On Saturday 11th June my daughter, sister and myself went for an afternoon tea birthday treat.
On entering the hotel the atmosphere was very friendly and calming.
We were met by wonderful staff who showed us to our table, very chatty, helpful staff, nothing was to much trouble for them.
The food was absolutely delicious, and plenty of it, the best afternoon tea iv had.
We were given complimentary birthday drinks.
Thank you to the staff for making the start of my birthday weekend so special.
We will definitely be returning. 💕💕

All lovely. Staff and facilities, beautifully decorated and delicious food. The only downside to my room was it was missing a room phone - but this is easily fixed.
I would absolutly love to go back. In a fantastic location and if you drive here - there is a NCP car park, five minutes walk away.
Overall delightful.

Our party of three has just returned from a 3-night stay. We had two superior seaview rooms which were on the second floor, lovely and clean, with window seats, super comfortable Kingsize beds and probably the best shower I personally have had in any hotel I've ever stayed in. All the staff we encountered throughout our stay were friendly and welcoming. The bar area is really nice and bright and the reception team very helpful. Location of this hotel is excellent - right on the seafront. Very close to the Lanes/pier. It's not cheap to stay here but well worth it as a treat for all the above reasons. I'd definitely return one day if lucky enough. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Myself and my partner were super excited to have our first child free weekend away together to celebrate our birthdays…..the hotel was a lovely place, unfortunately we wasn’t too happy with a few things, like our first night stay, our room was vibrating with such loud music from a wedding below us, that we went and walked the streets until it ended because we just couldn’t relax, the only solution offered to us was to go and have a drink in their bar, unfortunately it happened again on the third night, they did notify us this time and offer to move our room if needed the bed was two separate beds clipped together, which wouldn’t have been bad thing if you’re not a snuggler like me, so I kept falling in the middle of the beds, and we had two separate single covers….odd. There was no air con in our room (which I’m sure it said it did have when I booked) and the window was screwed shut, the tv in the room was very basic for such an expensive stay, you’d maybe expect something a little more than a few channels to try wind down from a busy day.
We did enjoy going down to the pool and hot tubs each day, it was very unique and almost tranquil. The breakfast was great, with a decent selection.

We had the afternoon spa package with afternoon tea which was a great experience! The staff were really helpful and professional. The treatments we had (facial and back treatment) were fabulous and left us feeling refreshed. The afternoon tea was delicious and the bottomless tea and coffee was great. The spa facilities were really nice, the pool was a little on the cold side but the hydrotherapy pool was lovely. Sauna, steam room and hot tubs were all great, well maintained and not too busy.
The only downside really was the size of the changing room and there only being one toilet in there, which can't really be helped due to the limited space in the basement!
Overall we had an excellent experience, and for what we received we thought it was good value. Will definitely be back!

Superb stay last night. We had a Glimse sea view room 503. The view of the old pier. Water and of Brighton & hove was superb. The room had a massive and extremely comfortable bed. Beautifully presented and spotless. Bathrobes a hair dryer a iron & board and a good stocked mini bar. We used the amazing spa . Then had a yummy lunch at the bar. You must try the delicious Mac & cheese and whitebait both were really delicious topped with yummy wine. The reception staff were superb and very friendly. Thank you to the chefs for our little anniversary chocolates in the room. And to top it off a fabulous breakfast matched excellent customer service. But a Big shout out and thank you to Sally the General manager of the hotel for sorting out our very last minute booking. A fabulous stay thank you so much from us both. .

My partner and I had the most amazing stay last week! Firstly the customer service was incredible with the most kind, helpful and very very attentive staff! We were treated like celebrities! The spa is just immense too, we felt completely re-set after using the lovely facilities and listening to the healing frequencies. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We honestly can't wait for our next stay, we'll be back very soon!! Thank you so much for the best stay we've ever had :)

Thanks to lovely staff here who made our stay very enjoyable! I wish they had a car park but apart from that a lovely place with great spa. Highly recommend the sea view room with air con. Thanks again all

I went there for a spa day retreat with massage and lunch included.
The vegetarian meal options were good but everything was with pesto, both burrata and ravioli (not bad but a bit limited). The vegan option was a bit light.
The spa is very good, it was not too busy on Thursday afternoon.
We had a 45 back massage as well which again was good.
The place is located in the heart of Brighton. I recommend this place I had a good time there.

We had the most amazing weekend away at Brighton Harbour Hotel & Spa! The rooms are lovely and the spa is amazing! We had such a great time, well worth the money. The Staff are fantastic every single one of them. Great location just on the seafront and not a long walk from the town center at all.
Just a quick tip if you would like the NCP car park discount the hotel offer you need to download the NCP car park app not the card given when entering the car park and at the end of your stay ask for the discount from the lovely reception staff.

Over sells itself as a boutique hotel but pretty average. Rain shower a dribble, no bath in room, but advertised as such. Room refresh didn’t change mugs or restock fridge. Paint a bit shabby throughout. Spa not as good as photos online. Generally feels a bit over priced for what it is and not up there with other hotels in the price bracket. Sea view good though. Breakfast reasonable but nothing to shout about.
T. W.
I think we must put this into context, in terms of accommodation in Brighton it’s not bad, in comparison with the rest of the UK, exceptionally poor. You’re paying more than you would in London for rooms that are noisy, cramped and have no air conditioning. The spa is dilapidated and in a dungeon and the quality of products and services is antiquated at best… but, if you have to visit Brighton it’s not the worst option!

The staff in reception couldn't have been more helpful and they upgraded us for free to a suite. Room was nice, but could do with a bit of a freshen up, as some of the wall paper had obviously got damp at some point. Ideal location for the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Really liked this hotel. We stayed in Room 109 which was a "Superior Sea View". The bed was fantastic, as was the shower. Lovley quirky decoration throughout the hotel. And we had a great time enjoying the complimentary South Bank Gin as we watched the sunset.
The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The breakfast choice was great, buffet cereals and made to order hot food.
The spa was a real bonus, pool large enough to swim in, another large hyrdotherapy pool plus 3 more hotubs, and a steam and sauna room. Very welcome for sweating out the free gin!
My only criticism is that from room 109 you can hear the music coming through the floorboards from the bar below (till 11pm). But as they provide complimentary ear plugs you could block it out.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a night away in Brighton.

Spa morning & lunch. Decent size pool, hydrotherapy pool, Jacuzzis, steam room & sauna. Excellent facial from Dafni. Really good lunch in the delightful restaurant with great views onto the seafront. All staff friendly & helpful

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Brighton Harbour Hotel. On arrival, and throughout, the staff were nothing but helpful and courteous. Unfortunately the lift was out of order for our entire stay, and we were placed on the 2nd floor. Whilst the reception staff very kindly offered us the use of the service elevator, this was not always easily accessible due to the busyness of the hotel. We were informed that the lift would be repaired ASAP, but this did not happen during our stay.
The room was well presented and clean (if a little small for two people). We were greeted by a Happy Birthday helium balloon, nice chocolates & a hand written note. The bathroom was small but functional, and of contemporary design. There were a couple of oversights from the housekeeping department, as the empty tissue box was not replenished etc, but overall the rooms were cleaned to a very high standard. The hotel has a convient central location, however the downside of this is that there is a lot of noise from the party goers in the street downstairs throughout the night.
The evening we spent in the hotel bar was very nice, with helpful staff & tasty drinks. There was quite a lot of noise due to a wedding party going on in the hotel, but we were pre warned about this by the staff.
The mornings in the hotel resturant certainly provided breakfast with a view, as you look straight out onto the promenade & the Seafront. The large windows allow lots of sunlight in, and the decor with nods towards the fairground theme, provided a pleasant setting for our meal.
The breakfast provided was exceptional, with a lovely buffet with a wide variety of choice. This was followed by food from the kitchen, cooked to order, that was wonderfully fresh.
The staff in the resturant were friendly, professional & efficient. A particular mention to the gentleman waiter on breakfast duty this weekend just gone, who was around 5'7" with dark hair tied back, wearing a waistcoat. He was smiley, approachable and willing to do anything to make our experience more enjoyable for us. Unfortunately we didn't catch his name.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in the hotel resturant, especially the banana cream dessert- highly recommended!
The spa facilities provided are in need of renovation, as they look grubby and unkempt (particularly the tiling). The swimming pool was cold, and many of the decorative light features in the pool were not working.
The hydrotherapy pool was disappointing, and felt like a cold jacuzzi.
Heading downstairs, the two hot tubs provided were wonderful. The subtle lighting features and the hot water temperature, alongside the authentic architecture created a magical experience.
The sauna & the steam room were very nice, with perfect temperatures, not too overwhelming.
We thoroughly enjoyed our couples massage, and would happily return. The massage therapists were very professional and thorough, and provided a truly relaxing experience, that made our weekend.

Went for lunch and dinner at Brighton Harbour Hotel and was pleasantly surprised with the gluten free food options on the menu, which are coeliac safe. Chips are fried separately and they have gluten free fish and chips, which was amazing! Lovely staff and well located.

My bridal party surprised me by booking this hotel for my bachelorette weekend 24th-26th June.
Customer service: 2/5 (except cleaners and reception staff who were great)
Vegan-friendliness: 2/5
Allergen-friendliness: 1/5
Comfort: 4/5
Cleanliness: 4/5
Value for money: 2/5 (Overpriced, paying for location and the spa)
Location: 5/5
The Good: The hotel was very well presented and clean. Everything was modern. The beds were super comfy - such a great night's sleep. There was every facility in the room (ironing board and iron, a fan, tea and coffee-making facilities and even gin and sherry decanted). The lounging areas in the spa were nice as well as the hydrotherapy pool and hot tubs. They allowed my bridesmaids to decorate the room and the reception and cleaning staff were super friendly. Staff were willing to adapt breakfast to suit vegan diet. Discounted parking.
The Bad: My main disappointment: one of my bridesmaids is allergic to dairy, eggs and nuts. At the breakfast buffet, she took milk from the milk bottle labelled 'Soya' to eat her Weetabix with. Instantly she knew something was wrong and became ill. The milk labelled 'Soya' was actually dairy. This mistake could have cost someone their life, luckily my friend reacted quickly and she was ok. What stunned me was the lack of proper apology from the restaurant staff. They did not seem to realise the gravity of their mistake. They are lucky we're not suing. Playing with someone's health is not to be taken lightly which is exactly what they did. They didn't offer her a free breakfast, discount her room or offer any other form of compensation, which I find terrible.
Furthermore, the spa was a health and safety inspector's nightmare with lots of tiled steps down into different areas, a labyrinth. There were rubber mats and warning signs but it seemed a bit dangerous.
The main pool size was disappointing, could have been a bit larger. The spa was not very accommodating when our booking had been messed up, we were not sure who's fault this was. We accommodated them and not the other way round. After paying £60+ for one treatment, I don't think this was very nice customer service. They managed to amend one of our bookings which was something. Also, flip flops were not free for hotel guests, only for those paying for a spa day. I found this really stingy, I mean they are just flip flops!
The bedroom (twin room with sea view) was a bit small which made it awkward to get around. I can understand if it was one of the cheaper rooms. But after paying an eye watering £318 per night for a twin room with a corner sea view, it could have been much bigger! Our bridal suite in Scotland is only costing £149 per night and that's a spa hotel too and the suite is enormous, with a four poster bed, roll top bath, balcony and sofa. I guess the North/South divide is bigger than I thought!
Food is overpriced in the restaurant, no vegan options (I left lunch to go and get food elsewhere) - in Brighton of all places, I think they should get with the times and have a vegan menu or at the very least, options. No non dairy milk in the bedroom either.
In summary, I think it was ok, but overpriced for what it was and I've paid much less for better hotels/spas in Surrey and London and B&B's in Brighton. I will definitely not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone!
S. M.
Lovely staff - really good food clean bright your paying for the convienance of the beach, the lanes and the quality of the hotel.
good cocktails spa is small but hot tubs are hot everything is good quality.... pool is cold but thats actually quite refreshing - tratments were amazing!! and reasonably priced given standard of experiance. a lovely hotel i would come back.
the only reason its 4 not 5 is we were in one of the smallest rooms which wasnt that far prices off a standard room and it had blocked window only access out of bed one side so dont think id stay in 116 again by choice but what stops me giving 5 stars is that lift wasnt working being disabled this was an issue so i couldnt use the spa as much as i wanted, the phone in my room didnt work so i couldnt call anyone and with lift out of order it was a trek to speak to anyone if we needed help and spa didnt pick up outside line.
if i was in better room or the 116 was less money and had working phone and lift it would be 5*

Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, food and room were delightful. And right on the seafront, too! Will definitely be coming back ☺️
I. J. W.
Beds are extremely high.
On different levels so not so easy for the disabled person
Toilets are OK but nothing special
Some rooms have very poor views
Restaurant has very basic menu not to all tastes

Friendly bar staff. Have not stayed, so cannot comment. Attended a wedding reception which was a blast. Bring a full wallet, as drinks at hotel prices. Too be expected, as I was in one!
M. R.
I went to the spa, ok but felt claustrophobic, strong chlorine smell, very hot, very humid, low ceilings, dimly illuminated with a sense of no air.. pleased to get out and breath fresh air.
J. F.
The room we had was disappointing as the view from the window was of old outside walls and drain pipes. I feel we should have been told about this when booking! The room was small and some of the spa facilities were out of order. Breakfast was not included and at £16 per head, over priced in my opinion. On the plus side, staff were very friendly and welcoming, rooms were cleaned well and the overall ambiance was relaxing and quirky!

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. The front reception team were so kind, helpful and cheery. They were a pleasure to interact with.
Our room was stunning, great sea views, very clean and amazing decor.
The pool and spa was lovely and relaxing, and child free which was fantastic.
Honestly a lovely weekend away, we will be back!

I booked the Relaxing Spa morning for my Daughter’s birthday present. We both enjoyed the spa experience enormously. The staff were very professional yet friendly, the Spa was beautiful, full of character features and very clean. We loved the hot tub in the old cellars, the ambience was amazing. We had plenty of time to enjoy all the facilities and felt very relaxed. As part of the package we booked bespoke back and neck massage. Both masseuses were excellent, mine was called Veronica, she was brilliant and very pleasant with it. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant afterwards, the food was good and the service was excellent.
L. L.
Lovely hotel, very clean, good size rooms. Spa nice but sauna and jacuzzi areas quite small, with covid didn't want to share with too many people.
D. R.
Fantastic service. Very friendly. Lovely, clean building. We only had a glass of wine here, but it was an enjoyable experience. We will be going again.

From start to finish everything was lovely. Excellent warm welcome by the staff at reception. Spa was excellent really megical relaxing atmosphere to unwind in. Our room was clean and well presented with a very comfortable bed. Had a meal in the evening staff were fantastic really lovely service made us feel well looked after. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options with lovely sea views. The hotel has a great atmosphere and a relaxing vibe I would definitely come again.
L. M.
Beautiful hotel. Was here on business. Rooms were lovely. Comfy bed and extremely clean. The only two things I would say that could be improved are the selection of food for functions and the pressure in the hydropool and hot tubs was not substantial enough. Otherwise a really good place to stay 😌
H.
Good but I don't feel like we got what we paid for. It's a lovely hotel and great location, spa was great and staff were friendly. The main disappointment was that we paid for a superior sea view room after seeing pictures online but were disappointed that our room didn't have a bay window or even a proper seating area, just the one single chair. The bed was comfy but we'd been expecting a king size bed only to discover it was just two single beds pushed together - its not the comfiest nights sleep when you can feel the split in the middle of the mattress.
Overall it was ok but let down by the bed and lack of seating to appreciate the sea view despite these being advertised.
C. S.
Stayed here recently with my daughter, Room was lovely, good size and clean, great sea views. No noise issues, Pool and Hot tubs were lovely only comment is would be good if more time slots were offered like an afternoon slot aswel for kids to use the pool. Breakfast was Lovely great selection, Reccomend the Pancakes. Staff were friendly. Would stay again. In the future. :)

I came for lunch yesterday to Celebrate my Birthday with 2 friends...On our arrival we were welcomed by friendly helpful staff..our lunch was excellent 👌 food, thoroughly enjoyed it!

Lovely hotel but the room we booked was tiny. Tried to upgrade but the hotel was full. Should really advertise the square footage
J. E.
Amazing location with a perfect view of the sea. Service was friendly and very accommodating, even brought our takeaway to our door!

Lovely rooms and spa. Nice food in the restaurant. Slight confusion with some service in restaurant but generally good

This is my 2nd Birthday @ Brighton Harbour Hotel & spa, this is the view from my room absolutely beautiful. Room, spa & food is amazing @ The Harbour. Thank you for a memorable birthday

Came in for a few cocktails on a night out. Amazing espresso martinis and a good selection of cocktails overall.

The spa is absolutely fantastic! Incredibly relaxing. There's so much to it, a pool, hydrotherapy pool, hot tubs, steam room and sauna, but it's not overbooked so wasn't busy. The massage was brilliant and all the staff were fab. I had such a lovely time!
J. S.
Lovely hotel. Rooms perfect, with everything needed for a short stay, including complimentary alcoholic beverages 😋 Delicious cocktails, fantastic food. Breakfast via room service a little late, but worth the wait, yummy. Bonus coffee machine in the room. Nice big shower, and who doesn't love big fluffy white towels??😀
D. M.
Such a beautiful hotel! Our seaview room was beautiful and we were welcomed with chocolates and strawberries. The staff are all so lovely. We also had a 3 course dinner and the food was unbelievable. Highly recommend anyone wanting a staycation in Brighton to stay here!
R. P.
Great staff, lovely corner suite and the spa facilities under the hotel were very relaxing. The bar staff were great, and masters at cocktails.
Will definitely be staying again!
J. H.
Great hotel and location. Staff were friendly, but service was pretty average. They forgot my order at breakfast, which meant I waited 15 minutes and had to leave to get my train. There were only two other covers in. Also gave me a bunk bed for a work trip. But did change on requesting.
G. K.
A wonderful 24 hours in Brighton with my daughter. This hotel is FABULOUS. Our room was just great, fluffy towels, giant comfy bed, dressing gowns and everything you could need for a brilliant spa break.
The spa is unique, located in the basement it has a swimming pool, hydro therapy pool, hot tubs, sauna and steam room. Staff are lovely.

Nice hotel, friendly staff.
Restaurant food was good at both breakfast and dinner with good choices.
The spa was quite busy but the treatments were perfect knowledgable staff. Really put you at ease.
Would definitely visit again.
L. O.
The food was superb! Really can't complain. You must try the duck croquettes! The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly and the fish and chips were the best we'd had in a long time! Thanks very much!
J. K. R.
Very nice but never stayed there. Seemed a nice clean place to stay.

Fabulous venue. Beautifully decorated clean and elegant. Professional friendly staff. Was there to celebrate a friends birthday. 💝

Nice Hotel - Bad night's sleep! The Hotel is nice and the room was lovely, with all the amenities, complimentary drinks and lovely sea view. HOWEVER, the white shutters, although very cute do not block out any light and there are no additional black out curtains or blinds so the room was fully illuminated by 6am (we did sass tay on the longest day of the year!). The floorboards are also incredibly creaky and loud and the ceilings are thin so and the people upstairs seemed to get up at 7am and proceed to do laps of thier room so there was constant noise. The combination meant we weren't able to enjoy a nice lie in on our break! So a tip might be to get a top floor room?
Also when I booked directly online I never recieved a receipt or confirmation email or booking reference. And on checking out we were told we had a charge for room service and for the mini bar - neither of which were ours - they took these straight off but we were also charged for our breakfast on the day of our check in - so clearly the system isn't great so I would recommend people check their receipts!!
T. C.
Me and my wife had a mixed experience here. We stayed on 18 July for one night. The hotel is in a brilliant sea front location but if you're driving, the NCP car park is a bit of a nightmare to have to queue up for. We waited in a queue for a good hour.
The room we had was nice and cosy but as the temperature was so hot, all we had in our room was a really poor fan to cool us down. It was difficult to sleep on this night as the hotel is opposite Pryzm which had just reopened at midnight so it was either have some air come in but hear a cacophony of noise or shut them and rely on the old fan. In the end we had to rely on the second option and it resulted in us not having a restful night at all.
Onto some really good plus points. The spa is great. Set in the old smuggler's tunnels, the pools and jacuzzis are very atmospheric and relaxing. I really enjoyed our two visits to the spa area and did feel refreshed after.
Also the dinner service was exceptional. Really great attention to detail and the food was delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.
Another low point though was breakfast the next day. For a basic menu, orders were forgotten and everything took ages to arrive. We were there over an hour to have a simple breakfast. There didn't seem to be any organisation as to who was serving who or in what order. It was disappointing as the service had been so impressive at dinner the night before.
Overall the Harbour Hotel was a mixed bag. Great location, spa and dinner service. But disappointing that not all rooms have air conditioning and if you're in a room facing Pryzm, you're in for a noisy night. I would return but probably only in an air conditioned room where the windows could remain closed to drown out the noise.
K. L.
Fantastic chain hotel. Comfortable cosy rooms, big bed, Modern bathroom and all amenities included. Complimentary gin & Sherry.
Spa is very relaxing and well maintained. Staff polite, and professional. We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. Limited menu in the restaurant but tasty and well presented. Definitely return and definitely recommend to others as a great hotel to stay in Brighton. Sea view room is well worth the upgrade 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice little boutique hotel with great views. The beds are very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.
If you want to have a great stay in Brighton, the Brighton Harbour Hotel & Spa is the place to go!
J. H.
What a fantastic hotel and spa. Great location and close to parking ( which you get a discount of booked via the hotel)
The only 2 things I would say negative wild be... the food portions were smaller than expected and to pay the price for the hotel and have to leave the spa early was a little bit of shame.
But over all, fantastic 👏

The hotel has been amazing to us from the start. They gave us an upgrade when we arrived.
We had a massive king size bed with a great view of the beach. The staff have been so kind.
The maintenance man was so good. We had a cable issue in the telly and it lost picture and sound and he offered us complimentary drinks for the inconvenience whilst he fixed it. I didn't get his name but he was so good and friendly.
Definitely come again when we can.
N. K.
A bit disappointing for the cost. We had a strange room with a sunken bed which was difficult to get up from. Nowhere other than the bed to sit and enjoy the sea view. It might have worked better if the settee was in the window and the bed in the other part of the room.
G. W.
Stayed for my birthday and everyone was friendly and helpful. The room overlooked the sea. The bed was so comfortable and everywhere was spotless. I would certainly go back. Thank you for my birthday goodies.

We had an amazing stay at the Harbour Hotel. Sea View room was fantastic, probably the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful, our bags were taken up to our room for us and they were happy to help with any queries we had. The spa is amazing!! Not busy at all and such a nice touch. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
R. S.
We enjoyed a lovey night at the hotel. The views were stunning, the room very comfortable and the location was perfect. A few little things would have made the stay even better such as a clearer system at breakfast, a more powerful shower and some fresh milk in the fridge. However, overall we would highly recommend a visit.
O. T.
We really struggled to find somewhere nice overlooking the sea but this place did. Whilst we were eating, you could look out onto the sea which was great. The only reason it’s a 4 star is because the service was a bit slow but would recommend to go here! ( We went to the restaurant not the hotel)
I. Y.
Warm welcoming from the front desk ! Great service at the bar especially amazing job from Simone!! Well done and keep the good work!

Only went here for breakfast which was really good and the staff were lovely and looked after us

Amazing boutique hotel with great spa facilities. Awesome stay spent here.

Absolutely brilliant.
Can't fault this hotel in any way.
Everything about the Harbour is top class.
The super friendly and accommodating staff, the amazing bar/restaurant with it's sumptuous menu and chilled vibe.
Rooms are comfortable and well presented with great views and new bathroom.
The health spa is like something from ancient Mediterranean Europe. All relaxed and cavernous.
Best place I've stayed in a while and will definitely return

I only visited the spa, but I would highly recommend that! I had a facial, a massage and took the option of adding on spa access for £15. Both treatments were exactly what I needed. My skin has never looked and felt better and the massage was super relaxing.
The spa was lovely! Steam room and sauna are really nice and hot and everything was super clean. Loved the couches and relax areas as well. Will definitely be back!
E. A.
Had an amazing time in this hotel. Loved the interior, service, breakfasts.
We had deluxe double-room with sea view, and i enjoyed everything about it.
The room was huge and looked gorgeous. Bed was really big, i believe, six people would sleep pretty comfortable in there :)
Thankful for an opportunity to spend our vacation in such a comfortable place.

A weird mix of wonderful and hopeless. Fantastic position, wonderful upgraded room with promenade/ sea views. Front of house ‘very professional’ with ‘suited’ managers scooting around. Sadly, valve stuck on room radiator… maxed out at 33C …. Air con at max fan… got it down but very noisy.. very difficult to sleep. Breakfast… a shambles. Only 3 couples in waited an age… still waiting for Fruit and Fibre. Impression is understaffed, recruiting and training ‘new employees’ and those on duty not in their normal roles. Girl doing bar service ‘I don’t know because I don’t normally do bar work’ 🙄😳🙄. Maybe POST COVID LOCKDOWN recovery… but still charging too ££
C. F.
Stayed for a few days. Lovely hotel clean and food excellent. Only issue for me is they could be more environmentally friendly . Clean towels everyday not needed.. but would recommend this hotel.
J. M.
Had an amazing stay at this quaint hotel. The staff were exceptionally warm, helpful and welcoming. Dealt with any queries immediately whether great or small and I don't think I saw 1 member of staff who weren't professional and smiling. Both rooms and common areas are kept clean and sanitized and the food for both lunch and breakfast was delicious. Definitely somewhere I would refer people if you're looking for somewhere to stay right in the heart of Brighton. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the Spa wasn't open but that gives me a great excuse to come back 😊
B.
The hotel is cool, trendy, ultra clean and generally a high standard. The "HarSpa" is a really unique experience though. For a start it is entirely subterranean located across three floors: basement, sub-basement and even lower the sub-sub-basement (where steam room and sauna are both located). There are numerous giant wooden jacuzzi hot tubs, also a warm bubbling pool with water jet, and then a quirkily designed larger cool water swimming pool.
All are sparkling clean. But I recommend going at end of day, after 6pm when number of people visibly thins out or early in the morning. The underground nature of spa is especially unique since everything is housed in "vaults" complete with original brickwork - which acts to cool things down after the heat of sauna/steam etc

Friendly staff, great spa. Restaurant and bar poor and slow service. Food was good when it eventually arrived in stages. Slow drinks service. Rooms are lovely just a bit noisy
L. B.
Amazing room with a sea view. The bed was extremely comfortable and loved all the small touches such as the gin and sherry complimentary bar. The spa was quite busy on the Saturday but still relaxing - the gym was never busy and had plenty of equipment. Would come again!
T. L.
Room and bar very nice. Unfortunately let down by very poor breakfast experience. Waited over and hour for food, when one of only maybe 5 tables in the restaurant. And this after waiting 20 minutes for coffee that was barely warm and incredibly weak, like it had been poured from a drip tray.
K. B.
Every part of our hotel stay was a delight. The staff were so friendly, the hotel and rooms were very clean and comfy, the spa and treatments were excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Location wise it was on the seafront near the lanes and pier - perfect location.

This is a place to go it was 126 quid quite breakfast the food was stunning the room was stunning them you go down unto the tunnels and there's a swimming pool gym sauna steam room cold tub hot tub all sorts please go friendly staff nice and polite and helpful only downfall was the ncp parking so u have to down load the app as its 20 quid with the hotel and it gives you a scan card on your phone so you log into the car park we had trouble getting out as the hotel never activated the bar code but the ncp where on the phone to help us sort it and give it to us half price due to the trouble we had bless them apart from that please go most defo

Very nice hotel. We stayed in the suite well worth it great sea views and very nice interior decor.
L. C.
Great stay here a few weeks ago, staff were very polite and helpful. Room was upgraded and was beautiful! Definitely recommend the cocktails at the bar, and the complimentary Gin and Sherry in the rooms were perfect!
Spa was lovely and very different to ones I'd been to before! Definitely recommend staying here when coming to Brighton!
S. B.
Birthday stay. Room was upgraded on arrival to a full sea view which would have been great if it wasn't such a wet windy day. Room was nice and the complimentary gin and sherry was a nice touch. Used the spa, had all the usual stuff, only negative I thought the pool was on the chilly side. As we had a dinner voucher for the restaurant we ate there, although the food was nice it wasn't as good as I was expecting. Had cocktails after and they were fantastic, our waiters attention to detail was off the planet. Overall a nice birthday stay
O. M.
Had an amazing overnight stay, for the first time. Right on the sea front, and the staff's customer service was fantastic. Bar and half price cocktails were amazing. The Spa and Spa treatments were just what we needed and would definitely come back - real shame the spa opened 3 hours late on our check out morning with technical difficulties, although the staff in the hotel did support with late checkout and a breakfast. Over all, would highly recommend.

Staff:
- The staff were very nice and courteous, they were more than happy to help with any issues we had and always had a smile on their faces.
Room:
- The room we booked was a superior double room and with the email conformation they sent, they attached a few images of the room so we knew what we were in for which was nice, the room itself was lovely and clean, a good air conditioning unit and a table with complimentary sherry and gin, and a very nice sea view.
Utilities:
- we used the spa facilities which were very nice, the pool was clean and spacious along with the hydrotherapy pool and togetherness pools which provided a very relaxed feel to it
Restaurant:
- we used the restaurant for breakfast this morning which was all complimentary and was all cooked perfectly, no complaints.
10/10 would recommend!! :)

I had booked a double room with a third party but they sent the wrong details to the hotel. Ended up staying in a Double Bunk Room which was quite comfortable than I'd expected. The staff were very kind and helpful about the issue.
Bed was comfortable. The room was very clean and generally looks like the hotel had just been renovated. So most of the facilities were new and not worn out which I liked.
One issue it was very noisy at night. From sounds from random animals by the beach (birds I presume) and what sounded like a nightclub nearby.
Also the room was ridiculously hot. Couldn't turn off the radiator. Found out in the morning there was a tiny fan in the closet that maybe could have helped.
I didn't try out the spa or restaurant.
However would still definitely recommend

Great staff and good chefs.
Hotel is located in really good spot.
Old classic building could do with a refurbished but is very warm and cosy feel
N. W.
Amazing spa and lovely rooms. Great views too!

The best hotel in Brighton!
The staff are amazing - 'Chiara' (restaurant supervisor) and George (bar tender) thank you so much, you were very kind.
A. O.
I’d love to give this 5* but sadly the room was tiny, far smaller than I would expect, a lot of shuffling was required and how many times did I walk into the wall mounted TV! probably not what my partner expected for the money and a surprise weekend away, I could see he tried not to show his disappointment, the air con was broken but we were supplied with a fan which helped.
The side units were totally covered with items, there seemed to be nowhere to put anything?! There was a suitcase stand and that’s it!!
The bar and staff were lovely and well staffed if the selection was very limited, when we tried to book for dinner at reception we were told ‘fully booked’ to find the whole bar and restaurant empty when we came in for drinks, when we asked if we could have food ‘of course!’ Other customers were turned away too from an empty restaurant and we could see themselves ask the same question???
T. N.
Room was upgraded which was the first amazing thing, WAS not expecting the spa to be how it was! Compared to somewhere like David Lloyd it’s a 10/10 for me. The spa facilities felt somewhere not on a busy road on Brighton seafront. They got everything right even the temperatures of the showers next to different bits in the spa they changed to suit the temp of the water! Amazing, would recommend 110%! Definitely coming back
J. D.
We only had a coffee before we went to the Brighton Centre to see a show, but the waiter was great and good coffee too.!
G. C.
Unfortunately our stay didn’t start well with issues over the bookings, which were then exacerbated by being told they wanted to keep a £100 deposit, despite the rooms already being paid up front. Then the Receptionist was rude and this spoilt the whole start of our long weekend.
However, the rooms were well presented and the showers were good, but our large bath (extra) was actually dirty and had pubic hair left in it, which stopped that being used straight away!
The cooked elements of the Breakfast was poor, with our poached eggs resembling boiled ones, but the cold buffet was reasonable with a good selection.
The Bar prices are very high for a low end establishment, so just be aware that other Hotels are cheaper
F. B.
Can't rate Harbour Hotels enough but this one was exceptional.
Staff were good.
Room is always good and bed unbelievably comfortable. So up to date, clean and attention to detail is remarkable.
Spa was incredible, probably the best I've ever seen.
Restaurant brilliant, food was delicious and drinks great.
Nothing negative to say!

This is just a review of the spa and bar as I haven't stayed in the hotel.
The spa facilities here are amazing, I can't believe they've been right in my doorstep for all this time. I went last week with a friend and for £25 we had full use of all the spa facilities for the whole day. Other hotel spas in Brighton charge around the same for a 2 hour slot, with facilities nowhere near as good as the Harbour hotel. The pool is a decent size, there is also a fantastic hydrotherapy pool too. The sauna, and steam room are lovely. There are also a couple of hot tubs, and plenty of day bed/chill out areas. You are in a cavern of complete relaxation!
The staff were fantastic, especially the staff that worked on the bar. We ordered a chocolate brownie slice thinking that it came on its own. It was served to us covered in ice cream and sweets! The cocktails are well crafted too. Overall an enjoyable experience, highly recommended.

Over priced, rooms don't match the online description. Staff not exactly brimming with helpfulness. I was treated to a midweek spa break in Brighton for my birthday.
We got there early and were told we couldn't check in until 3. They said check back at 1 and they would check with housekeeping. As our time in the spa was booked for 3 we headed out for a stroll around Brighton. We didn't rush back as we were ok with waiting.Back at the hotel about 2pm, the reception staff called housekeeping to see if the room was ready. No response from housekeeping so headed down to the spa. Lovely and I've reviewed that separately. Out of the spa about 5.15 and up to the room. Distinctly average but nice. View of the sea. Plenty of space. Both absolutely tired out we headed to dinner. I've also reviewed their restaurant separately so all I'll say here is avoid it.
We went for a little stroll after dinner then back for an early night.
We were a bit miffed that we had booked a seaview room which the online information said had a busy window with seating. Ours didn't have that. When we questioned this the next morning we were told by the duty manager the website was wrong and why hadn't we queried it the first day.
We explained that we hadn't been able to see the room before we headed to the spa and when we eventually did get in the evening reception manager wasn't exactly the sharpest knife in the draw.
We were told that nothing could be done as the actual manager was off and we should email them. This was 2 weeks ago and we're still waiting on a response.
Overall, average and certainly overpriced for what we got rather than what their website promised. On the plus side it's close to subsidised parking and only minutes from the pier, seconds from the beach and minutes from the lanes and shopping.
D. P.
Gorgeous hotel. Beautiful room. Food and cocktails lovely and room service. The facial I had was really nice but disappointed I couldn't have a back massage. Great spa facilities.
A.
I went to the Harbour Hotel a few weeks back with a few of my friends to use the spa. We had such a lovely time, but the Spa receptionist, Tara was absolutely amazing. So friendly and welcoming and did everything she could to make our trip special. I can not recommend enough.
E. W.
Location: basically straight down the hill from the station, right on the waterfront. Staff very friendly and helpful; happy to hold our bags until checkin (we were early). Bar staff are AMAZING - wonderfully friendly. We got a sea view room. Good size, tho the bathroom layout is a little strange - the toilet is right next to the shower door and i kept bumping my elbow. Bed is large and comfy, nice pillows. Windows are huge and give a great view, but also let in noise at night - slightly troublesome on the weekend when there's bass thumping from a nearby club. The spa area is gorgeous, there are two pools (one cool, one warm), and then the 'grotto' which is a fancy area with hot tubs and saunas. Very luxurious. Breakfast is satisfactory, we were a bit late for the buffet but my eggs were delicious and perfectly cooked. Also, good coffee! Would stay again.
N. D.
Impeccable service and stunning rooms. All of the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The spa is a rare find and offers real tranquility. Will be back!
M. D. L.
The hotel is beautiful, well located and the staff is really friendly. Our unexpected escape to Brighton was amazing until the we came back from breakfast.
Our room had an amazing bath with the see view. However, it has been impossible to take these bath as works were happening outside of our windows. After complaining, even if the problems has not been sorted, the hotel offered us an amazing lunch at their restaurants compensation.
Thank you for the gesture and we will come back again !
C. W.
Nicely decorated hotel on the seafront. Spa is lovely. Breakfast good, staff friendly. Downsides being that the hotel take £50 from you at the beginning of your stay which we were told is “frozen” unless you buy from the bar, but we had to pay separately for drinks at the bar when checking out and the £50 was also deducted... also did ask for something special for my other half’s birthday which was agreed too until we turned up to nothing- worth reminding them on arrival maybe? Also no parking so you pay a discount rate of £18 in a near by car park. Probably would come again but for the spa
N. W.
Amazing place - will 100% be returning.
The spa was lush and relaxing, with gym facilities too. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with ensure that we had everything that we needed. We had a Deluxe Seaview Room and it was beautiful... very happy and would highly recommend it.
G. F.
It was very nice, huge bed, awesome 2 person bath feature in the room. Triple glazed windows, warm and quiet. The spa was great and we received great back massages. The food was average, I was expecting something similar to their Guildford site with a fine dining restaurant. It would be a 5 star but we were awoken by a smoke alarm being set by someone smoking, very loud and alarming (lol).
C. L.
Brilliant hotel. Spa is incredible, highlight of the trip. Staff new it was my birthday and was greeted with a welcome gift in the room and a handwritten card. Really thoughtful. Have booked to come back in June and have booked an extra room so my dad and step mum can come and enjoy.
J. L.
Me and my boyfriend go here every time we visit Brighton. Lovely spa, modern rooms and amazing breakfast.
S. V.
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, spacious Bath room, SUPER soft and luxurious beds (we slept like babies) and gorgeous view on the sea. This is a very luxurious hotel room with everything we need. Also, I like the colorful and stylish interior. Very fresh and bright, just like this town. The spot of the hotel is perfect: everything is walkable. It might get loud during the weekends (lots of outside party people and music), so if you’re a light sleeper you should use ear plugs (which are available in the room, super convenient). Also, there’s a Spa downstairs of you would like to relax and at certain hours we can swim there with our little one (he is one year old). The breakfast is SUPER, I can recommand the avocado on toast and pancakes. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
A. S.
great hotel and friendly outgoing staff we were allowed a later check out free of charge which was a nice touch because of a treatment booked . and really appreciated that all of the requests I made was fulfilled.
Breakfast was really nice, and even though there was scaffolding it didn’t affect us. great that you can leave your bags with the reception and not have to carry them round after check out.
We will be sure to return

Kind of a mixed review for this hotel. Can't fault the restaurant, food was excellent and service was faultless. Reception staff at the hotel were very helpful. Main issues were house keeping were a bit lacking. Items missing from mini bar. We came back to room after housekeeping had been on the first day and they had not replenished the drinks we had. And also did not take away or replace the cups and glasses we had used. Day old tea was still sitting on the side for both days we were there. Second issue was the spa. They have bare concrete stairs leading down to the sauna/steam area that were wet and I fell down them. Fell about 10 steps and have a nice bruise on my hip now.
L. H.
Loved the spa was very relaxing and a well hidden gem, and we also had a complimentary upgrade to our room which had a lovely sea view glimpse! Only issue and quite a major one if you actually want to sleep is the fact the hotel is located right next to a couple of nightclubs. There was no sound proofing so we were kept up until 4am!
S. G.
The spa was closed due to emergency repairs which was a bit of a shame, but the hotel were on the front foot and phoned me prior to arriving to explain the situation and also advise they had upgraded me to a sea view room which was a nice gesture.
The pool was still open so we went for a swim, it is worth noting the hotel have specific times when children can swim, when we visited in January, it was 9 to 10.30am and 4 to 5.30pm. the pool isn't large, but it is a nice pool between 3 and 4ft deep and they have multicoloured led floating balls which create a lovely ambience. There are changing rooms, but we changed in the room and went down in gowns.
The room was nice, had an iron with full size ironing board, gowns so you could change in your room for the pool. The bathroom had a lovely shower with plenty of hot water and the usual toiletries. The seaview was great, you could see the pier and the i360 if you opened the window, and you have a lovely view of the pebble and some sand beach which was surprisingly busy for January. The room was adequate in size and had plenty of wardrobe and chest of drawers space. There was also aircon so you could set the temperature you prefer as well as radiators.
Parking in Brighton is expensive, but the hotel has a deal with NCP in Russell st. Rather than paying £32 for 18hrs of parking, I paid £18, you just need to ask the hotel for a discount voucher.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, check in was simple and fast, and they couldn't have been nicer.
We didn't eat in the hotel, but the bar and restaurant looked nice, all in all, it's a super location and I would certainly visit again.
D. S.
Great hotel, but rooms facing the club need better windows. Friday night the bass from the music was so loud and the screaming people outside, couldn't sleep till 4:30. Saturday night, couldn't hear the music, so was better! Otherwise, the rooms were really nice and the spa was great!
T. M.
The receptionist is very responsive and professional. Anything we asked (toothbrush, toothpaste, ice and then another extra bucket of ice!) they gave it to us promptly. The spa was great, it had two hot tubs that were regularly empty, so …
C.
Very cute hotel. Staff were very friendly, the bed was incredibly comfortable, room clean, shower pressure was fantastic, and the views from the room were beautiful. Didn't use the spa services so I can't comment on them. But the breakfast was decent for a continental. There was an a la carte breakfast menu but I didn't order from it.
M. L.
The hotel room was immaculate. We have been staying in room 101 - and I must admit that I think this was the most luxurious room I have stayed in UK while I have paid sometimes way more. The view was amazing, receptionist super helpful and knowledgeable. I have asked whether they know where can I eat Lobster thormidor as this was my main aim for this trip, and I have received the recommendation which OMG was so good. The Spa just right, we have truly enjoyed Jacuzzi and swimming pool just what I needed. My partner was so amazed that she said we must be back, and we will be back. Thank you for the great experience.
I. J.
Attentive waiting staff.
Rather small portions. The Eton Tidy was well presented with fresh berries, but would have loved more of it, especially the meringue...
K. S.
The food here is really good and the place has such a lovely atmosphere. The staff were so helpful and kind, which is a real plus. My husband surprisingly had never had oysters before so decided to give them a try on a whim and our waiter taught him the proper way to eat them.
C. T.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The spa facilities were really nice! The only downside was paying £18 per person for breakfast, which wasn’t that great.
J. S.
Our stay at this hotel was pleasant. The room 104 was very beautiful with a glimpse of the sea, which was nice and both the room and bathroom were very clean indeed. The receptionists were very pleasant. The only downfall for our stay was the fact that the steam room was not working which was annoying for my husband as he was looking forward to using it and also the tv control in our room was not working and the tv itself was slightly messed up. Overall good stay.
T. H.
Really nice room and good facilities. Dodnt try the soap so cant comment but looked nice. Room was comfortable but no air con so was a little warm. Only reason for 3/5 is the noise. Being a seafront hotel its very close to the road and the noise was quite loud throughout the night. This made sleeping difficult for me. If you're a deep sleeper then this probably wont be an issue. Clean bathroom and nice shower in the room. Great location but no parking onsite so you need to park elsewhere. That said 2 big multi story car parks very close. Other than the noise a great hotel.
S. P.
Great central location, very friendly staff-eveb when overnight busker in the street kept us awake until 2am the staff moved us to a higher suite for no charge. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Rooms spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The spa is stunning. The only thing is the road noise if you have a sea view room, make sure you are on the higher floors.
K. S.
What a lovy time I had here. Beautiful treatments by juicy. The spa was so relaxing and the staff at the hotel from reception, bar, spa are all a credit to you. I had a wonderful nights sleep in 301 and what a wonderful view from my room. We also had a cream tea which was delicious
T. T.
Great hotel, 2 min walk from Brighton Centre, 5 min from the Pier and many stores and restaurants around. The staff is very polite and helpful, food was great (avocado toast is a winner) and the installations were clean and new. The best thing about this hotel is no doubt the SPA. Even if you are not staying there you can come for a drop-in visit. The gym is pretty impressive for hotel standards as well.
C. Q.
We did not stay in the hotel, only booked Spa. Hotel appeared clean and tidy.

With my family, I completed my trip in England at the Harbor Hotel in Brighton. We had four people with eight people. My room was very hot, the window could not be closed and there was a big fan. As a result, you could not change the room to the other. In addition, the room was very small and meant for three people ... we gave it to the front desk and could get a new room if we paid more money. After a small discussion we were given the room. This beautiful big room was so much better. There was an air condistioner and a normal bed.
Our traveling companions had the same rooms we had in the beginning, but they slept very badly. This was partly due to the warmth in the room and the moderate ventilation. Unfortunately, there were no rooms left. This spa hotel suggests that they have a nice night's sleep, so we find this very contradictory. But the staff is helpful.
The spa is beautiful! But Very hot .. also the prices for a massage are very expensive. We got bathrobes and bath slippers in our hotel room so we could enjoy it.
The food in the restaurant is really worth the food. The breakfast was top notch, but the day after that half was up. We breakfast every day at the same time, so we concluded that it's really messy.
At lunch, nothing was wrong with the fact that we received a small card with small dishes because the lunch was over. We could order steak but a simple soup was requested. The cocktails are very tasty.
One tip at the hotel is that they have to remember before they stop people in an uncomfortable room. Even the friendly gentleman told the front desk that it is indeed ridiculous.
Together with my family we think this hotel is worth 3 stars
I would recommend this hotel, but they have a lot to learn!
N. C.
Gorgeous historic venue in a stunning location. Plenty of photo opportunities and the staff are super friendly. As a Brighton wedding videographer I love this venue. Worth a look for sure if you are looking for a venue in this area
A. B.
Very attractive modern rooms, great sea view and good double glazing eliminates traffic noise. Really excellent restaurant, 're food is exceptionally good but the room is always cold (in 3 visits consistently so). Spa ok but the grotto part was s bit grotty when we went - smelled horrible and puddles everywhere.
L. B.
My daughter purchased a half day Spa package for my birthday which included use of the Spa plus a half our back massage and then a 2 course meal in the restaurant. Perfect except for the Restaurant, where the menu was very limited and the staff told us we could not spend more than £15 each for our voucher, but when we checked it afterwards we were entitled to 2 courses so we paid an extra £14 when it should have been included. Staff need to be better informed.
F.
well positioned
room we selected was so tiny and you could not swing a cat in.
changed rooms as we booked a bunk and offered a double and surprise they found us a room ! A larger bunk room
Decor is lovely and staff nice enough.
woken at 130 and 530 with bottles crashing and being collected.
there are better options.
good breakfast and selection
I would avoid very hot rooms small.
E.
Stayed here for my boyfriends birthday , the staff were amazing and so friendly. The room looked exactly like the photos and the spa is UNREAL , we also had massages and they were also great ! Would highly recommend staying here if going to Brighton or for a treat ! We will definitely be going back ... all in all AMAZING
C. S.
Great place. Room was a good size and in great condition (we had a sea view). The hotel is still being renovated so there was some noise as work was being carried out however this was not at unsociable times. The restaurant was good - very fishy as you would expect from a 'Harbour' hotel. Restaurant was expensive. The spa facilities were nice - a small pool and other nice touches. Make sure to check out the Grotto!
N. G.
Amazing rooms, nice little touches like free gin and decent coffee maker in the room. The spa is amazing so many lovely intimate hot tubs and rooms. Super helpful and friendly staff a truly relaxing place to stay I highly recommend the spa package.
T. D.
Not as good as Southampton harbour hotel which is why I visited here.
Ok for a quick lunch, nice food and great drinks. Decor needs an upgrade and seat benching is too low for the tables.
J. W.
I had a really good stay here. The standard are quite high for the price you pay and the staff was supper helpful and really nice. The location is really good as you've got the see front view and the city is literally right there so everything is easy to access. Yeah great place overall 👍🏾
T. M.
Me and my son had an overnight stay here on 11th Sept. I won a facebook competition for a free overnight say with bed and breakfast. The prize was actually to stay in the St Ives Hotel but as distance was a problem from where I live I asked if we could choose somewhere nearer to our home. I'm so pleased we made the choice to stay at your hotel as it was absolutely amazing! Lovely room, great facilities and restaurant, delicious breakfast and delightful helpful staff.
Thank you so much for making our stay such a happy memorable one!
L. Y.
Room not as described. Breakfast average and no refund on parking after e-mail promised refund. Given ticket which didn't work in machine. Be prepared to spend over £30 per night for overnight parking.
On a positive note, the food in the conference room was lovely.
T. P.
A really great hotel. Lovely rooms (so long as it is not a corner room!), very professional service/ attitude from the staff and the spa is a hidden gem and was much better than expected. Have stayed twice, and will stay more in the future.
D. V.
The room was great...my issue was the size of the cabin room; I booked it under the impression it was small, but didn't quite realise how small it actually was - no wardrobe, no space to move, filled with too much clutter (desk, two chairs, a bedside table). The room was great other than being small, but the window was painted shut so it was incredibly hot in the room.
B. 8.
Was really looking forward to my stay here. Hotel is lovely but customer service lets it down. We came down for a wedding. There was a group of us staying. Explained over the phone that we we wanted to spend last day at the spa, chilling out after wedding. Was told this was fine and we would have full use on last day. Unfortunatley, this was not the case. On last day we were told we would have to pay for spa as it only available until checkout(11am). When I tried to explain this is not what we were told on the phone the member of staff ignored me and started talking to the next customer. So rude. They also failed to explain that parking isnt free for guest and there is a charge. 2 days of parking cost us an extra £35. Think I would book Jurys Inn next time.
R. C.
Nice hotel with an amazing spa. Too bad that the rooms are not very spacious but instead feel like they stuffed anything in them to make them feel luxurious. My room had a bath tub next to the bed. Who needs that? It blocked the path to the window with it's beautiful views
M. R.
Clean, comfortable and pleasant staff. Very nice breakfast
D. M.
Hotel was actually really nice, bit given the crazy high prices you would expect a lot more for the money. Main let down was service levels and finer touches. Don't visit the spa on a Saturday as it's completely hen and stag dominated. On saying that I did find about 30 mins respite from parties in the spa and it was wonderful. Free gin in the rooms was a nice touch, but about the only one!
L. C.
4th time at the spa and restaurant. Had an annoying issue with the spa which I spoke to the Spa Manager about who was more than happy to resolve and make up their shortfall in abundance. Phenomenal treatment (back massage and facial). The spa is small and underground but has everything you could need. Hydrotherapy pool was broken for the second time I’ve visited but it has 2 hot tubs, decent pool, 2 saunas and relaxing areas which make it more than enough for a morning or afternoon.
Please don’t miss the restaurant. The food and service is amazing and always surprises me as you just don’t except it from a hotel restaurant that have a captive audience. Go even if you’re not staying or using the spa.
N. M.
Lovely room, lovely view of construction site and wind farm, housekeeping left a lot to be desired and concierge experience very poor. Didn't try dining there,as other guests assured me the service needed addressing. All in all, a nice enough hotel let down by very poorly trained staff.
B. L.
A wonderful spa. The facilities are fantastic, and are nicely luxurious. There is plenty of space and it doesn't feel cramped at all even when there are quite a few people in it. The treatments are also really good. Highly recommended.
D. C.
Very clean, had a brief issue with internet which they resolved quickly and courteously. Lovely spa and pool
J. R.
A lovely hotel and spa. As the spa is underground, I found it very warm to start with. With no natural daylight, I would recommend a half day spa break as opposed to a full day. The changing rooms are small but the facilities are good and the staff are friendly.
b.
Great spa and service. Room was amazing too and the food. Update: we've just found out that we also made our baby here, due to be born in January. So I recommend this place to any couples wanting to start a family ☺😁
K. T.
Great hotel and spa facilities. There was one little inconvenience which Drew the manager dealt with so well and made our stay all the more enjoyable. I would definitely go again.
D. R.
Amazing location with a great sea view. Location is very near most of Brighton's best attractions. Rooms are well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Spa has lots of very relaxing options, and lots are included with the room. Great getaway.
R. M.
Only went to bar, building has been upgraded a lot from the previous bar/hotel here. Bar snacks seemed good but were pretty pricey, only tried popcorn cockles though. Meantime beer on tap didn't seem well kept, something not quite right about it...
W. M.
Room was very small, breakfast was nice, spa facilies nice too. I was very disappointed, because the price was too high to the size of the room. Literally no place to put your luggage or even walk. The only things that were in the room were night cupboards bed and closet.
S. H.
Had a drink in the bar during a conference trip. We found it quiet and fairly pricey, although the popcorn in a sea shell was a nice touch. Other than the price, the décor was good, and it was a good place for a business drink and chat with colleagues.
H. R.
Excellent hotel on right on the beach front. The rooms are small but modern and clean. Breakfast was great, a great place for a short stay in Brighton! The spa is a real hidden gem and really beautiful!
R. H.
Friendly, helpful staff, superb room and view. Excellent hotel and facilities, will stay there again, excellent
S. B.
Decor very boutique and modern with impressive rooms and comfortable beds. Same querky modem feel to restaurant. Mixed reviews from our group with food (kids meal had "smash" instead of potato but still charged £7.50 for sausage and mash). Generally friendly staff but more likely to venture out into The Lanes for a meal as the resturant is expensive.
M. A.
No AC in the room (summers have been getting warmer every year), Wifi was poor to say the least. Room was otherwise comfortable, clean. Good location and staff was friendly
A. H.
great sea view room. never thought I'd say this but really good cushions to prop up in bed. lovely bay window seat. well appointed bathroom.
really liked the spas facilities in basements. didnt have breakfast, ate in town but continental food spread looked organised and appealing. I would definitely reccomend this hotel and spa.
B. S.
This hotel is wonderful! So bright and airy with fantastic rooms! Its not too big either and has a nice spa space in the basement. Service in the bar area can be quite slow and non attentive though.
D. S. H. P.
Lovely little spa. The spa area was a little bit claustrophobic and too hot and moist in the air for my liking, but the oil and salt body scrub and the afternoon was amazing! The staff was very friendly and had a relaxing attitude.
L. C.
We booked in to our room a double small room with no view....room was nice but had a very strange smell...we never complain but went to reception and said we were going out to eat but room had a smell but had opened windows and see what it was like when we got back....straight away they said they would find another room they had none similar so got an amazing upgrade to a bigger and better room with a beautiful sea view...the original room was checked and agreed smelt funny.....staff were attentive and location was great 👍🏻
A. H.
Drinks on the house as our room wasn't quite ready. Wonderful sea view and staff friendly and helpful. This was our third visit and very happy with our choice.
J. B.
Best hotel I've stayed in for a while. Staff friendly, room size amazing, bathroom well was bigger than the room. 2x decanters of complimentary gin & sherry. Breakfast amazing. 5/5 recommended

Dazed and confused!
I can see the nautical concept that inspired this creation and why it originally would have been hailed as something commendable by the Times travel some time ago.
Check in, the staff were friendly and very helpful tho it seemed there was a problem with one computer so it took a long time. The room was almost ludicrous with the placement and styling though furniture that either doesn't work or is chosen for look over practical functionality and out of proportion for example a lounge area with furniture that only allows views of the sky not the pier or the sea seems ridiculous. Also the placement and function of light switches example the bathroom one being behind the door when you accessed it, and once inside, the toilet so close to the wall and the basin it was virtually impossible to sit on it let alone use the toilet roll.
Finally the the spa downstairs was riddled with black mould which is definitely a health hazard for both staff and clientele.
Would I return? That would be a definite no.

Beautiful hotel smartly designed with helpful friendly staff. Some difficulty with the Wifi at points and the room phone is not connected to a line so cannot call reception or outside line. The spa is great and so is the bar.
K. B.
Great hotel, great location, right next to town not far from Brighton Pier. The Spa facilities will surprise you if you’ve never been here before. A manageable gym, very good swimming pool, with 3 jacuzzi’s steam & sauna. Well worth the money if you want a nice get away for 2!
A. S.
Beautiful room. Amazing and friendly staff. Brilliant facilities and delicious food. Biggest bed ever!! Definately will be returning and telling others to visit!
j. a.
Highly recommended * Excellent service friendly staff. perfect clean room, spa very clean, will definitely come again soon. Best hotel in Brighton :) xx
R. H.
Great coming back here again , amazing stay , can’t fault a thing , staff are so lovely and kind. The full sea view room is incredible as was the spa and everything else . 100% will be back for a third time.
S. M.
Issue with booking was sorted quickly and impressively. Room was small but well presented and perfectly adequate for my needs. Bar area was very smart and had a nice vibe. All in all, very pleased.
C. R.
The spa was lovely but I have to say the staff in front of house were excellent especially the front bar area where they were super friendly and welcoming. The cocktails were delicious 10 /10
E. T.
They have recently refurbished the interior of the hotel, and it has paid off. The venue room is spacious, and classically beautiful. The bar and break out area is big enough for guests to socialise in.
I. T.
Love the spa here. Rooms come with complimentary sherry and gin. Clean, welcoming and situated opposite the seafront. Endearing to return to at the end of the day, what more could you ask for?
J. S.
Absolutely fab-u - lous !!!!!! Cudnt fault the whole afternoon and yummy afternoon tea . The spa is fantastic but shame the hydro pool was faulty so closed . The only strange thing was no confirmation of payment over the phone after booking spa and afternoon tea which got confusing at the bar later after enjoying our tea . No communication between the spa and hotel
K. P.
Just back from a weekend away staying at this hotel was a fantastic weekend the staff friendly & couldn't do anymore to make your stay enjoyable the facilities, spa pool etc well looked after & maintained & the room was lovely with a great sea view...Food was also amazing would definitely recommend
B. D.
Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay. Great location, comfy bed and the spa is excellent. Will definitely come again!!
J. B.
Lovely room with huge bed and great walk in shower. Great Spa and v friendly staff. On seafront ideally placed for the Lanes and other attractions.
N. W.
Gorgeous room, lovely staff, beautiful spa and my favourite was the restaurant! I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Brighton or for a spa getaway.
D. F.
Got to be the best place for cocktails you might have to wait a little while but we'll worth the wait the place is spotlessly clean and staff are so polite
C. E.
Such a gorgeous hotel. Friendly helpful staff and excellent spa, reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommend.
C. V.
Very clean and spacious room. The staff were very friendly. The spa is worth visiting, many different activities you can do
M. G.
Nice hotel. Rather noisy overnight due to wedding reception just underneath us, but as we are here for on son's wedding on day two, can't really complain;-)
K. M.
Spa is really lovely, clean, not too busy, good facilities. Bit expensive for day pass. Staff a bit strange, reluctant to give locker keys made us share between three which was weird.
S. H.
Beautiful hotel and friendly professional staff. Great cocktail bar.
Avoid staying on 5th Floor as the water pressure is appalling and actually stopped mid shower
O. T.
Had a great stay here, room was spacious and luxurious and staff were friendly. Did, however, have some noise from the neighbouring nightclub.
C. P.
Staff very helpful and friendly - very trendy- breakfast amazing- spa facilities a must - room very clean but shower leaked- room really warm and bed comfy - full body massage amazing ' location perfect - must try the 360I can see the whole city and the Isle of Wight on a clear day
S. H.
Amazing hotel. Large spacious rooms, friendly staff and brilliant breakfast and meals. Complimentary gin and sherry in the room too.
D. S.
Awesome rooms, amazing staff, not to far the best parts of Brighton. I really can't reccomend these guys highly enough! Will definitely be staying here again!
S. W.
First time we went it disappointed but the hotel asked for a second chance and we revisited and we are so glad we did. Rooms were great! Service was fantastic and we were spoilt rotten - definitely recommend
O. H.
A midweek stay. We stayed on the top floor overlooking the sea. Room and hotel are clean and to a very good standard. Breakfast was good. Location is fantastic.
S. M.
Fabulous stay loved my room great view amazingly comfortable bed complimentary gin in room ... fabulous spa don't forget your swimsuit you ll regret it ...... cocktails were top notch and good quality restaurant The best hotel in Brighton
S. J.
Very expensive seafood based meals so I ate out. The noise from outside hotel room was loud in early hours during my 2 night stay due to late night revellers disturbing my sleep
W. K.
The room and breakfast were nice, the location by the beach is great. WiFi didn't work in my room because of poor signal strength, so take that into account if you plan on working.
G. P.
Great hotel, was coming here before the refurbishment and they have done wonders. Rooms are well designed and spacious - restaurant and bar also a winner.
B. H.
Good funky boutique hotel. Great bar and restaurant. Right on promenade. No air con so rooms warm in hot weather. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms.
J. S.
The most amazing hotel I have stayed in I can't fault any if it , the spa is to die for the grotto is beautiful... will defo be coming back great location beach on your door step...x
D. R.
Great location and very good spa facilities. Corner bed rooms allows you to relax and enjoy the sun setting.
O. A.
Great location (brilliant view of the sea), nice enough room (though I think we got lucky there as I've heard they can vary quite severely. Lots of tiny niggling things happened during our stay- the loo randomly went on the fritz, the internet stopped working on the 2nd day (confirmed problem, not us) and the breakfast was average at best, with the waiter bringing the wrong order to two of us. Also there is a lot of noise all the time as they are right on the seafront- luckily I had earplugs. Nothing wrong with this hotel- plenty of good bits, but maybe you can get a better experience for the money. Reception staff very friendly and helpful
T. H.
Fabulous...amazing spa, amazing sea views...not 1 complaint
J. H.

I. W.
So hot in room with just a little fan , staff brilliant and friendly, breakfast fantastic
A. C.
Not the worst hotel by far, when the lift is working it makes life mush easier as the stairs are a hard work with luggage, polite and helpful staff and a nice restaurant.
R. B.
Nice room and bed but room far far too hot with no air con and a window that barely opens. The hotel provided a fan but the heat was unbearable.
d. h.
