Amazing experience and brilliant staff! I got the implant removed and replaced. Was greeted by lovely receptionists, and the nurse met me within seconds. She was extremely friendly, comforting and attentive the whole time, easing me through the process which really calmed my anxiety beforehand. I was in and out swiftly! Just amazing!

Incredible service form the beginning to end. When I called, they scheduled me an appointment for the next day. Then when I arrived to the clinic, the recepcionist was very nice, they received me inmediately and the personal was very friendly, open and dedicated. The nurse was very attentive. Absolutely the best clinic I have ever been to. I swear. I was given an appointment with the doctor and the same day I was given an appointment for a check-up.
Super easy to get to the clinic, everything well signposted.
The treatment was impeccable from the receptionist, the nurse and the doctor. They treated me great. Normally I am terrified of needles and the nurse was so careful and so kind that I didn't even notice it. No pain or discomfort at all. My first language is not English and they made sure that they explained everything well and that I understood. I am delighted!! Massive thanks!!

I called around 9:30am for emergency pill they booked my call appointment to a doctor in between 12-1pm.Dr.Kresent called me exact 12:30pm.He understood my situation and explained me very clearly and that day only at 3pm he booked my appointment at clinic.His conversation was excellent. I went to clinic 3pm no queues nothing was busy,staff was excellent.The Nurse(Lauren) very kind,made me feel at ease and explain each and everything in detail. Treatment completed within 5mins without pain.St Mary's excellent as always.Please avoid negative comments.This is my personal experience I'm sharing to helpout others peoples.

The staff are amazing! My name is Sandra and I have been having some issues with my health for a long time and in the past everywhere else I was always made to feel that my options were limited and/or feeling worse after. A very long time agoni was even told I would never find out what my issues were. My experience here was very different, I was made to feel safe and no matter what, even if they didn't have the answers straight away they have a plan to figure it out. For the first time I've left an appointment feeling hopeful. They know how to speak to you as a person and they help you go through a form and even their forms go into depth to help resolve your issues. I'm not great with names but I think spoke to Kyle (sorry if I'm wrong) but he was very sympathetic and helpful to me during our appointment. The nurse and the learner with her were absolutely lovely as well as the young woman at the front desk was very welcoming! Thank you all for the positive experience. One thing I hope would change would be an update on the building and it's plumbing system as it does not reflect the standard of service you receive when you go there. It's like walking into the local chicken shop yet receiving Michelin star rated service. Thanks again everyone!xx

I had my IUS coil fitted today and the service was perfect. I had prebooked the appointment using Zesty (1 week in advance), so I only had to wait for around half an hour to be seen. The nurse and the attending specialist doctor (Dr. Mauro) were very kind, made me feel at ease, and answered all of my questions. They were patient with me and explained everything in detail. The procedure itself was very professional, relatively painless and the doctor kept asking how I felt, so I would have minimal discomfort. St Mary's excellent as always. Top notch service!

Loses a star for two of the reception staff being very rude, yelling at me for sitting in the wrong waiting area/trying to plug in my phone charger and for 3 hour wait time (although i understand ofc thats not really something they control) after i actually saw a nurse however was a great experience, super helpful and friendly, made me feel extremely at ease as someone who gets anxious at hospitals and has not been to a walk in clinic before. I had been to FOUR clinics trying to be seen only to be completely turned away for some reason or another prior to going here so i was under a lot of stress but the nurse really sympathised when I told her how id ended up so far from home and made me feel way better, thank you sarah! Next time I will be booking an appointment in advance to save time

Amazing service, the receptionists are some of the nicest in the NHS, and two of the specialist nurses I saw were great, extremely caring, efficient and professional. Waiting times could be long, even for pre-booked appointments, but it’s clearly evident the staff are overstretched and they try their best.

Every time I have visited the Jefferiss Wing Clinic I have never felt so cared for. This clinic can get very busy but the staff are always working so efficiently to see everyone in a timely manner. The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to advise you in the best possible way.

By far the best experience I have ever had at a clinic. The staff were friendly and warm, the process was explained clearly, and I felt totally relaxed and respected. I have used their services on more than one occasion and the nurses and doctors here work their hardest to offer a good service.
My only critique would be to the receptionist on the first floor, she was very moody when serving me and I also noticed she had an argument with the person that was before me as well.

Amazing service. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I went for a normal check up and they found a lot of glucose in my urine and urgently advised me to go see my GP. They picked up my diabetes before anyone else. Which saved my life as I was extremely ill. Thank you

Arrive 10.30 for 11.45 opening as a Wednesday. 2 people ahead of me in queue who’ve waited at least the same time. Queue grows to at least 30 people. At 11:43 two women with 5 children arrive & stand at the front of queue chatting & ignoring all others. At 11:50 the doors opened by staff member.
The 2 queue jumpers begin to walk in. I along with 3 others in queue point out to staff member these 2 turned up just now. The 2 protest they waiting in a cafe nearby...!
I point out that even if that the case it’s not queuing. They became abusive & say “That man should be stopped!”. (What? Stopped from calling out vile behaviour? They're banking on that not happening…) The staff member lets them in first not challenging or questioning them.
The first woman in the queue pushed back to 3rd as a result & I 5th. Anyone having used this service knows waiting times increase the later you seen - the very reason why I & the 2 women in the queue before me arrived & waited over an hour...
The staff member hands out queue numbers, clipboards & registration sheets, the 2 women queue-jumpers given queue numbers 1 & 2.
The 2nd queue-waiting woman now handed queue number 4 along with clipboard & directed towards a seat. I pick up the next clipboard from the box next to me. The staff member rounds on me & shouts “put that back!” then hands it back to me with a queue number 5 slip...
I say I wish to make a complaint. She says I can do later. Those who queued now crowded in too-small waiting area with few seats, impossible for discretion when filling out personal information on the registration form due to crowding. The 2 queue jumpers have their numbers 1&2 called & seen first.
My number 5 came up on screen & an automated voice says, “Number 5, cubicle 3”. At this cubicle the woman there says, “not this one, cubicle 2!” Then loudly says to colleague “Looks like it gonna be one of those days!”.
From then I’m only dealt with by 3 health professionals doing testing & results. All 3 polite, informative, clear & professional- unlike the reception staff.
I give the 3 health professionals doing testing & results 5 stars but the 3 reception staff 1 star. A balance of 3 stars. Reception staff are visitors first point of contact in what overall is a sensitive & difficult experience for the visitor & to be treated with such contempt & lack of basic dignity unacceptable. It’s not lack of staff training as being civil & polite a given (manners cost nothing) & the reception staff fell well short. Performance should be monitored & if staff repeatedly lacking dismissed & replaced with willing candidates showing professionalism as of those doing testing & results. It is wrong that due to the poor behaviour of reception admin staff the service overall is marked down.
I did make a polite complaint with explanation to the last medical professional I saw who thanked me, acknowledged it (with an air of familiarity as if this far from the first time…) & agreed that it not right and would be addressed.
Use this clinic if you have to but be prepared for queue jumpers not to be challenged no matter how early you arrive or how late they arrive & then poor service from reception staff. If you endure this initial experience the subsequent professionals provide a good & caring service. As for the 2 queue jumpers, rotten people unfortunately part & parcel of this world. However, we can send them a message with our behaviour around theirs. Challenge them when they throw their fried chicken boxes out of car windows in your area, when they shout loudly on public transport to intimidate, when they show no basic manners but instead, aggression. They only continue to do it if they think they can get away with it. Challenging their loathsome behaviour is the only way to make them crawl back under their rock or possibly change their behaviours to being good people (where possible). I would recommend checking star ratings & reading reviews for this & all services. They there for good reason.

Today, 17th August, 2017, just before midday, I visited the Jefferiss Wing to request a sexual health check up. I was seen by Dr Sood and nurse Jess within 45 minutes of my arrival at reception. Both Dr Sood and nurse Jess dealt with me quickly and efficiently. The service provided by the clinic is excellent and thoroughly professional. I can heartily recommend it.

If there is anything wrong leave a day to go this clinic, GPs are waste of time it take so long for them to give you an answer. But in this clinic they test you, and give you the results on the same day AND they give you your medication. HOWEVER, it usually takes 4 to 5 hours take your book :)

Cannot fault this place. The staff all work long hours & are dedicated & clearly have a CARE for the patients...place is ALWAYS BUSY, four hour wait time is quite normal, but so what?! The service is FREE. There are virtually no walk-in sexual health (free) clinics left these days...huge thanks.

I see lots of people complaining about it,but I can tell you that it's a great place to go and check yourself since GP in this country can't transfer you.They do all the tests,give you meds that you need and check you properly.Yes it's a busy place but what do you expect it's a walk in centre.I been there twice and I am thankful to all the doctors that have seen me and helped me.
