The B&Q at the Seacourt tower retail park is a really big outlet and has almost everything needed for home improvement under one roof. All the DIY items - hardware and paints, electrical and mechanical equipment, necessary tools and household stuff - everything is available. The best part of B&Q here is the variety of stuffs available for gardening. I was totally impressed with the collection and availability they have. Also, the staff members have a good knowledge and are friendly.

If you have a question ask Ashley! I went to the Oxford store this week and needed some help buying some lino they had. It was on rolls, but I was in my mini. Ashley, helped me carry it to the till and took it off the roll, folded it for me and helped me carry it to the car. All the time he was nice and talked to me. He gave me advice about what glue to get. Ashley was a great help and I had such a nice experience.

Very helpful staff member, Chand, helped me load up heavy bags of sand, cement and Postcrete and put them in my car. All this was done with a cheerful smile. He seemed genuinely pleased to help. Made a potentially daunting shopping trip an easy, pleasant experience.

We couldn't find the item we'd looked at online (a specific shelving bracket that we wanted to look at in person to see if it might work for our project). Also, accompanied by 2 small boys who needed the toilet - and found them to be out of order, so couldn't hang around to look as had to hit costa across the car park for a toilet trip 🤦🤷 all in all a bit of a fail! So itself looked clean, tidy, organised etc. Good size car park.

The best, actually almost the only, true DIY store around. I recently returned from doing up my gf's condo in Malaysia and oh how I wished they had B&Q! There's nothing to match it out there. Today I needed to match a tricky coloured emulsion and took in a tiny piece of plaster that had flaked off the wall. The very helpful assistant put it in the scanner, mixed it up and result was perfect.

Good modern B&Q with full ranges of products that are well displayed. Massive bonus is the store has a wood/ board cutting service which is free for five cuts. Means the bigger bits can fit in the car.

Decent sized B&Q. Plenty of parking. Access is not obvious so if you don't know it look at a map before you go. Found what I was after though choices were limited. Price was good though.

On arrival in the car park, a runaway display rack of bedding plants nearly hit our car as it rolled into the road. After recovering from the shock, we were delighted to find half price chrysanthemums and great value on a lined hanging basket. The store was sufficiently well-organised that we found everything we went for without difficulty. It helped that a Costa Coffee was nearby.

Bought some mixed paint had some good help from a male assistant with some good advice. I asked for a female assistant to help me which she did but made me feel like I was taking up her time as she seemed in a bit of a hurry. When I went to the check out everything was fine although it would be nice if the assistant said please when asking for payment however he did go on to say thank you at the end. The store seems very clean tidy well equipped

Sometimes diy stores can leave you overwhelmed and feeling a bit inadequate. Not so this time. We chose this branch of b&q for the timber cutting service for some shelves. Really quick and a super finish by the laser guided death star machine so shelves were cut to exact accuracy. We also needed a basic ding dong doorbell for mum and asked for help from a young woman who guided us to the correct place, she was chatty and funny. A refreshingly successful Sunday diy experience.

Its very nice place but I am not entirely satisfied with the choice of products, I wanted to buy other tiles on display, there weren't any. I cannot buy individual tiles, only in packages, I need a certain amount, what should I do with too many of them if I buy two packages instead of one and three tiles? Not logical.

Another great place to shop for home improvers, DIY enthusiasts, and trades persons. They have impressive selections of everything for practically minded shoppers, at impressively reasonable and affordable prices. Definitely NOT a rip-off outfit!

This is a great store. Every time we have been here there have been a varied selection of items as well as seasonal selections too (i.e. Christmas) and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. A noticeable improvement from when Homebase was there - no longer the slightly run down look of the store - as well as ple parking (and opposite a Costa drive through too!)

The only complaint was that there was a bit of a queue, which is not their fault hence 5 star. I dealt with Kieran and 2 others (sorry, forgot all the names). They didn't have all the answers but went looking when they didn't, which I appreciated. They did not help me load my car, but they were busy as I said. I'd go again, just not on a Saturday.
