Reviews of B&Q Stoke-on-Trent - Meir Park
B. A.
Absolutely ginormous warehouse of a store. Stocks everything you can think of and more. Also has self service checkouts.
T. W.
Big place, staff were helpful in pointing me in the right direction to where I needed to be. Had great fun using the barcode scanner. When dad was alive he used to walk round there during the bad weather for exercise and have a drink, happy days.
M.
Your normal large size b&q which doesn't offer delivery on any items. I was told to go to crew if I wanted delivery. Offers a wide selection of items some good some not so good but are quick to offer a refund or exchange if a problem is found.
m. m.
Customer Service woman sat playing on her phone, not at all helpful. Staff attitude has gone down hill sadly. I used to enjoy shopping here, the older staff with abit of life experience were always approachable.
D. S.
Anything diy you can get from here also kitchens and bathrooms too. Average prices considering you can find cheaper if you look around but they always have plenty of stock so not very often you come away empty handed.
R. R.
It's big and the acoustics are tremendous but the tea machine was missing
Y. H.
One of the larger B&Q stores with just that bit more choice. Prices were comparable to other DIY chains. Staff are friendly and efficient.
E. R.
Very large store loads of great items some are priced ridiculously but there are bargains to be found you just have to look, and you can get a great burger outside the entrance.
V. R.
A very large store with a good variety of products - tidy and staff were visible. Would recommend to try here if you can't find something elsewhere 👍
m. g.
For the biggest DIY chain in the UK, then if B&Q don't stock it on there shelves then your be hard pushed to find it elsewhere.
I really like this place, it's got most things you want for all those jobs around the house and all under one roof.
This store at Mier is in my opinion the in the area, it's great for parking, it's a big store with a good selection of items, great helpful and friendly staff.
I would point out, even though it's a great store and the store hours are great for getting you out of many a jam - for the bigger home projects, price up at a builders merchant just to compare prices, because you could save some well earned cash. But for most, I'd recommend this store.👍
a.
Good range of products and lots of stock however like most shops at the moment there was not enough staff and the queues were long 🙄
N. T.
Absolutely huge place!! Its that big inside I'm surprised they dont have a cafe, would take you half a day if you walked around every aisle!
If you cant get what you want from here you might aswell go home.
Not the cheapest on everything but the reduced baskets are always worth a look in, had some right bargains out of them.
K. B.
My favourite DIY shop is b&q , any of the stores as all fab helpful/caring staff
C. P.
Visited today ..asked for help from 2 gentleman store assistants, they were helpful but what a joke the till staff ..there was 1 till open with a young girl on her own ..the 2 older women were on so called self scan ..dreadful attitude it was like we were interrupting there conversation. Felt sorry fir the girl who WAS actually doing some work..
j. m.
What a treat to have a "young man" who work's in the bathroom section who worked very hard to sort out our order.
This young mad should "go far" BQ should make sure they do all tgey can to "keep" him I would employ him if not.
C. I.
Probably best selection of DIY materials in north Staffordshire and certainly the biggest DIY store by area. Prices seem to have gone quite a bit recently however which is most unwelcome.
B. C.
Got everything but you pay a little bit more for but staff great
a. a.
Great place with good friendly staff although i've recently have been using screwfix more due to it being slighty cheaper 😊
J. M.
Lovely lady served me today.
Wanted lots of gardening stuff but that section was all taped off due to ice. I would rather be safe though.
P. S.
Easy to park and get around d always have a good range of materials and tools.
K. C.
Great experience, great customer service and you are guaranteed to find what you're after.
A. W.
Friendly staff willing to help with products and everything you need for house and garden
M. T.
good shop good selection of items and very helpful staff xx
K. R.
Good store, helpful staff polite and friendly, well stocked shelves for everything you need for DIY, worth a visit
B. M.
A large store clean and pleasant, looking around the store there were some real bargains in most of the aisles.
P. J.
Nice big store, well laid out with good stock levels. but the self checkout was a bit annoying.
S. J.
Helpful staff, wide range of products, you can even have a coffee and piece of cake there in the cafe.
S. R.
I like to come to the garden centre when we do our weekly shop nearby. I nearly always come home with at least one plant. Staff are constantly watering and are knowledgeable about their products.
I wish the same were true of the DIY part of the store. They have some great people there but often it’s a struggle to find anyone who can answer your questions. For example I need to insulate my cabin, unable to glean much from their website I visited the store. They have lots of insulation, but you have to rely on what information you can glean from the product. I came away confused. 5 minutes on google got me a guide to insulation and I now know what I need. A qr code link to such a guide in store and links on the product pages of the website would be a thoughtful addition. B & Q if you’re reading this come talk to me, we do this type of thing for clients every day.
J. B.
Called in our local B&Q for some new handles for our wardrobes excellent choice reasonable price purchased exactly what we wanted
T. L. 2.
Good place but the staff need to be more helpful with helping you find what you need
G. V.
Great selection of tools and equipment. Polite staff.
J. S.
Great choice of products. A spacious and well structured store with very helpful and friendly staff.
R. M.
Can't Remember what I bought but it is a good Store !!
E. C.
Big store with helpful staff. Got a few things there. I'll be back as Arnie would say.
I. K. M. A.
Best DIY shop and nice cooperative staff
D. K.
Great service very well stored. Staff are very helpful.
m. s.
Great experience.very impressed.Big variety of stuff, beginning with back yard and finished with bedroom. All what you need for yours home in one place!
D. M.
I needed some timber cutting and it's the best place to go to get it done
G. C. 1.
Huge store this one....great staff and great product's...Happy day's 👌
S. G.
This is the biggest B&Q I have ever visited. I'm guessing if they don't stock it here, they don't sell it. Spacious. Clean. Well organised. Staff we met were helpful and friendly.
A. S.
The store is very depleted with lots of empty shelves. Not sure if this is a transport problem, Covid 19, bad management, or closing down? But I have never seen the place so empty!
M. S.
Nice clean store with very healthy looking bedding plants.
J. F.
It's a good place to shop . It has most things you need . And you can get a bargain sometimes when the sales are on .went again this afternoon . They have got a lovely range of garden furniture . And they have got some very trendy lamps and light fittings.
J. F.
The best B&Q we've used. Staff are really helpful. Butty van outside is very good too
I. P.
The usual selection of DIY products, but displayed in a very large space!
A. W.
Mostly good stuff at mostly reasonable cost. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
D. S.
Decent store. Efficient click and collect with friendly staff.
a. s.
B&Q staff are always friendly and helpful always can get what you go for and tend to come out with more. They have a clearance part and quite often you can pick up some wallpaper and paint that's been marked down as well as electrical goods occasionally
e. j.
Usual B&Q. There does seem to be a lot of low quality rubbish at B&Q but the prices don't reflect that. I tend to shop around before resorting to B&Q. I know the shower switches are of very low quality and don't last long, in fact the display switch is actually broken before it's even had power through it. I imagine it is Chinese made. 5 litres of Dulux emulsion costs £20, 2.5 litres cost £16. How does that work? It's just a rip off. Like a lot of big retailers they say they look after their customers but they are just liars. The trade discount is also very poor. Not worth bothering with.
S. S.
Did not have what i wanted . Bit disappointed really also every thing as been moved round so i felt a bit lost.
P. D.
In to find suitable bathroom for extention. Staff were on the whole helpful
G. D.
Hard to find a member of staff sometimes but generally has everything I need.
P. P.
Went for garden chair cushions to match one's already purchased with garden set purchased from b & q at festival Park 2 years ago. We did manage to purchase cushions instead because it didn't appear that you could purchase the original seat cushions separately from the chairs. A shame really. We were pleased with what we bought instead as they are in the same colour. The shelves in the garden furniture appeared to be a bit bare of stock not sure whether it's due to goods not getting to supplier's or people buying the items. Definitely recommend this store.
C. M.
A big shop. Needs more signage of where things are or you spend about 20 minutes walking from 1 end to the other. Seems disabled friendly enough just lots of walking. Maybe some seating would be good for those who struggle to walk like myself.
A.
One stop shop for DIY and garden. I went in with a random list of items for both and found everything I needed. You can also use their website and check if it's in stock and even the aisle your item is on. There's also click and collect available. I've recently been in store and used click and collect and would recommend either.
K. E.
I like this store, staff always helpful. I have always found what I need, apart from today. I am looking for beeswax furniture polish. But as I say, this is the second house we have refurbished and most of what we need comes from B&Q Meir. On the whole excellent.
J. M.
I love going around the plants for indoor and out. They are gorgeous and if I had the money I'd buy one of everything. When we are decorating I love to look at all the different colours of paint and how they match the colour you already have, brilliant
N. A.
Stock can be a bit lacking sometimes. Not always easy to find what you want and staff always seem to be "from another section " or just not around.
C. K.
Virtually everything you need for D I Y and gardening. All on one floor so wheelchair friendly. Disabled parking just outside. If you fancy a coffee and snack the cafe should be open soon. Or the van outside sells hot food from a bacon/ sausage butty to burgers and hot drinks..
C. D.
Opens at 0700 which is good for the early morning grab before you start your first job.. Staff can be a little hard to find if you need help with anything but to be fair I have found that in almost all hardware stores nowadays.. car park is huge which again is a plus
F. A.
They have a huge variety of stuff here. On the downside. This store is only good if you're going in, their calling system is so poor. No one answers regardless how long you try calling for, or they've even put the phone down when it eventually does get answered. The phone call side of the company needs massive improvement other than that theyre really good.
J. B.
It's B&Q. However, well spaced and actually nice to shop there! Burger van smells good!
C. W.
Shop is ok but toilets are now staff only except for 1 disabled toilet. Very bad for such a big store
K. R.
Wide range of goods and 20% off plamts
C. P.
It is a huge B&Q store. Need I say more?
Ok then, I will.
Lynn & I loved it. We needed plumbing stuff to resolve a leak from a split pipe & found everything we wanted with the guidance of knowledgeable staff. Thank Q
J. E. M.
Can get everything you need for DIY.
G. G.
Had to return a wrongly bought item. Handled very efficiently. Then bought shelf for kitchen cupboard but measured in imperial inches not metric. Lovely man measured the shelf, then told me the correct measurements in metric.
S. S.
Good supportive staffs and massive stock
M. F.
Got everything you need for the DIY person's
T. n.
As per 'the old normal', B & Q was same old same old, the usual stock some good some not, just enough people pottering to make you think we were back in 2019 🤪, when we knew what to expect each day we wake up, as with all other shops all the aisles have been widened so there is no longer the variety there used to be, but yet again I managed to get what I wanted and loads more I didnt know I needed, also it was my first trip out in nearly a year, Yahoo and keep safe everyone
P. J.
Everything you need but price of everything has gone up a lot 💯
c. d.
last of the DIY stores but gives well priced products
S.
It's B&Q. got what I needed. Some staff knowledgable others useless. It is what it is.
C. S.
Came for a quote for a new kitchen. Very disapointed to find you don,t do white cupboard doors in wood. I don,t want mdf or plastic which is all you have to offer. Unfortunatly we will have to go somewhere else for our kitchen. On the plus side, your sales assistant was lovely.
m. c.
large car park, helpful staff and fair prices
J. B.
Bought 2 wood sheets, both are good quality. Staff are nice, very polite.
d. m.
Two members of staff were very helpful so thank you to them 😊 sorted a new barrel out for my front door
T. O.
Although B & Q's Internet site drives me crazy the Meir Park store is very good. Plenty of car parking space.
Social distancing is in place with helpful, friendly staff guiding you through. There is ample room in the store to comply with the social distancing and plenty of products to browse and choose from. There is a cafe space available.
The payment tills are approached through guiding aisles and exit to the car park away from entrance, so again ample of distancing space.
Let's hope that soon we can get back to normal shopping without the need for the distancing.
C. G.
Very good store overall. We wanted a piece of wood cutting but that service wasn't operating which was a shame so we had to leave it. Very good burger stall outside store, delicious would highly recommend it, worth a visit just for this!
G. E.
shop, plenty of room. Offers as you walk in displayed, have always had everything I have been for. Very helpful staff too.
S. J.
Staff always friendly and will look for items if not displayed.
Lovely lady works in garden department.
Has knowledge about plants and care of them.👍🌻
c. j.
Everything you require to modernise and update any room at very competitive prices
d. s.
Excellent service from the lady who helped us with our kitchen query i wish i got her name, we needed a small addition to our kitchen, once explained she knew exactly what we required got it order and explained everything, great sevice only down side was that as we didnt order a lot b and q couldnt fit it. Never mind.
L. h.
Very good place for bargains xx
J. W.
Come into the store today my first time visiting and wow what a massive store it is everything on show and presentation is amazing, all the staff were very helpful especially Liam off building I could see he was very busy working hard but he stopped and helped me the best he could with the decking I needed and helped me load them onto the trolley and then into my car. What a polite young man he was the manager off this store should be so proud off him and the work he does helping customers and having a good knowledge about the stock once again thank you B&Q especially Liam👍🏽👍🏽
G. W.
I needed lining paper and wall paper paste. They had both. Winning at life, 3 stars.
M. P.
Wickes is cheaper, they deliver for free (over a certain amount and you can buy and collect 50 items and have 1 £10 item delivered if you order it at the same time as your collection items, B&Q on the other hand charge you a fortune for delivery on stuff... But its more local and they have a saw mill to cut some wood down, each have there own plus sides, but if you can use Wickes, do so!
N. H.
Everything I needed I got, clean place and friendly staff
A. C.
Pretty good selection of items. I've only occasionally had to go hunting on line for things they didn't have. Staff have been friendly and helpful when needed.
S. G.
Don't usually leave reviews but we visited the store on the 29/10/20 and the tills were playing up but Angela was so friendly and nice that it really made our visit. She was great!
R. M.
Today, my family and I visited the store for some tiles and I was served by a lovely man called James. He was very attentive, patient, informative and efficient. He made our visit very easy for us and although, his department appeared to be short staffed, he went above and beyond to help. He’s a credit to the store. The tiles were also great value for money and amazing quality! We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you again, James!
S. H.
Friendly staff not too keen on self service though
I. L.
Did click and collect was in and out within 30 seconds
P. B.
This store is far better than the one at festival Park. The layout is is better and more things are on show rather than on shelves in boxes. One big problem we had though was when we had to return a home delivery order. It took 10 days and many phone calls to get our money back.
W. C.
There's a good selection of products here for most DIY and building work. Staff are friendly and helpful with a good knowledge to help you get the best items for your needs.
P. C.
Love this store and the burger van out side
w. t.
Just been earlier and got everything I wanted and a bit more lol. I felt perfectly safe whilst shopping everyone was spaced out with no crowds, staff were wonderful and helpful as usual well done to all staff
R. B.
I couldn't even buy a 13 amp fuse, and the only work trousers avaliable were for people who are 6ft tall
M. D.
It's a DIY shop what do you expect?
e. z.
At the moment like a lot of places it's under stocked
L. b.
I wanted a strummer but wasn't sure what I was looking for so I asked for assistance so phil explained what they were and was really helpful to find the one I wanted do want to say thank u for the help and the product was brill .
m.
Absolutely everything you need, for home DIY or for traders, to purchase materials. Also there is always a bargain to he grabbed here. Especially with the lazy spas. And accessories for it. Loads for the kids too, lots of outdoor toys that are great fun, for us adults too. Been coming here for a very long time. And never fails to never have what I want, or need. Excellent Staff, very polite and always so willing to help. As it is HUGE.....
C. C.
Service was fast and efficient. Loved the dahlias but they really do need to take more care of them and water more frequently. Very disappointed that the toilets were not open. We had travelled from Stafford and they were desperately needed
T. B.
I find it very dangerous going to B&Q because there are sooo many power tools and bits and bobs that you need more than life itself, sorry getting all excited then. If your going make a list of what you need and stick to it. Don't let the lure of new power tools persuade you. Nice...
P.
Well laid out with sanitising stations throughout and everyone sticking to the rules. Lot of cars on carpark but not many people inside. Prices very good and good choice of items.
L. B.
Great supplies for any job or task
D. C. S.
Big place, lots of different items in stock. Found what I needed, but had to be on the furthest aisle from the entrance 😄 Straightforward place to get to & park
R. L.
Given the pandemic, avoiding crowds etc, they still offered good customer service (I had an exchange) with the minimum of fuss and delay. Agents were helpful and efficient.
i. t.
Needed some foam pipe to lag some water, pipes, I walked in the store and it is huge, I had turned my ankle over a day earlier so did not fancy, walking all over the store, so I asked an assistant, and she said Isle 23,went to the Isle and got exactly what I needed, great service, highly recommended
B. H.
Very big store with lots of parking facilities. I went to buy an indoor plant and was very satisfied with the price and quality of the product I chose. I visited at a quiet time so there were lots of staff around to ask for help. The store has a little coffee shop where you can sit and have refreshments.
E. C.
Great store, running very low on timber at the moment, but there's a virus going on. It's been a big help that they managed to keep the place open. Well done everyone who works for B&Q.
M. S.
Very helpful staff would recommend
N. H.
Difficult to get to and leave via a very dangerous junction back towards Meir and Longtonn. Staff helpful but had to go to the local Tesco to use the toilet as we were told that the one in B&Q was closed due to COVID-19. Very strange the B&Q in Crewe where we had been first before Meir had their toilets open so must have been a local closure and not a company instruction.
S. E.
Needed parts for kitchen tap went to local plum center no help at all. So went B Q Mier I asked a man who works there very helpful took me to the parts I needed and spent the time to make sure I had the right. Excellent service 👍👍
S. T.
Great, 1st time since lock down, didn't have to wait very long at all. The colleagues I met were very welcoming and organised. Lovely experience and 😊 It just felt like a normal times
l. O.
Very helpful staff the item I wanted to purchase was heavy so staff got it for me ,carried it out and put it into my car for me
G. C.
Easy to get to , unfortunately not enough stock of the item I wanted . However the sales assistant was very helpful , checking other sites for availability and ringing another store to reserve.
T. B.
large car park and a good sized stores with most items you could need, staff have always been friendly.
P. F.
Huge store, you're very likely to find what you're looking for with the amazing friendly staff that know where everything is like the back of their hand. Definitely a bonus that they offer wheelchairs for people unable to walk long distances/not at all. If you have kids you could probably just take them there instead of a play place. Could spend hours in here looking at all the items without realising .
B. L.
Overpriced but the staff are golden
c. h.
Seems to have more in than other local b and q
g. t.
Always find what you want in there.😊👍 Friendly staff as well
K. B.
Hadn't got what we needed.
Same again not what we wanted
a. e.
All good no pansies though
t. m.
Lady on the door today super friendly 🥰, went yesterday but everyone was everywhere not adhering to social distancing when you can clearly tell the staff had spent ages setting everywhere out. Other than that got everything needed and staff very helpful.
S. S.
Safest place I've visited in lockdown. Plenty of staff making sure all adhere to rules & sanitizer stations all around the store. Well done B & Q!
A. B.
Found what I wanted quite easily. No queue at till. Very quick trip.
l. H.
Julie who works there took quite a bit of time helping me work out a kitchen design on the computer and was really helpful.
S. H.
Click and collect or just browse, plenty of premium and value products, especially for the trade but also great for the DIY have a goers.
M. R.
Excellent store got very sound advice from staff and purchased everything I needed
O. P.
Great place ,great range of stuff
D. M.
Great team here at Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent. Claire, first contact via phone was so friendly and helpful - Then Ian from Gardening.. nothing was too much trouble! A product was located, reserved and then carried to my car. Thank you for such wonderful service ... with a smile! :)
D. A.
Part of the Kingfisher group, use Csrewfix instead, part of the same group but a lot cheaper.
Good for browsing, useful for emergency needs.
T. T.
It was fine ,I hot what I needed ,plants etc for my brothers grave it wasnt too busy ,we got served quickly , masks were worn ,social distancing was good.
A. R.
Having seen the Blooma Neva fencing online, I popped to the store to make a purchase.
It was the first time I had been to Meir Park. First impressions were that it’s huge. By far the biggest BandQ I’ve ever seen.
Inside everything looked great at I browsed through to the outside section. Upon reaching my desired fencing, I began to take what I needed from the shelves.
It was absolutely disgusting. Almost every one of the items I needed were damaged in some way. Either. Badly scratched dented or rusty. I only just managed to scrape together what I needed.
As a member of staff walked past me I commented and showed them all the damaged items, and asked him why it’s all so badly damaged.
His answer astonished me, as he simply said that’s just how it is. I asked how they manage to sell any of it, and who would buy such damaged fencing. He didn’t care in the slightest.
When I got to the till, a lady in front of me was asking if there were any more of the plants she had in her trolley,as the ones she had were in a bad condition. They were from outside, and she informed the cashier about the state of a lot of the plants outside.
Again the cashier didn’t care.
Who is managing this store? Why is it in such a bad condition outside? Inside seems great, outside is in a bad way when you look closely.
Sort it out B&Q it’s getting close to summer and I plan to make my garden nice.
S. T.
Distancing and sanitation well managed. Helpful staff when we needed to return items. Prices mostly competitive, especially the garden centre.
M. G.
Lovely plants and very helpful staff who helped me get things as I use an arm crutch and can't lift .
S. P.
Huge store. Went looking for a jet washer, got what I wanted. Tills were slow, so the queue to pay was very long.
P. B.
Massive place with a massive product range. Online stock check system by store is brilliant. Saves a lot of wasted time. Place itself is a tad impersonal.
J. F.
A great place to purchase all your DIY essentials and some very nice plants in their garden centre
R. G.
Big store
It has everything you need and is easy to get in and out of right onntje a50
B. S.
Great for all your DIY needs. Nice and friendly staff. Would recommend if it's groceries your looking for.
A. S.
Also COVID 19 special.
Distancing guidelines adhered to.
Great customer service and directions with respect to how to navigate the store to achieve maximum distancing.
Free carpark available also.
In all, would recommend for shopping.
J. u.
Very good 👍the only thing please slow traffic going past entrance, glad I didn't have children, the cars where racing on the road passed the entrance
I. H.
Biggest DIY store this side of the planet I'm guessing. Dress for a week chaps and chapettes, lots of tools etc.
M.
Good store, great products and prices. Just one thing, staff need to know more about place they work in, been looking for one thing and they couldn't help me at all, didn't even tried to. After 30min looking around one man told me exactly where i can find my product, really nice guy! Cheers
s. r.
Staff can be helpful and lots of choice of items.
P. H.
Purchased a kitchen today and special thanks needs to go to Megan and Jack who went that extra mile well done and thankyou
M. E.
If you want a paint that matches the colour charts try the valspar range because the others don't match, even the samples
C. N.
Disappointed at the condition of a lot of the plants for sale, looked very sorry for themselves, very dry and dead heads. In the end rescued some from clearance and to be quite honest they were not much worse than the full price. Popped to Aldi AFTER, lovely plants at a third of B&Q prices, must be recent arrivals as not many supermarkets seem to water them. Would expect more care from B&Q though as it is supposed to have a garden centre. Sorry B&Q for this review but that's how I found things today.
G. C.
Brilliant, always find whatever we are after.
J. P.
Been meaning to post this review for years and so sorry it's only now I'm doing it. I'm a kitchen fitter and I've followed Richard cartridge across a few stores because he is very professional and will always look after tradesman and deal with any problems swiftly. I recommend him more than the b and q store and advise any fitter from anywhere to go through the his stores as I've had so many problems with everyone else. I actually got bullied into using northwich b and q and I've never known anything like it, really bad ill educated in there field and also no accountability what so ever. Steer clear, see rich at me if park
J. A.
Most helpful staff. The male asst.who works Wednesdays and some weekends, collected what we wanted as well as loading the car. We were so grateful and impressed with everything, from start to finish!
N. B.
Plenty of parking. Helps a lot on a busy weekend.
Glad to see the self service tills back
S. D.
Well went to get top soil and a 3ft florescent tube . Hadn't got either so I had to buy a complete light unit . Which is way more than a tube and isn't as green For the plant . Other than that it was ok
R. J.
Huge! One of largest if not the largest in the local area. You need to do some diy, then you are most likely going to find what you need here. Friendly helpful staff. Prices can be slightly more expensive compared to other specialised merchants however it makes up with its convenience
S. o.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have everything you need. The tradepoint is great for cheaper screws, fixings and odd bits that cost lots on the shop floor.
C. G.
It's a shed. Sadly, it now seems to be that families (with grandparents) go for a fun-filled Sunday afternoon trip. Simply heaving with people all looking vacantly but not buying !
C. H.
Struggling to get a few things recently but I suppose that's just how things are at the moment
D. W.
The best store I've been to. Staff are so helpful. Burger van outside is amazing.
P. S.
Did Click and Collect. Straight forward and easy collection. Staff were polite and friendly
W. B.
It's ok here. Everything is spaced out so there's plenty of room for social distancing. There's still lots of choice though.
S. L.
Large store. Well stocked and laid out. Visited again last weekend was served by an ignorant girl, too busy chatting to her colleague about his slow till. She barely acknowledged our existence.

Outdoor area facilitates garden DIY including seasonal plants, gardening tools and furniture, lighting etc Small selection indoor plants from small to large. Very nice, clean toilet facilities and a small cafe to tantalise your nostrils as you roam through the isles.
C. B.

N. C. P.
Covid19 measures in full effect for click n collect. Although, I couldn't find the way out in the one way system and had to ask. More me than them I think. 😂
S. W.
Really well organised felt very safe whilst shopping there, directions on floor for flow, busy areas marshalled by staff so not overcrowded,,Well done B&Q.
P. B.
B and Q is ok but some of there prices are a bit high bought a full bathroom and kitchen tops and taps and sink,
The kitchen tops and bath arrived damaged and had to go back, on the third attempt the bath arrived undamaged.
Customer service was ok but contacting the manager was impossible.
It all turned out ok in the end but the plumber was not happy.
t. p.
I could not find something I wanted and a lady member of staff was very helpful and she did not give in until we had found my product.
W. H.
Garden centre. Very well organised. Lady at checkout very friendly. 2 young men from Scope charity promoting their lottery on exit were concerned for my welfare as I am disabled and offered to help me.

Extremely helpful with an issue I had, and got it sorted really quickly.
M. J.
Always have stock, very little queuing outside. The only issue is Covid one way system inside the store, a bit awkward to navigate.
J. H.
Friendly staff, massive car park. Got most things. Not the cheapest place to go but the most convenient. Better going in the week as not as busy as weekends.
l. p.

There seems to be a stock shortage at the moment which is a shame, as we've had to find the items we need from other retailers.
P. E.
Good sized car park, nice clean and well lit store, staff helpful and friendly, some good offers on, and good selection of building goods, as well as wallpaper and paint, and good displays of bathrooms and kitchens, could do with a few more staff at busy times.
A. S.
I could spend hours in there (and usually do) brilliant selection of tools and materials for DIY. The garden however does lack plants!

There's not much that you can't get from B & Q Meir Park.
