limited selection due to being a smaller shop but always helpful and friendly. we should all support local shops such as this. i recently went forna saw vlade and got 3 for less than i would have paid for one at the larger stores. if they dont have what you need, to they can get it quickly. will certainly be coming back.

Used penkhull hardware a few times great lads very helpful in fact more than helpful.. I went in Friday asked for some sandpaper too rub filler down on van tez the chap there said needed be electric sanded. Within two minutes he had me an extension lead plugged in and lent me a a sander so I could do it outside the shop I was very greatful you won't get service like that again anywhere. Thankyou very much 👍

Great place prices are bit high for some if the stuff but other than that seems good place to go

Friendly , handy store. Finally able to get some gas for caravan here. Not able to get any for 18 months and local store comes to my rescue. It will be Flo Gas for me in the future. Calor......hang your head in shame. Don't know how Calor are still trading. Help keep these hardware stores trading. We will be all the poorer if they disappear ! Beware sat nav post code takes you to the Post Office. Hardware store is on corner of street.

Always go to Penkhull Hardware first, great range of DIY items stocked, good prices, a no hassle shop. If you cannot see what you want, ask, the staff are very good. Also they still sell paraffin by what ever you want, measured using a tap and jug.

My kind of place. Everything you would need for diy plumbing, joinery, ironmongery, etc... whatever I need - I always find it there, and there's always an option to by in bulk or just the few I need. My first point of call for any diy project.

Always have what you need here and know where stuff is that you can’t initially find, Very handy shop & definitely an asset to the area of Penkhull

It’s a basic neighbourhood hardware store. I found what I was looking for— a plastic sleeve for my key, so I can identify which one is for which door. Otherwise no frills.

Expensive for we hardware store - bit if you need something ranging from wood to screws or compost to bird feed this shop probably has it - just make sure you are prepared to pay well over the odds!!
