Reviews of Molineux Street Walk-in Centre

Incredible service- speedy and polite . Even though it was football match day on a Saturday , me and my daughter were seen under half an hour (it was about under a 15 minute wait roughly). The nurse was so polite and kind. My daughter had been bit by the pet rat at Oeseburn Farm. Even though it turned out we didn’t need medication for it or a tetanus injection- the nurse cleaned the wound again. She also give us brilliant advice, a free teddy for my daughter Lilly and some bandages to take away. She was so kind to my daughter Lilly and very patient with her, even though she can be quite hyper . Best walk in I have ever been to. Outstanding 5*.

So so much better than the GP I registered with!! The nurses are very caring and they always check on you, and one of the nurses even help me to call an ambulance to transfer to hospital. Not waiting long, perfect place for emergency treatment! Thank you all!

Went in a couple of weeks ago for a case of tonsillitis. Lovely service from the reception team and a wonderful nurse. Can’t remember her name but she was very caring and spoke in a lovely soft tone which helped me a lot. Wait time wasn’t too long considering the time and i was expecting it to be longer for a case not so major. Would recommend

I went to the walk in dentist, I was treated with the upmost care. Had a tooth removed, I was a total whimp, but the dentist & the dental nurse were very kind. Thank you so much.

It is a shame they have got rid of the x-ray machine here. The wait times are always very long here. The nurse i saw was really good though and could not fault her.

Always clean and tidy needs air conditioning in the summer. Never had to wait for long.also I didn't know that they offer many different services there. X rays, different types of scans. Dental work, and thy also undertake minor surgery's it also accepts people who are not registered with their own doctor. It's like a drop in centre. It does get busy at times but the waiting times are not that bad.

I’ve just been to see the nurses at the shield field branch this morning.
They are always exceptional with me and know your family like old fashioned doctors did.
I was feeling extremely low and tearful, I left with a smile on my face after such comfort & care off a blonde, small in stature nurse with a light blue top on saw me.
Thanks

I've been to this walk in centre twice now, and both times had a pleasant experience. The nurses are lovely and friendly, and have been helpful. There is bound to be a wait, like any walk in centre, but as long as you go early in the morning during a weekday you'll get seen to quick.

Went yesterday for my 3 year old son, waited 2 hours to be seen but when we finally got seen to the nurse was lovely very helpful. The only thing is they need air conditioning in the waiting room was far to hot and when your little one has a fever of 39.2 it didnt help.

Attended a few days ago. Was very busy. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Would return.
Reading the two reviews below it seems people’s expectation of the nhs and what if offers are sometimes unrealistic. If you had a problem that you were prepared in the end to deal with yourself by visiting a pharmacy then why would you feel the need to wait two hours in what was probably a busy department. Surely an element of self responsibility has to come into play. Also with India having a high prevalence of malaria and having just returned from there as you stated with symptoms similar to malaria it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that you could have had malaria. I’d be thankful the nurse/doctor was aware enough to consider this and refered you to the appropriate service.

Seen by lovely nurse Lyndsey, a very positive & cheery young lady who efficiently dealt with my problem, didn’t have to wait more than half an hour we have a fantastic nhs, very lucky to be seen in such a short time, much better than my local gp can always get an appointment even if you have to wait, some people in other countries have to walk miles to get to see a doctor. We don’t say this enough but Thanks NHS!!.

Went here yesterday to see a nurse. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, efficient and focused on the patients. I know the heath service has problems but this is the NHS at its best. Long may it continue.
