Shocking to read such reviews, even those that believe they are actually making a valid point about cleanliness and the the fact they don't answer phones here (what a shame kids)🙄 the services are free you tards! What the f do you expect for your free services! Most countries don't have free service, and others are far worse funded and definitely less clean! I am here with my Partner as I write this and I can tell you that the midwife's have been fantastic 👌 they have fed and watered my partner and really, nothing to much to ask! But then again, if had nothing better to do with my time I may suggest that the service is poor! Thankfully, I am a business owner myself and know what proper services are! Well done so far Birmingham Women's hospital! We should all be a little more grateful! most on here complaining maybe couldn't even change a light bulb without their hand being held. There will also be genuine complaints and concerns and I suppose that may depend on the people and the time? However, some reviews are clearly self entitled p....s

Just want to say a big Thank You to all the staff at this hospital. You just can't ask for more, my partner had the baby one week ago and all the staff was amazing. They really looked after my fiancee which is not an easy thing to do with a woman in labour. They gave us a lot of tips and tricks which are very helpful since we parents for the very first time.
The entire experience made us feel much more confident than we were, like I said, you can't ask for more.
Thank you so much.

I had an appointment at the early pregnancy unit today and every staff I met was professional, patient with me and assuring.

Had to go into pregnancy triage. Luckily husband was allowed in with me on this occasion as I was really nervous. Nurses and doctors were lovely and reassuring. However, I had to wait unnecessarily for few hours in the waiting area because they didn't know where I was, I wasn't told that I should wait in the consultation room. This was my 1st trip to Triage. Also, all women should be allowed to bring one partner in with them to triage regardless. Being pregnant is stressful enough, but having anxiety of visiting hospital is stressful too for women. Home testing covid kits have been made for a reason, but Birmingham Women's are not taking good advantage of them. Triage needs to think about a women's emotional health too by putting a practical policy of letting support partner come in. NHS boasts about Mental health but are lacking in support practically. Its been over a year with this pandemic and we will have to live with it, but a women's emotional health and anxiety is important too.

I've had 2 scans so far at BWH. I love going there because the midwives I've dealt with are so nice and friendly. You can see their passion. I think it has the best maternity unit in the country.
