J. L.Well B&Q has changed in the last few weeks. The last review I gave was not of a good experience but this time the staff could not have been more helpful especially Paul. He pointed in the direction of things we wanted , giving us advice. Great service. The lady in the kitchen department was also very helpful. So our experience was so much better and if this continues then we will be going again .
A. M.A lot of items are expensive for what they are, however this spans over all B&Q stores.
The staff are friendly and the shelves are kept well stocked.
I find it handy to search for the item I'm looking for online and it tells you what Isle to find your item in store.
Self service tills are available to shorten queues.

D. J.Cheerful and helpful, even if few staff about at this difficult time. Bought Good Home bathroom paint in Delaware grey, love it. Went back and bought kitchen paint in Brooklyn grey and white tile paint. Mixed a bit of the Delaware in the white for a new tile border in the bathroom. Pics attached.
P. H.Booked a kitchen design appointment via the online booking tool. The tool was straight forward to use and could see all available time slots and durations.
Upon arrival, Hayley was on hand to show all available door styles, work tops and handles. The design tool was very user friendly and helped us visualise our potential new kitchen from different angles.
There were plenty of different cabinet sizes and accessories to choose from. The B&Q range induction hob and linked extractor fan along with oven and multifunction microwave oven were a pleasant surprise providing a cost effective solution with a 5 year warranty.
The cherry on top was the no deposit 5 year interest free credit.
I can highly recommend it.
Word of advice: bring a detailed plan with dimensions of the room to help the designer to quickly put the plans together.

M. M.When for Lay-Z-Spa accessories, didn't disappoint. Had everything I wanted cheaper than could find on Amazon.
Plus had the items to hand now not delayed or rescheduled delivery time.
Should have bought hot tub lights from them too .....

Lots of choice but a few things are very expensive. They do have a lot of great idea's for revamping your home
T.Always well stocked and the staff are always happy to help, no matter how many times I've walked past the item I'm looking for! Good covid regs and big car park. It also has a secret weapon... A Burger King on-site! Open fairly late most days too which is super helpful.

T.We visited the kitchen showroom on the off chance a designer had a free slot and we were introducers to Samir, I can honestly say from start to finish Samir was an absolute pleasure to deal with, he was professional helpful and approachable, no answer was left unanswered and nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen design went well we were offers alternatives and there were lots of proposals for tricky decisions. We had another 2 design meetings with other kitchens suppliers but neither were as professional, well priced of flexible as B and Q. We were really impressed with the whole service this was mainly down to the commitment of Samir, 10/1 would recommend really great service received, thanks again Samir can’t wait to see the kitchen installed!

T. M.I've been to B&Q a few times recently after trying to catch up on some home projects. Each time I've been I've found them to be doing well at ensuring customers have plenty of space, whilst the staff seem to be continuing to be as helpful as possible. Recently helped by Max who seemed to find nothing to be too much trouble and was happy to go and find out the answers to my questions if he didn't know them himself. Free woodcutting service very helpful, again with friendly staff.

l. h.Brought lots of things from here to redo my garden. Visited 3 times recently. Tried to avoid busy times. Staff on the door friendly and easy to get along with. Only 1 staff member instore was a bit abrasive (maybe the whole 1 way thing was occasionally not followed and it annoyed her). The rest very helpful and friendly. Till service quick and the queue monitor was brilliant with a great sense of humour.

J. B.This is our local B&Q Store which we often use for some of our DIY products or even on occasions some plants or shrubs for our small garden. We have found this store to stock a variety of products but for the more specialist item they have been unable to accommodate our needs. However we are happy with all our purchases to date and are very satisfied with the end results too. The store is well stocked and maintained to a good standard. The staff are knowledgeable about their chosen product areas. They are on hand to help. The shop has a help/customer service desk where they are happy to help with all queries face to face or by phone. Check out their B&Q card can give you money off your next shop . Happy Shopping.

V. C.Went for gardening stuff, plants and compost. The heavens opened soon after I got there! So, didn't get to look properly. Seemed to be not as a good selection as in past years but I suppose it's the way things are at the moment as other retailers don't have any. The plants I bought look OK so got to plant them as soon as the rain stops!

A. C.Went in for paint the valspar paint section has so many shades you eventually get one you want. Only downside is the tester pots are a bit expensive and too big. I was only painting little squares but have loads of rather sizeable tester pots full of paint. Shopping experience felt safe people socially distancing and the store was monitoring this
B. M.If your into power tools there is never a bad time to visit. I like to go look at all the tools I dont have that would make my life easier then leave. My 5 year old likes to play with the wall of taps in the bathroom section for hours and hours and requires my direct attention for each one. Hours of fun for all the family.
A. O.Dealing with a person in the shop is way better than having to negotiate their website. There was an error with my online order which I had to go into the store for. Lynda on the returns desk was brilliant and sorted it all out for me brilliantly.

J.B&Q store I use on many occasions to purchase safety equipment ppe products and hardware products tools plus gardening materials and plants .plus use the online shopping for B&Q for ordering products like hoover for cleaning buildings materials up plus they always phone before delivery at your home. The staff are polite and helpful when help is needed.

S. P.We called in yesterday to buy tiles that our local store has run out of, and weren't very helpful at sourcing and ordering for us. The staff here went above and beyond what we expected of them, searching the warehouse, and even an off duty lady pitched in to help. Polite, helpful and courteous.

In brief: they have a good selection of wallpapers, outdoor plants, lights and light fixtures, paints (indoor and outdoor) and timber.
You can get electric fires, tools (saws, drills, lawnmowers) and even luxuries like hot tubs.
You can get sheds and little things you need to maintain your garden (i.e. seeds and pots, compost, twine, spades, trowels etc).
They offer a kitchen and bathroom design service also.
There is a trade point here, too.

s. l.This was first visit since lockdown and I was impressed with the store management to keep us all safe. Plenty of stock and the same friendly faces.
T.My husband and I went in 29th August 2018 we was looking for a metal door draught excluder size 6' 6". We asked for assistance and a very nice gentleman called Kevin came to our aid, unfortunately B&Q do not stock it. So nice to have someone that knows what stock they carries.
We then went to self service kiosk to pay for our item. The machine didn't register the item. An assistant called Safia came over to help. She was very helpful and very informative regarding The Diamond Card and the changes that are coming in. Because of Safia and the information she had given us, this led to our 3rd review.
This goes to Liam (Trade Desk) my husband was looking for a Drill. He found a Dewalt that he liked which was on offer. Unfortunately they couldn't unchain them from the shelves. Liam said that they had some more but they are up in the raking. Off he went up in a crown wave (man-up order picker) and got the Dewalt, but it wasn't the 1.5amp it was 2amp which was dearer. With the discount of The Dimond card it worked out at £35 difference. Liam was so good and very happy to help.
