My husband and I were worried about our little one having a tongue tie and with not great information from the hospital we booked an appointment with birth, baby and you the staff were amazing and we felt very relaxed with the help that we were getting. After the procedure they had great advice on positioning and latching; I was breastfeeding pain free for the first time. Thank you so much to Dee Bell for making us feel comfortable and having that 1 to 1 personal touch.

Dee was fantastic explaining our sons tongue tie, what she was doing, how she was doing it etc. thanks to Dee our little boys tongue tie was sorted at 1 week old and he has since been a lot happier eating and putting on weight. Thanks to Dee, our son’s tongue tie assessment and release procedure was such a positive experience. We were extremely nervous beforehand but Dee was professional and reassuring. She explained everything clearly and thoroughly which helped us make an informed decision about the procedure. The release procedure itself was so much less scary than I had imagined! It was over in a split second and our son was feeding happily moments later. We have been completing the exercises Dee recommended since and our son’s tongue function is already noticeably improved. We were very nervous about this procedure as our little one is 5 months old, but Dee made sure that our daughter felt comfortable, calm and happy beforehand. Dee carefully talked us through everything and made us feel very reassured throughout. The procedure itself was nowhere near as traumatic as we expected; there was hardly any blood and our little one was happily napping within 15 minutes. My son is now 4 months old and his GP identified that he had tongue tie at his 8 week review. We waited a long time for the referral to ENT at our local hospital but at the initial appointment I didn’t feel confident we were in the best place to deal with tongue tie in babies and wanted an expert. I discovered Dee Bell’s clinic after reading that others had recommended her so decided to contact her office. I spoke to Sarah initially and explained my concerns. Sarah listened to me and was so helpful, giving me the confidence to proceed and book the appointment. I didn’t know what to expect in terms of the division and as my son was slightly older than other babies I worried it would be a really horrible and painful experience for him. I wasn’t sure before the appointment that I’d even want to go ahead with the division. Dee thoroughly explained everything and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. Her approach gave me 100% faith in her to carry out the division and I no longer had any hesitation. I trusted her completely and that’s what was originally missing from my previous appointments with the hospital. My son did cry but not as much as his vaccinations. He was smiling again a few minutes after. Dee gave me and my husband so much time afterwards. She observed me feeding and gave me advice on positioning which was definitely needed. Dee really was incredible and my son really liked her too (I could tell from the smiles he gave her). My son was in no pain after the procedure and you wouldn’t know he had anything done at all. He is going longer between feeds already so I know there has been some difference made. I would recommend Dee to any parent who has a child with suspected tongue tie or are experiencing feeding issues. Getting advice from Dee when my son is 4 months old has been wonderful but I wished I had contacted her sooner! Thank you Dee and Sarah from Lily, Matthew and Henry.
