I had both my lower wisdom teeth removed (on 2 separate occasions) I was seen by Mr Evans and his lovely assistant. Mr Evans was absolutely fantastic, made me feel calm and relaxed about the procedure and he was a genuinely lovely chap. The procedure was done within no time at all and without problem. I would highly recommend Mr Evans and his team at the Westbourne Centre

An unforgettable and life-changing experience. Having suffered with an aesthetically unpleasant scar for over 20 years, I lost my case against the NHS for corrective surgery, and I was refused by two other surgeries being told that my scar could not be corrected, would be too difficult or too risky. I had my first consultation with Mr Nishikawa, arranged by his extremely warm and welcoming assistant Anja. My first consultation was professional, friendly and pleasant. Mr Nishikawa took the time to listen to my concerns, he studied my scar and gave me the comfort that I needed. Having researched he came back to me and we met again and decided a way forward. I chose my surgery date working with Anja on availability, and before I knew it I underwent the knife. The surgery took place at their premises in Edgbaston and I was under sedation; all of the staff were lovely and friendly / cracking jokes and made me feel at ease. Following the surgery, I could not be happier with my result, the time taken to help me and the extremely sincere care from the surgeon. I have now had my post op check up and 8 weeks on I am extremely pleased with my results and I know my surgeon is equally pleased. For background, I had a very difficult horizontal, tethered scar across my abdomen. I was aware that my scar was stuck to my rib and it caused me great confidence issues, not just with my appearance but in my approach to others around me!! Absolute 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend Mr Nishikawa and I would highly recommend this practice. Can’t thank them enough for changing my life, when it seemed everyone else refused help! I was referred to Westbourne for a scar revision and a removal of a lipoma. I saw Dr Nishikawa and I can't praise him enough. He was absolutely amazing, he took great care of me and I recommend him to anyone. His secretary Anja has been so helpful and easy to contact through out my time with the centre. All the staff at Westbourne have been respectful, professional, warm and welcoming. Couldn't be happier with the results of my procedures. Probably the best dentist in the UK! this is coming from someone whos had the worst dental experience from previous places, the stuff iv'e been through with dodgy root canals and 2/3 hour extractions. I was nervous! But this dentist (i dont even know his name thats how nervous i was i was in my own zone) he explained beautifully what will happen, very calm very polite (from the consultation to the extraction), relaxes you, explains everything to you properly! He took my tooth out within 30s to a 1 minute i think. ( i was in shock i thought something went wrong, little did i know the tooth was out!) Assistant is extremely polite and caring. Whoever is double thinking a extraction from here do not hesitate. Absoloute legends!!

I came for a minor skin operation that I had been desperate to get done for so long. Dr. Manu quickly arranged for the procedure to be done as soon as I was referred to the Westbourne centre, and while there were delays (due to Covid-19) the staff were amazing throughout at communicating with me and keeping me informed. Easy to find, quick and efficient check in. When further surgery was needed (wisdom tooth extraction), I was invited back an treated within 24 hours. I have attended Westbourne on two occasions (Feb & March) this year. On both occasions Mr Malahias was my surgeon. On each visit I was put at ease and fully informed at every stage of the procedure. Mr Malahias is very kind and caring and his empathy with patients runs through his team. You can clearly see a close knit team who work as one like a well oiled machine. I cannot thank Mr Malahias and his team enough for the outstanding care and compassion they showed me.

Excellent private hospital that also does general surgery for the NHS. I came across the Westbourne Centre when researching surgery lead times for an umbilical hernia on the NHS website. They were the only hospital with a green tick for wait times (up to 15 weeks) instead of a red exclamation mark within a 30 mile radius of where I live (Worcester). Most others were in excess of 12 months. I was 50/50 on whether to pay for private surgery or use the NHS (the Westbourne Centre do both) and being rather sceptical, I called them up and asked if the NHS lead time was true. The NHS coordinator said they adhered to the NHS standards of a maximum 16 weeks from referral to surgery. She told me which consultant (Mr Khaira) had the most surgery time planned for my issue and therefore would be the best to request to be referred to by my GP to make sure I was dealt with promptly. She also gave me provisional consultation and surgery dates that were within the next 6 weeks. All I can say is, they kept all their promises and I was operated on within 5 weeks of seeing my GP. Mr Khaira was excellent. I have had treatment and surgery in private hospitals across the world and the Westbourne Centre in general and the receptionists/coordinators in particular are as good as anyone. This level of service on the NHS is superb!

I am a very anxious dental patient and I was referred here from my regular dentist. I cannot thank Dr McMillan and the dental nurse enough. They were patient and understanding and went through everything step by step to offer me reassurance. The Covid19 measures in place were also re-assuring. They have a one way system, reduce people waiting inside, temperature checks and covid questionnaire to ensure you are safe to be at your appointment. I personally found it hard to find the building, however when I phoned to advise I was lost and worried about being late, I again was reassured everything was fine, my appointment would wait and directions were given.

Came for and emergency wisdom tooth extraction through NHS 111 after waiting a week. I'm from America and I've been 2 a few dentist in this country and they always seemed second rate to me. Some seem to just be in it few a few pounds or lack proper training or proper communication skills.. These guys are different.. I was greeted with a nice smile, pleasant demeanor and they addressed all my concerns, explained the procedure and put me at ease. I even read the reviews but for the most part the bad ones seemed to be lack of understanding. I believe the guy name was Dr. Richardson but I'm not sure but he was really cool.. After about a week I came back with concerns over the healing process and seen Dr. Evans I think.. He put my additional concerns at ease and was also very helpful and pleasant.. If I ever need a dentist while I'm in this country I will not see anyone else

Five star service from start to finish. The kindness and support I received began with Korin Hennesy on reception. She helped me to relax before and during an intensive Mohs surgery to my nose. Dr Rajpar, Jo the nurse and another lovely surgeon (sadly I didn't catch his name) talked me through a skin cancer removal and reconstruction. I can not speak highly enough of this amazing team. Their professional but empathic approach shone through from the moment I walked through the door. I can not thank each one of them enough for their kindness and support in what has been a challenging few weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to drive 2hrs to Birmingham revisit the Westbourne Centre.

I recently attended the Westbourne Centre for a tooth extraction with Mr Evans. The first of my three visits was brief. I had a dental x ray, followed by me explaining the issues I had encountered and what could be done to resolve it. I was reassured my other oral issues were linked to my wisdom tooth being impacted, and that he could resolve this for me, no problem. Whilst waiting for a letter to confirm the details of my surgery (just over a week), I thought I’d pop into the centre to see if I could get a cancellation slot or anything sooner. Reception kindly found an available slot for the following week. Extraction day. Mr Evans could tell I was really nervous but again, he reassured me it would be fine, done in 20 minutes and made a couple of jokes to lighten the mood. To my delight, the tooth was out in around 15 minutes (I timed it) and I felt no pain at all. I was given advice for after treatment and I was out. No problem. Ten days later, I had my final consultation regarding the extraction. I was very happy with the surgery and aftercare received from Mr Evans (still no pain). I will be returning to Mr Evans to have a Salivary gland stone under my tongue removed. I'd like to thank all the staff at the centre for ensuring I had a pleasant experience.

I had breast augmentation in October of last year with Effie and the whole process from initial consultation to after care has been exceptional. All of the staff from receptionists to surgical team are so friendly and professional and made me feel completely at ease. I loved the fact I could get the results I longed for without general anaesthetic!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the clinic to anyone, my only regret is that I didn’t find the centre sooner!!! I have seen many positive reviews for this place but be warned that it is hard to find. I think the information leaflet should be redrafted to give very explicit instructions. We spotted the sign pointing to "The Westbourne Centre" quite easily but then drove round in circles trying to find the narrow, wooded entrance. In the end we had to telephone the centre for final directions. Visitors should allow extra time to allow for this. If you are attending Cavendish Imaging be sure to make that clear at the ground floor reception desk. After I had been directed upstairs to imaging there were no staff in sight so I had to ring the Imaging number. The member of staff who oversaw my scan was pleasant but slightly brusque. The images were clear from the first take. Avoid wearing earrings or necklaces as you will have to remove them for a head scan.

From the first point of contact to my final follow up appointment the service offerred has been outstanding. I had considered having a breast procedure for many years, however the thought of general anaesthesia did not appeal to me at all. I was unaware that a combination of local anaesthesia and sedation was available for bigger surgeries. Following a recomendation I contacted Mrs Effie Katerinaki. I found her to be honest, realistic and certainly not a sales person, she offered only a true impression of what to expect if I was to go ahead with the procedure, therefore my decision to go ahead was totally my own. Before surgery a realistic post-op care plan was designed, Effie considered all areas of my life and left no stone unturned, this enabled me to pre plan my recovery. On the day of surgery the team all introduced themselves and were very friendly, there was minimal waiting around -for which I was greatful. The local anesthesia and sedation was perfected, I felt only the inital injections of local and was sedated into a relaxed but lucid state, the operation seemed to be over in no time.Everyone I have spoken to is shocked that i was not asleep and that I was walking out the doors within an 2 hours of surgery to go home. My recovery was relatively pain free and I returned to work within 2 weeks. Follow up appointments were infortive, advice was given to achieve optimum healing results. At my last follow up I expressed my gratitude to Effie, for such a smooth chain of events during the processes of going ahead with such a big decision. I am so pleased that I went ahead, and only wish I had done sooner. My scarring is minimal and faded after 7 months, pains in my shoulders have reduced and I feel more confident.Every case is different, but my experience was positive and I would certainly recommend considering Effie and the team for breast procedures.

What an incredibly positive experience I've had... one of those that starts the very moment one walks through the door of a 'BRAND NEW LIFE'! At the beginning of the year I made the decision to treat myself to a greatly desired and much anticipated, Tummy Tuck ... and a spot of Lipo! As one should, I did my homework well! I took a year to find out about the best Surgeons in the country, got recommendations from friends who are Aesthetic practitioners, had consultations with 3 different Surgeons and finally got advice from a prominent Aesthetic Surgeon, who recommended Mr Fatah. Not being entirely happy with the Surgeons I had seen, I took that advice and made an appointment to see Mr Fatah. I felt very much at ease with the gentleman and confident in the knowledge that he is one of the top Surgeons in his field. Together we agreed on the surgery required and my exciting journey began. From that point on, I received service par excellence. Every single person at the Westbourne, from the ladies on reception, to the highly skilled surgical team & medical practioners, is so kind professional and dedicated to making one's experience both positive and amazing. I had my very special surgery at the end of September 2018 and can honestly say it was an incredibly positive experience... the best 'gift' I could ever have given myself. After surgery, I experienced absolutely no pain, had only minor discomfort and was able to walk out of the centre, unaided, within a few hours of having the surgery. I stayed over in the area & went back the following day for a check up by senior nurse, Karen, who is an absolute Angel, before returning home to recuperate. It's now six weeks on and I'm feeling amazing and totally thrilled with the results! Don't be concerned about not staying over in hospital, the Westbourne's aftercare is incredible! They're always available to their patients, be it to carry out as many physical checkups as required, or take phonecalls to discuss any concerns one may have. Ladies, if you are thinking about having a similar procedure to mine, go for it... spoil yourselves... you won't be sorry! Honestly, I can't recommend The Westbourne Centre and it's incredible practitioners highly enough. I'm so grateful to them all and just love the 'new me'!

I had surgery April 2015, I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about surgery to visit here. It is an extremely professional centre which doesn't have that hospital feel to it. The staff reassured me all the way through, I did feel quite anxious before the surgery but all they could do was help calm my nerves. I had my procedure under local with sedation and could not remember a thing throughout. I was able to go home around an hour after to recover at home which was amazing as I just wanted to be in my own environment. Thank you Westbourne Centre.

I attended the Westbourne Centre on Tuesday 22nd September 2020 for a Biopsy performed by Consultant Dermatological Surgeon Dr Sajjad Rajpar MBChB (Hons) FRCP. The Centre is Covid safe as far as I can tell and you are asked to wait in your car until a call on your mobile summons you into the building and your appointment. This is administered by very professional and friendly staff who make sure you are following the anti-virus precautions before you see the Consultant of your choice. This was my 3rd visit to see Dr Rajpar who greets you like an old friend and puts you at ease straight away. I have him to thank for diagnosing an early Melanoma before it got into my system and a rapid referral to the QE Hospital for further treatment. This recent visit was a follow up and low and behold he found another suspect lesion on my back that I was not aware off which was cut out for analysis. What I like about Dr Rajpar, he is completely up front with the diagnosis your options, treatment and survival rate with regard to Melanoma. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Rajpar to anyone who has a suspect mole or other skin condition as it could save your life if found early as in my case. Please convey my grateful thanks to Dr Rajpar his Nursing Sister and the Westbourne Centre for their excellent service and treatment.

I have had 3 procedures at the Westbourne Centre. The staff are really friendly and happy to reassure you if you have any worries. Always clean and tidy although the recovery room is a little on the small side. If you have any concerns before or after your procedure, in my experience, they will do their best to help you.

I can highly recommend The Westbourne following cataract removal. Upon entering The Westbourne all the professional, friendly, staff work to give reassurance and relax you. Everything is fully explained. A follow up call after surgery to ensure that all is well is an added bonus. I cannot praise The Westbourne, staff and the Consultant who carried out the procedure highly enough. So much so that I am having a second cataract removed in July.

Lovely and clean but difficult to find as it's on an unusual 'roundabout' with traffic lights and a one way system and there is only a small sign on a concealed gateway. The receptionist was unfriendly and quite officious and despite me being right outside kept telling me I was in the wrong place. Not what you expect when paying large sums for private healthcare and a 200 mile round trip.

I’ve had 3 fat transfers to my breasts with lovely Mr Fatah to correct a botched breast aug and mastopexy I had elsewhere. I did a lot of research to find the right surgeon this time, not really thinking about where he was operating from, but the centre itself was absolutely fantastic, the staff really friendly and supportive. 10/10. I have had multiple sessions of fat grafting with Mr Fatah at the Westbourne Centre to correct deformities and it has been a long, drawn out, and costly process, but with positive results. Fat grating is ideal for those who have time, money, and patience, but not for those who are looking for instant and dramatic changes. Mr Fatah is lovely, and very approachable and realistic. His secretory Ruth has been consistent in being the most amazing person throughout my contact with her and I must say she has gone above and beyond her role and providing support and reassurance when it was needed.

Polite staff clean clinic great Drs and nurses. Just one suggestion, a separate room to reapply makeup and facial dressings. Having to use the public toilet after consultation with Dr isn’t great for my confidence considering I have facial skin problems. Allowing Dr to see is fine, but going from consult room straight into public areas with no camouflage make up is extremely difficult. Reapplication takes time ( ppl knocking on toilet door isn’t great).

Update to my previous review, I have been in communication with the manager of Westbourne centre and I have to say she has been wonderful and understanding with my complaint I made, but really to be honest my complaint was with the Dr I seen there and not in fact with the centre but they intervened and I brought my complaint to a satisfactory conclusion with the centre, although I still have to say to give warning to potential patients not to use the services of Dr Stephen Dover because I found him to be unethical, unprofessional, rude,and has no care for his patients, and another downside is that if you see him your have to deal with his P.A Annmarie biddulth who I can say is untruthful, regarding a telephone conversation with her which she denies the content, but she was unaware that I recorded the telephone calls between us, and I will still be pursuing my complaints to the general medical council and another organisation regarding my experience with Dr Stephen Dover and his untruthful P.A, but this has no bearing on the clinic the Westbourne centre and I will say I would use the centre again but of course with another consultant, I would like to thank the management of the Westbourne centre. Seen mr evans on too seperate occasions now, the 1st time was a xray and too talk about why i was refered from my dental practice lower back wisdom tooth within 4 weeks id recived my appointment to have tooth extracted well of course id forgotten my letter so looked on google to get postcode for the taxi driver well didnt i come across a horrendous review that put the fear in my bones..BUT mr evans and his team was so lovely caring and compasionate throughout my treatment i honestly couldnt thank them enough i dont like the dentist you will see me there when im at my worst but id happily go to the westbourne centre again, from your reception staff to the dental surgeons your all amazing keep up the good work thank you

I had minor surgery today, the staff were absolute brilliant, kept me calm and relaxed throughout the surgery..great team explained everything I needed to know..very pleasant and professional team at work.highly recommended.
