I recently found Maidstone Builders Merchants (MBM) to source some building materials. The experience has quite simply been amazing, with MBM now my number 1 company of choice for buying building stuff. MBM offers very competitive pricing, with excellent customer service that's miles ahead of their big-name trade rivals. The general manager Dan, one of the most knowledgeable, helpful and kindest person/professional I have ever met, is supported by a stellar team of workers who know their stuff inside out. With MBM, you get customer service as it should be with textbook efficiency all round. MBM is an absolute credit to the UK building supplies industry, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. This is one company that actually deserves more than 5*****

Excellent customer service. DIY project was to lay some artificial grass. Needed some aggregate for the base. Great advice, even rang one of their regular landscape gardeners to confirm. Definitely the right choice. Best part was the delivery. I live in a small square of Victorian houses with limited access. The driver didn't give up, even though he probably wasted a good half hour trying to get past parked cars. Couldn't recommend highly enough. My new go to builders merchant for all future projects

One of the team is working locally to my house, the driver had to reverse back a really long way on a single track road, he had the loveliest smile and he made my morning much easier, I felt I must call the office and tell them of my pleasant experience. Excellent customer service, needed only one piece of 8x2 wood for some DIY in the house. After looking at Wickes, B&Q and other big retailers, I was left confused with measurements, quality and price. As couldn't find a proper 8x2 (not as sold on Wickes and B&Q which are 5mm shorter). Anyways, googled and Maidstone Builders Merchants Ltd came up and gave them a ring, the person over the phone asked what I was looking for, checked the stock and gave recommendations, free delivery locally and price which was unbeatable. After a thorough research I found Maidstone Building Merchants and decided to approach the branch for further comparison on prices , timeframes on deliveries and all related services. I could not recommend MBM highly enough as they’ve been extremely good in delivering and helping me find trustworthy local companies and contractors. Based on the large scale of the project we have had all our deliveries on time , Sonny and Jazz have been always keeping us updated and informed . I’ve been working with most of the major suppliers in the city of London and in several different counties, but so far MBM have been the most professional, productive and efficient ! GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE, QUICK DELIVERY: Since they first opened, we have been buying our building materials from MBM. I had been dealing with them on a daily basis. Sony, Raz, Jaz are all good guys, they guide and assist you whenever they can. They are a family firm and this is reflected in their business. If you are lucky, one day you may even taste the delicious samosas that Sony’s wife made :). Many times MBM bailed us out by delivering large amount of materials to site with a very short notice. The goods are the same but the price is generally much cheaper than the big brands. In summary: good value for money, hustle free, friendly, reliable and professional service. Well done guys!
