back. Otherwise it's always been a good place to shop.

As a non trades person I found this company very helpful and patient. I contacted the online sales team and made contact with Cristina Balici who helped me calculate how much material i needed and place my order. She answered my every question promptly and accurately and kept me informed of delivery. My delivery arrived on time and thr driver was extremely helpful. Under no obligation to assist he helped me transport the items off the lorry. As well as this the prices were competitive. Would not hesitate to order from here again.

Just fount my new favourite shop. What a fantastic place. Easy parking, and well stocked builders merchants. I bought some meranti hardwood to renovate a garden seat. Superb timber and great price. Will definitely use this place again.

Website was easy to use, frequent email notifications from placing order to dispatch. But Transport Department did not get our delivery note, wasted a trip. Both Delivery Department and the driver were super helpful in rescheduling the delivery. Excellent customer service.

Situated near Arnos Grover overground and North Circular. Mainly for trade but everyone welcome. Long warehouse with timber at the very end, so drive along the outside if buying timber. Lots of stock covering all building, plumbing and electrical needs. Payment is at the front. Security checked on exit and sometimes before you leave at the gate. Reasonable prices.

Mixed experiences. In my last order several items were damaged, one item was missing and one item was delivered (and charged) double. I could not return it due to the size of the item and the cost of a pickup which they insisted on. I only got that information after going into the shop, then filing a ticket and finally calling again because promised follow ups didn't happen. On the other hand they do have a fairly good range of products and the staff in store is friendly and does their best to be helpful.

The cable is very good price much cheaper than anywhere else, came in on Tuesday to buy some cable to be served by 2 guys claiming to be the buyers of that section. Very helpful people gave me there card to call if I need anything not on the shelf or online, highly recommend!

Fantastic service from BD for our house renovation. Could not recommend their flat pack kitchens enough. Flooring and general building materials, especially timber all good quality and priced competitively. I would recommend London Kitchens over some other major brands in a heartbeat.

I was a lost soul going into this massive building not knowing what product to buy for the project I was doing (a bit if DIY ?) having asked many of the staff for their help and advice I was shown products to suit my requirements and also advice how to use. I did have to bring a product back as it did not do what it said on the tube. After a bit of explaining to various members of staff that it was faulty they said I could not return as been opened ....Uh yes that's why I know it does not work .... I eventually got to speak to a Manger who was quiet shocked ( as was I !!) that the product was faulty after testing it he then exchanged. All in all a great experience and extremely polite and helpful staff. I was impressed as never been to a place like this and I'm sure I will be back.

I have been shopping in Builders Depot in the last few years. I have to say their service is significantly improved lately. The flow of traffic is well organised. They usually have a good stock of items. Most importantly the ladies are very friendly and helpful at the till.

Builder Depot is a serious building supply company. The seem to stock a way bigger selection than other suppliers and at the best price around. Only used them one for mail order and that was shipped on time. Rest of the time I visit in person. Its big and very busy. Factor that in when you go.

Excellent timber quality. I bought siding as well as some PAR timber of varying dimensions for a shed and didn't have to patch a single knot. Also, nothing was warped. Contrast that with a specialized local timber supplier who had many warped boards. Besides their delivery service was very fast and reliable. Great selection of power tools from Dewalt and Makita, as well - many of them on display. Having said that, here's the bad part... I unfortunately can't give more than 3 stars due to several issues I have encountered. First, a delivery of wood was incomplete and had to be fulfilled on two separate days without giving me any fair warning of this. And just today, I was going to pick up some Thistle plaster after enquiring via the phone whether they had it in stock ("yes - 9 bags") only to be told by the New Southgate depot that this was wrong and they were all gone. This wasn't because they had been purchased in the meantime. It was because their ordering system was not up to date. Another wasted two hour round trip. So unfortunately, due to these issues, I can't full-heartedly recommend them. By any means, still go there, but be aware of these issues.

We ordered a number of our bathroom items from here. Carina in the bathroom section is very professional and knows her products. Prices are very competitive however you need to benchmark with other suppliers. All the items arrived on time as well.

I did purchased 30 meter of sofwood tember tand asked the guy there to cut for me 2 meters exactly they charged me for the cut however when I get back home I find out he cut all of them wrong some are + 4mm some are -- 4mm some are + 6mm some --2/3mm even a wonky cut and one timber very wonky all the way long the wood itself. The button line he ruined my wood I need it for pictures frames.. Builder depot should have a professionals working not a cowboys.. However the prices there is good the only thing some staff like that turns people off going there. I do recommend this company. But you have to be aware. To do it yourself if you need a cut there. Thanks for other staff they were kind and helpful.

If you know what you want then they are good but this is a full on builders depot, costumer service is very low on their list of priorities, but their prices and amount of stock makes up for it. I use them for DIY jobs so can only go there at weekends as its trade only during the week.

First time visit today and it was busy but well managed.i came to pick up 20 rolls of underlay and had trouble fitting it on the trolley and a man who works there went out of his way to tie it up for me so credit to him and builders depot,will come back to here
