Best place to get your keys cut, these guys have managed to do what most other can not incl the big shops. They sell a range of different products which are hard to find elsewhere and all at a decent price! Smallish shop but a lot to offer! This along with the friendly service always recieved makes it my No1 hardware store in York

I've yet to find an odd item / tool I've needed that they don't have.. Yes, it's a nice little shop with a great deal squeezed in.. Staff know where everything is, and even better, what's best for the job. I've repaired everything from a burst pipe (needed parts quickly), to a friend's £1000 plus coffee machine that was in need of weird size o'rings.. The place is just great.

Can't praise Paul at Caboodle enough. I'm a window cleaner and was locked out of my van, Paul came straight away fixed it and also provided me with a new key fob. All very reasonably priced. Can't fault him or Caboodle. Top marks!

Brilliant service, I rang up in advance and discussed my broken car key and was quoted a price to fix it much cheaper than the dealer. Just been to Caboodle with a van key I was having problems with . Was told I needed a replacement key elsewhere before they even looked at it . This guy was spot on and adjusted the inside of the key for a very fair price . He could have had my pants down and said the same as the other place and I would have known no difference . I had a problem with a Toyota key. The "unlock" button had dropped to bits. It worked fine if I shorted the contacts with the end of a paper clip, but I thought maybe a properly-working key would be good. One new switch and a switch cover later it was fine, at a very decent price. Two years later the "lock" button stopped working. 10 minutes at Caboodle and yet again the key works. Maybe I should get a new car before anything else drops to bits...
