Extremely comfortable beds. Fantastic power shower. Very clean and tidy room. Amazing breakfast. Great location. The electrics fused as soon as we got into the room, but it was fixed almost immediately. Jay the receptionist was great, sorted the electrics and fixed the signal to the TV. Overall extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely clean room, good breakfast although a little chaotic. My Food Saturday night, chicken burger, was a lot to be desired. I was given a free snack and soft drink in compensation but would if rather had my £12.95 back. My husband had a pizza which was lovely. This place is excellent for the City centre and the Arena where we were attending. Staff were excellent too.

Lovely, clean hotel. Staff helpful. Breakfast good quality, waffles were a welcome treat!
Room spacious and well presented. Own car park was helpful.
Good, central location made everything easy to find.
Overall, good value for money and would use again.

A delightful 2 night stay free of problems and stress. Just what is required for a pleasant peaceful stay. Comfortable room and bed. Complimentary toiletries with powerful hot shower. Excellent choice and quality for breakfast. Helpful staff. Also had sole use of small gym before breakfast on both mornings. Lift service quick, check out fast. Parking £12pn adjoining hotel. Quiet when we were there. Great location for canals, restaurants, Sea Life Centre and Birmingham Arena. New tram route passes in front of hotel.
TV signal not good enough for viewing. Limited storage for longer stays.

Liked - The hotel was in a very good location and the room was a very nice size with a comfortable chair and foot rest. The bed was very comfortable and cozy..we had excellent nights sleep. Room service was very efficient but could have left more sugar in the tea and coffees.
Disliked - Unfortunately, I found the breakfast disappointing, it was luke warm every day we ate and we were there for 4 days, the scrambled eggs were watery and there was a lack of variety of breakfast cereals. The bathroom sink was unsuitable for people who are short in size. I am 4ft 11" and found it difficult to reach the sink bowl as it was too far back, therefore I had to lean forward everytime I wanted to wash my hands or brush my teeth. I was also shocked at the response to a fire alarm that went off before we checked out. We made our way downstairs and saw a staff member on the third floor. I asked if we should evacuate and she said yes, we need to stay in reception. There was only a few visitors in the reception area but there was no communication from any of the staff, to let us know what was going on or even if we were allowed to return to our rooms. After we no longer heard the alarms going off, we approached the reception and waited for a member of staff as they had all left. When the receptionist returned I asked if we were allowed to return to our rooms, she then said off course. I would really hate to think if this happened at a time when the hotel was full, that this would be the response.

Great location, rooms and breakfast good for the price. Loved the power shower. Only thing I would say is I checked in online the night before and the hotel was not packed with so many empty rooms but still could not get into the room in the morning just to dump my bags which I can't understand why.

Good locations/breakfast nice/ good value - but I feel not as good as the few times we have stayed before!! The hotel a little bit tired and staff seem a bit deflated!! Maybe due to covid so hopefully can be sorted!!

When associated with Hilton Hotels you would expect luxury or at least a touch of class not here! There isn't even a fridge in the room. I was woken at 3am by the lights from the buildings opposite as there were no curtains. On closer inspection in the morning I noticed a black out blind although, as it was fully up it wasn't apparent at 3am! Breakfast was ok so I would probably stay there again although, not if the Premier Inn was cheaper as they are pretty much the same.
J. S.
Stopped here to attend a local event, price was very reasonable and included breakfast, would stop here again.
Tip: Go for breakfast before 9, we went down for 9.30 and it was busy and not much left. Our own fault as in the lift there was signs but didn’t noticed until after.
J. M.
Check in was easy enough and fast. Spacious, comfortable room. But we could have done with a torch as 2 of the ceiling lights were not working one of the above the beds was not working and the hallway into the bedroom area had no lighting either.
Bed was comfortable Breakfast was good although the orange juice was questionable and was mostly water, clearly forgotten to add the orange juice. Previous Hampton stays have been much better.

Stayed here whilst attending Hammerfest at The O2, chose it primarily due to the secure parking (£12 per day) & bar proximity.
The car park is accessed from Tennant Street, which runs past the rear of the hotel parallel to Broad Street.
Apart from having to wait due to a lack of staff, reception was great.
There are four lifts, but the hotel have chosen to disable the facility that forces you to tap with your room card before selecting a floor (why?).
I was on the 16th floor & the room was as I expected, it had a small safe & a bit of storage, & the shower room with fab walk-in shower was ace.
Didn't eat or drink here apart from at breakfast, food was okay & the staff were excellent, I was able to order veggie sausages.
The fitness room was okay but the heaviest dumbbell was only 4kg...
A good spot overall, Id definitely stay here again
R. S.
Liked - central location to Brindley Place and a 10 minute walk to Bullring, room has all the basics incl. TV & kettle. We stayed on the 9th floor so had pleasant views of the city. Staff were helpful and attentive at Reception. Good variety of food at breakfast. Sound-proofing was effective at blocking out the nightlife noise and adjoining rooms.
Disliked;
- walls were visibly dusty
- the hot water tap/shower caused a horrendous screeching noise in the pipes, not ideal for light sleepers!
- One of the bath towels was stained
- The bathroom door didn't shut properly or lock.
- The curtains let in a lot of light at night so had to get changed in the bathroom in fear of the neighbouring buildings looking in
M.
Very nice breakfast, great choice of porridges, pastry, hot food, fruits and vegetables. There are also hot and soft drinks available. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a TV and kettle in the room, with good choice of teas and coffees. We got a room in the top floor with amazing view. However, the sink in the bathroom was a bit blocked, but overall the shower was working well.
K. B.
Booked this hotel as it was a short walk from Symphony Hall where we were going to a concert. It was amazing value for money. Email correspondence before checking in with relevant info was greatly appreciated. Check in was quick and efficient with friendly staff. Our room was on the top floor (17th) and we spent a lot of time at the window looking at the view which was snow covered. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast had a fantastic choice of both hot and cold food. Would definitely use this hotel again when in the area

Pros:
- Central location especially for visiting the Utilita Arena
- Hotel has its own car park (although £12 per day)
- Great customer service from Lee and Martina: Lee was super helpful at check-in and Martina in the restaurant was friendly and took the time to show me what was suitable for vegans/veggie for breakfast
- Good buffet breakfast - coffee was excellent, soya milk provided
- Clean room
Cons
- Biggest negative was noise - we spent 2 nights (room 811) and didn’t get a single night’s decent sleep - Friday night we were woken by loud guests and the plumbing. Saturday night was worse with constant drumming from the surrounding nightclubs/bars
- Problem with plumbing - every time someone uses the sink or has a shower there’s a very loud, howling noise. When I asked at reception I was told this was due to the hotel closure from the pandemic which affected the plumbing. Initially I was sympathetic, but I checked reviews on Tripadvisor and there are complaints about the plumbing/pipe noises dating back to April 2019 - way before lockdown, so I feel this was insincere
- Minor issues with bedroom which are quick fixes - toilet seat completely loose, bathroom door lock broken, black mould around shower sealant
- Inconsistent customer service
Feedback for hotel management:
- Fix the plumbing/pipework! This should not be an ongoing issue since 2019
- Offer ear-plugs or make customers aware that noise is expected from the plumbing/pipes and on a Saturday night from the clubs
- Small fixes can make a big difference - mould on sealant, loose toilet seats - have some basic room checks in place
- Customer service training/refresher training needed for a few members of staff
- More veggie/vegan options for breakfast
- Have some signs asking guests to be considerate of others (noise in the early hours)

It was OK/good
Good points
Room was very clean and tidy, staff were super helpful and polite and we were made to feel very welcome.
Bad points.
Lights out in the room along with some bits that really need touching up.
Breakfast wasn't great at all, for a hilton not impressed for hotel it was nice.
J. C.
Our room while OK, to me wasn't at a standard that you would expect given the name of the hotel.
The location is perfect for city breaks and the breakfast is a good quality.
The room was clean, but was lacking in USB slots and not sure I like the glass toilet door! Somethings need to be private! 🤭🤫😳
G. C.
Good city centre location with cheap secure car park (£12 for 24 hours), nice decor and clean room, although the water pipe is a bit noisy when you use the shower. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, but due to staff shortage the restaurant was not available when we were going to have dinner, the breakfast service was very good and enjoyable though. We've only stayed for one night on a Sunday, all in all it was a good value for money.

Value For Money
Positioned on Broad Street conveniently close to the Utilita Arena and canal area. The hotel itself offers bed and breakfast at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. We parked in the hotel car park for an additional fee. Unfortunately only one lift seemed to go to the carpark, so we used the stairs instead. The reception area and restaurant are on the third floor. The entrance is on the ground floor and could maybe do with security to stop drunks entering from the street. The bedroom had a sticker across the door telling us it had been cleaned. This seems superfluous and created needless plastic pollution, with some stickers literring and sticking to the hallway carpet.
L. P.
Great hotel to stay at. The location is perfect for the Birmingham arena, Bullring and all the clubs and pubs on Broad Street. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. If I stay again I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel, away from Broad Street, as the noise at the front was ridiculous. Didn't get to sleep until 4.15 am when the pumping music stopped!
Z. C.
Great central location to shops and restaurants. Some issues with our room, such as several lights that were not working and a blocked bathroom drain! The hotel was also very crowded and this resulted in long queues at breakfast time, no priority was given to families or those with young babies either. Plus clearly no social distancing policy in place. Otherwise a fairly good hotel location wise 👍
M. A.
Value for money. Breakfast is really nice and rooms are cosy. Staff is polite and helpful - asked for a hair dryer and an employee brought one to my room after 10 minutes. Only negative is that when you take a shower or simply use the sink the noise can be heard like 3 rooms away :P
M. I.
Reasonably priced hotel right in the middle of the city. Roadworks meant the road was closed which was really nice as people could stroll between the many bars and food places within very short distance. It's a decent walk to Birmingham New Street but the with the tram coming this could be made easier shortly. Reception was on the 3rd which still confuses me but was nice as you can just return to your room without passing every body waiting. Room.was a good size and clean. Overall a good stay as with most Hilton hotels.
f. i.
Good place to stay... comfortable rooms, not far from the city centre with good restaurants on the high street and parking space in the bottom two floors.
s. l.
Great food great staff and excellent rooms.
Best prices we found. Highly recommended.
F. B.
I have used this hotel on many occasions and found it excellent for my needs. Unfortunately on my last stay the room maintenance was very poor.
There was no body wash, no hand wash, light bulbs needed changing, no hairdryer (not a problem for me) and a broken shower head.
It took 3 requests over 24 hours to get the shower head replaced. Reception staff were excellent reported the problems immediately to housekeeping. The response from housekeeping was poor.
I hope on my next visit this will be sorted out.
S. D.
Bedroom were very big and spacious. Very comfortable beds (main thing!) and very clean. Bit basic but what else do you want!
Staff were friendly.
S. J.
We had a warm welcome and our request for a lower level floor was taken in to account and its exactly what we got.
Room was great, bed was comfy and shower was amazing.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
Great value for money for our 2 night stay. Will definitely stay again.
E. S.
Sadly the room I was in was quite noisy hence the 2 stars being removed. Old AC or plumbing creating a constant and very audible whine (1307).
Another annoyance is checking in and using your phone as a key. You still need a key card to slot into the room to turn the electricity on, which created another trip back down to reception. It’s the little things….
I. Y.
Always been a good hotel experience for me the Hampton by Hilton hotel, on Broad Street, Birmingham. Always clean and comfortable, good sized rooms, comfy beds and a nice clean shower room. Everything you need really at a reasonable price.
G. W.
Great hotel on Broad Street so very close to the city centre and it offers parking. Comfy rooms and a good included buffet breakfast.
Good value and would definitely recommend.
w. s.
Hotel spotless and a good welcome at check in. The roads to the hotel front are all closed due to tramway being installed. Parked on the carpark at the rear of the hotel. Only negatives were the curtains in the rooms are completely see through letting in all the light. Breakfast ok but not hilton standard.
S. F.
Honestly just ok- the staff is really nice but a few things let it down like for example the room was alright but no refresh of the cups from one day to the next (nor the tea tray itself). Ok for a night or two but that’s it.
M. B.
Staff all good, breakfast good. Rooms ok, comfortable enough and wasn't expecting much. Not entirely obvious as to where the car park was, especially as roads around the hotel are all closed. Main issue as mentioned in other reviews was the noise in the rooms, the plumbing noise when other rooms using taps, showers etc was impossible to sleep through, and was constantly noisy at all times. Bring good earplugs. People complaining about it at checkout so there seemed little point kicking off but generally avoid if you're any sort of light sleeper.
L. A.
Nice hotel, the only issues were noisy pipes when others are using hot water, and no fridge in the room. Apart from that, decent wi-fi speed and the breakfast selection was good. Friendly staff.
L. ‘. P. C.
Great value given the location, and when you consider how much time you spend in them not much more is needed. Car park is located beneath the hotel which is some floors higher than the street level. Car park is reached by driving down road the runs parallel to broad street. Reception, bar and serviced all on one floor and across the width of the hotel. Currently undergoing some refurb work, didn’t effect our stay. Rooms are ok, we had a duplex and whilst a little tired it was good enough for our visit. Will stay again for sure.
T. B.
Nice hotel great for parking you walk straight into hotel great staff...lovely clean fresh rooms..... breakfast a choice for everyone.
J. R.
Seems nice enough, left work late came to room. Its clean and room is nice. If breakfast is pants ill adjust score haha
j. q.
Have to admit after reading some recent reviews that I was worried about staying here, that worry was misplaced.
Rooms exactly as you would expect, spotless and equipped as you would expect.
Breakfast was a change to normal practices due to covid, you had to book a time but there didn't seem to be any method of taking into account table sizes so being seated was a bit of a palaver but the greeter was fabulous and did her best to seat everyone.
Breakfast was good usual breakfast for Hampton by Hilton.
Parking at hotel was fairly easy but appeared to have limited spaces so would plan for a backup plan just in case.
Will use again.
M. W.
Lovely room. Very friendly reception staff. Even on the 14th floor could hear the music from the club below. Breakfast great lots if choice
E. N.
It was quite a long walk from the nearest train station to the hotel. The rooms were clean and affordable. I enjoyed the breakfast, which is popular with staying guest at this hotel. Excellent Customer Service.
t. z.
The hotel itself is good and in good location The only bad thing about it Is the noise coming from the water pipes which you can't sleep in if someone next door is staying the use the toilet or shower Middle of night.
Breakfast is amazing.
K. D.
We had a great stay. The Reception staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is in a great location for anyone wishing to stay close to the Arena etc.
a. q.
Good clean hotel. Stayed 5 nights. Good breakfast. Only problem was the shower drain kept blocking and shower over head was leaking. Friendly staff.
A. S.
Friendly staff and cozy rooms. Reception and breakfast can get crowded, but staff enthusiasm makes up for it. Location is a few minutes walk from ICC and city center.
A. F.
really good location. despite the centrality the room was quiet and comfortable. very good value with very friendly and competent staff
C.
great staff could not ask for a more welcoming and hospitable stay, staff were amazing and will definitely be coming back. great weekend made even better by this hotel.
A. S.
We where happy at this hotel. Everything was close by. There was nandos. Cinema. Bus stop going into town all near by. A taxi from hotel to train station 5 mins away. Breakfast was brilliant. Piping hot. A telephone in the room was good to. Thank u. Will be back again.. Ang

Friendly staff, clean room, good service, and delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. We'll comeback soon.

Warm, clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast, helpful staff, really enjoyed our stay, thank you 😊

Good central location, very convenient for bullring, mailbox, restaurants, bars and Birmingham Arena. Very good breakfast and secure hotel parking.
L. R.
Clean, well fitted rooms. Friendly welcoming staff
I. F.
Comfy bed and amazing breakfast offer. Very friendly staff. Air con system is pretty noisy.
S. C.
excellent standard of the rooms, helpful staff good amenities.
comfortable bed

Me and my friend had a great stay at this hotel. We were on floor 16 which I would definitely recommend as we couldn't hear any noise from the street which was extremely busy. Note to guests is that the reception is on 3rd floor so you might be a bit confused when you first enter hotel. Check in was super easy and you can also book your breakfast time while checking in, we were booked for 10.45 which I wouldn't recommend as we found out the next morning, the hot breakfast stops at 11. So I wouldn't book anything later than 10. The rooms were very clean and we had no issues apart from the shower having pretty weak pressure but it wasn't too bad of an issue unless you're super picky. For the price we paid and with breakfast included it was the perfect hotel and would stay again.
i. l.
Not a bad hotel for a good price some rooms are very noisy due to lots of clubs on Broad Street
T. A.
I loved this hotel. The staff were very caring and friendly and I enjoyed my stay.
D. U.
Room and hotel are modern, clean and nice. Staff a little less friendly than they could be. Good breakfast selection and hotel in an ok location for the city, even better once the trams are running.
R. J.
It was OK. There was a lot of noise coming from the pipes in other rooms throughout the night..... A high pitched hum until about 3am.
Great location for and great breakfast just don't expect a good night's sleep.
E. E.
5* lovely hotel and staff bit disappointed that I had to pay double the price only 30minute after the customer before me because of high demand and then not to have a space to book a table for breakfast ,
C. B.
Nice hotel good location but was woken up by housekeeping knocking my room door when I wanted a lie in. Got an apology but that did not repair my broken sleep sadly.
K. P.
Good clean, business hotel. Great location with easy access to restaurants and the canal side. Choice of food and drink in the hotel was poor.
A.
Good location, breakfast included and good value. However, the Dettol Wipes that literally every other Hilton property I’ve stayed in since Covid (and hotels I’ve stayed in since this visit) has in the lobby, were all empty and reception had none.
My room wasn’t great - mould, no plug for the lamp on the desk (unplugged in the picture was how it was when I checked in), the security catch on the door was the wrong way round so unusable, the fire door outside my room kept banging shut until they wedged it open with beer mats.
T. S.
Good value, check in on third floor so anyone can wonder in and use the lifts though....
K. W.
Got a great price for a 1 night stay including breakfast. Room was a nice size and very clean. The bathroom had a big shower. Service and choice at breakfast was fab
R. D.
A very nice hotel good facilities and a great location.
P. S.
I have nothing but praise for this excellent hotel. Located in central Birmingham, it offers easy access around the city.
Reception staff are very friendly & helpful, as are the breakfast team too.
Accommodation is spotless & well maintained, thanks to Head Housekeeper, Amanda, & her team. Rooms only have showers, which is perfect for me. Flat screen tv and tea/coffee making facilities too. Simply put, absolutely nothing negative, and I wasn’t looking for anything either!
Breakfast is self service & plentiful. Cannot fault it. It’s included in all room rates.
Broad Street is currently shut off, & will only allow trams, so taxis will make you walk. However, give the driver the post code to drop you off in the car park (B15 1EY).
This is a 17 story building, so if you don’t like heights, ask for a low floor.
M. H.
Good location
Staff really good
Nice rooms
Breakfast great
S. A.
Arrived to check in , staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was ok but I felt it was not clean enough. Room was very warm so AC had to be on all night . Free WiFi available. The bathroom looked dated, and we were given the disability ensuite which we didn't ask for ? .I didn't like the shower as the water took forever to get warm . Breakfast was again OK, good choice. The hot food didn't look appetising. The croissants were fresh and there was variety of cereals . Good location and there was cinema complex , food places and grocery store nearby . Onside car packing available but there was slightly cheaper NCP couple of minutes away .
a. R.
I had a good experience, didn't do much so not much to review. The guy working the bar was great he was funny and completely approachable which helped a lot with my anxiety. The breakfast buffet was also pretty good cause I had to go to work firm there a couple times and having something to eat or take with me was super helpful and appreciated.
K. P.
Love staying at this hotel when I visit Birmingham. Its clean and spacious staff are great and location is good too.
Only reason I put 4stars instead of five is because we had a couple of issues with the bathroom which caused an inconvenience as I was halfway through my shower but saying that the staff wasted no time in moving us to another room and it hasnt put me off using this hotel at all. Complimentary breakfast is really lovely too and the fact it has its own car parking is absolutely winner for me.
Would definitely recommend a stay.
a. k.
Lovely hotel in good location. Bang in the middle of so many shops and entertainment.
Good service and nice room sizes and facilities
H. M.
Really nice clean tidy room loved that the shower controls were up the walk in end. A small but thoughtful add in. The bed was comfy and i had a good nights aleep.. Breakfast was delicious and the self service was qell run and stocked.
M. W.
Excellent location. Clean and covid aware. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful
N. D.
Disappointing stay. Noisy guests and hot breakfast was lukewarm. I was also charged a £30 deposit on top of my room charge (which was paid at the same time). This was not properly explained to me what it was for and I have not yet been refunded it. The room was clean and hotel centrally located in Birmingham City centre.
G. -. M.
It was very a very nice place to stay and the staff were lovely but the tap and the shower made a lot of of noise which was quite annoying. Despite that it was good 👍
P. C.
Overrall it was a good experience. Very friendly staff, rooms are clean and modern. The only point I would not give 5 stars is the breakfast that is ok. Not many options and the croissant was not that good. Definitely, I would stay again at this hotel.
A. J.
Good location in clean hotel.
Not so good points.
1) Shower has very little water pressure and tap is far more powerful.
2) if you book on a site like booking.com it offers parking but not clear this is £12.
3) also reception try and charge a breakages deposit again not clear when booking.
M. S.
Great Central location in Birmingham. Compliments to management and staff as the service from everyone encountered was friendly and efficient. Rooms are an ok size, clean and modern, with good beds and showers. Only niggle - small pillows.
R. B.
Excellent in every way.
Accommodation, comfortable and clean rooms.
Very personable service.
j. d.
Rooms are very modern and large, beds are comfy..... Biggest down fall is anything that uses water in the room makes a horrendous noise almost like an air lick in pipes vibrating through the room, such as the shower, taps and toilet
K. B.
Great hotel, unbelievable value, friendly and helpful staff and a plentiful and tasty breakfast, fabulous!

Good location
Fantastic buffet breakfast (ask for veggie options)

Not my first time staying at this hotel. Excellent for parking car. And generally a good all round experience. I will use again when next in town.
S. G.
Very clean room, easy to park despite the ongoing works outside, helpful staff,
C. G.
Convenient location, great helpful staff, clean and comfortable and good breakfast. Also reasonably priced. What more can one ask for?
Brilliant hotel
J. T.
Staff are incredible there for me. This is how customer service should be when staying in a hotel. Breakfast lady, receptionists and the cleaners all smiles and helpful
A. M.
Centrally located to entertainment, restaurants and shopping. Clean, bright and spacious rooms but squeaky floors, loud noisy pipes/taps and a rude reception at checking in let down the hotel.
f. r.
Great hotel to stay in, clean, great staff and the breakfast was amazing
C. K.
My stay here was good I had good night sleep very clean room lovey breakfast
Amazing Staff And great views from our room and definitely
Stay here Again 👍🏻

Brilliant position, clean, breakfast excellent, staff friendly
S. B.
Lovely and clean hotel in edgbaston. Breakfast was outstanding. As a family we all absolutely loved it. Slept well and are well. Thank you
T.
The room was spotless, really comfy bed.The shower was lovely & all products were on the shower wall for guest use (shower gel, shampoo & conditioner). The breakfast was superb, fantastic choice of hot & cold food & there was even a waffle …
E. M.
Check in took a long time but the rooms were lovely breakfast was nice and central location
G. G.
Decent location - windows pretty decent at keep out most of the noise from all the pubs / clubs on the road. Not all blocked but sufficient to sleep. Near to the Arena, which was my reason for booking.
Droning noise all night from the air con or something, I switched it off. Could change the temperature in the room and it was a bit cold.
Breakfast was plentiful but not very warm.
Arrived 1445, could book in from 1400, given keys, all the way up, room not cleaned - had to come back for another room. Staff on the desk were helpful
Great quick taxi service - asked at the desk and by the time i got into the car park a car was there.
Bed was comfortable and I had a decent nights sleep. For a city centre the price wasnt bad at all.
M. M.
Stayed here for a business trip, reception is on the 3rd floor, there are 4 lifts that a available. Reception are very fast and polite as expected. Rooms are good size clean and well set up. Pillows are a little on the thin and cheap side. Breakfast are buffet style and have loads of options. Conference rooms are good size and accessible. If I was running a business session I would chose one of the hotels down the road as better set up but for leisure short stay was perfect. Fairly close to main centre 10/ 15 min walk. There is a car park but it is expensive the public multi up the road at five ways is cheaper if staying for the week and only a couple of min walk.
M. D.
Think it is overpriced for what you get the plumbing is very noisy woken up very early by the room next door taking a shower
A. B.
Positives
- Good location for the nightlife
- amazing breakfast
- does have some fitness equipment
Negatives
- lots of noise from other guests
- lots of noise from the water pipes (I think)
- lots of noise from the lifts
- shower was completely broken
- no snacks with the tea making stuff
- limited facilities
- fitness centre was tiny
A. P.
Warm, clean and tidy. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
R. D.
Your hotel rooms are spotless and the beds are really comfy. My only fault is bed duvet is way too thin for the Winter months. Also a noisy fan system kept us awake for most of the night. Other than this your staff are really polite friendly and helpful. The choice for breakfast buffet style was outstanding. Exceptionally clean dining area wit plenty of seating and clean tables. Would stay again if you could provide warmer duvet and have system for isolating the fan in the rooms
J. G.
Fabulous hotel has everything you need staff are fabulous and friendly 🙂 really happy with our stay huge rooms big beds and fantastic range of food fabulous breakfast.5***** close to the bullring and Brinkley place where all the restaurants are and Broadway where the peaky blinders pub is and 5 ways very central location.we are definitely coming back
I. J.
Great place to stop when having a night out in Broad Street.
J. H.
After a bit of miscommunication on my part we had a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly and very patient. The room was clean and warm. The breakfast we had was your standard continental but was lovely. The hotel itself is in a good, central area. We hope to visit again
J. B.
Pretty decent hotel in Birmingham. It's clean and tidy. Very convenient location as you can access Broad Street and the City Centre. Happy with my stay.
L. H.
Tastefully decorated, lovely modern bathroom with a proper shower instead of a bath, comfortable bed. Fantastic buffet breakfast area and bar. Could have easily been a 5 star review, but the plumbing lets this hotel down. 4 of us were staying (in 4 rooms) for work. One of my colleagues had to call reception as he had no water at all when turning on the shower. A few minutes later they called back and asked him to try again, and it was fine. I was woken up at 7am by the noise of pipe vibrations above my head. Went to shower and the drainage is so poor that I had to keep turning the shower off to prevent the tray from overflowing and flooding the bathroom. My colleague had the same issue. I would still prefer to stay here over the other hotels on Broad Street though!

pleasant stay nice breakfast comfortable room clean
W. T. S.
Noise woke us up in the morning. Que for breakfast was astronomically long and with no room service due to covid restrictions we had to leave without brekki. Apart from that it was decent.
M.
Very friendly staff, good range at breakfast, pleasant staff, fairly good location, value for money.
Needs key access in lift to access rooms for better security. I had thought …
S. W.
Comfortable stay in a pleasant room. Food was decent. Location perfect for the Arena, with plenty of nightlife also in the area. Once they've finished digging up the road for the trams, getting around will be even easier 👍

Ok this hotel is just perfect, very well priced, extremely clean, tidy & well the most amazing thing for our stay was the air conditioning as we stayed on the hottest day ever!!! Hotel were brilliant & kept key cards in the room so we were greeted by a gorgeous cool room. Breakfast very good & stay very friendly. Only one slight negative point which was the entrance to the hotel from the street but once up in the lifts , you couldn’t fault it. Thank you for our stay!!
J. B.
Rooms were clean and breakfast was delivered every morning. The downside was the hotel tried to charge us £150 for smoking in the room in the afternoon and when challenged for proof and evidence they couldn't provide any (we were out all day) also they tried to charge us twice for the second night even tho we provided evidence of payment
j. M.
Second time of staying here. Was a friend’s birthday so a few of us were staying. The rooms are great - good size, spotlessly clean bathroom, tea/coffee etc....
Check-in staff where friendly and helpful and service with a smile even when as busy as they were.
I asked if it would be possible if later that evening a few of us let in the reception to give friend birthday cake, presents, bubbly etc and they were very accommodating even providing us with glasses and napkins in exchange for a slice of cake!!!
For the hotel being on one of the busiest streets with bars and clubs the rooms felt like they were well away from the hustle and bustle and calm and relaxing and no hint of the noise from the street below.
K. G.
Hotel location was perfect for me. On-site parking also a bonus. Reception staff were very polite, courteous and professional. Restaurant was clean, well staffed and the food (breakfast) was fresh, plentiful and well presented. My room on the 16th floor was very clean and tidy. Will definately use again.
P. B.
Great value for money hotel. Location is decent for nightlife and only a five minute walk to the Mailbox. Rooms are compact but have everything you could possibly need. As gold members we were given water, chocolate and sweets on arrival and given a room on the top floor with great views. Unfortunately we missed breakfast so no idea how good it is. Staff are friendly, would happily stay again.
P. R.
Fantastic great rooms breakfast is amazing
S. H.
We stayed for one night after a concert and it was a lovely experience. Friendly staff clean room with every thing you need. The breakfast choice was brilliant. Staying again next week. Would highly recommend
L.
Clean, spacious & helpful staff.
Shower did not drain off & overflowed into bathroom, was not fixed when asked.
Broken remote control. …
B.
We stayed in this hotel for just 1 night.
The room was large and well furnished, reception staff was nice as well and the breakfast buffet was well furnished.
Small issues the would need fixing include a clugued sink, not well tucked bed sheet, poor quality shampoo, poor quality sausages on the buffet and some breakfast tables were not in good shape, ours was rocking quite a lot and we had to change twice. Plus no feedback asked for when we left the hotel so no ambition from them to improve.
Overall we had a good stay but next time I'll go to another place.
A. K.
Great staff and lovely service.
The service that I received from your staff has been friendly and on more than one occassion overwhelming with gratitude and hospitality.
The customer experience I received are above and beyond. The level of service was higher than I experienced at other hotels. Your team's ability to listen to my needs and turn those needs into reality is remarkable and something I will never forget, your staff in particular always treat me like a family.
A special thanks to the management for instilling a true customer oriented focus but I am treated like valued special guest. My experience from beginning to end is always superior. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my visit but I wish you continued success and ask you to thank your staff for 'making a difference.
C. T.
Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable - plenty of electrical sockets which is something a lot of hotels don't seem to have. Breakfast was good too. Pity the air conditioning wasn't working efficiently otherwise would be scoring 5*
G. M.
Rooms were lovely, clean and decently sized considering they were relatively cheap. had a cool thing where you can open the room from an app on your phone if you're close by however it takes an absolute age to load the app so if you wanna use it you have to have your phone out loading the app on your way into the hotel. Not far at all from the bull ring or hippodrome which we were headed to. Breakfast was great, fancy sausages, clearly not like the cheapest food they could possibly find, it was decent breakfast. Overall great
L. B.
We always have a great experience in this hotel! Staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are clean and comfortable and the free breakfast has a vast range of tasty options. We have the app which is super helpful for checking in and out too. Thanks guys!
C. S.
Receptionist was very polite and gave us a choice of what floor we wanted to stay on and complimentary bottles of water on arrival.
Couple of downsides;
Lack of room service, which was a shame as we wanted some drinks whilst getting ready for our night out.
Parking was over a tenner which seemed a lot considering we were staying at the hotel? Expected this to either be included or reduced for hotel guests.
Those aside, room was lovely and clean.
There was 24 hour bar which also served some food late which was good.
Overall great stay and very friendly staff for a reasonable price.
j. b.
Very comfortable room, beds great, room clean and bright.
Reception very busy in morning
Breakfast was really disappointing, overcooked bacon, horrible sausage, artificial egg! Included in the rate but I wish we had skipped it and gone elsewhere
At £120 for a Wednesday night, I'd hardly call it budget either!
P. D.
Nice, huge, 24 hour bar and good snacks. Add £12 to room price for parking.
D. F.
A nice clean room with full climate control, perfect for when it is really warm outside. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer in my room which is a nice touch. Tea and coffee available in your room with a kettle again a nice touch.
The real mark of a good hotel is a good night's sleep and I slept well No noise at all which is a great plus.
The staff were also quite friendly which really makes a difference when you are alone and away from home. The regulars are also friendly, had a pleasant breakfast with another guest who stays here 3 days a week.
The only disappointment was no black pudding in the breakfast. But suppose the regular guests might prefer cerial, pastries etc.
I was staying on business but would definitely be happy to stay here again if I was passing. Didn't get the chance to use the gym but who knows, maybe next time.
D. M.
Stayed here for a couple of nights. Great location friendly and approachable staff. Room was ok, but a few small things could do with fixing to keep the standards up. Noisy boiler cupboard in our room and wifi was poor. Breakfast was lovely, lots on the menu. Would be nice if parking was free I would stay here again.
J. R.
First impressions and what's made me not stay here previously is the exterior of the building looks abit outdated however decided to give it a go and was one of the best nights I've had, room although not huge was still spacious, comfortable, clean and had all the necessities you could need plus extra comforts like more pillows hand cream hand wipes etc, Staff team were amazing, friendly and very quick, small issue with breakfast where someone had used our room number to get breakfast but no biggie the staff allowed us anyway :) breakfast portion was very good with a hot buffet and cold buffet option, we had a room on the 17th floor overlooking Birmingham and I definitely will be visiting again!
j. m.
First visit to this hotel and very impressed confident that room had been cleaned to Covid standard. Very comfortable hotel with convenient car parking. Excellent from rate and breakfast organised well with options to eat in breakfast room bedroom or on onward journey. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
T. M.
Lovely clean contemporary design rooms! A bit small but there's a gym. Good selection for breakfast, friendly helpful staff and an all night menu for travellers arriving late. Great hotel and good price. Would strongly recommend.
C. i.
A 2 night stay here was nice, the hotel is big, on site car parking available for £10 per 24 hours. The views can be nice higher up. The room was nice and big, bathroom a decent size too. Breakfast is good, but they could add more vegetarian options for none meat eaters. Overall a good stay with only a few minor issues with room which have been discussed with the hotel already and they are going to resolve them which is positive.
P. C.
Good room, but checking in was chaos, still excellent value for big city.
W. I.
Stayed for one night while attending a conference. Parking available on site. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was unbelievable. So much on offer and love the touch of class from the waffle machine maker
K. W.
Lovely 1 night stay at Hilton Hampton when down for the cricket. Very friendly, clean, good covid restrictions and good breakfast.
E. M.
For a budget hotel this is really nice. I have stayed in higher class hotels and had much worse experience. Visited during heatwave but the room was nice and cool with the air-conditioning already on. Room was clean and spacious and modernly decorated. Plugs at the bedside which is great (it's a pet peeve when hotels don't provide this)
Reception is on floor 3 with a nice bar and restaurant. I ate breakfast was lovely and efficient.
I would definitely recommend this for a business visit. I can't comment much on the area as I didn't venture out but for work wise it was great value.
B. K.
Lovely hotel. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but it's nice inside. Staff friendly/polite. Rooms clean and spacious. Very central location and the breakfast is great - massive buffet with loads of options.
C. J.
A very nice stay. Lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast and best of all the price was amazing. We used Clubcards and there was a problem but the staff were very nice and helpful. Apparently it does happen often so just a heads up. The carpark is around the back and it's a little hard to see but a fair price to park overnight. We also had a accessible room and that was fantastic and really good for my disabled mother in law. The location is also very close to a lot of places. Would definitely recommend
H. C.
Always stay here and I love the place.seems very secure . Easy check-in.easy parking (£12 for 24hrs).rooms always quiet..lifts quick and four of them. Breakfast last time I stayed was lovely but the little cubed potato pieces this time tasted a little chemically so I left those (change of supplier perhaps) but ate the rest. Bean to cup coffee.what more do you need .
M. B.
Great location, close to the city centre and canals. Free parking. Breakfast buffet was excellent and gluten free bread and soya milk available on request. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.
Worth noting that the hotel in on Broad Street which is very noisy with late bars. We could hear the bars from our room and this was at midnight.
K. K.
What a nice stay. Ruby was delightful at check in. Room on the 16th floor is clean, roomy and great view of the city. Lee at the front desk is a great help. Friendly and will go over and above to make your visit special. He took my postcards to the mailbox after work and arranged my taxi as well. They know how to make you feel at home here. I will definitely be back. great job.
K. B.
Stayed there for Three nights. Central and within walking distance of all shops. The room was clean adequate. Breakfast was good. I would probably stay again if in the area. Not as high a standard as the Belfast Hilton.
A. S.
Good rooms, could do with a little bit of maintenance though (marks on the wall, shower not draining, bathroom door difficult to open).
Breakfast was really good though. They refilled everything really quickly and the selection was great.
The bacon and waffles was a highlight.
T.
The location was good for where we wanted to be and do. For us the walk to shopping areas was OK. Breakfast was good. Room clean. Near the bars on Broad Street and also down the canal. …
m. c.
The rooms were very good for the price and the hotel is itself is cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of choice for different tastes whether it be traditional British breakfast or continental style breakfasts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The main negatives would be the lack of choice on the mains at evening meals and the car park. Access to the car park is difficult to find the first time you visit this hotel and actually has a different postcode to the hotel itself, which was not stated on my booking details. I had to find somewhere to park at my own expense and walk to the hotel and ask reception where the car park was located. I overhead many visitors having similar conversations with the check in desk about the same grievance that I myself had endured. This dropped the rating to 3 stars from my own personal view, otherwise for the cost I would have given it 4 stars for the cost of the hotel in general.
D. D.
A reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Birmingham within walking distance of the Arena, Birmingham Rep Theatre, Sea Life and a host of restaurants along the canal. It has 17 floors, has its own parking and oddly, the reception is located on 3rd floor. Breakfast is included and is very good value. We had a lovely stay but the only negative was they added £60 to my friend's credit card just in case we stayed an extra day which we both thought was cheeky (& which was not displayed on their website - we checked!).
N. F.
Under staffed underwhelmed never again saving grace the night team & security team room nice clean didn't have breakfast so can't comment couldn't get out quick enough
Guinness wasn't even tap
Woeful
Nice tea bags
K. H.
The staff was very friendly and very approachable and nothing was to much trouble. The room was cleaned to a high standard and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was amazing so much variety to choose from and was cooked to a very good standard nothing burnt etc. If going to Birmingham then would recommend staying here. No faults with it at all.
S. L.
Great value, very central and ideal for business trips. Remarkably quiet given the location. Slept soundly on comfy bed. Very big bathroom with good quality towels and soaps. Minor niggles being that the air con could be more effective and the shower perhaps more powerful but overall very good and will use again.
D. M.
Very nice hotel in the centre of Birmingham. Good check-in experience, friendly staff.
The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped, including TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a range of toiletries and comfortable beds. My room also had a sofa and footstool. Get a room on one of the to floors to enjoy panoramic views over the city.
Dinner was reasonably priced and the food was tasty. Breakfast was particularly good, with a wide range of cooked and continental options on offer.
I would definitely stay here again.
H. G.
Its in a great location. Have stayed there a number of times in the past because we have always enjoyed it there. However, this time I had a really poor night sleep due to the level of noise from the local nightlife which has made me think that the hotel potentially needs to address this as I found it incredibly difficult to go to sleep due to very load music coming from a nearby nightclub. I don't know if being on a higher floor would have helped, possibly. However, as much as I like the hotel it has made me doubt if I would stay there again due to this experience.
S. P.
Very nice hotel with brilliant amenities that ensure a good stay for all.
J. P.
Had issues with aspects of the hotel unbeknownst to us upon booking but had them rectified by higher management so pleased with that, overall a good stay, location is perfect, breakfast is nice, came for my wife's birthday and the issues we had from day one have now been sorted which has cheered us both up.
P. K.
One of the tallest buildings along the busy Broad St, this hotel has a strangely inconspicuous entrance at street level. You go into an empty lobby, where signs direct you to Reception on the 3rd Floor; the same floor as the breakfast room and various sitting areas. The friendly Reception staff put me in an end-of-corridor room, as requested (in the hope that it would be quieter). The room was adequately large, and clean; the bathroom fittings etc. all seemed to be fairly new, or well-maintained. Unlike many hotels there was a really effective black-out blind, as well as curtains. Breakfast was above average, with *fresh* croissants and hot food, including sausages that did not to be of the same poor "budget" quality of many other hotels. For the price I paid (£108 for 2 nights) I would definitely stay here again.
D. M.
Central location, easy to get to. Room was lovely, bed was comfortable. Very little noise given city centre based. Slept really well and then headed down for breakfast which was amazing. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a long time.
C. A.
Polite and helpful staff. Huge walk in shower, comfy beds and pillows but oh heavens the air vent/fan system is a nightmare when awake and even worse when trying to sleep. Ear plugs help a bit but it's not the way I'd prefer to sleep.
C. G.
My wife picked this hotel for a Christmas shop in Birmingham.
They had on site parking which is great, only need to take a lift to reception which took minute although the lifts are something to be desired but you can pay for parking at reception.
The room was lovely with all the amenities you need, coffee & tea, shampoos & lotion in the shower, even a radio alarm and a decent size TV.
The beds were a bit hard however and the pillows sank too much so I woke with a bad neck and back.
The breakfast the next morning was great. A choice of an English breakfast, continental and freshly made waffles you can make yourself. Be careful with the coffee though it's very hot.
Checkout was simple with just dropping the card in an express letterbox.
A great hotel to stay in with only a 15 minute stole to the bullring. Would advise you bring decent footwear if your Christmas shopping!
S. L. C.
Stayed here a few times and it's one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Staff are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are really nice and are good sizes. The breakfast has excellent choice in the week day and at the weekends.
G. M.
Might call it a budget hotel but I think it's brilliant. Excellent rooms, friendly staff and great position. Breakfast can be difficult when the hotel is busy as seating is very limited and they can get a bit low on food at times.
M. B.
Was a bit apprehensive at first as its not the best looking of hotels from the outside. Once you get into the main hotel though, it's fantastic - I've stayed in hotels which were 3-4x as much and weren't as good. Clean, modern, spacious room with climate control and large HDTV, hot, powerful shower, and well cooked breakfast with a huge variety of choice. Very quiet as well, although that may have been because I was on 10th floor, quite a way from the street.
J. A.
Lovely well priced hotel, breakfast was great, waffle machine brill, thanks
J. P.
A very clean and pleasant hotel. Brilliant location. Great price
Z. A.
Amazing food, service and views. I would definitely recommend them.
F. I.
This hotel could easily get a 4 or even 5 stars review because it has potential but it lacks attention to detail.
Staff is very helpful and polite and the location is also perfect with a lot of places to eat nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean.
Where should they focus to improve their rating? The breakfast is simply ok. There is continental and full english but lacks quality and presentation. The tv remote in the room didn't work properly, the iron was dirty because of previous missuse and the bathroom had no glasses and there were no additional complimentary accessories.
However the price/quality is quite acceptable and I would consider going back.
D. C. H.
Nice room, nice breakfast
A. H.
Great centrally located hotel. Good breakfast and comfy bed. Would have got 5 stars if we could have got some sandwiches when we arrived. Also a moody/stroppy barman last thing. Otherwise good stay.
S. J.
Arrived at the hotel in plenty of time for booking in and received excellent service from the reception staff. Got to our room and dumped our stuff to get out and around Birmingham before the real reason for our visit and that was for Jeff Lynne's ELO at Arena Birmingham. A fantastic concert and then a nice quiet stay in a very nice hotel. Breakfast in the morning was very good ( just needed mushrooms really) and then it was checkout. A thoroughly enjoyable 24 hours. Spot on!!
S. C.
There is a fantastic balance between price and quality here where you get a lot for what you pay. The rooms are very nice, I also got to use the gym which was well kept. The only negative I would say, which is not that bad, is that the breakfast although having a lot of variety is not that nice in terms of quality, with extremely bad coffee.
M. S.
Clean, spacious hotel. I stayed here 5 days on a work course and met all my needs. Bathrooms here are also very good and spacious. Breakfast not brilliant but sets you up for the day.
S. C.
Loved it. Lovely hotel, rooms excellent and clean, snacks available 24/7 from reception. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel.
M. W.
Stayed there a few times, rooms are nice, breakfast rather good. Let down by no room service, and incredibly limited menu for evenings. (as a side note, avoid the Indian takeaway a few doors down, I was given that advice and didn't follow it, I really should have done!). Seems to have really slow drainage to the showers, so you can't leave it running whilst you're in there - thought it was just the first room, but have had it in others since. Staff are always great, and location is ideal.
M. S.
The bedrooms are spotless, really modern but the views not brilliant. Reception can get very busy so you need to be patient at check in. All u can eat breakfast is great. Your right in the heart of the city at this hotel.
D. T.
We booked Hampton by Hilton on-line via a third party website but had to cancel. The hotel allowed us to postpone the visit at no extra charge, which was good. The hotel is very conveniently located (next to the Bierkeller on Broad Street) yet the hotel and room were surprisingly quiet. We were pleased with the room; comfy bed, plenty of pillows, clean bathroom and no dodgy sealant/grouting in the bathroom. The lifts are quick and there were a few of them. No waiting around. There was a good selection of breakfast items and the hot breakfast items were hot. (I don't take these things for granted). There were plenty of tables available for breakfast as the staff were clearing things away rather than letting the washing up build up until the end of service. Not the best kerb appeal as a building, but we weren't looking to buy. A short walk to Brindley place and the Arena (original reason for booking). Would recommend.
A. Ö.
Good selection of hot and cold breakfast. Close to various restaurants in the heart of broad Street. Poor WiFi on the top floors but good elsewhere in the hotel. Clean and nice spec rooms and good views from the top floor. Would stay again.
L. D.
Hotel is well located and with a car park. Rooms are much as you would expect. Where this hotel really wins is its inclusive breakfast, it is really good both in quality and range of food on offer. It's really nice to find both a toaster that works well on both sides of the bread and a waffle maker.
P. W.
Great position, staff a little blasè to be completely honest and whenever anyone uses a shower you will all know about it from the water hammer in the pipes. Location and price make up for the downsides though! And a great pub,the bulls head , just around the corner!
P. W.
Great location - close to nice bars and restaurants. The rooms are very modern and new with plenty of space and everything you need in them. Breakfast buffet was superb (Bacon, Egg, Sausage all cooked well and hot, cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt, juices, coffee, tea). Highly recommended
N. B.
Room perfectly good. Clean and quiet. Pleasant staff but .. shower (nice shower) drain blocked, TV unconfigured and signal too poor to use! Scrambled egg from powdered ingredients (only had worse in USA) and stale pastries. Would be more than adequate otherwise.
B. G.
Have stayed in other Hamptons so had an idea of what to expect. The entrance is a bit dowdy and has no staff presence. Reception is on the third floor of this mid rise building. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Good wi-fi which is free. The bar, reception, sitting area and dining area are all one on an open plan floor.
Breakfast was ok. Buffet style. The seating at the tables was a mix and the height of the tables didn't match the seats making for a not very comfortable dining experience.
All in my visit was OK but I would probably choose a higher grade of Hilton Hotel or another chain if staying in this area again.
N. F.
Our room was nice and clean, on 10th floor. Check in was hot, and not air conditioned but the room was. Was a good stay, even if some guest were noisy coming back. Breakfast was good too.
S. B.
Booked through snaptravel for £88 for a sat night which was cheap. There are issues like reception on floor 3 even with 4 lifts can be probkesome to access at peak times. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff friendly and accommodating. Tge breakfast is substantial and immense from full english to american waffles and danish pastries all self service. Rooms are spacious but toilet not suitabke for tge shy bladder as paperthin partitions. Overall an excellent hotel.
C.
Well I'm writing this whilst I'm sat at breakfast of which is a great choice for an included breakfast much better than i expected so at this lovely hotel, I'll start with the negative and that's parking but first let me say this is not a big negative just a peeve of mine as I don't believe I should have to pay for parking at a hotel that I am staying in (parking is around the back) but that's my pet peeve out of the way.
The positives are this hotel is extremely quiet and clean you get shampoo and body wash etc so this is good in case you forget that which I did. It's ideally situated with plenty of places to eat around the area within close proximity and a cinema too. The room's are adequate for what I want, the beds were perfect for my liking and I and my girlfriend slept soundly throughout the night after visiting the Birmingham arena the day before which was a 10 minute drive due to road works otherwise it's 5 mins. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and it would of gotten five stars if not for the parking charges.
G. N.
Good room and good facilities. Just not very happy when i turned up at 11am like i have numerous times to hotels to be told room would be ready at 2pm and no alternates. Only to come back at 3pm and be told room still isn’t ready. Was then given an alternate which sufficed. All in all a nice hotel though with a great mid city location.
j. M.
Nice Hotel ,shame about customer relations
U. N.
Very cozy and reasonably priced. We recommend !!!
T. O.
Comfy bed, fantastic breakfast and friendly and helpful staff
M. W.
Good quality beds and linen in a nice, spacious room. Excellent value for money. No fried eggs at breakfast, but otherwise it was fine. Brilliant, friendly staff and clean as a new pin.
R. E.
If you have a room overlooking Broad Street, prepare to arrive back to a sauna on a very sunny day - even with the curtains closed and the air-con switched on you'll feel the heat. Friendly attentive staff. Bathrooms are cramped, you might bang your elbows in some rooms reaching for the toilet roll. Great views from the higher floors, slightly less appetising views from lower floors.
S. M.
Great if you just want to put your head down for a few nights! The rooms are clean, comfortable and practical; the bed was comfortable. The rooms are equiped with an iron (and ironing board), hair dryer and a safe. The bathroom had a full set of towels from a face flannel to a bath sheet. There was also shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body/hand lotion; all you really need is your toothbrush and toothpaste (maybe deodorant too)...if you like to pack light, like me! I've stayed in a lot of hotels; the breakfast (I think it's an extra charge) was around a 4 out of 10. It wasn't bad or good either. It was okay! It was the buffet-type breakfast with cereals, pastries, bread/toast, yoghurts; you could even make your own Belgian-style waffles! I didn't see any fruit...but, I wasn't looking for any! There was the usual sausage, bacon, beans, tomatoes, scrambled eggs and potatoe rostis. Although, I'm guessing if I had arrived a little earlier, the bacon wouldn't have been like a bit of shoe leather! They did, however, have gluten free bread; this was not advertised. I had to ask. I don't know if the hotel has a proper restaurant (as we went to a very nice restaurant in China Town)! Parking will cost you £12 a day; the hotel does have it's own parking. I did note that the hotel is also suitable for regular-sized wheelchairs.
Z. c.
This was a nice comfortable hotel in Birmingham and is not far from everything. It's about 30 minute walk to the bullring shopping area and 20 minute away from the chinese area. There are plenty of bar and food downstairs on the same street, and a cinema just a walk away. The room was really comfortable, cozy and yet spacious. The only thing I didn't like was they only have a white curtain to block the window from sun light .... Which really does not and was absolutely blinding. The morning buffet breakfast was really good and offer many different tasty treat. My favourite was the waffle maker.
M.
The breakfast was ok although coffee machine run out of beans.
1. No hot water (so freezing cold shower). 2. Sofa bed for twin bed which was uncomfortable. 3. Noisy water pipes in other rooms so you could hear what sounded …
B. M.
My room had faulty shower, but it was sorted swiftly after reporting to the reception desk. Staff was polite and helpful. Location is good for nightlife but I was also able to get a good sleep.
E. C.
Second visit and it needs a bit of decorating, air con and toilets on floor three as a minimum. I personally wouldn't chose this hotel again as it's not my preference but as I am part of a group who annually meet here, the choice isn't mine. Not the finest.
H. J.
Nice hotel on Broad St near lots restaurants and the canal area. Breakfast well set out and good choice, great early start at 6am. Bedrooms very nice and comfortable, did not try food at hotel, usually expensive.
N. J.
Stayed here for the second time recently - both times to go to Birmingham Arena which is a 10 minute walk away. Got a really good rate from a comparison site - you need to if you drive there as the car park is £12 for 24 hours!!
Room and bathroom were high spec (for the price and 3 star rating). Breakfast buffet is included which is fine as long as you don't want the cooked option. We've had better (and worse) but couldn't complain at the price paid.
There are lots of bars and eateries very close and a Sainsbury's Local just across the road.
There are major road works on Broad Street which is closed at time of writing so, if driving, persevere to find the car park which is accessed from the rear of the hotel. Sat nav wants to take you to the front of the building.
Would recommend if visiting Birmingham.
E. S.
Clean and comfy rooms. Hotel has been extensively remodelled since my last visit. 3 night stay and really happy with room , service etc. Got a corner room so 3 large windows with views over city. Would stay here again without a doubt
R. C.
Clean, modern and bright. Really enjoyed my stay here. Great location. Walking distance to centre. Staff were outstandingly helpful and kind.
T. W.
Stayed for 2 nights great stay friendly staff and clean rooms.
Breakfast was brilliant loads of variety
V. H.
Comfortable. Good location for the arena but the room was noisy (Saturday night). Parts of the bathroom needed a good scrub! Self serve breakfast was good.
A. G.
Lovely modern room and a great breakfast buffet, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the hotel is in a very central location all attractions are within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return

Nice central hotel. Close to Sea Life. 20mins from bullring/Central and Main shopping area. Close to pubs and restaurants. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Rooms clean, spacious. Maid service also good, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pipes are loud at night when taps etc are on (7th floor). We had 2 rooms, 1 Aircon didn't work. Reception offered to move rooms, which was appreciated. Also, both of our rooms had exterior walls with 1/3 window, 1/3 wall, and 1/3 brink intrusion (wall, which may have been a structural feature or riser) hence the 4 stars. (See photo)
S. W.
Air conditioning broken essentially rendering half of the building useless. Still booking rooms in that half of the building. Moved from double room to twin room. Not an ideal solution but provided promptly and without argument.
The room itself was a good size with well proportioned beds and comfortable pillows. The bathroom is beautifully decorated with a sliding door that gives it a neotokyo vibe.
Once the air conditioning is fixed I would have no problem staying here again - but I will be checking before booking!
A. P.
Nice hotel and easy to find. the staff are helpful and polite. Spent only one night there, but if we was to stay in Birmingham again we would stay here agan. Also the breakfast was very nice and there is a large selection.
N. H.
Decent rooms, very central location though some guests noisy late at night so best to ask for a quiet room if that is what you want. Check-in experience in urgent need of review; mine was bad, but mitigated by the prompt action of the Duty Manager but the same issue happened all over again when the other guest tried to check-in.
S. F.
Good value, room was large, clean and bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. Breakfast is self service and if you like cakes and pastries, you will like this, particularly the waffle machine!
d. s.
good location and use of a carpark - rooms could do with updating,
A. H.
Lift from 3rd floor reception to ground floor not working after Checking our staff gave me wrong information to take one level stairs down. Instead I was hauling my luggage down for three floors. Breakfast disgusting coffee machine not working Prober and pastries seemed from yesterday not so great but the room was very good and bedding cleanses was also great therefore 3 stars is more then enough
D. U.
Headache the reception is on the third floor. Lots of up and down.
L. B.
Great reception welcome regular choice of stay when in Birmingham close to all amenities and city center amazing views from the higher floors. BREAKFAST 100% everytime. All 3 rooms I have stayed in have been clean fresh and a home from home feeling price is great for all wallets and budget types .
M. M.
The rooms are basic but clean and the bed was a little hard for my liking.
Checking in and out was fast and unfussy. Breakfast wasn't amazing.
Nice central location.
S.
Great hotel, great staff! Made me feel welcome. Perfect spot in Birmingham centre.
V. S.
It is a nice hotel not very far from city centre. On Broad Street so have plenty of options of resturants, bar, pubs etc. Good connectivity with public transport. About 10-15 mins walking distance from New Street Station. Staff is polite. Decent size rooms, car park available if you arriving in your own car. Overall happy with the hotel and stay.
S. F.
Was put in a room next to a Hen party that disturbed our sleep. The hotel did go out of their way to give us later check out and moved rooms when they still had no respect for other people and no extra charge neither. My daughter is a epileptic and had a few seizures due to the noise. This is why most hotels don't accommodate these celebrations as some don't understand that not everyone wants to be woken up at 1:30 am. Hats off to all the staff that helped us
J. S.
Nice hotel, clean and staff friendly. But our room 1021 was like a sauna. Friday night wasn't so bad, but although a/c fan was working, room was still very warm. Saturday night though was unbearable - just too hot and humid to sleep. We did tell reception on checkout on Sunday morning

Good stay
If the WiFi or phone signal was better here the score would be better.
Room was clean and well maintained, the staff obviously are well drilled and this can be seen with how nice the place is kept.
The breakfast was all a traveller should need and again the staff are courteous.
Good location just a short walk from the center of town so with the price this was well worth the money paid.
M. O.
One-night stay at this hotel for a business trip. Room was great, well furnished and mostly clean (bathroom could do with some love).
Breakfast was excellent even for those of us who are not a fan of the full english. Reception at the 3rd floor was a bit weird as was having to switch elevators to get to the carpark but those are minor inconveniences.
My room was located at the 12th floor which provided some great views of the city.
Close to city center and the many, many pubs and restaurants around. My colleagues who drove me around did mention it was a bit of a daunting task to get to the car-park so it may be wise to call ahead and check for the best sat-nav address to get to the parking entrance.
All in all a very pleasant stay and would definitely come again.
S. K.
Clean, great shower, Wi-fi and good AC. Bar area a bit small next to reception. But a zillion bars just outside so no issue. Location excellent, parking good sized spaces on the top floor.
Security ok, can't get to the room floors without a key card, no safe in the room.
J. S.
It was okay. Not a bad place to stay, breakfast was decent, nothing too exciting but the bed was uncomfortable. Literally it was like sleeping on a prison mattress and the lack of ability to block out all light at night was annoying...
J. G.
Excellent location, lovely clean rooms, plenty of towels and toiletries, the views are amazing, will definitely book here again, the staff were really friendly and food was delicious. Would recommend a stay here to anyone, you won't be disappointed!
P. T.
Stayed here several times over the years. Avoid the rooms overlooking Broad Street at weekends as noise can be an issue. Parking isn't cheap, but where would be cheap and secure elsewhere?
Reception can get a bit overloaded at times, as can the breakfast area.
Historically I've found this cheaper than the nearby Travelodge, nicer too. Your mileage may vary with breakfast, but the DIY waffles are always a lark. Rooms have always been clean and tidy, but some furnishings are ready for renewal soon.
A. J.
A nice hotel located on Broad Street close by to the Shopping Center.
Staff are very friendly and professional and provide a good service, I arranged to have flowers sent to the room I booked on the top floor and they were brilliant with following my instructions.
The hotel has car parking at £10 for 24 hours and is located behind the hotel which leads to the 2nd floor of the hotel.
The bedroom was very nice and stylish with an en-suite and comfortable bed all clean and cozy.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Birmingham any time soon.
M. G.
Staff were pleasant.
Room was clean
Breakfast was lovely
S. A.
Great hotel, great location and above all great staff.
S. U.
Good clean spacious rooms and en-suites. Welcoming friendly staff. Good breakfast. No fuss. Great value for the price. Highly recommended.
P.
Fairly standard hotel. Own car park which was a bonus. Decent breakfast. However even though we were on the 16th floor the noise from the local bars and clubs on Broad Street was terrible on a Saturday night.
S. S.
Conveniently located at the end of a busy strip (which can mean a little early morning noise from revellers). Neat modern rooms with spacious shower rooms en-suite. Comfy beds. Wide range of breakfast options including waffle making, homemade granola, fruit, pastries, yoghurt, speciality teas and coffees, and a (slightly limited) hot breakfast buffet. Warm welcome, quick lifts, high rise, good views!
D. C.
The staff were friendly and helpful both on arrival, and throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and well presented too. Location of the hotel is about 5 min walk from the ICC, and 20 min to the city centre. Lots of bars and restaurants close by too.
s. o.
Booked this hotel as a surprise weekend birthday present for my partner & have never stayed here before & have to say I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Birmingham but this one was the best by far 😀 As soon as we arrived the staff were very friendly & even had complementary car park, had top floor room which was very clean comfy bed & lovely shower, the views were amazing so Thankyou for that as I did request a room with a view, breakfast was amazing especially enjoyed the waffle machine 😀 Hotel was busy especially at breakfast time but this did not bother us at all as we always found a table to sit at.
I did like the fact that we did not have to walk through reception on the way back in from our night out, just straight up to room in the lift from the entrance.
Would definitely make this hotel the one I will stay at from now on when in Birmingham & Thankyou so much for helping to make my partners surprise birthday weekend very special 😀😀
A. S.
This is a big old hotel... the staff are very friendly and there’s a decent fitness room, but the rooms are a bit tired .. the first one I was offered smelled of smoke, I was moved to a second room that also smelled, but not so bad, it’s very annoying to keep coming across rooms like that these days. The AC system made a constant noise even when off, which annoys me as a misophonic. Parking costs but that’s ok for the city centre. Road outside is all ‘wild west’ pubs and clubs, wouldn’t want to be here on a Friday or Saturday night...
R. Y.
Arrived at the hotel approx 6.30pm for a business conference at the ICC nearby. Checked in, no issues, room pretty much what you'd expect - clean, well appointed and comfortable.
Went down to the main reception area with my colleagues about 8pm and decided to use our meal allowance on getting dinner in the hotel bar. Menu wasn't extensive (burger, curry, pizza etc) but as we'd been travelling for a few hours (and already worked in the morning) we decided to order something, chill out for a bit and maybe get a drink after.
As we were placing our food orders we were advised that there could be a wait of up to an hour for the food due to the large number of orders going through the kitchen. Whilst not ideal, we decided to stick with it and hope that it wouldn't be the full hour.
The hour came and went. We asked several members of staff on duty who politely explained that the kitchen was working hardest they could to cope with the larger than normal number of orders being placed.
By 1hr45 mins one of our colleagues had received what she ordered, then two others. By hour two I hadn't received anything and decided that at 10pm that I should cut my losses and find somewhere outside of the hotel to eat.
I can see from another review a few days ago another guest appeared to have experienced the same issue and note the response from the duty manager. I'm not going to dwell any further on the point, but will add this - you have a large booking due from a large company - the chances are more than a few could choose to order food at your hotel rather than venture out - even an extra pair of hands in the kitchen for the evening could have made the difference between a 1 hour wait and the 2 hour wait that 90% of our group experienced. Just sayin'....
Anyway, this was a relatively minor blemish in what was a good stay. The food experience on the first night was eclipsed by the very friendly and helpful staff. On both mornings when walking through the breakfast room, there wasn't a single one who didn't say hello or good morning or said "Hope you enjoy breakfast". The great attitude and professionalism of your front of house/breakfast room team completely erased the poor experience I had the night before!
Breakfast was pretty decent to be fair (served from 6am) - a good selection of hot & cold items, porridge, cereals, yogurt & fruit, pastries & danishes etc The cooked breakfast was one of the better I've had - the little potato things were great, could have had a whole plate of those alone!
Would I stay here again....yes I would, for the customer service and decent rooms....but would choose to eat out in the evenings ;)
C. M.
Lovely hotel work friendly, helpful staff. Room was perfect for the night I was there and the breakfast the next day had a great selection. Would recommend.
B. L.
Had a comfortable night and lovey breakfast
S. S.
The breakfast which was included was very good as it saved us a lo tof money and time. The staff were really friendly and the location of the hotel is great as there is everything nearby ( Movie theatre, 5 Guys burgers and fries, Ice Cream parlours and much more). The only downside was the fact that one elevator got stuck for 45 minutes with a guest inside. This is hopefully and probably a one time so it won't cost them a star this time. Finally, the parking was hard to locate as it is behind the main entrance of the building.
S. V.
Very high standard accommodation and friendly check in. Breakfast was ALL help yourself even down to tea making. But I can see that might be what some folk like especially in a City Centre Hotel. That said I will revisit the hotel if I need to stay in Birmingham. Car Parking on site at £12 for 24 hours.
V. J.
Reception staff fabulous, the room was fine although noise with building work within the hotel, the food was awful although I am sure the chef is doing their best in the circumstances hence 3 stars.
C. B.
Hampton by Hilton on Broad St is a lovely hotel, this would be our regular hotel when in Birmingham. Competitively priced which includes breakfast. Buffet style, excellent choices of food and buns/croissants. Beds very comfortable. Locality is great for night out. Would recommend highly
N. M.
Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and clean ,staff were all polite, breakfast very good ,lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend this Hotel .
L. C.
Absolutely exceptional. Everything is just brilliant. We stayed there for 1 night to be close to Arena Birmingham because of Westlife concert. Without a doubt best hotel and room I've ever stayed in
J. K.
Rooms were small and basic. Staff friendly. Great location. Breakfast plentiful. Fitness centre a bonus. Shower pressure a let-down!
B. B.
I stayed in this hotel for a week last year. The room was very nice. TV flatscreen tv is nice and has a high quality digital reception. There are outlets next to the bed, which is great for charging a phone or laptop. The shower has dispenser for champoo, conditioner and bath wash. The staff is kind and helpful
V. B.
Was descent hotel but not Hilton quality
B.
The only problem was that there was not any refrigerator and microwave in the room!
Otherwise, everything was perfect amd reasonable price...
We had a lovely night!
W. G.
Car park send secure but one near by are half the price. Bar served nice wine & service was good. Big breakfast you can help your self too. Shane none of the rooms have a bath!
N. G.
Premier Inn option by Hilton. Nice staff and easy access in Central Birmingham. Facilities look dated or broken. Budget friendly option for travellers. Car park is an additional fee of 12 £ per day website might make you think it is included.
A. K.
Very average, rooms were ok, breakfast was very basic. Couldn't sleep til gone 2am as the room temperature was uncontrollable and took that long to get more blankets
m. S.
Hotel is beautiful. Clean and well presented. Breakfast was lovely. I'll tell all my friends when they come to Birmingham to book with Hampton, Hilton Hotel Broad street. Excellent service
M. T.
Good size rooms. Very clean. On site car parking at very good rate. Stones throw from New Street and Bull Ring. Close to Symphony Hall and Canal side. Great value hotel.
i. j.
Excellent hotel well worth the money and couldn't fault the staff
T. C.
Amazing hotel. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, rooms have fantastic views and room service every day. Complimentary breakfast is included with self service. Access to the fitness suite included.
A. G.
Quick check in, very clean and well looked after. Breakfast was really good and open till 10. Ideal to stay if going to Birmingham Arena (short walk)
s. f.
Just returned from a two night stay in your Hotel with my Mum. From the friendly smilely greeting, wonderful large comfy twin beds, great modern shower, to the help your self breakfast with so much choice. Car parking and only 15 min walk to centre or station. Plus the price. Well done. Will use again
R. W.
Room was nice, stayed in room 624 that faced on to the main road so traffic noise was a big problem (until approx 5:15am) & noise from passing drunken crowds was loud & often.
Woken at 8:15am by a loud humming/whirring from problematic plumbing/pipework in the bathroom.
Phoned reception only to be told to "Turn the bathroom tap on fully, and the noise should stop in a couple of minutes". (They did send someone up, but by then i'd remedied the problem).
Took the opportunity of being woken early to go for breakfast, which was a chaotic free for all, with 30+ people trying to get to the breakfast buffet at any one time. A 3-5 minute queue to use the coffee machine & you could bake a loaf faster than waiting to use the toaster. (But have to say that the food was very nice).
Was refunded 10% of room cost for a disturbed nights sleep, which i'll use to buy ear defenders just incase i stay here again.
S. K.
Good place, comfortable beds
A.
The rooms, lounge area and breakfast were all lovely. However at check in, there was a girl just stood there doing nothing so we approached her - but she said we needed to wait for the girl next to her who was checking someone else in... ok.
On entering our room - which again I will say was lovely and clean - I noticed that in the place of tea spoons they provided wooden stirrers instead. I was very disappointed at that because I just felt like it was something to expect from a McDonald's or Wetherspoons; not Hilton.
Getting back to the hotel at 10:30pm on a Saturday night was an absolute nightmare. Broad Street seems to be home to every nightclub in Birmingham, so I found myself walking in the road and dodging drunks. And though well soundproofed (and this didn't prevent us sleeping) we could hear the music from our room on the 12th floor.
Breakfast itself I cant fault; neither the quality or variety was an issue. What was an issue was the layout. There was just not enough space to accommodate the amount of people at the buffet.
Overall I would stay there again, but I would request a low floor to avoid the horrendous elevators... and I would pack a teaspoon or two.
S. B.
We stayed here few weeks ago and the Spanish guys on reception were very helpfull. Also, the breakfast was great and the rooms.were clean and tidy. Great place to stay over night.
N. C.
It's starting to look a bit shabby and outdated. Breakfast not great.
G. M.
Good location, room clean, good price though including parking and breakfast.
G. W.
A pleasant place, room comfortably, plenty of parking, breakfast very good but evening meal restricted to a small menu could do better.
R. W.
Very convenient for Brindley Place and Broad Street. Nice, hot shower. Very good night sleep. Breakfast was much better than I was expecting ;a varied choice. Would return and recommend.
A. M.
Excellent. Room was great. The bed, the shower, the views, breakfast, everything was very good.
Staff very nice and helpful.
Update 2016. Just stayed for five days. Excellent again. ***** hotel.
m. l.
Really friendly staff, clean & a lovely room. Although you can request Vegan options at breakfast & they will prepare them while you wait, it is limited. Which is a shame & docked a star.
A. A.
Convenient location but starting to look run down and tatty.
D. W.
Great value for money and easily accessible for Broad Street & NIA
A. R.
We have just stayed 2 nights having watched strictly come dancing at arena Birmingham.hotel a 5 minute walk from arena along the canal side and 10 minutes from bull ring shopping.room was good and breakfast very plentiful.ample on site parking.would stay again for sure.
D. S.
Nice hotel but they need to sort out the Aircon as it's very loud in the middle of the night an your unable to turn it off. Great room and food , I found the staff to be very helpful an friendly.
S. S.
Great for an overnight stay. Clean, tidy & modern on the inside. Good breakfast setup. Parking a bit contentious. £12 per night at the hotel or £3 in the car park directly opposite at rear.
P. O.
2 night break and as usual a great stay. Lovely room and fantastic breakfast. Courtious and pleasant staff. Highly recommended.
O. L.
Spent two nights at the Hilton on Broad Street, 14th Floor was perfect, incredibly quiet and away from the main road. Room was clean and lovely bathroom. Lots of choice at breakfast. Parking is a plus. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.
K. D.
Nice Hilton. Room was really nice and staff were welcoming. They charged me for breakfast which I didn't have but when I called they were really helpful and rectified straight away.
T. W.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Enjoyed my stay. It's in a very lively part of the city surrounded by pubs and bars thst5open until the early hours. I was on the 15th floor and did not hear a thing.
J. P.
For a short stay in Birmingham the hotel was great. Breakfast is self service. The food is well cooked and there is always a member of tge kitchen team refilling and are very attentive to your needs.
M. H.
Hotel was perfect, only knocked down a star due to Parking and navigating around the hotel
S. H.
Brilliant location central to Birmingham. Comfortable quiet room. Breakfast offered a wide selection of hot and cold food. Staff really helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay here again.
M. B.
Clean, comfortable beds, spacious bedroom. Love the breakfast.
S. O.
Rooms were good, bathroom was top notch. Location however doesn't help, the traffic in area during weekend nights is horrible. Car parks are very tight.
L. S.
Room is fairly typical for hotel class (holiday inn express level) breakfast was a bit odd no mushrooms fried eggs but otherwise was OK. My rooms tv had an iffy aerial but otherwise the room was adequate with plenty of plug sockets available
J. F.
Lovely staff and central location on broad street. Bed was very comfortable and the room as a whole was very spacious. Only let down was the problems with the TV signal, chrome cast would be great too
C. S.
it is a very nice, clean and well-kept location, the staff is very respectful and helpful, a good place for a weekend stroll and beyond. the best place to spend your free time outdoors, to avoid any inconvenience or more questions call the reception, at the number displayed for more details, so I did, very helpful, thank you very much
k. k.
This is a modern, hotel with well appointed rooms. It's right on Broad Street, so bare in mind that noise levels are high. Breakfast is very good and staff polite. I would stay again.
T. F.
One of the highest building located in the middle of the city (all rooms with a city view, specially if you're in higher floors). Food is OK and staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
C. D.
Stopped here for 2 nights on short break. Friendly staff and great service. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again 😄
J. L.
Nice hotel, breakfast is awesome. Rooms are comfortable, has on-site parking, although the Euro Carpark up the road is cheaper. Great location for the nightlife in Birmingham.
K. H.
Good city centre hotel handy for the main attractions of central Birmingham. Quiet rooms. During our stay was very cold sitting in the bar area, could have done with turning off/down the Airconn . Good value though and comfortable
E. H.
Love the Hotel, very compfy bed clean room and the Breakfast was yummy. Special the waffles..
Only thing was.. the carpet in the corridor on the 15th floor was very messy/ dirty..
A. B. v.
Nice clean room, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Loved the breakfast buffet and the food they serve like burgers and salads were also very nice.
I. J.
The building is tatty, they have done the best they can with the decor, good breakfast though and right in the centre of town. It's clean enough and well situated. Just don't expect plush surroundings.
v. g.
Really nice and clean. At least the locks worked this time. Breakfast was a bit busy but tasted nice. Bed was comfy.
A. J.
Nice, clean, comfortable rooms, decent breakfast. On the down side no bath but rather large shower, have to pay for parking. After all good experience.
M. H.
Clean room, great staff. Good location for arena. Evening food not served early enough for us as we were going to a show , o unfortunately had to eat elsewhere.
A. H.
Nice hotel, walking distance to everything, good parking (entry at rear) 12 quid per day.
Walk to the cinema which is out the front and left. Or the local Witherspoon pub, out and right.
There is a good Indian restaurant down by the Walkabout bar, it is upstairs. Not the one in the front of the Jury hotel.
4 minutes walk to the Birmingham Arena for concerts etc. Also the Aquarium.
D. R.
Excellent hotel. Can't fault it. Good clean room. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Good bar food for evening meal.
H. V.
Situated centerally in Birmingham so very good location. Next door to beirkeller and prysm. Excellent breakfast, big queues for waffles though! They make veggie sausages on request. Ros comfortable. They supply shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
S. E.
This hotel is a short walk from the Bull Ring shopping centre. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is nice. They make their own Granola, which is lovely. But the drinks at the bar, even a glass of coke is expensive.
C. P.
Friendly and efficient staff. Clean accomodation and enjoyable breakfast (would have preferred fried egg though to scrambled)
N. S.
I've stayed many times at this hotel and I've nothing to dislike except on this occasion reception asked me for a debit or credit card "for security reasons" where normally you are given the option. I won't book here again unless I'm given the option! !
S. T. S. S.
Stayed for 5 nights in October 2012 and absolutely loved it. Clean room with nice Freeview channels on flat screen TV. Free WiFi is a huge bonus. Huge bed for me alone and very nice view of the city from 13th floor. Bathroom was clean and suited the Hilton brand name. Very nice breakfast and do hope they can have more vegetarian food plus halal food options as well. Hotel security was good with card access after hours. Lots of food and entertainment outlets nearby and loved the 24hrs kebab shop next door and the cinema at Five Ways. Sainsbury's was a short walking distance and bus stop to city centre right in front of hotel. Will always stay at Hamptons whenever I drop by in Birmingham!
A. C.
Not bad for the price, looks lovely, parking is good, staff are quality, breakfast was better than normal.
Beds are rock solid and pillows need updating
B. B.
It was a very good experience, thank you
A. M.
Usual great standards of room and facilities. Car park and access however is unusual and can be a bit difficult if you have lots of luggage !
S. M.
Can't fault the hotel and it was cheap too. Excellent choice for breakfast - all self service and they even provide takeaway coffee cups for when you are ready to. Will definitely use this one again
D. W.
Great location but can be a bit noisy at weekends however it's never stopped me staying here.
Free breakfast and coffee.
Parking is more expensive than the street parking at the bottom of the ramp so check that out first.
C. D. (.
Great aside from a somewhat uncomfortable bed, and there is only a shower (no bath). A good selection of unlimited breakfast is included, but the coffee is not great.
K. W.
Good location good hotel
L. R.
Great service, room was lovely and hotel is perfectly located for events at the Arena. Great value for money with breakfast included. Couldn't ask for more!
S. W.
Nothing exceptional, but clean, and pleasant service. This section of Broad Street is slightly iffy, but you wouldn't know that from inside the hotel. Breakfast a bit basic and much of the bread was stale. Broadly Fine.
S. O.
Good accommodation at a good price. The manager (Liam) is very good. Always willing to help. Food not to bad for a quick meal. Would visit again no problem.
A. K.
Very average, rooms were ok, breakfast was very basic. Couldn't sleep til gone 2am as the room temperature was uncontrollable and took that long to get more blankets

A. D.
Very nice good size room with a nice shower room. Breakfast is good and the reception is nice. The car park, and entrance to the hotel from the car park, is a little hard to find
D.
Clean modern and well appointed room with aircon. Good city centre location. Buffet breakfast is okay.
R. G.
Comfortable rooms nice staff and great breakfast close to shops

Great value for money. Well located near most of the offices and surrounded by nice food joints as well. Attached photos are taken from 11th floor of the hotel.

Love it, staff can't do enough for you

Good stay
If the WiFi or phone signal was better here the score would be better. …

Great hotel, comfortable and clean, staff are helpful and friendly, good breakfast although sausages very cheap!
