Really very impressed with the polished and professional experience the hospital has provided me. I booked an appoint on Monday, for a 30 minute consultation with a cardiologist. Was seen the following morning. Had an ECG before the consultation. The consultation actually lasted an hour and 15 minutes, during which time the consultant obtained details of my medical history, explained to me some of what I was experiencing and why, discussed ways to move forward and what further tests she would like me to undertake. I felt very much in safe hands and very much reassured after months of worry. Absolutely every member of staff I came into contact with was lovely. Nothing felt rushed and I felt a lot was going into making my experience as comfortable as it could be. The entire experience was smooth and well oiled. My whole visit flowed very well from the moment I arrived at the reception downstairs, and as I moved through an array of staff medical and non-medical who dealt with the various components of my outpatient visit. It was exemplary customer service.

I had a day surgery yesterday and was impressed with everything from start to finish, especially the doctors and nurses. I don’t have much basis for comparison and it’s my first time in hospital, but I’d be happy if all of my future hospital stays were like this.

This is my pandemic experience that may change when it's over - HCA need to change their catering manager. Apart from the daily lunch special, they're using cheap ingredients in everything, small portions, limited choice, and they clearly have basic supply chain problems. You're lucky if everything you ordered arrives.
In a private hospital good food is a big part of what you pay for given the health benefits. The poor staff are left constantly apologising.
Also clean the windows so we can enjoy the view.

Received the most amazing care at the hospital. Was there for two nights and the whole staff were fantastic. The rooms are spacious, clean and have an incredible view of the Thames which really does make for a great experience when recovering from surgery. Not to mention, the food provided was exquisite with a vast range of options, especially considering I'm vegetarian. Would always recommend if you can go to this hospital then you should.

It takes hours to get an appointment and the quality of the service is not like it used to be. Everything is delayed and takes weeks to get an appointment

So impressed with HCA London Bridge. Even during a pandemic their standards haven't dropped - if anything they have been raised. I had an intensive surgery today and from the moment I walked in I felt like I was in a hotel, facilities are outstanding. All nurses went out of their way and were very very kind. The human touch makes all the difference especially when you can't have visitors at the moment with Covid. I had a chat with the nurse and heard first hand about their commitment to sustainability which is so important given the amount of plastic and waste used daily in hospitals.
The only couple of things I would say is some of the rooms can be noisy with noise from the ward. Try to ask for a room away from reception. Also if your surgery is at night make sure they get your dinner cooked before so someone can warm it up when you come out.
Other than that highly recommended this hospital.

Had a routine hip procedure and I can't recommend the hospital enough. The staff are all amazing and super friendly. Facilities are great and they really take care of their patients.

My mother had anterior resection of colon few weeks ago under care of fantastic Dr Alexis schizas and lovely colorectal specialist nurse specialist Lisa Lloyd.
My mother had the best care from all the amazing staffs .
Mr Schizas is very kind ,humble and brilliant surgeon.
Great communication , great skill and kind human .
My mother is very grateful and she cannot stop praising them for the top notch service she receive during and after her surgery.

Great service all the way. The nurses and staff are very friendly and very service oriented. The food selection is superb and the room has a view of the Shard, very nice experience all together, I have never had a problem with this hospital and HCA clinics, always get top service. I have recommended this place and the Urologist here Mr Bultitude is a very great person and very efficient, my friend got top service here, I highly recommend it

Dr Azhar Khan was simply amazing. The care in which he and his team took care of me before, during and after my major operation during the pandemic was outstanding. Thank you so much for all that you did for me

A FANTASTIC hospital. I think it must be the best one I’ve ever been to.
Had a minor procedure done, had a separate single occupancy room for the day. Very nice view, great a la Carter lunch, absolutely SUPERB nursing staff who were knowledgable and with great bedside manners.
The procedure itself was expertly done!
Highly recommended!

Polite staff, from receptionists to nurses. Some parts of the process are confusing, e.g. where to wait before an appointment and whether nurses will come look for us if we walk away.
All nurses spoke clearly and respectfully to older patients, good service.

I had a surgery in this hospital in December 1990. That surgery changed my life. I was 14 years old at the time. The nurses were great and my surgeon Professor Mundy was an angel sent by god. I owe my life to him.
I visited the hospital and him this year after 29 years. Both are still there in this constant changing world.

I had a course of physiotherapy at London Bridge Hospital for my neck. The therapist was very knowledgeable and professional and helped my symptoms. One of the biggest positives was that she helped me to see where I was going wrong and I felt empowered to return to my goals. The department is also based in the Shard with a brand new, well equipped gym as an added bonus! I would highly recommend going here for treatment.

Life saving treatments, probably too ten hospital of the world no doubt it would be on that list.

Great staff and doctors but totally marred by the over abundance of patrons from a particular region of geopolitical instability. Any Londoner will instantly understand all the stereotypes are regrettably very applicable here.
Shame that this ruins an otherwise incredible institution.
R. E.
A fantastic hospital in every way. I can’t praise it highly enough. The nurses are professional, knowledgeable and caring. Nothing is too much trouble.
Nearly all the nurses that looked after me were from Europe and were without exception outstanding. I hope that Brexit will not stop these superb people from coming to work here.
Thank you all.

Arrived here after a disastrous and potentially fatal misdiagnosis at the nhs hospital. My mother got fantastic consultant and the most brilliant care and attention from all staff from the top down to the cleaner and catering staff and the porter. I had to pinch myself that this was all real. Wonderful room overlooking Thames with hotel facilities and the best food ever quality and gourmet. Cheers to ward 5 staff from grateful New Zealanders.

Private hospitals have some benefits compared to regular ones.
They provide rapid intervention and treatment for numerous conditions.
Patients receive customised, individual care and what's best -- you don't have to wait hours to be attended.
A few months ago, I had a terrible skin allergy -- knowing my skin type, I was amazed since I never had allergies in my life. My doctor couldn't diagnose me, so I tried like three different hospitals and medicaments before coming to the Bridge private hospital.
It is true, that you pay a big amount of money, but health comes in first place.
The doctors, nurses and all the staff treat you so nice, you almost enjoy being sick. Everyone likes a little attention and feeling special from time to time.
The interior and equipment here, compared to some London hospitals don't make it feel like a hospital at all. The waiting room is warm and somehow cosy.
It definitely not somewhere you'd go for any little injury, but if you want quick and professional attention, this is the place.

This is where I had my trans surgery done. Hospital staff & surgical staff are all excellent. I came here in the winter of 1992. Met a wonderful women there that took me into her house when I was discharged instead of my having spend the night alone in the b&b. Wish I had kept in touch with her. For a very stressful time in my life, all was done to relieve that stress. Thank you LBH from a great full Canadian.
M. F.
This hospital staff welcomed me and treated me with the utmost empathy, kindness, and support. Although my stay was relatively short but I was inspired by every single person that I came in contact with.
H. C.
Excellent, polite and highly friendly staff at every point of contact. Beautiful, pristine facilities. The physio I was recommended to see is highly knowledgable, amiable and enthusiastic. I am looking forward to continuing the sessions in The Shard. Greatly recommended.

All the staff that looked after me were lovely. Professor Sanderson is the epitome of a professional yet caring doctor.

Fantastic private hospital.
Very convenient location right outside the tube station.
Incredibly modern and clean interior, made to feel very welcome.
Doctor highly knowledgeable and very reassuring.
Worth the money to get a second opinion after dealing with the NHS

The SNS (Spine Neuro Surgery) unit is first class. Mr Bhupal Chitnavis (Now Spine only I believe) was my brain surgeon in January 2008. He has an incredibly calm manner, reassurance and professionalism I had not witnessed before. I felt 100% assured that I was in the best possible hands and the support team around him were excellent too. 6 years later on I am deficit free and the scar tissue has remained static. I believe a lot of this was to do with my initial consulatation, the manner I approached the process and the excellent out patient treatment I received post-op. I would recommend this hospital without a thought. I owe my life to it.

A 5 star private hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare UK family, located in the heart of London. Providing a same day treatment service with its Urgent Care Centre walk in building, all the way to it's fast treatment plans for any minor to major healthcare problems in the main campus.

From the moment we arrived
Mark lee on the door was a great
Ambassador to your hospital what a gentleman
Then from there onwards staff where simply the best
Ann my nurse and others that visited my room where awesome
The consultant and the theatre staff all great
Sounds stupid but can’t wait for my next visit lol

Gets a 3 because of the many trip hazards in the dimly lit corridors you walk/rush through. Genuine risk of injury.
The atmosphere is super camp- I was into it, but however camp your expecting it to be... triple it.
The second half is genuinely adrenaline-pumping.
S. G.
The nurses are really helpful and give a personalised feel. Also, the food here is actually rather nice (although somewhat expensive for guests) and the Wi-Fi is decent.
M. V.
I can't recommend this hospital enough - I went for a minor procedure and the staff were so kind and really put me at ease. First class doctor too - Dr Anderson is an expert gastroenterologist. Thank you!
R. M.
Haven't been here but saw this from the Thames. This is a private hospital on the south bank of the River Thames. It opened in 1986. It belongs, along with several other well-known private London hospitals, to HCA International. It is located on Tooley Street, London, SE1

After having open heart surgery performed by Mr Young and his team, which other hospitals had refused to do as the operation was deemed to "risky". I cannot speak highly enough about this establishment and the care that I received.
J. W.
This is the best place for any procedure. Jenny rose, Nadia and Sarah were the best nurses and I love this facility. Great experience!!!
M.
A very posh hospital, they had coffee and such in the waiting room, and everyone else looked super rich. The Chinese doctor here was very nice, I remember that he kept on complimenting me about my English haha.
D. T.
A great facility. Spotlessly clean, top-notch surgeons/doctors. Staff that go out of their way to be helpful, and that seem to genuinely care.
D. W.
Staff are very friendly and attentive. I wasn't kept waiting on any of my visits and the hospital is immaculate.
S. H.

The best hospital that I've ever attended. Great service. Excellent doctors.

Great stay. Should be called a hospitel. I really believe the NHS could be this good if politicians would leave it alone.
E. N.
Poor aftercare in my case, no communication between surgeon and nurses, came in with an infection after surgery and they asked me what they should do :S
R. F.
I was only here for consults and a few exams (no overnight stays), but found the service courteous and friendly, and practically no waiting, everything was on schedule.
H. A.
