I had seen other surgeons prior to meeting Mr James however as soon as I met him I knew he would be my choice. He made me feel very comfortable, has a lovely bedside manner and has been great throughout. Communication has been very easy and swift, his PA is also wonderful and brilliant at answering any questions. Pricing was very transparent from the beginning. The surgery itself went really well, and has honestly been life changing and I’m so happy with the results. Absolutely recommend Mr James wholeheartedly!

A true professional providing the best results. Upon initial consultation with Mr James I was immediately put at ease. Mr James was very informative and made me feel comfortable. Mr James is exceptionally caring and will give you an honest opinion ensuring your well being is paramount. I am two weeks post op (breast augmentation and abdominoplasty) and all I can say is wow! I feel and look great. My healing has been incredible. I can honestly say there has been no pain and virtually no bruising at all. My incisions are neat and there is minimal swelling. After suffering for years with lack of confidence due to pregnancy related loose skin and a deflated chest I finally feel happy and that’s down to Mr James and his excellent eye for detail as-well as his wealth of knowledge. Mr James and his team have been wonderful. Dr Dimitri Leschinskiy (consultant anaesthetist) met with myself prior to surgery and spoke in great detail about the pain management and offered excellent reassurance. What a lovely man and he sure did make the experience pain free and comfortable. We discussed how I suffer with post op nausea and car sickness and he made a plan to ensure this was well managed. The nurses at Blackheath are great. The nurse who cared for me after surgery was caring and kind and on my last day she came and checked on me to see how I was doing. Mr James has provided excellent post op care and is always reachable if you have any concerns. I would highly recommend Mr James if you want a natural look and a patient focused experience. He is a passionate and genuine guy. Thank you for giving me my confidence back.

Matthew James is an excellent surgeon, from initial consultation to surgery and aftercare follow-up, he clearly cares not just about performing outstanding surgery but about the patient also. He has performed a procedure on me and I can honestly say - I am truly thankful. He has also performed four procedures for my eighty five year old Mother over the last year, Mathew made her feel comfortable and relaxed, which is so important when in need of an operation (at an anxious time). Amazing results. I received treatment for a longstanding hand problem which I had previously ignored hoping it would just get better on it's own. AMAZING - I’m so happy with the results! I had breast augmentation & mastopexy on 5th Nov 19 after years of deliberation. I met Dr Matt through a friend of mine who had a breast Augmentation done by him 3 years ago. Actually he worked on 2 friends of mine and really did an amazing job. Prior to meeting him, i had had 2 separate consultations with 2 different surgeons in Germany in the last 5 years. They were good surgeons, but for whatever reasons, i just never went thru the procedure. I always backed out at the last minute. When i met Dr Matt, he just made me feel so comfortable. I knew that if i didn't go through my surgery with him, i wasn't ever going to do it. This was my last chance!. I booked my surgery for the 29th of October 2019, and i can say, i have never been happier! First of all, i got the best care from the nurses at Blackheath! I am healing really fast and well. 2 weeks after my surgery, my pain is gone! My breasts look so natural, just the way i wanted them to . My friends cant stop commenting at how amazing they look( yes i am showing off to them😁)..I am forever grateful for how much confidence Dr Matt has given me. I just wanted to say what an incredible experience I have had, being treated by Matthew James at Blackheath hospital. I have had a severely split ear lobe for 25 years and finally decided to seek advice on reparation. I saw Mr. James for a consultation two weeks ago: he rapidly assessed the need and, amazingly, completed the minor operation immediately that day. Matt James, you are fantastic, you have given me real confidence, after having a bilateral brow lift, and upper lid blepharoplasty I feel great, I just love my eyes, I can actually see an amazing difference in just a week. There is virtually no bruising and very little swelling, having this done in the minor op room under local anaesthetic is definitely the way forward. The procedure took just an hour to do. The 2 nurses that assisted you were also great. My stitches have been removed and the scaring is minimal., once again thank you, for also being so kind and very professional Wendy Chapman

5 weeks post op -breast augmentation from A to C. I cannot recommend Dr Matthew James highly enough. It took me almost 20 to finally go through with the operation, as I was always too scared to commit to the surgery in case something went wrong. After my initial consultation with Dr James, I knew straight away that I'm in safe hands. He made me feel very comfortable, very honest, thorough in explaining the pros and cons, answered all my questions and made the whole process feel really 'easy' (which it was to be honest). Didn't feel any pressure at all to commit to the surgery which was a big bonus for me. He gave me an option of sizes, and his recommendations and I'm very happy that I have listened to him rather than going too big (5 weeks later and I don't really feel that I had the surgery or that I have implants in (they feel so in sync with my body). My breasts look very natural, and I couldn’t be happier. The surgery itself went really well, staff at the Cadogan Clinic were really nice and carrying. Straight after the operation I felt fine, almost no pain, no bruising at all Incisions were really small and neat, few months and I probably won't even remember that they are there. Communication has been very easy and Tracey, his PA is also super nice and brilliant at answering any questions. Pricing was very clear from the beginning, no hidden costs. Dr James was recommended to me by my friend, and I would absolutely recommend him to everyone who is looking for natural results!
