Y. T.My experience is based on a 'Click and Collect' order. The store was not too busy, not crowded and did not have to wait for too long to see someone. The staff members were extremely delightful and a joy to speak to. The service provided was quick, efficient and to the point. Being there made me feel at ease. Based on my experience I will be coming back even if it is a bit more far out then the city of Nottingham it was still so worth it.

Recommend you check your receipt,.been over charged double the purchase cost (£80 notes on one occasion), twice now. Staff was totally indifferent to their mistakes, not even an apology.

B. G. B.We got most of what we needed had to queue but didn't have to wait long. The only thing is no plastic flower tubs. When we got to the checkout it was a very nice young lady nice and chatty which I like. I remembered when I was there if they did ice blocks for cool bags she said she hadn't seen them but she would look for us bless her she came back with a pk of 2 and I thought I could have done with back she went and smiled all the time nice and helpful.

N. S.Went to have a look at paint colours, decent range on display and wood flooring samples. Very helpful staff and very easy to keep the 2 meter distance rule as there weren't many other people in the shop. Hand sanitiser stations at the entrance to the shop. They have some good DIY deals but not a big store, they sell most most DIY essentials here and have a good range of plants.

P. I.Has everything you need for Home and Garden, good offers on furniture. Plants all regularly watered and kept in good condition too.

P. S.I always get the feeling that Homebase has lost its way a bit. Very pricey and dated layout. When you see stores like Range and B and M thriving it does make you wonder how long Homebase has got left. There's probably another asset stripping takeover in the pipeline.
A. 0.May look very quiet compared to B&Q but the tools are better quality and they had some good compost for some plants that I brought for my mum last year. Staff are helpful. For kitchens I would go to Long Eaton Appliance Centre rather than B&Q or Homebase. Long Eaton Appliance Centre are awesome

R. F.Doesn't seem to be making much effort to enforce use of masks, stock levels hit & miss. Ok if you're in dire need of something urgently providing they have the stock, however if you can wait you can normally get most things cheaper elsewhere.

The other thing I needed wasn't in stock, so I was forced to buy a substitute which was 60% more expensive.

Didn't have the fireplace suites on display like they used to have. Plenty of kitchens on display though. They've got a bargain corner, but most of the stock is damaged and they still want a lot for it. Ok if you're just browsing, but B & M next door is a much better browse.

I. S.Toilets are not available. The store was not very tidy in places stuff on floor untidy fixtures. Hardly any staff. The general standard has not got the pride as a few years ago.
P. M.Covid-19 restrictions have a minor effect on the usual shopping. But the there is still plenty of stock to select. The social distancing measures don't effect the flow of the system.
B. P.Good store but gone down hill a lot lately. Wouldn't say that was the staffs fault. However lack of checkouts open gives it a four star instead of five.
