L. O.We really enjoyed our stay, especially the staff who were all faultlessly helpful and cheerful, and made our family stay special, with a special birthday welcome in the room. Rooms are pretty tight for 4 of us sharing but was happy to have this option rather than having to book 2 rooms as in most hotels in the area. Shower room nice and modern, breakfast very decent for a 2 star.
K. O.The location is perfect, it's close to everything. The room is really clean and spacious. All the staff are extremely friendly and have great personalities. I like the fact that the staff can be themselves here and that they don't have to pretend to be someone else. The breakfast was alright, you can have a couple of coffees and some toast and fruit, which is fine. I have stayed here a few times for gigs and i really like it here. There is a really nice pub round the corner and it's close to the train station and a lot of gig venues. The staff are all really nice, which makes a difference and is why people like me make return visits.
J. L.This is a great hotel in an excellent location for all the city Centra and only a few minutes walk from Birmingham New Street station. The rooms are well equipped, clean and have a comfy bed. I like the desk space for you laptop as I stay there on business. The bar is only small but all you need really. The breakfast is very nice with loads of choice.

Restaurant still not reopened since covid but they do serve a quite expensive 'stone baked pizza' - aka a Chicago Town stuffed crust I guess sourced from the local supermarket and chucked in the oven! Didn't feel particularly well treated - an example would be an offer shown in the lift but not offered when I purchased - when I queried afterwards was told 'sorry I can't change anything now, it's already been rung through the till'. Overall an OK stay though, room functional and clean and great views over the city centre. If you're looking for luxury avoid, but it ticks the box for cheap and at least mostly cheerful 🙂
