It’s the size of a phone box, its designed to increase anxiety and goodness help you if someone else is in!!
These pictures will make those that have used it hyperventilate BUT it’s a memorable place for an amazing time in peoples life.
Very busy wards +staff working very hard during heat wave was in 10 days moved moved about about to different area's few times. It could add that should be aa quite zone like on trains Inn all wards use of DEVICES Should Should be used with earphones earphones after say 10pm in a wards I was on oonneguy was never off his when on till gone 11.30 I had to tell a nurse to tell him he was upsetting other patients ,also used
. Lots of bottles for urine a tip I found myself is if you use one DON'T PUT IT ON SIDE TABLE NECK END OUT BECAUSE YOU ARE EASILY SPILL IT ON YOU, BACK END IS BETTER as any clean"empty bottles neck out so that way you won't get spillage in middle of night. DRI top class 👏 in these trying times.
You hear lots of complaints but.to be.very.honest they have treated me for a few serious matters Cancer my heart stopping twice etc. I can only say i am still alive so in my opinion I have had a first class treatment.
I know with current NHS issues people are having to wait to been seen at the a and e dept ,but I can only praise the staff for all the kindness and medical help They have given my son , he dropped a meat clever on his foot and yes we had to wait some time for ambulance, but on arrival at dri the staff did everything possible to help and get him sorted , we were put off for one day as he need surgery. The staff work tirelessly and give 100% to all that come through the doors . Whether I right or wrong in saying this the problem lies with the GPS... if they made themselves more available and saw the patients the the a and e would not be under so much pressure please please 🙏 dri is doing all it can its going above and beyond
Visiting family . they are being well looked after and she loves the food lol
Parking charges extortionate like other hospitals, they should all be free no-one goes there for fun
Went for a 10-30 appointment at opthalmology, got there at 10-00 and seen to and out before my appointment time.well impressed with this unit.
Easy access well looked after, delt with quickly and the nurse who deals with me and my family is fantastic ☺️
Dad was admitted as a patient, he was really quite poorly following a fall, A&E had discharged him twice but when we finally got him admitted the wards he was on were really good to him. However he did contract covid but fortunately he had had all 3 vaccinations.
Unbelievably efficient service. Minimum wait time. Very pleasant staff. In and out of A&E in about an hour. Including x Ray.
It's fine if you can park It's a nightmare to get in you know where you need to be but locked doors make you have to go the long way round and waiting times are a nightmare.
Always a delay here. Appointment booked for 1230 and got seen at 2pm, how do they get that far behind only 4hrs after opening?!?! Parking availability is seriously poor as well
Yes boys. At the hospital, living it large. Great hospital, highly recommend coming here instead of another one. Good stuff.
The staff and treatment i received for my urgent appointment was very good. I also had to take my elderly father to A&E last year and they were very helpful, supportive and pleasant.
A&E with dear friends mother. It was a long wait. But the excellent staff made it worth the wait. Thank you so much ❤️
Very pleasant, helpful, understanding and professional staff. You do have to take into consideration when waiting that they have a mountain of cases but they still show a positive attitude to each patient.
A&E and minor unit was really helpful with my little boys bad finger/nail coming off. Ladies in xray gave him stickers xx
Good management, on time with appointment s,very good feedback no problems, sorted.
Although I didn't want to be in hospital as no one dies, the medics the nurses and the doctors all were very lovely and reassuring.
The staff were excellent ,couldn't have been better looked after.
Dated hospital but many services available both outpatient and inpatient...never had issues with cleanliness navigation can be an issue parking all the way around and a few entries to get nearer to department required though always busy around main entrance and outpatient department...had treatment as inpatient and food was satisfactory and edible and staff were extremely helpful
Everyone really nice and helpful except one nurse in A&E very rude another patient even asked if I was ok. Told a doctor and he apologized
Well run hospital
Pleasant staff
Signs not very helpful and a long walk from out patient to blood tests having to go outside. I went to geriatric clinic a terrible name for department I may be old but resent been called a geriatric
Massive car park so it's much easier to attend appointments than DRI . Great friendly nurses on the neurology wing .
Pleasant staff, slight delay but all in all no problems.
Looked after me very well. Staff are so friendly
Very good service. In and out with no fuss.
X-ray reception really helpful.
It's a hospital, the staff are all excellent. But the disabled parking bay in the A&E carpark is miles away from the door.
Spotlessly Clean with helpful staff. Took time to explain everything to my mother
Typical nhs hospital staff excellent waiting time dismal quality of care excellent. A very busy depatment eye clinic.
Husband has eye treatment cant fault the staff very polite and friendly. They do a very hard job with everything that's going off not enough praise for them all
Thanks to all of staff in Ophthalmology Department , everything went exactly as it should , you were all wonderful , once again Thank you 🍻🙏
A&E quite busy, lovely staff, I'd give 10 stars.
Very professional as you expect from the NHS.
Eye clinic injection, brilliant staff, reassuring and proffesianable, I was petrified, no need to be.
great care for eye problems and arthritis. Also a very efficient blood test centre.
Perfect didn't have long to wait and staff very friendly
Traffic terrible due to road closures rang the dept I was going to and told too get there as soon as I could safely. Ten mins late and that saw me perfect. Everyone was very friendly and helpful
