Went there for a CT scan. The wait wasn’t long at all (i went private and not on NHS).
The staff were amazing, Nada was very kind, informative and reassured me as i was a bit nervous. The process was very quick with no discomfort at all. Becky was also super nice to me. Thanks ladies. Keep it up.

I called to reschedule my appointment and spoke to a very nice person. Polite and helpful. A lot of rude patients must phone up complaining to them as their lines can be busy. I wish people would understand that team DO NOT cancel our appointment that is THE CLINIC not THE BOOKING OFFICE. The lady explained she often gets abuse and rude patients. Poor NHS staff, I wish them all the best

We had a great experience here as the staff did the best for Simina (my daughter). The blodd tests needed and best care from doctors and nurses. Receptionists were nice and helpful. Thank you Charing Cross Hospital!

Completely wonderful staff.
Car park should be pay on exit - visiting is stressful enough without worrying how long you need.
The residential streets are free parking after 5pm and all day at weekends.

My husband saw doctor Matthew (sorry can’t remember surname) an ENT doctor yesterday in outpatients. My husband is currently a patient in another hospital who are having trouble removing his tracheotomy tubes. Matthew did it in a couple of minutes but had to put them back as my husband had to be monitored overnight. However, he changed the tubes and removed all the unnecessary ones. He then telephoned the doctor at the other hospital and wrote a letter how to do this procedure This morning my husband’s tracheotomy was removed and he is well. I cannot praise Matthew high enough, a credit to his profession. He didn’t rush us, listened to our questions and took the time to explain the procedure to another doctor. 10/10 service. Would definitely recommend him

Went to radiotherapy here. Spacious waiting area with Sky news on view. Helpful staff seen promptly and allowed to ask as many questions as I wanted. Very clean especially the toilets. Thanks. Loved the bell.

Best in the world. Spotted a brain tumour from bad eye vision tests. One week later my wife has her sight and life saved during neurosurgery brain tumour removal.
Thank you everyone at Charing Cross Hospital. Nurses, Doctors and all supporting staff. You protected me and my family.
I will always support you and so will everyone I know.

i cannot fault the staff at this hospital but i can find fault with the lack of coordination with the booking department who sends out text messages followed by an email giving an appointment then following it through with another text and email cancelling the same the appointment on the same day. WE ARE SORRY WE HAD TO CANCEL YOURE APOINTMENT THIS HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES OVER THE PAST 12 MONTHS WITH 4 APPOINTMENTS AND STILL HAPPENING TODAY.

A&E is usually quite a wait but it's been managed very efficiently with the seating placements and for A&E it's not a terribly long wait.

I have been a patient in several departments in this hospital including oncology and have always received first class care, The staff are highly skilled and professional and always treat their patients as individuls and with respect. Charing Cross hospital is part of Imperial health care and the same outstanding practice is found in Hammersmith and St Mary's

I was there for a chest xray . There was no queue I waited 5 mins to be called . It took about 10mins for the xray to be done then I was allowed to go home. The staff were lovely and very reassuring

I am overwhelmed at the care I’m receiving at Charing Cross. Every single health care professional in Breast services has been wonderful, from Radiologists, my surgical team, anaesthetists, theatre staff, doctors, nurses from Riverside ward, breast care nurses to oncologists. They include and support me in all the decisions I make. I get the warmest of welcomes at the foyer, it’s a friendly hospital. I’m so happy with the exemplary care and cannot thank them enough for their kindness.

It's a very busy place easy to get lost and get your walking boots on as there is corridor after corridor and u need a sit down and cigarette to get back to normal..big busy hospital that are doing there best at moment

Had to visit A&E just passed midnight. Was empty and quick (remember it’s during omicron pandemic peak). Friendly staff and out quickly.

Have to make appointments for blood test in our case 3.10 hours later. Used to be walk in. Canteen improved good portions and delicious macaroni and cauliflower cheese

This is my favourite place to come for any procedure, everyone is incredibly friendly, when I went to the wrong hospital for my appointment, the amazing staff and head nurse moved things around so that I could have my procedure at Charing Cross. Costa coffee team in the hospital are so positive and upbeat as well!

Absolutely excellent hospital. The ICU staff (especially the lovely Nurses, Drs, Receptionists and Physiotherapists) are incredible. I am so grateful for the excellent treatment my father received during his time in ICU. 💪 Keep up the good work guys, honestly I wish there was more I could show my gratitude towards them. 💜💖🌸

My sister was admitted to ward 9W at the end of November 2020, after a burst brain aneurism. We live in New Zealand and of course, Covid meant that we have been dependent on calls from her husband. It has been a comfort to know that Geoff has been kept informed and treated with kindness and understanding during these difficult months.
We are very grateful for the medical expertise and kind nursing that Hilary has received which has enabled her to transition to Putney. With gratitude and warm regards, Margaret Tait

I went there today with chest pain. I am very positively surprised with professionalism of NHS staff. I don't remember name of the doctor who was checking me but he is the best.

I've been to this hospital a few years ago and the service was speedy, professional & excellent. Lately I've been dealing with Fatima and Sid at admissions and they're brilliant. Fatima deserves special mention for her efficiency and for being prompt, understanding and professional. Nurse Ade at Pre Assessment is fantastic as is Sister Joyce, who deserves an award for her high degree of professionalism and efficiency.

The a and e team are brilliant was looked after well and was put at ease. They really helped me to find out what was wrong with me and gave me correct medication. After having done all test I feel much better thank you.

Commending these 2 nurses’ care:
Eddie on the night shift for one of my first nights
Irena on one of those days I thought would never end
Excellent nurses make such a difference.
Good practice with clearing air from the peripheral IVs and great bedside manners.
Thank you both and TQVM to the busy urologist consultants there!
That aside, condition did worsen one night under another different nurse’s care with overtly rapid administration of the prescribed injections and flushings, with almost no intervals between each individual fluid administration => horrible, horrible rapid IV push, coupled with religious admonishment. There were a few others in nearby who voiced this complain about this particular nurse. Hope to not have such a nurse by my bedside again.
Anyway, to the rest, thank you
Keep safe and take care all ~

Visited my mate who has cancer, spent 3 hours with him and he was spoken to by staff many times asking how he was. My mate said the staff and care he was getting was excellent. My only gripe as a visitor was the parking is diabolical, expensive, and very hard to find a space, plus the wait for the lifts took forever. However as long as they are looking after my mate and he has no problem with the hospital, I would not knock the place .
Update. Sadly my mate caught Covid and passed away in the hospital.
S. P.
The service was outstanding. Doctors and nurses alike, so kind and very compassionate. I'm so grateful, they made me feel at ease from start to end.
E. P.
Looked after me exceptionally well when i had to make two emergency trips in one day! All nurses and drs i saw were professional but with a warm bedside manner that put me at ease. Very grateful that this is my local a & e department. Keep up the good work!

In comparison to guys and St Thomas hospital, Charing cross is a breath of fresh air. Staff were so helpful and informative. Consultant was a very down to earth person who listened and made me feel included in my treatment.
I experienced no bullying of patients and staff, something which poisoned my experience at the other hospitals I have mentioned.
S. A.
Absolutely an excellent hospital. Doctor and nurses were so kind and compassionate. Thank you for the amazing service and for every single NHS staff.

Yesterday evening the fish bone stuck at my throat cavity, causing me very pain, I move from St Mary Hospital to AE of at Charing Cross hospital, I am very lucky to Dr Nathan Titus treated me, as a result of the position of the fishbone stuck deep in the throat, it was quite difficult to remove it. It was Dr Titus persistent effort to finally eliminate my pain. I sincerely thank Dr Titus for his encouragement, his professionalism, fraternity and supreme medical ethics.
R. M.
Hmm, well who wants to be hanging around a hospital. Great art work in the lobby though

The staff at charings cross in ENT are outstanding. Compassionate and helpful. A massive thank you to them all for helping me and others suffering with ENT problems. You're wonderful!!

I went to A&E, I actually have been there several times, and they always perform professionally. I have never experienced long ridiculous hours of waiting despite many patients in the waiting room (of course, you need to understand it may take over an hour, so bring books or magazines or phone to kill time), and staffs at the reception are all very helpful and attentive. They understand what I need, and they always make me feel better. Today, I had a doctor (GP) called Simon, and he examined my symptoms very carefully that I could trust his assessment. He kindly wrote down the list of the medicines (difficult names!) on my notebook. This is my little thank you to this hospital for their great service.
J. A.
All staff were absolutely amazing apart from one nurse who was a racist I say this because to other patients of a different race she would not be rude or picky with however with us the case was different and was laughing at the condition of someone in really bad pain and when asked for something stronger than paracetamol she started talking about the shift changes, and would not stop to listen to what the patient and family have to say like if that was relevant, she also asked “are you in pain” and patient responded yes she then just said “sorry”, disgusting behaviour she’s meant to help and offer more paracetamol or something stronge. Other than this lady the other nurses and doctors were amazing and treated the patient with care and respected her wishes.
I’m speaking on behalf of the patient whom is her sister.

I have had excellent treatment at Charing Cross Hospital. But now I am amazed that a friend with lung cancer has not been able to see a doctor. She tells me that Peter needs to talk to Joe, Joe to Margaret, Margaret to Robert, Robert to Mary, Mary to Richard, Richard to Helen, Helen to Karen etc. Etc. Etc. That by the time they finish to talk to one another she will be dead.
C. B.
Recently undewent 2 operations here along with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The staff were absolutely amazing reassuring me at every step of my treatments. The hospital is very clean, thanks to the cleaning staff and the food was good, lots of choices .
F. C.
The staff are hard working, professional & kind. We all need be aware that the demands on this hospital have increased dramatically due to Government closures of A & E hospitals and the staff are dealing with a Tsunami of walk in patients every day, evening & night...
Have patience, they are doing their best, if you want to get angry at anyone direct it to the Government. Not the staff who do an incredible job.
Thanks to each and every one of them and thank god for the NHS!
S. K.
Fighting to save this hospital of excellence. Hunt is MAD to want to demolish it!
M. A.
Charing X had The best specialists they simply know what they are doing. So Glad the NHS is helping people from different parts of uk at this hospital. We travel 5 hours going and 5 hours back and its so worth it. The treatment the staff are ace. Cant fault it👏🏼👏🏼

Very promptly attended to my needs. Seen to discreetly and smoothly. Empathetic Doctor who couldn't get the printer to print my prescription so went and got the medication for me and I took it there and then, follow on care was queried to see if I'd understood what he'd relayed to me. Great walk in clinic that kept the queues down and explained that there where three different queuing system's and what position I was in my particular queue. Thank you for such a great service which actually challenged my belief that I'd been reading about in the news regarding excessive waiting time's on the NHS SERVICE!

I had the misfortune of needing emergency care, on arrival I was processed very quickly, bloodtests immediately! Very nice consultant appeared immediately, the nursing staff are amazing too, I have a working dog who was also looked after very well! The food was better than St George's in Tooting!
The service I received was outstanding, thank you people.
This hospital is in Fulham South West London, located on Lillie Road, it's very big hospital, as you enter it gives off impression it's a five star hotel, shops cash machines this is the Ground floor! This hospital is now showing its age looking like it needs a facelift! Though with government cuts and threatened closure doesn't look like the facelift will happen.
Although I only spent about six hours in the A & E I was treated very well, though there were other patients who were not happy about being put into a small ward to be treated, one patient had been there for a week!

My mother was treated for Breast Cancer at this hospital over a span of 3 years before she passed away. She had an overall positive experience. Any cancer survivor will say that chemo is a horrible and traumatic experience, but she was made to feel comfortable with ward staff who became like friends. The nurses especially were a ray of sunshine for my mum, who hated being on a ward and had trouble sleeping and eating. After her first stint with cancer in 2014, the plastics team removed her tumors, breast and reconstructed her breast using tissue from her stomach in one long surgery, and she was very pleased with the results. She didn't wish to get her other breast reduced to match in the end, or get further treatments to make her breasts look more natural, due to her hatred of hospital stays and surgery. Her consultant, Mrs Shah was respectful of this. She was always allowed to change her mind if she wanted. She even got to pick Shah after disliking her initial consultant which was lovely.
However her final weeks and days were frustrating. This is due to the immense pressure C. Cross is under as a major NHS hospital. Her drain came out at home and she had to be rushed to A&E where she waited over 8 hours for a bed and a proper doctor. This was two days before she died and there was a lot of incompetence involved. I remember I stormed up to the 6th floor to shout at the oncology ward to actually do something for her. I believe whoever fitted her catheter for her ascites didn't do it correctly. Her day of death was good though, in terms of care. She couldn't get a private room, as the ward was completely full and so was the private ward. She had her pain managed well, by sympathetic nurses. We were allowed to have my christening service with the Deacon around her bed in her last hours. She died with a smile on her face, and I was by her side. The oncologist gave me a hug, and the nurses set up a private room on the ward and closed her eyes. We were allowed to sit with her for hours, holding her, as if she were sleeping. For a hospital death, it was very peaceful.
The oncologists were a mixed bag, some were lovely, some were unsympathetic. We took to recording consultations because mum would be told things one day and have them change the next. There were delays to her treatment which were unnecessary but this would happen at any NHS hospital.
The Maggie's centre on site gives comprehensive mental health support for cancer patients and their families, in a lovely garden. Generally the hospital itself is clean and bright, and the wards are not too crowded and are generally quiet. The private rooms are lovely if you can get one!
I'm sure if the NHS got the funding and social care clinics needed the treatment would be 5 stars, however since A&Es are shutting and there are more cuts it may only get worse.
M. P.
Charing Cross is a very good hospital and a lot of departments are amongst the best in London. In general the consultants, doctors and nurses have a friendly and approachable manner that has improved in recent years in my experience. The administrative staff can still sometimes be a bit below par, but hopefully this will improve too. The hospital ambience is the thing really in need of an overhaul, and would also go some way to reducing the impression that cleanliness is not getting a high enough priority still. A&E in particular is affected by this, and if you are accompanying someone there you do get plenty of time to notice the rather grimy floors and walls.
T. F.
Level 1 coffee shop and Subway, are a good place to stop for refreshments, not as busy as ground floor Costa and Amigo shops.
V. D.
Whenever I've been here there has never been any issues and I've always been lucky enough to find parking
A. K.
Been admitted here thrice so far, twice planned and once through A&E. Excellent ENT team, very caring and empathetic nurses and wide variety of meals, not to mention a decent array of eateries both inside and within close proximity to the hospital. I also applaud the fact that things like meals and ward rounds run on schedule!
G. P.
Had a cyst removal and honestly everyone was so lovely. I was really well looked after and the nurses were all so sweet.
H. B.
I had a tingling and funny vibration in my arm and was slightly dizzie as I walked home from Charing Cross Hospital Gym. I went to A & E and was immediately seen by a Doctor who admitted me to A&E for tests. The attention I received and the attention to detail was incredible. Eventually I was moved to a monitoring ward. And again I was looked after well until I was seen by a Consultant some 9 hours later who decided that I didn't need another blood test and I was allowed to go home. During that period I was given test after test to make sure that I was OK.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the three Doctors who examined me and to all the Nurses and auxiliary staff who looked after me so well.
Well done Charing Cross and the A&E and long may it remain open
J. B.
I've just had a procedure carried out to treat my trigemenial neuralgia and felt very well looked after.. I didn't feel that great once home over 56miles away and advised to go to my local A&E from one of your nurses . Overall the staff are great and treated me well. Amir and Mr Mendoza looked after me and I highly recommend them. Kate on .cx 11s is absolutely lovely and showed a sense of humour second to none..lovely catering man too. Polite and sweet natured..thank you
A. V. C.
I am living locally in Hammersmith & Fulham and this hospital has saved me many times! The Emergency department of course has long queues as this is the normal procedure when you have not booked an appointment. Nevertheless, if you have your GP assigned and you book an appointment time they are always very punctual. The GP attention is quite good and they explain everything carefully for you to understand the treatment. They are good for general things but don´t go there if you need an specialist because they don´t have any.
M. J.
I visit this hospital at least once or twice a month, under the care of both the Rheumatology and Dermatology departments. I've always found staff friendly and helpful. I've never been kept waiting longer than about 15-30 minutes passed an appointed time but the norm is to be seen early if you turn up early! Also visit the Phlebotomy and Radiology departments on a regular basis to and have found them to be happy, welcoming and good at their job (near painless blood tests, swift X-Rays, MRIs and CT scans)!
T. K.
I injured my shoulder and went to the A&E department, the receptionists were friendly, helpful and smiley and passed me on to a doctor for an initial consultation. I then went to see the doctor who diagnosed the problem and refereed me to get some X rays then back to the same doctor to complete everything.
All this took about 45 mins, the doctor, Harry, was down to earth and sincere and the girls in the X ray department were happy and efficient at their job.
What could have been a nightmare was no hassle at all.

I have had breakfast, lunch there occasionally. Food is reasonably priced. A help-yourself-catering environment. Till accepts credit cards as well as cash. Massive plasma screen. Nearby water urns with cups provided. Never packed or overcrowded (thank God). Plenty of elbow room to sit down, relax and eat a meal. You can have a table to yourself if you are a messy eater. Lots of light through windows. Breakfast is between 8a.m.-12p.m. Lunch starts between 12p.m.-2p.m. The photos in my review is of a much neglected, outdoor spacious area, divided by a pane of glass.

I like to give credit where its due. I cant thank the ENT team enough for the outstanding service! very professional. The ENT surgeon DR G Sandhu has The best ENT team in fact the best in world. He saved my life. Now im happily married with a beautiful miracle daughter, all thanks to the almighty and ofc my surgeon dr sandhu. Cant be anymore thankful. Long story short, The hospital and the teams especially dr sandhu needs more recognition as i always end up meeting a lot of people like my self who travel a very long distance just to get the best service from the best specialists. They simply know their thing. They good at what they do simply the best. Its a BRILLIANT HOSPITAL with BRILLIANT STAFF its OVERALL OUTSTANDING.

Where angels work. A major shoutout for the A&E staff at charing Cross, where my mum (visiting from India) was admitted for an infection. Absolutely fantastic staff from reception to nurses to doctors.....relentlessly serving those who need their care. I was amazed at the patience and grit of a and e staff. Incredible staff at AAU took best care of mom and me, excellent team of dedicated well skilled medical professionals. Huge respect for all of you. Bincy, dr kumar, dr chris, john, alicja, dr victoria, nurse Lee, dr dar....everyone Thank you so much. God bless you all.
I still dont know How do you do it?
A. S.
I was looked after really well at this hospital from the Dr, Surgeons, Staff, Nurses all were attentive to my every need. And kept me fully informed on my well being. Asking questions was never a problem, and they made sure you understood everything. Thank you All.
M. H.
God bless the NHS and its paramedics. I'm especially referring to three who attended me last week after a serious fall in the kitchen: Lydia, Charlotte and Tom. They were cheerful, fully professional and completely focussed during the half hour or so in which they assessed my condition. In the end they felt it prudent to bring me to Charing Cross A&E to be on the safe side. After a thorough examination I was released and except for some bruising I'm fine. As I'm 80 years old, it could have been quite different.
J. K. L.
I came in with pneumonia, the staff took care of me so well that I was able to go home in less than 3 days in hospital. Thank you to Mark, Fatima and Kat who took such good care of me!
s. g.
I had an operation at the back my neck, which related to the spine. I am so happy with the result of my operation & how I was looked after by the nurse's plus regular visits by the doctors. All the staff & nurse's were friendly, very helpful. It made the stay in hospital comfortable.😊I was in ward 10 north for rebilhtation, the physio staff helped me get on my feet again. It's going to be year since i had my operation at charringcross hospital, I'm soooooo grateful to my consultant HAIDER KAREEM,doctors, nurses & the physio team for getting me fit, up on feet again. Means much to me, I'm thankful everyday & feel lucky. A MASSIVE THANKYOU! 🍀

I had to make an urgent stop at Charing Cross Hospital's Emergency Centre after fainting on the tube and suffering from severe food poisoning. The staff (doctors and nurses) were great, the wait was really long (about four hours) but once I was seen and blood samples/drips were put on me, everything went really smoothly, I don't think I could asked for nicer/friendlier staff!
L. F.
They were great with me and when I look at my stroke outcome compared to the people who attend my local stroke club Im so glad I was taken to Charing Cross - would have been nicer if the people taking my MRI scan had listened to me though
Z. A.
I am a consultant otolaryngologist working in this hospital as a full time NHS Consultant. I also have a private practice here on the 15th floor, Thames Wing.
I absolutely love this hospital and consider it as my second home. I would highly recommend it to family and friends. I was a patient here myself too.
The hospital covers a huge array of medical and surgical specialties and is known for its hard working and friendly staff as well as the latest in medical technology
M. B.
It is really well managed, inside the door you are asked to sterilize your hands and you can visit the restaurant or one of the coffee bars, excellent.

I was on the neuro ward for surgery in 2014. I am an NHS patient, and the care I received was amazing. No one could have received better care. My deep thanks to the staff, I should have posted this sooner.
Thank you!
T. R.
I am truly grateful for all the care I received on having being diagnosed with breast cancer in April last year . I can honestly say the kind caring support I received even from the lovely receptionist . This is something money can't buy wonderful hospital with wonderful people . Thankyou charing cross.
R. F.
Can not FAULT them on waiting lists for operations, after care and physiotherapy. They've a good mental health service there but do keep pushing for support of a loved one if they're in need of M.H support due to people needing to remain persistent with a SELF referral system which is in place.
m. H.
I was transferred to Charring Cross on the 17th April 2017 from Ealing, I had a Subarachnoid Haemorrhage ( bleed to the brain) I was in a top hospital with good Neurologists and Neurosurgeons. I was in critical care for a month, which is 2 patients to one nurse. I could have died or had serious disabilities but I don't, I am still recovering at home slowly. It's all thanks to the Surgeons, Doctors and Nurses, without there expertise and dedication I would not be here , I am forever grateful .
F. K. (. M.
Given current condition the running of the services is exemplary. Would be 5 stars if the reason I was there had been adequately dealt with.

I presented to the walk in surgery at Hammersmith as an international visitor. I was seen in 3.5 hrs by a doctor, whocorrectly diagnosed a metabolic issue. He referred me with documentation to Charing Cross for blood tests. I was seen fairly promptly and admitted to A&E. Within a 24 hour period, (and 25+ phials of blood later) the medical team diagnosed a rare and serious condition. Luckily, this is easily medicated. Top marks to the team at Charing Cross, and the Imperial College of Medicine.
Diagnosis was missed at earlier opportunities in my own country with a similar medical system.
A. D.
I came here with my brother as he is training to be a doctor here. There is a bar, gym and library for students to use. I looked at the gym and it was quite small, but it is better than nothing. The bar looks relaxing and had a nice student vibe to it

They saved my life. My GP failed to detect a brain tumour despite my regular visits after seizures and symptoms. Within hours of receive me, these guys operated, and successfully kept me alive against many odds. Could not fault that.
Carol Park is pricey, and the Caffè has gone down hill with the new contractors, but the have 3lovely shops, a pharmacy who is among the most organised I could imagine. Easy access by road and a bus stop right outside, closest tubes are *Hammersmith and Barron's Court
S. F.
Got my COVID vaccine here, all staff were so lovely and friendly. Well organised!
m. r.
I would to thank the staff , nurses & doctors ,especially the staff of River side suite and North wing 7th floor ward. I was there for 2 days everybody was very professional and helpful.
A special thanks to Sister Rejoice. (God Bless You All)
S. D.
Some of the top surgeons and doctors are here hence why I rate it highly. It does have clear signing with coloured arrows pointing you to blood test and such as well which I thought was cute haha.
The biggest thing that I found annoying was that the car park 'pay and display' were coins only meters. In this day and age most people either only carry their debit/credit cards or occasionally some notes. There was a shop close by but it still makes things a little awkward.
f. w.
The staff on 6N cancer ward could not have been more caring or attentive and there was a high level of cleanliness with a marvellous ward matron who was completely in control...very reassuring - thank you lovely staff.
N. A.
blood test was fast and simple

Walking across the cemetery, I felt peaceful in minds and thoughtful. It is one of Imperial's hospital campuses. It has a great student bar, and small gym hiding inside the back of the hospital. I won't forget those times walking around, spending days and nights, getting to know those people and what they are heading in the future.
J. S.
Have had really very good experiences here as well as really very bad last experience here from nurse in A&E who was exceedingly rude!
Best thing about this hospital is the fish ponds outside the front of the building.
B. K.
Attended the GP and had a blood test in the hospital on Wednesday. I was blown away by the wonderful service by the man on the main hospital reception. He was so helpful and cheery.
R. D.
Brilliant care after ghastly Brittle Asthma episode earlier this year. Many thanks to everyone for their care and expertise, especially kind nurses who brought me cups of tea in the dark hours before dawn.
s.
I attend this hospital yearly, the doctors and nurses are all kind and helpful. The hospital buildings need a bit of attention. I've never had a problem while attending appointments here

L. S.
The team on the ward I was on provided brilliant care over the 8 days I was a patient. I really cannot be more grateful to them
B. P.
The hospital is slowly falling apart as a result of the lack of funding and intentional neglect by the government and its desire to close it down. The hydrotherapy swimming pool side is already permanently closed with no more baby swimming classes.

"Lee Young Jun PEN ART"
Pen Art(General Remarks)
Infinity of lines and dots have symbolism. Such symbolism is ever changing according to the spirit’s depth. All works are kaleidoscopic; they are usually composed of indescribable expressions. Therefore, art’s depth also can be said to be unlimited. Is pen art’s depth also infinite? In other words, do the lines and dots flowing from the nib of a pen have an artistic qualification? In this respect, it is worth thinking deeply. Pen art begins from an essence of nature’s fundamental values. From the standpoint of value, or color, a harmony of black and white is essential in nature. As it is impossible to see any color in darkness, distinguishing color is an essential role of light. That is why the soul is drawn to light. Whiteness, or light is a spiritual reflection of the soul while blackness, or darkness is a reality of life on earth. As the color green is an essential color of vegetation, burnt charcoal is an earthy color that will stay near black. Blackness is heterogeneous and may be hostile to life. If blackness belongs to the essence of nature, it also may be said to represent the image of death. A combination of black and white constitutes degrees of lightness and darkness. When painting black on a white background, the soul is transported to the white background. Whiteness comes to life when contrasted with black line and black space. In this case, soul also may be expressed through the blackness. Soul may be transported to the black or a combination of white and black, which shed a mysterious merit to the soul or spirit. Pen arts starts and ends from an essence of nature’s fundamental contrasts. The primary essence is infinite and eternal while the artistic harmony of black and white can take one’s breath away. But, this is not possible until a metamorphosis has been realized over many years and spiritual transcendence has occurred. The transfer of spirit occurs when one’s life experiences are projected onto the white canvas in harmony with blackness. That is the true ‘pen art.’

I was treated by orthopaedics consultant Mr Catteral in 1986 and him and the staff including the physio were brilliant - any system is only as good as the personalities that run it - and, in this case they were good!

Without Charing Cross I would not be able to write this review today, I was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of germ cell cancer in October 2014 with the only specialist hospital in the country being charing cross I owe them the life I have now the impeccable work of the doctors junior doctors nurses and auxiliaries that aided me in my recovery and through my chemo they are second to none and deserve the wage of footballers in my eyes although my darkest days have been spent here for weeks at a time they deserve a million star rating!
P. S.
Last week I had an operation on my neck, the operation went very well and the care and attention during my stay was excellent. Stayed on Ward 11 South and everyone was fantastic. Thank you to everyone.
R. J.
This hospital is efficient . It is friendly . This little flower I captured in the small but somehow wild and natural garden . Excellent.

In this covid-19 aware environment it is noticeable how few people actually need to be at the hospital at any one time.
G. F.
Quick A&E times. Breast services 2 week rule met to see a doctor. Physiotherapy amazing

After turning up at the wrong hospital for a CT scan this morning (I should have gone to Hammersmith) they very kindly agreed to see me there and called the other hospital for me to explain even though they were obviously very busy.
G. B.
They seem very caring.
If going by Underground, go to Barons Court station. It's the same distance as Hammersmith, and a very pleasant walk through Margravine Cemetery.

It's super clean, and they work as fast as they can. They might not taking much time explaining what is happening, but that's understandable since there is a high demand of emergencies going on.

Nothing super special about this hospital, very mediocre, but even so I'm extremely happy and we are all so lucky we get free health care, the A&E here is very good also but a tad slow but I understand that with today's overcrowding, please don't see this as bad mouthing because it isn't, I understand we have an insanely busy country I'm just trying to be honest

(Translated) I have not been here personally, but I was passing by with a friend. So, I quote:
"the best place, it's the only place where I'm not afraid 😂"
In short, a good hospital. I don’t know who disagrees. Doctors are different ..

Здесь лично не была, но проезжала мимо, с подругой. Так вот, цитирую:
"лучшее место, оно единственное, где мне не страшно 😂"
Короче, хорошая больница. Кто не согласен, ну не знаю. Врачи разные..

(Translated) I had to turn to A&E for help around 11 p.m.
No queues,
3 minutes for registration,
5 minutes n waiting,
3 minutes diagnosis,
10 minutes of operative procedures ... And they brought drops with them.
No money was taken. I am delighted with the professional approach of employees to their work and their own organization of the service process. Thank you very much.
