Located at the perfect spot only about 10 minutes walk away from new Street station/bullring. Room was very clean and had all the amenities that I needed. It was perfect for staying one night.

It was great to see how this pub has been transformed . Since the new manager Steve has taken over things have improved massively . The food is great , staff are extremely helpful and the communal areas , toilets and rooms are decorated to a modern high standard . Would highly recommend . Great collection of gins and Prosecco is lovely 😊

Had a beer in the bar and stayed the night in one of the rooms. The space in the room was limited but adequate. It looked clean and were happy with the amenities.

Nipped in here for a drink whilst in Brum for Hammerfest at The O2 over the road.
It's an olde-worlde type place with TVs everywhere.
Appears to be a bit of a locals spot but the staff were friendly.
Will definitely drink here again.

Went in after there full Refurb on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Looked really nice but was surprised at the lack of selection of draught beers on offer.. ordered 2 pints, coffee and 2 cheeseburgers and cheeseburger with bacon and portion of chips. The Latte was very strong so we asked for it to be diluted with water or more milk, the staff member didn’t seem to happy as she had to put her coffee mitts back on 🙈 after 6 or 7 mins the burgers arrived! All 3 cheeseburgers no bacon. Admittedly they were tasty, but when asked we queried with the chef no bacon he said he’d forgotten, at least he was honest.. the chips arrived hot and were adverage. The beer went down a treat, they have menus next to bar which state £2.50 for cheeseburgers but after questioning the bill the barmaid said this was the breakfast takeaway menu ? She should of surely corrected us, but as she had only been there 2 weeks she openly admitted.. at least the staff are honest and refunded our 50p overcharge for the bacon… nice surroundings and looked nicely done out despite the odd few annoying quirks… I would of thought being quiet they would be on the ball and would of been spot on.. god help them
When they get bizzy 🙈

Had an excellent breakfast for the second time here today. Really cheap and high quality. Friendly staff. The restaurant is really nice as well, loads of tables and a stylish backroom with loads of cool painting and photos.

The Wellington offers keenly priced rooms in a perfect location for the gay village. Some rooms ensuite and some use a shared bathroom. Cheap and cheerful, but unfortunately this is likely to be our last stay as the owners are retiring shortly and hotel has an uncertain future. We have stayed here many times over the years.

The Proprietors of this establishment make you feel like you are part of the family, home from home. The patrons are friendly and welcoming. They also have a bijou function room which accommodates an AmDram group called Acting Out, whose recent performance, A Nightmare on Bristol Street, was outstanding and gratuitous. With donations gratefully accepted but not required at the end of the performance. It would be remiss of anyone visiting the area to not go to The Wellington if for no other reason than to sample their renowned full English breakfast.

My husband and I just spent a weekend in Birmingham and have to say this is one of the friendliest bars we have drank in. Being a straight couple we felt very welcome and what a laugh we had. The two landlords are a blast!! Thanks both xxx
