We had a electrical problem with a kitchen appliance and on another separate occasion, a plumbing problem and on both visits, we found the guys to be experienced, understood our problem and were very helpful indeed. Will definitely go back to Poplar Spares Centre and DIY again for sure.

Love this shop always open when I need something in the DIY sector from bolts to nuts they've got it all. I've been going here for around 7 or so years and it's never failed me yet the guy even helped me find some and order it to the store ready for me to pick up a few days later. Proppa good guys

Poplar spares and repairs never fails me and never ceases to amaze me with the level of service they give. Very kind and extremely polite and helpful unlike halfords extortionate and rude! I've stopped going to halfords because they do jobs better and much cheaper aswell. Halfords chare nearly £20 for a bulb change! That's supply and fitting a simple bulb. Poplar spares and repairs charge £10 for supply and fit! Good quality bulb aswell. I have not gone back to halfords ever since. They also have most of your car needs and other household repair essentials and DIY needs. I always go back to Poplar spares and repairs for everything.

Good shop for most parts. have picked up parts for replacing bits on the van like light wipers and things like brake fluid, anti freez. oil and wiper fluid. Also have a good section of DIY parts for plumbing electric and general building. That also make replacement and vanity plates.

Helpful staff, were interested in my project. Got my timber cut to size as a service. Recommended!

Always a pleasure returning to my local DIY store. Old fashioned approach of welcoming smiles, friendly demeanour making one feel at home in an instant. I feel relaxed enough to enquire about DIY queries in that I usually have very little knowledge, let alone terminology. Today was no different yet I was sorted in minutes showing wealth of experience. Of course the best treat is left till the end when value for money actually translates into a more than reasonable bill. Highly recommend a visit especially on a shoe-string budget.

This store is excellent and all the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Hence, this is my go to store, whether it is key cutting, buying door locks, changing batteries in car keys, buying paint and filler, etc. They are always interested in helping you out rather than making money and this shows. Many times have they suggested me where to buy parts that they did not stock and what to look for. This place is priceless. Don't believe, just go. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain!

Amazing shop owner - so honest and nice! My husband and I went to buy our car battery and not only he was so professional in looking up the make and model, giving us advice, even offered multiple times to loan us his own tool kit so we don’t have to buy one. The battery only came to £49 better than buying online and far more convenient. Thank you so much!

Had great service here, went in to replace old door latch as i couldnt find it anywhere. Guys here were extremely helpful although they didnt have the same latch they took their time to inspect the old one and repaired it for me. Very pleased should of come here sooner. Thanks again. Good car spares/DIY shop. Helpful staff that will help if they can. Get nearly all you need here. The parking isn't free there's permits to park at the front but you can go round the back of shop there's garages park there and ring the bell at back of shop they will answer you from there!

Very very pleased with their service. Battery was dead for 2 months and was about to sell. Now I'm driving almost every day thanks to a fitting which was done in about 15 minutes. Very friendly and welcoming and the staff know what they're doing. If you want quality service for a reasonable price definitely visit Poplar Spares. Top notch.

Very nice people working here. Had a flat tyre so the guy came out with his little pump and helped me out. Went to Tesco and the pump took out the air from my tyre instead of putting air in.
