The room was quite small, there was no place to store clothes during longer stay. There was no restaurant available when we were there. If you are there over the week end, expect extra noise from functions.
The function room was good, we attended a wee celebration there. Staff were good and drink was good as well.

I am so impressed with this hotel.
Checking in was easy and greeted by lovely, friendly, informative staff. The place has been refurbished and very tastefully done. Lovely outside area with cushions and fleece blankets which weren’t needed due to the heatwave. The bed and pillows were so comfy. The shower has a deluge head and a spray head. Plenty of instant hot water. Tea, coffee and milk and of course a kettle. Two bottles. Of water gratis. Lots of chocolate available which is chargeable. No fridge but room service available for drink. The bar is lovely to sit in.
Car park gets busy as some further improvements to the hotel at the front but never had a problem parking. The train station , Williamwood, is just along the road
Generally all staff are knowledgable and so helpful
Overall loved our stay

The staff were very helpful and cheerful, the food was excellent, so much so that we are dinner there on both of our nights stay. Since the refurb it is very prestigious. Good all round. Will stay again.

Completely refurbished hotel from top to bottom, inside and out. They have done an excellent job. Bar is friendly and cosy. Lacks any real ales but ok. Restaurant is good with novel choices at fair prices. Worth a try

We visited the Redhurst for a coffee. The place has been refurbished (looks very nice). The outdoor seating is beautifully arranged. Definitely worth a visit. Betty

Stayed overnight on a Saturday, family visit. Back at hotel 2330 very loud music from bar/function room. Still going midnight, difficult sleeping. Complaints dismissed by staff as they have weekend functions and we were unaware as didn't book direct.

We came here to the function room for a post funeral meal. It was my first visit to this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the public areas of a hotel in this location. Parking at the venue a bit restricted due to the fairly small carpark but parking in nearby streets is unrestricted. Modern clean washrooms. Friendly helpful staff. The purvey was excellent with a good range of sandwiches and hot snacks including some first class sausage rolls. A good venue for events.
