My mum went into Hawthorn House 2 days before lockdown and Covid. We hadn’t seen what things were like, however couldn’t have got a better place for mum. She was in the Daisy Unit. Staff were lovely. The family got FaceTime with their gran, greatgran and myself with my mum. Precious moments to keep forever. Sadly my mum passed away March this year. The home were so supportive and understanding. On the day of my mum’s funeral the hearses passed by the home. Staff were out to clap and wave ‘to mum’. Thanks to everyone.

Huge well done to the staff that organised the charity fund raising on behave of Mary and her wish for the funds to go to Breast Cancer. What a lovely bunch of people with such kindness and care towards the residents and visitors. My wallet is a lot lighter, thanks Mary 🤣 .

My Aunt was in Snowdrop unit. I can't rate then highly enough. They cared for her and for us. She was there during the difficult covid times. Staff kept us informed. They treated her with care and humour.

Could not ask for any better in Hawthorn House, my wee mum was in there for 16 months with alzheimers, we sadly lost her on 18th January 2021. The staff are second to none, not only giving my mum 5 star care but also looking after me when she was on end of life care. I can't thank them enough the way they looked after her as if she was one of their own family, If anyone is looking for excellent care for their loved one, I would highly recommend Hawthorn House. Thank you, I've made friends for life ❤ Snowdrop unit
