I would highly recommend this MRI for anyone but particularly if who are claustrophobic. It was a very easy, comfortable experience. Excellent clinicians who explained everything and stayed in constant contact during the scans.

MRI scans at Medserena was a very good experience. Professional, explanation of procedure all the way through, good communication and information during all the different MRIs. It felt as if they were able to cover a lot with all the different positions and images, and having a TV in front to keep myself “busy” was very nice. Can highly recommend.

This is the second time I have had to bring my mother here for an MRI and both times I have been impressed by the service and patient care. She suffers a lot from chronic back pain and the whole process makes her anxious but all the staff were incredibly patient and professional from the minute we arrived; both times they have made it so much easier for her. Particular credit goes to Enea, the technologist, who was extremely kind but also knowledgeable. He really took his time to make sure my mother was comfortable and reassured. It is just a shame there are not more places like this.

Yesterday, I had have an excellent experience at Medserena Up Right MRI centre in London. The reception lady Joanna, she was lovely and make me feel very welcome. The Radiographer, name is Enea was very professional, sweet and kind, who also was very welcome and make me feel very comfortable, confident and pleasant during the MRI scan. The quality of hospitality is a high. I would recommended friends and family, and others.

Excellent people. all the staff were caring and helpful from my first contact with Joanna and Sharon during the booking process. On arrival they put me at my ease from the start and made what the prospect of being a rather traumatic event relaxing. When I was introduced to the radiographer Enea, he explain the whole process and any remaining apprehension I may have had just faded away. If you need an MRI this is the only place to go.

I have used the service at MEDSERENA for MRI and I am impressed with the way I was handled by the reception staff as well as the radiologist, I am severely claustrophobic so one of the team member decided to sit with me inside the MRI scanner room until my nerves settled. The upright MRI machine was very well equipped with the need of the hour. Overall I am so pleased with the overall procedure and a huge thanks to the team at MEDSERENA 👏👏

Being VERY claustrophobic and unable to go into normal MRIs, I am so glad I was able to have the open MRI. Although I was still anxious at first, the staff were amazing, I was really looked after and everything was explained step by step which really helped.

From the moment I arrived the service was superb and friendly and care was taken to see that my extreme claustrophobia was not woken by the procedure, which it was not. This was my first MRI and I was delighted it was going to be a standing, non enclosed one. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, and provided bottled water which was very welcome. The radiographer was a delightful young man, who explained everything very carefully and did his utmost to put me at my ease both before and during the scan. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful - radiologist made me feel at ease, constantly asking if I’m ok - was excellent I’ve had several open MRI’s over the years and this was definitely the best from start to finish. If you suffer with claustrophobia this is definitely the place to go.

Everything was explained clearly and it was clear that they wanted my to be completely comfortable before moving on to each step. Hopefully I can finally put an end to 15 years of shoulder pain. I had a great experience at this upright MRI centre. The staff are fantastic and make you feel at home right away. The reception and MRI scanner are both in good nick and you can even watch a DVD whilst you're having the scan. The report I received back from them was detailed and informative, and after receiving no answers for two years, has given me hope that I can solve my issues in the future.

such a relief i finally could do the mri , i tried the mri tunnel but just couldn’t do it . after finding medserena it was almost to good to be true . from the moment i walked in the building i felt comfortable. The staff was lovely and so reassuring. the lady who done my scan talked me though the whole scan and told me what was happening. thankyou so much for putting my mind at ease. The scan didn’t feel like 55 minutes i even got to watch mamma Mia and would of been fine watching the film until the end . once again thankyou great service all round . kelly Gray

Absolutely first-class. If you are claustrophobic this is the way forward - I had a long MRI, nearly and hour and a half, and felt absolutely relaxed. The staff are warm and welcoming and the lady who took my scan was reassuring and kind. I am deeply claustrophobic, so I cannot recommend this place more highly. They were also ultra efficient sending the report to my consultant and handing me a CD of the scan. If I have to have another MRI it will hold no fear!

An absolutely incredible service, underpinned by a brilliant team managing front of house and the operations manager Juliana Hyka. As a sufferer of claustrophobia I found myself unable to have utilise the regular MRI scanners, so after some research the Upright MRI process seemed a perfect fit for me. From the moment I arrived at reception, the team were brilliant, letting me know what to expect and instantly putitng me at ease. My appointment was on time and once the scanning facilities were cleaned I was taken inside by operations manager Juliana was absolutely incredible. Since posting this review I have had two scans over the past 10 days. One spinal scan and one head scan, with the head scan lasting around 50 minutes. Juliana reasured me throughout both processes, kept me fully updated on timings, progress and allowed for momentary pauses to ensure I was comfortable. I'd also advise not using earplugs which allows increased focuse on the film you choose to watch on DVD. The team clearly take pride in their work, the facility was spotless, service incredible and the customer engagement is some of the best I've experienced. I would recommend this to anyone who requires a scan, it's comfortable and allows you to relax in a spacious environment. All the best to the team and a BIG thanks from me. Tim

I would highly recommend this place to anyone requiring an MRI scan, especially anyone who is not thrilled at the prospect of spending half an hour in a narrow plastic tube (i.e. a traditional MRI scanner). The upright and open scanner here offers a much more pleasant experience. It may not be suitable for all scans, but the images (lumbar and spine in my case) were of very good quality and, according to my consultant, just as clear as a 'normal' scan. The staff were excellent, and the imaging report was sent to my consultant in two days.

Best MRI experience by a mile! I'm very claustrophobic and hate MRI's even in supposedly 'open scanners' This however, is a truly open scanner and very relaxed. Throw in first class service from al the staff (especially Enea the Radiographer) and it made for a wholly positive experience. Thoroughly recommended.

I'm so happy with this clinic, after years battling with disease (ME/CFS) and insulted and ignored by doctors, I finally got a diagnose using their upright MRI which is unique probably in Europe, and it shows clearly my condition in my neck, when NO OTHER doctor or health provider (and I have been to many many) could help. Service and staff are fantastic, they treat you with dignity unlike doctors, they deserve 6 stars. They changed my life for good. Few times you can say this, when you are battling with a beast like ME.
