Highly recommend the Hilton Leicester.
Myself and my son stayed for his 10th birthday and also visited the national space centre which was only about a 15 minutes drive away.
The swimming pool was brilliant and a huge hit with my son.
The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a huge selection.
We ordered room service for our evening meal which was lovely.
Our room was very spacious and clean and comfortable.
All staff were friendly.

From arrival through to departure all the employees were friendly and efficient. Room was spacious. Hotel was not busy and there was plenty of space in all areas, which from a covid-safety perspective left me feeling safe. Unfortunately some guests clearly thought themselves outside of the requirement to wear face masks, and were not challenged about it, but that is a wider issue and not specific to the hotel. Bar area was decent. There is no walkable restaurant option off-site, but unusually for a hotel restaurant, the food was excellent. One of the best Hiltons I have stayed in and would have no hesitation recommending it.

Good Venue, Great Location. Everything is Getting a little tired. Otherwise would have been 5 star.
Toilets in the mtg room wing could do with a lot of TLC, they stunk.

Great stay at the hotel, the staff were excellent. I’d rang ahead and they’d arranged for two rooms next to one another on the ground floor, close to reception as my mum finds it difficult to walk too far.
Each hotel room was £78/night excluding breakfast at £12, which wasn’t too bad.
Had breakfast one day and there was a good choice of continental and cooked items. I would have preferred to have had a fresh decaf coffee (not instant) but that wasn’t available so had to have a hot chocolate; this caused us to go to a local Costa coffee in the evenings rather than staying in the hotel.
The bathroom looked a bit tired and the bath was very narrow, so could do with a refresh. The room was clean.
On the first night, I had an issue with noisy music keeping me awake coming from a party being held in a function room. I complained and they moved me without hesitation and kept me close to my mum’s room.
We were going to a wedding and mum had nowhere to makeup with a mirror, the next day we spoke to reception and they told us that the mirror was in the desk with a hairdryer, this was not at all obvious! Mum tried it the next day but as she’s not that tall, and the mirror was tilted back, she was unable to use it.
The tea/coffee facilities were stored in a draw under the tv cabinet. The kettle lead was really short, meaning the kettle could only be placed directly next to the tv or on the floor, both of these options seemed very dangerous!
Other than that, the stay was great, as were the staff.

Our stay didn't start great was kept awake with noisy children running around the corridors and slamming doors till 1am! When we spoke to reception they upgraded us for the last night and gave completely breakfast. The staff were brilliant, the lesuire facilities were also very good, the rooms however are looking dated and tired and need a thorough clean!
T. N.
Attended a wedding had a beautiful room and James in Reception went out of his way to help.
The staff all around this hotel are polite and helpful would definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Very limited bar for people who don't drink alcohol, lemonade served out of a bottle, expected more from Hilton.
Evening meals and breakfast were good.
Bathroom was extremely dated however room was fine.
Leasure facilities were very good.
Parking was really expensive, we parked there from around 5pm Sunday until around 10am the next morning and it cost over £25.
D. B.
Hotel is very dated but clean...needs refurbishment as everything bit worn..staff are gr8...food ok nothing special and bit limited choice..
C. E.
Went here yesterday Sunday 19th December for a charity meal and fund raiser event. The meal was scheduled for 1pm but they didn't start serving until about 1.45pm. The meal was hot but only ok. The parsnips were virtually raw and the roasties well under done. Great afternoon though with many friends

Stayed at this hotel a few times. You always know what you get when you stay at a Hilton. What I didn't expect is the price rises!!! £15 a night for WiFi 😳 plus their room service prices have gone up 30% since we were last here.
Rooms are always large and clean. Due to covid they don't make up the rooms anymore.
Staff are always welcoming and friendly! Staff get 5 star review!!
R. R.
Not what you would expect from a Hilton. No bottle of water unless you are silver or gold member. You can hear people from above if you are in the ground floor (Make sure you ask for a 2nd floor room) otherwise you'll hear steps and lots of noise. The need updating hotel property to meet the changing need of market as it looks like it hasn't had one for the last 20-30 years.
M. K.
Stayed here with the family for three nights last weekend. The rooms were a decent size, clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. A small fridge in the rooms would be really useful especially if you have children with you. A good selection for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gym, pool and sauna were a welcome bonus. Lots of carparking and and the cost is reasonable. And it's very close to the Fosse shopping centre.
L. C.
Professional and friendly reception staff. Room was clean but quite dated compared to other cheaper hotels nearby. Bed was quite firm but generally comfortable.
C. S.
I’m pretty impressed, yes the rooms are old fashioned. But they’re spotless and very comfortable.
One negative is that the food is pretty slow, however it tasted good.
R.
Felt very welcome from the first step into the hotel. All staff friendly and happy to help. All areas were clean and felt Covid safe. Bedroom very comfortable.
J. W.
Ok - tired hotel , bit overpriced. Charging for parking is a joke given its location. As is "complimentary wifi because I'm an honors member". This is 2021 - even the local chippy has free wifi.
M. H.
We had a fantastic overnight stay here as part of a Stay play & explore deal. All staff were extremely friendly & accomodating. The breakfast was amazing with a fantastic choice of food & drinks.
K. G.
We stayed here for 3 nights and it was fantastic. We booked the deluxe queen room and it was outstanding. All the staff are very attentive especially Becky who checked us in and made us feel very welcome and made sure all our needs were met. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Good staff barmen and managers fantastic happy and helpful
Food great rooms good standard and comfortable

Typical Hilton ! Lovely hotel with gym and pool. Great bar area , but just an average breakfast.
s. l.
Ok but rooms need a re vamp new carpets needed breakfast was ok but could have been better .
K. T.
Overall I enjoyed my stay. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming
P. M.
Evening carvery consisted of 1 choice of meat, all the veg were so cold that we took our meals back while they heated the same veg up.. terrible service.. most disappointed.
A. P.
Nice and clean place to stay or hold a function. There is ANPR when entering so remember to enter your car registration
S. G.
Really nice hotel and the staff were brilliant. Well worth a stay
R. M. P.
One of my favourite Hiltons.
Great location just off the M1 and cheap overnight parking compared to many.
Friendly staff and a nice cafe

Edit:
Stayed there again over the weekend.
Some bullet points from my recent stay.
1. Great cleanliness, well done.
2. Customer service still very good.
3. Well maintained facilities e.i gym area, swimming pool
4. Rooms in need of refurbishment, not 4 star hotel quality
5. Stayed in room 183. Bed still horrible, squeaky. On one side can't even open drawers on the bedstead as per my picture
6. Tiny electric storage heater is not efficient, no capable of keeping room of this size warm
7. Can hear a lot of noises coming from various sources, e.i had kid screaming and crying throughout the night above our room, every time someone walks through corridor old fashion spring doors make extremely loud bang noise
8. Nice breakfast, good selection
Five stars for staff but anything else is a let down, not what would you expect from such well established brand. Rooms and hotel needs urgent, major upgrade / refurbishment, bed was just horrible, making squeaky noises with every move.
Easy access from M1, decent size car park but you have to pay for it separately, it was £6 a night at a time when we stayed.
P. M.
We only stayed for one night, the hotel was clean and the best thing is that you can use the swimming pool in the Gym next door.
Keep in mind that you have to pay for parking, 6 pounds per night.
N. P.
Great rooms, big space, sofa, two big double beds, but bath is dinky. Hotel needs a face lift
W. G.
Hotel bathrooms needs updating but beds were really comfy and rooms clean. The reception staff was amazing helping us print some documents. Cleaning lady was friendly and efficient and so where the catering staff for breakfast. The bar staff need to seriously cheer up. Also apparently there was no bottle opener in the entire hotel. Ensure you check the ludicrous rules when going swimming or prepare for disappointment.
D. L.
Lobby is beautiful, room was good. All very clean and heating turned on ready for our arrival. Had a cute reindeer towel origami and chocolates on the bed, bathroom was functional but a little outdated. Liked being able to check in via the app and choose a room. Unfortunately due to the pandemic no restaurant or breakfast but a limited room service menu and drinks. Staff helpful and welcoming. Not an issue for winter but no air conditioning, fan was provided but no plug sockets near the bed (one usb port). Would recomend and go back again. £6 charge for car park, payable on check out.

First class Hotel great place to stay relax
C. B.
Lovely hotel out of the city centre so nice and quiet. Great looking central garden that I bet is lovely in the summer (I'm sure it is in the winter if you happen to get a sunny day that's slightly warm!) They have a great heated pool and hot tub/jacuzzi, 2 sauna rooms and shower facilities as expected. The room was great, we booked a queen room and we're sure it was a double bed not a queen size... that's the only 'bad' thing I have to say about this wonderful hotel. The rates are cheap when booked in advance and it's well worth the price.
N. A.
Great hotel, nice staff
P. 6.
The bed was extremely comfy and I had a great night sleep. the breakfast was filling and tasty and the staff were lovely. The dinner was delicious and we enjoyed it. The only problem which I encountered was that my son was unable to enjoy a swim as you need to be 16 to swim on your own. Overall it was fantastic value for money and we will return.
P. F.
Great room in a nice but slightly dated hotel.
b. m.
Overall a decent place to stay. Good gym with pool, sauna and steam room. Rooms are nicely laid out. Food in the restaurant it's well presented. 2nd visit, the window in my room didn't lock properly but a different room was quickly found. I am likely to return.
R. M.
Attended a civil wedding ceremony and an Asian engagement just after the third lockdown. Lovely event and staff were able to cater to pretty much all needs while still working covid restraints.
M. W.
A nothing special hotel. The rooms are adequate, but indeed of basic maintenance and updating. The pillows are ridiculously soft and offer no neck & head support. The evening meal was expensive with a very limited menu. Watercress isn't a good vegetable to go with pie and mash. The staff are attentive and they hold the hotel reputation together. Save your money and get a better deal. £6 to stay in their car park. Premier Inn don't charge that !
M. Z.
The gym is quite good, with water facilities
D. D.
The first thing I noticed was the receptionist, first class service, very helpful and very friendly, a pleasure to have met. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our stay was very pleasant and everywhere was spotless.
Without a doubt we would come again.
P. T.
The public areas in this hotel are very well maintained and spacious.
We used the restaurant and the food was tasty and well roasted with very professional waiting staff.
The conference facilities were equally good. Professionally equipped and with continuous resupply of water and hot drinks.
The rooms however were very dated. When you see a soap dish built into the wall you know its been the 80s since the bathroom was last touched.
A good experience overall.
M. A. B. T.
Easy check in and check out process. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly bar staff. Nice breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that car parking is charged £6 per night - should be free for all guests.
J. T.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a family room (2 adults and 2 young children) and it was lovely, really comfy beds and loads of space. The food was excellent and the staff really accomodating. We used the pool which was very clean and again the staff were great. Certainly recommend staying here.
T. I.
Our room was nice and spacious and all the staff I came into contact with were friendly and helpful.
I had afternoon tea there, which could have been better. The service for it was slow. We were served tea and it was about another 30 minutes for the sandwiches and cake to come out.
I've previously worked in the hospitality industry and I moved much quicker than this. The delay was from the kitchen and not the serving staff.
I would also suggest letting the customer know the selection of sandwiches so they can make substitutions, by having more of a preferred type. Most of the sandwiches weren't eaten by us.
The spa area could do with an uplift. Having non waterproof cushions on the recliners isn't the best idea either.
The range of equipment in the gym is good. From CV machines to the free weights.
G. R.
I didn't pay a large amount for our room with two queen sized beds and the room was massive (EST. 35+ square metres). Nice grounds and the pool / gym facilities were much better than I expected. The front desk staff member with whom I dealt was extremely professional and multilingual. Breakfast was OK but a bit zoo-like as there had been a wedding and there were lots of families with v young children. I brought my own but they are nearly teenagers. I may slightly have overrated the hotel due to a dire experience at a Holiday Inn, also with a pool, we had several days earlier. I keep saying" never again' with Holiday Inn, especially the Express version but never learn it seems.
T. K.
Disappointed. Breakfast good .Reception good other staff slow
S. H.
we felt very special staying at the Hilton hotel in Leicester. The service was outstanding and staff could not help enough. Swimming pool was great for all the family and very clean. The room was spacious for a family and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was incredible and had a very wide choice of food. I can't wait to stop again.
K. P.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed,tasty breakfast
R. K.
Tired rooms, didn’t smell too nice. Housekeeping left hair in the drop drawer of the cabinet in my room.
Coffee, both at breakfast and in the cafe were just okay. However the food served at breakfast was very nice, both the quantity and quality.
I’ve stayed at the Marriott which is not too far from the Hilton. The Marriot is better.
C. A.
The staff were very accommodating in understanding and dealing with inconveniences even before arrival and made efforts to accommodate me & my partner amidst discrepancies with arrival date/times. The team were very professional and explained everything clearly to us upon arrival. We were given access to beautiful facilities of gym and sauna (which unfortunately we were unable to use so please bare in mind this review is void of the quality of these facilities/services). The room was clean, spacious with a lovely shower /bath. We also ate from the breakfast buffet which was of great quality and variety! The food was as good as the service we received from staff from start to the end of our stay. Would return in a heart beat!
S. B.
Had a great stay with my husband and our 2 girls. Food was excellent both at our evening meal and breakfast. Staff were brilliant and leisure facilities were spotless. Will definitely be staying again. £6 to park overnight.
C.
This hotel is good overall. The room was large and had a huge TV. There is internet which you have to pay for (or I think you can join a member's club) the room was very hot and there was no air conditioning which was a shame (I visited in the height of winter). There are a lot of busy roads nearby which can cause some noise but our room wasn't too bad, the only cars I could hear with the window closed were sports cars. However if the window was open it would be very loud.
The rooms were somewhat dated but nothing too bad
The buffet breakfast was really nice with lots of choice. There were great poached eggs and also some vegitarian options such as veggie sausages.
Staff were friendly enough although nobody stood out as giving 'great' service.
Remember if you book here parking is £6 a night which I didn't realise when I booked.
I would go back here for a stopover and there were no real issues so 4* from me.
A. W.
Service is excellent by all staff especially the breakfast team. Rooms were a little dusty but otherwise clean. Shame about the lack of vegan options, their menu only showed vegetarian symbols so they staff had to keep checking with the chef. Find this strange as plant based is such a movement right now. Hilton needs to catch up !
S. B.
I was impressed by the hotel and the staff. The breakfast was amazing, with the waffle maker thrilling my young son. He was also pleased with the double bed all to himself. Very clean, and the pool and health club are a bonus. A gem of a find. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
J. R.
Easy to find, plenty of parking and a very clean hotel with friendly helpful staff.
The room on the ground floor was huge and had everything I needed and free wi fi, hospitality tray and a huge TV.
Food was good value and presented well , I had the fish which tasted very fresh and a good portion , breakfast was a mixture of cooked and continental choices.
I would recommend this hotel and I certainly would stay over again, just a shame I didn't have time to use the swimming pool and gym.
K. H.
The experience was very good with excellent customer service especially Klaudia in reception and breakfast especially chef Saeed. On check in they gave us some nice children colouring packs which my children really loved. Beds were really comfortable and they gave us extra firm pillows when we asked.
The standard family rooms were are excellent sized but in need of refurbishment and there was a musty smell in the corridor for the standard rooms.
We needed an extra duvet because it was cold but they only provided a duvet without a cover which isn't the standard I would have expected from Hilton. LivingWell fitness centre and swimming pool were great. Good location.
M. S.
Stayed one night on a busy bank holiday weekend. On arrival we were concerned that parking at the hotel was going to cost a further £15, but there was no alternative. Our 3 bed room was clean and tidy but we found a drawer full of the previous guests clothing. After informing the hotel, we were given drinks vouchers as an apology. We went for a swim to be informed that they operate specific time slots. Reception did not tell us of this arrangement, nor did the information leaflet in the room. The staff at the pool were left to cope with irritated hotel guests unable to go swimming. On the plus side the food served at the restaurant was excellent, although expensive. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also excellent with a substantial buffet on offer including, surprisingly, haggis, a personal favourite for breakfast. We were glad of going for breakfast reasonably early as there was a queue for tables as we left. On checkout we informed the reception of our experience and the kindly waived the £6 car parking fee. On the whole an average hotel, but the staff and services made up for our stay's disappointments.
f. m.
An amazing experience with such helpful and professional staff all round. Thank you to Tim from food and beverage for a consistently warm, welcoming and wonderful service and to Saeed the Chef for making every experience personalised and making the children feel welcome. The Hotel manager was likewise very attentive and quick to resolve every issue.
H. M.
Very good high standard hotel with good insulation between rooms and black-out curtains. Beds and pillows comfortable. Staff professional and courteous. Restaurant food was excellent. Lose 1 star because shower in room is old and under-powered, needs updating to power-shower. Also charges for car park for hotel guests.
N. D.
Another fine stay at Hilton Leicester.
Yes the rooms and decor definitely require an update for sure. The changing rooms in the Leisure centre do require a bit more attention to facilitate a fresh environment.
But to compensate, the management team make all the difference and make sure that guests are being looked after.
Breakfast was well controlled, as was the leisure facility.
Special mention to the following team members for really going all out and making the necessary difference at these strange times:
Front desk team -
Emma.
Ebitta.
Chelsea.
Leisure team -
Nichola.
Luca.
Jess.
Courage.
Breakfast team -
Tej and the lovely lady who looked after us ensuring we were fully fit for purpose on every breakfast.
Many thanks guys.

Parking is not free even if staying there and is £6 for our nights stay. Heating not easy to adjust and room was hot but spacious. One bed side lamp was not working but let reception know who were willing to change but advised them to ignore (as only staying 1 night). Breakfast was buffet style and ok. Not expected all above from Hilton standards.
A. H.
Stayed for two nights with the family on the 'Stay, Play and Explore' package. Excellent customer service at reception where the staff kindly transferred us from a family room to two adjoining rooms which delighted the kids. The staff were brilliant with the children and that is priceless in my book. Excellent leisure facilities and a very generous breakfast menu. Location is ideal for exploring wider county with it being just off the motorway. Would highly recommend.
S.
The rooms are different sizes and it seems comfortable.
Foods are really not good enough to choose.
Service is little bit ok, but not possibly up to mark of hotel rank.
If anything is near then this place can be workable.
If not, the recommendation goes to the Leicester city area.
Hope if you experienced then you'll agree with me.

Went for the Afternoon Tea here on a Friday afternoon. The hotel itself doesn’t quite give me the “Hilton” feel maybe it’s time due for an update.
The food itself was okay nothing special but cakes are nice, very moist, specially the chocolate cake and the carrot cake. Maybe that’s why we only have a slice each :(
I didn’t like scones with raisins which they didn’t give us a choice, but 2 raisin scones... I was surprised and happy they gave us a massive pot of clotted cream, was over the moon until I tasted it... it’s more like fatty oily butter taste rather than creamy fresh clotted cream. I had to give up after couple of bites. My hubby didn’t feel well after that oily thing, which was a shame it ruined the afternoon tea for us.
There is an outdoors sitting area with a pond, could go out for a little walk.
Overall it was a pleasant experience which my son really enjoyed but I don’t think we will be back again very soon.
P. M.
Nice Hotel by Hilton with a good package for family with attractions. Close to the motorway with easy access to many surrounding facilities.
A very good Breakfast service that fills up the tourist full of energy after a very calm and relaxing night. We thoroughly enjoyed the family room and it's space and it's extremely rare to find such rooms in Hotels such as Hilton.
Keep up the good service 👌👍
T. M.
Every staff member seemed happy to help and I felt well looked after the entire stay. Every part of the hotel was extremely clean. Only use as convenient location for work. Recommend you book a breakfast inclusive rate as its great value for a family. Makes for a nice relaxing experience for all.
J. S.
Good hotel, very clean. Good size room. Bathroom is a bit dated and there is a £6 per night charge on the car park. Food is good I had one of the burgers and it was very hot when it arrived. The desserts are 10/10

As a long time member of the Hilton Honours scheme, I tend to really enjoy staying at the Hilton Hotel. The Leicester one is not bad at all, it is actually very cheap, but you can still see that they tried to maintain a pretty decent standard in terms of their rooms and decor. This one has a swimming pool and a gym, which is pretty cool. The parking is useful but not free. It costs £6 a day to park at the hotel and they charge it to your room when you checkout. It is worth paying the additional parking fee. The breakfast served is also good. Overall, I recommend this hotel based on the fact it is good value for money, while maintaining the Hilton standards. Given its location, I'd only recommend you stay here if you have access to a car.
M. K.
Had a great time, good breakfast and dinner. Facilities are great. Nice swiming pool, hot tub, and steam room. Staff are very nice, special Amy who was excellent and sortout our expectation at the dinner. Thank you Chelse front office staff member who kindly checked us in and follow us up.
C. T.
A travellers hotel just off the motorway. Not up to usual Hilton standard, the bedroom and bathroom were rather "tired" and the whole hotel needs some freshening up. Convenient for motorway although situated in a rather tricky spot to find. Restaurant was fine and very good breakfast.
Y. F.
Pretty average hotel, the service was fine. The room didn't really have a user friendly layout and the bed on wheels, well it's moves, surprise surprise.
It did seem pretty busy during my stay, it was just too noisy for me and I didn't really rest up properly. I could hear the telly next door and definitely not just that., Being on the ground floor meant I could hear people stomping around upstairs. I had to put up with late night revellers until about 2 AM and for some odd reason they always shout and feel the need to put the world to right without considering there might be people trying to sleep and no reprieve in the morning with kids screaming down the corridor.
I think I left more tired than I arrived and I arrived late.
F. C.
No real relection on the hotel but unfortunately they had a family in that were making no end of noise so sleep was less than wonderful. Then at breakfast the coffee was Luke warm at best the sort of temperature ud want in a hurry. When I mentioned it I was told "that's just how it is" . Give them there due Becky and Dean where wonderful at trying to sort it all out I really can't fault them. I little polishing and getting the staff to work together and this hotel could be amazing. I wouldn't let it put me off but a bit of a polish is needed
A. B.
The room was fantastic, bed very comfy and the buffet breakfast was great. Lovely facilities, the sauna and steam room were great. Most staff were friendly and helpful, we had to change rooms as the first bathroom wasn't very clean, but they handled it very well and the second room was spotless. I'd stay here again.
R. S.
We stayed in between Christmas and New Years as an overnight break with the kids and we thoroughly enjoyed...2 double beds and spacious room with complimentary water, mini bottles of wine and jelly beans were a great touch. On top of that we were texted each day by the onsite team to check how our stay was - never had that anywhere before! We also had the dinner and breakfast which was amazing value for our package. Will be looking again in December 2020 for another break
M. O.
The furniture and decoration of the family room was odd, the bathroom was not cleaned properly (bath tub had a very significant amount of hair) but staff promptly cleaned it as soon as it was reported. Staff was friendly, pool has fine.
K. B.
Big rooms, though some updates required, especially in the bathroom (black grouting in places). Ample toiletries, big, thick fluffy towels and slippers provided. Hot chocolate in room, as well as a good selection of teas and coffees. The breakfast is fabulous! A vast selection of cereals, yoghurts, seeds, fruits, juices and cooked items plus an omelette station! Parking on site at a charge (£6). swimming pool available: one adult supervising per child. Friendly staff. Great for families. Stayed for one night, 19th October.
L. A.
Nice enough. I did expect more for a Hilton but it was clean and presentable. The staff were very helpful though. We ordered a taxi to take us into town and when it didn't arrive the receptionist chased it up until we were safely on our way.
T. M.
We have stayed at this hotel twice now and it is certainly very nice. Staff are very friendly and eager to please. Room was very clean. We visited reception the next day who were exceptional and moved us without question to a quiet room in the new section. Breakfast next morning was very sufficient.
M. “. S.
Very much enjoyed by family on a quick overnight stay. Excellent Pool, Gym and the room was Superior. Great value too. Excellent food. Always liked Hiltons and it was very much up to scratch!
S. R.
The Good...
Bed and pillows are very comfortable great sleep
Excellent modern free WiFi with high speeds of 50mb/s download and upload everywhere Inside. Use promotion code Summer19 to connect
We Got interconnecting room for 2 adult and 3 kid free upgrade which was great and one of the biggest bonus which will make me return here
Breakfast options good and reasonable.
£4.50 kids meal fish and chips or pizza is very good
Swimming pool is large size but can get busy between 3-15people I've seen.
Sauna and steam room great
Hot tub jacuzzi with bubbles
Gym is great size and good facilities
3for10 pizza within delivery distance (3 12" pizzas for £10)
Hot towels ready for swimming always
Changing rooms showers always have shampoo dispenser which actually works!
Bedroom water flow pressure very high even for hot water. And hot water comes nearly instantly always.
Great size TV with only free view channels
The Bad...
Reception doesn't answer the phone 70% of the time. Ironically room service for food orders always answer promptly.
Service issues: I Reported several issues /request to housekeeping and maintenance and initially took longer than expected to get resolved - the toilet seat was broken and didn't get response until 3rd call and 2 days later was fixed. Also the sink was completely blocked and just needed a plunger stil nobody came until 2 days, the spotlight next to the bed was broken and electric wires visible nobody came, the coffee table top glass keeps sliding off and wobbling with my young kids around nobody cared again no response and in the end we gave up complaining about this and just put it in the corner, we asked for 2 extra pillows and never got it. Asked for extra clothes hangers didn't get. Also desk lamp for night light didn't get after asking nearly 5 times.
The Area - nothing around for 3miles so you can't really deliver food to the hotel easily and limited options.
Room fridges do not come as standard but can be requested... Although the fridge is a vonshef brand which is quite noisy at night.
Views from "inner facing rooms" boring and clostrophobic overlooking small courtyard and opposite rooms but probably quieter then the outer facing rooms which overlook car park and a roads.
Swimming pool open from 6am - 10.30pm and kids swim ends at 7.30pm.
£6 night car park fee quite extortionate bu at least free for stay play explore customers!
Not much outdoor space for visitors on site, lousy small back garden with awful seating options... should have some deck chairs for laying down in the sun
Front of hotel nice garden area has no seating places for families to relax - Al around bad use of outdoor areas and you find yourself indoor mostly.
Swimming pool/gym/sauna is shared with external health club company "living well" and there seems to be some friction between hotel guests and gym members.
Swimming pool have 45min limit for family swims
Adult dinner portion size not very filling at all and big let down
No aircon in the rooms just a electric heater on the wall and a portable air fan for the summer which obviously means it's noisy at night.
Dated bathroom some rooms.
Bit dated hotel furnishings all over.
Hotel layout bit annoying if you want to access pool then you have to walk all the way to reception and back round in yourself especially if your in rooms 220-280 because they lock the shortcut down stairs annoyingly.
There is no appropriate night light, everything is either too bright or complete darkness.
J. P.
Nice comfortable room. Have stayed here before for business. The food is mediocre you really expect more. Breakfast has always been good. Easy access from M1. They have started to charge £6 per night for parking which I think is a bit cheeky.

It was my first time at the Hilton and I was expecting something more. The swimming pool area is very good (45 minutes session for family) but it's enough.
In the bedroom there's no fridge so you can't keep your water and wine cold.
Upgraded for a deluxe family room and is good you can have free water, wine and treats for the kids.
Breakfast is all about the crew you find in the morning. First day I wasn't on the list so my breakfast was little bit poor. After my complain the next day was perfect.

Wonderful place to stay for a family weekend (we booked via StayPlayExplore online). Convenient location by the motorway to get to local attractions. Lovely room, good swimming pool & gym. We all loved the breakfast which inluded haggis on the cooked buffet and amazing American waffles - so light and fluffy. Staff service was excellent too.

In the past I attended here twice for a conference because I became a bronze Avon member which included because of my selling experience going around peoples doors of a high amount I attended conference meals with my manager Debbie Munton
Who lived in blaby we had 10 people to a table and had a fine dining meal having been all picked up by coach here to take us all to the venue all Avon representatives together.
This was my part time job as well as the full time job that I had in the day to I worked really hard to save money up for a future and I did it independent and alone as my own manager in quite a few areas of my life I am actual quite multi skilled at quite a lot of things some at a high level of politics medical and I have run singles nights with over 80 people in attendance to in the city centre of Leicester for many weekends as a manager of this job
To add to this I have also been a manager of running a car boot stall on the markets in Leicester getting up at 4.30am for years in the morning a woman and a few others came to my stalls and said out loud “very professional “yes I was (while others in a borough stayed in bed in drunken or drug party stupors on the weekends something that was never for me)
I’m very ambitious to something I would not want wrecking for my future by any rough past person of no importance in my life but to drag it down because I have a lot of plans and I hope people reading this understand and acknowledge this!!
I’ve done a lot of charity work as well and am an avid supporter of a lot of charity shops within any community and this has been going on for years to the present date !!
I can also sing if that helps something that is also passed down to that of myself..
I’ve also been a waitress in a restaurant and an excellent at wedding planning to...something I hope will have preference to a future business which I wish to do in the future if I am not provoked by jeolousy..of people of lower mindsets than that of myself..!!!
I am also a property redeveloper as well and have done up to a high level property’s in the past and sold them something that I wish to continue and I will continue to do this no matter what happens
Someone would describe me as “a very ambitious woman “
And yes I am independent with it to!!!
Some people can feel quite threatened by this in any community would you not agree and my words are “tough get used to it it’s who I am I’m into infrastructure and improving things it and it was even my idea of cadoxton train station something I had wrote to Alun cairns about from the very beginning it was not totally his idea and it was also my idea for the housing estate off the kirkdale road in sth wigston that another male stole the idea to by living off me”
Maybe some people need to use there own brains then maybe they would be at the same level
Living off me is like the working girl movie where is was all not the ideas of the woman who broke her leg in a skiing accident was it!!
You should watch that movie then know exactly the kind of person that I am and to some people reading with me getting this message across (back off)
It’s like at times people wanting to pin things on me when most of the time I’m being the one pushed and talked to in these community’s by phone calls even in a derogatory way !!
See the truth for gods sake !!
I even spoke with a solicitor and I said to her “when do you think people will see the truth”
She said “they will eventually “
I said “good”
Anyway I went for a job here in the hospitality industry something that I do have a passion for some of the time !! As my own manageress!!
I also went for a job that is based at a very high up place in the city of Leicester who did meals for solicitors managers and even the Queen ate there to
And I got the job but turned it down because I had a full time job and wanted a part time job to I think the place was called at that time prospects place it was on a corner opposite the new walk building that turned into a pizza place later on
Strange how nicole whitnore copied me being an Avon rep after I did it!!!

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel, I was given a decent room and the staff were very friendly. Almost all the areas of the hotel are well-maintained. Loved that the restaurant serves tasty dishes that I enjoyed a lot.
T. M.
Fine if you are in this business area or looking to be off the m1 but too remote and not for city visits. We had an email to say we could upgrade to a tranquil room, which may be overlooking garden area. Noise was minimal. Breakfast was very nice. It's good value for the deal.
M. S.
Rooms are a bit dated and the bathroom is needing replaced but the bed is comfortable, the rooms are big, and the dining and reception area is pretty excellent. Staff also very helpful. The charge for parking is a bit cheeky to be honest however even for residents.
I. J.
Good runs and very good breakfast. The service was very good and we were fortunate to get free parking. Absolutely no issues except the elevator was really far away from most of the rooms. I was here for a course, it was an excellent venue to host it.

What do you expect from a Hilton Hotel. Cleaningness, professionalism, services and a nice design. A part from the last the hotel has already these qualities. Personnel is helpful and kind, facilities are clean and breakfast is good. Room is big a part from bathroom and clean. The furniture and hotel is a bit old but prices are ok.
E. R.
A world-class hotel that delivers the most amazing friendly service, has such lovely staff, fantastic facilities and appetizing meals, in addition to the most beautiful rooms. I strongly recommend it!
Thank you to all the staff for everything! You did a superb job! Well done!
A. H.
The hotel itself is decent, Rabin at reception was excellent, answering every query, and sorting reservations and room service.
However the restaurant has very plain and boring food, nothing special unfortunately, so go out for dinner if you get the chance.
The coffee lounge is a very nice addition, it provides pretty decent coffee, at slightly exborbtant rates, so be warned.
The rooms are spacious and has a good TV, however only freeview is available, no sky unfortunately. The water pressure isn't the best, but the shower is decent.
F. M.
Good hotel, close to highway on one side and Leicester city on other. Clean rooms and enjoyable experience. Will return soon to enjoy more facilities. Indoor Pool and health club were very good. Looking forward to going back soon.
J. N.
Nice place but needs some TLC it's a bit shabby in places and doesn't measure up to the usual standard of Hilton. Late last night as we were having a cigarette outside the main reseption we saw several large rats running around the grounds and climbing into bins, very off-putting!!
S. N.
Rooms were really smart and very clean. Room service was prompt and breakfast selection was good. Was there for business and it was good enough for a leisure trip. Only negative was the wifi which is on the slow side. I've got to say this seems to be a Hilton thing. I'm a big fan of the brand but their wifi is always a little lacking.
M. L.
Staff members are lovely. Receptionist and the lady during breakfast on the 14th. The only think is there were big stains on the carpet, heather wasn't heating the room up enough also heather and carpet and shower is outdated.
K. P.
Food great, room comfy but the whole place could do with a makeover. Outside terrace has broken umbrellas laid on the floor and grass not been cut. Weeds in the patio. Staff friendly was a plus point. Blackout curtains in the room were pointless as so much light came through the door frame had to block it out with towels
G. D.
It was awesome! Great room, awesome pool, incredible restaurant and bar, epic Sana and steam. Plus there's a gym. It's really posh and well-made. It's also situated perfectly on the outskirts of Leicester by the M1. DEFINITELY would recommend!!¡!!!!...

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and great service family friendly
T. M.
We booked this hotel as part of the 'Stay, Play and Explore' deal which is a fantastic deal for a family of. The panoramic cinema and the 3D simulator ride were particularly good. As we checked in staff gave me a 'complimentary' ticket for …
S. I.
I have used this hotel a few times, well located for access to M1. Rooms are decent size with tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board and a selection of shampoo conditioner and Moisturiser. Even though you may find slight signs of wear and tear these are in the most parts acceptable. Gym and swimming pool are great, they also have a small sauna and steam room.
Breakfast is a treat with a great selection of items to satisfy everyone's taste.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
C. T.
Stayed here for a Bike Safe course that’s run from the police station down the road.
Room big and very comfortable. Bike safe parked where we could see them, right outside the window.
Breakfast was expensive (£15) so decided to go to the Sainsbury’s over the road and picked up fruit, yoghurt and milk. Ate at Pizza Hut the night before too.
Good for the price and convenience.
V. P.
Family outing, we were checked in quickly and were well informed regarding breakfast, parking and the facilities. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would be more then happy to use this hotel again in the future and has made me more likely to use the chain on the future. Thanks
S. R.
Location good for travel, handy for the M1 access. Hotel facilities good - restaurant, bar, gym, etc. Meals nice and restaurant atmosphere relaxed. Breakfast good too. Room I had was rather noisy, windows weren't particularly well insulated from the road noise outside
K. F.
Good central location for a meeting...but they cash in on this by charging quite a high rate for parking! Coupled with having to wait for ages to order refreshments (3 visits to the coffee bar before someone was there to take our order!!), perhaps there are better meeting venues in the area?
L. D.
Substandard service, I attended a Christmas charity ball for kidney patients, some if whom were there. I didn't mind paying a high price for the ticket because it was for charity but was expecting hot plated food as you would at a Hilton Hotel. We got a finger buffet consisting of things like chicken nuggets and dippers, there was not enough food or desserts for all the guests. Most disappointing of all was that they had the air conditioning blasting out cold air... in December!!!! We complained 6 times and the organiser very rudely said "well if you're cold you can go and boogie on the dancefloor, that'll warm you up" Did she not realise there were kidney patients and the elderly and those in wheelchairs who could not dance? Very disappointed, the Hilton Hotel manager would nit even step into the function room to check how cold it was and the staff were very rude especually a waiter called Adrian. The guests had their ciats on throughout the whole event.
P. T.
Spent a night with the 'Stay Play Explore' offer, I chose this hotel because it didn't give a finishing time for children swimming on the SPE website but the kids weren't allowed to swim when we arrived in the evening! Apart from the slight disappointment the hotel was clean, room was basic but a good size with 2 double beds, a basic multi plug adapter screwed to a wall in the room felt very penny pinching. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection.
P. M.
Great Location, excellent service and good food
D. D.
Good hotel for price. Nice lobby. Rooms spacious, beds comfy, no fridge and road facing rooms a little noisy. Overall, great value for money
J. P.
Staff are very accommodating. The food whether at Breakfast or Dinner has been to a high standard. Part of the breakfast buffet even has the chef making you fresh omelettes and you can make your own waffles. The Hotel it's self is a tad old and the rooms could do with a lick of paint and remodenising though.
D. H.
Lobby was well presented and the bar and cafe had a nice variation. Check in/out was smooth. The event hall we were in was functional, though furnishings were starting to show their age. Christmas meal was ok, turkey was nice but the proportion between meat and trimmings were off; not enough trimmings. The room was a good size, but sound insulation was poor as voices from the corridor carried result into the room.
J.
Great stay here on a Discover Leicester package deal with free entry to 4 tourist sites. Fab hotel - big rooms, clean and great facilities. The pool and spa area were a bonus and the coffee lounge, bar and in house resturaunt were excellent..
Would recommend.
D. R.
We didn't stay overnight but attended a works Christmas party.
The staff were very polite and helpful and the food was amazing.
Everywhere was very clean and we all had a fantastic night.
C. H.
Excellent service from reception from.Evita. My family enjoyed the stay and are well rested xx Thank you
A. B.
Convenient location. The rooms are starting to feel a bit tired, especially in the bathroom areas. There's also no air con, which is fine for most of the year but can mean having to rely on fans in hotter weather. But the beds are comfortable and there's a decent range of breakfast options.
A. I.
Good hotel but the location is ambiguous. A clearer signpost must be put on the motorway to allow visitors who come by car to easily spot the hotel. We drove at least 5 times past the small entrance but still couldn't find it! Postcode was not valid in satnav. Apart from this, hotel was great and had a pleasant stay with my family.
D. S.
Very nice, spacious rooms (we had a single room and double room) modern and clean. The breakfast was excellent the staff were cheerful and welcoming.
M. H.
Staying at the Hilton Leicester is a very mixed experience. On one hand, the hotel is tastefully decorated and bright. The staff as friendly and conscientious. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious. However, the price of food and drink in the hotel is extortionate. It is honestly unacceptable. £3.55 for a takeaway tea is a disgrace. Alcohol at the bar is also a nightmare. £8 for a cheese and onion sandwich is awful. What is worse if that there is very little else around, so they have a captive audience that they willingly exploit.
R. G.
Only been a few times and not had any problems as yet so all good
R. G.
Nice hotel, large, quiet room, friendly staff, good sized gym and pool. Just make sure you know how to get there (and how to leave the next morning!), the roads are a bit of a maze, and my SATNAV took me to the motorway next to the hotel!
S. R.
Nice hotel in a good location with very friendly staff. Very close to Fosse Park shopping and various fast food stores for let night food. I would only rate 3 stars due to: uncomfortable beds; now power in the showers; gym has all the equipment you need but needs a refresh as it’s looking a bit tired and old.
T. A.
Nice room, close to big road and shopping. Easy to get to town. You pay extra for parking. But good service nice staff and clean room. The breakfast was good and many options for different food. The pool and spa is nose with good facilities.
C. B.
Spacious and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are plentiful. Comfortable beds with different pillow options available.
The bathroom is to the point if a little dated.
If definitely return and would also recommend.
M. G.
Very friendly staff, moat definitely great value for money. The children enjoyed staying in the hotel, there favourite part was the swimming pool. A large variety of food ro choose from the self service buffet breakfast.
S. W.
Enjoyed Afternoon Tea with a Groupon voucher and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of food including a selection of sandwiches which we'd requested 'plain' as don't like mayonnaise or mustard. Four cakes and scone, jam and loads of cream. Prosecco and refill of tea and coffee. So much food and drink. Well worth it. Beth our waitress was very attentive. Highly recommend.
D. J.
Thanks to Chelsea my stay was amazing would like to say a massive thank you to her. Keep up the good work.
T. M.
Hotel is slightly dated and need make up, especially bathroom. The room started off on the ground floor next to a very noisy group of men next door clearly having an evening of alcohol. Not worth the extra £20 IMO. The hotel location is excellent and it is only 35 minutes from the NEC.
T. M.
Nice welcome, hotel is gorgeous and car-park charge was refunded after checking into hotel. Staff friendly on check in because of being part of stay play explore we were given a parking pass so could easily get in and out car park without payment. Room was a standard room.
T. M.
I'm sure quite a few guests would find this of benefit as there isn't much else within walking distance, and not everyone travels by car. At Leicester they remain customer focused and the rooms therein provide ample storage with drawers and …
A. M.
Great hotel, with very helpful and attentive staff. Assistance provide immediately when required
P. “. H.
Relatively dated Hilton, no air con in rooms. Nice touches for honours members such as goody bag in room if you don't get an upgrade. *Added a star as the staff have been awesome and it's a daily goody bag!
G. H.
Very good hotel for business. Try to avoid the rooms near the pool unless you like the smell of chlorinated water. Some rooms can be a little trek from the nearest exit so compulsive smokers will have to enquire at reception for a room near an exterior door or suffer the long walk back and forth to their room. I found the housekeeping staff very helpful.
I. S.
For a Hilton hotel it wasn’t what I expected. The comfort of the bed wasn’t great and the bathroom felt very out of date. However, the room was clean and the staff were very polite and happy to help.
J. H.
Fabulous weekend at the Leicester Hilton. Good night sleep in comfortable beds. The breakfast was good, nice to see poached eggs on a buffet. The gym was well equipped with lots of "Precor" equipment, moreover it is spotlessly clean. The only down side is having to pay for parking (£5 a night) when you are staying at the hotel. All in all I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
J. A.
Very dated hotel. Stained carpets. Poor shower fittings. Charge premium for sub standard place. However, breakfast is good and staff is very helpful.
J. L.
Stay here regularly when visiting family in the area and always get a good, clean, comfortable and quiet room (you can't hear the motorway, which is nearby). Breakfast is always good and plentiful and if you don't want to venture out the restaurant isn't bad in the evening.
But there are a couple of major factor that make this worth staying at rather than other large hotels nearby. One is the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym, which are always great a never very busy. The other is the price, especially if you book well in advance you can get some really good deals directly from Hilton.
And if you haven't been to this area before, check out Bradgate Park - it's about 7 or 8 miles from the hotel. Well worth a visit
C. M.
Great hotel , did not find that expensive as other post suggested.
However the rats on arrival were a bit disconcerting. Need pest control urgently , like yesterday (scrurring between car park and entrance)
Would have given an extra star.
Good food and great staff.
I do believe this rat problem could be easily fixed . However the management need addressing, and so do Hilton hotels.
G. P.
I was here as part of the Heavy Metal Truants charity cycle ride, and it was so cool, we rode into the hotel and down the corridors into our bike storage room! I had the honour of riding next to Iron Maiden's manager Rod Smallwood as we rode down the hallway. So cool. Anyway, over priced drinks but good quality Guinness and whiskey. Good food and awesome breakfast. Nice spa/leisure centre. Very clean and efficient hotel with lovely rooms. Recommend, especially with multiple motorways nearby.
M. R.
The conference facilities and the team were excellent, the team were all very helpful. Just wish I'd been booked in for the night, rather than the cheaper option that I spent the night at, as it looked a lot nicer, for not a lot mpre money (than a so called "budget" hotel cost).
D. H.
Was given a large bedroom on the ground floor which had an extremely soft bed where you can feel the springs. Was given a new room within minutes of informing the front desk. Person who helped me move rooms explained this is a known issue and the hotel is slowly replacing beds over a number of years. New rooms shower didn't have any hot water due to the inline aerator adding too much air, cooling the water too much. informed front desk with a detailed description, came back in the evening to find the same problem but didn't complain as didnt want to change rooms twice on a two night stay. Staff were great when presented with feedback and a complaint but the property is tired and needs some investment as issues don't seem to be new.
T. M.
The even bigger plus was that the swimming pool/gym etc was literally 20 metres at the end of the corridor from our room. The value was great with Bistro Live. There is a shopping centre just across the road with a food court, pizza …
M. 3.
What can I say......... one of the best places I have stayed. The service was a star and the experience perfect. The staff were only to happy to help but went the extra mile and really surprised me with the attention to detail. The lady on the front desk last night so the 19th Jan 2019 went well beyond her job and impressed us we are coming back on the 2nd of March. The breakfast was amazing and really impressive. Well done
A. J.
It's an old and tired hotel. The staff are friendly and professional
k. K.
Amazing hotel amazing staff .Sarah the manger was brilliant she was so understanding and careing she was so good with my kids .I came here to stay for personal reasons. It was like I was at home .the pool the rooms were so clean the food is cooked fresh they even make there own deserts. The
deserts are so outstanding and to die for this is the best hotel I have been to in Leicester I can't thank you all enough. Thank you to all the amazing staff. And this hotel as a lovely live band evey end of the month .the band was brilliant x
B. O.
Roughly a 15 minute taxi ride from centre. Hotel and services are excellent, however we had to ask staff to make the extra bed three times and it took 8 hours before they finally made it up at 2am. Inadequate quantity of toiletries and despite requesting more numerous times, no more arrived.
D. F.
Nice hotel. Decor pretty dated. Carpet in bathroom is poor form. Staff very attentive and friendly. Phone reception atrocious. Free WiFi requires Hhonors and more spam. Shower pressure very weak and tiny Otherwise a good stay.
D. R. (.
Nice Place & Brilliant Staff!
Could Do With Refurbishment & Air Con Installed. Parking is reasonable. Great Gym.
M. H.
Functional enough venue but starting to look a bit shabby now
T. N.
Staff , food, beer, carpark all good.
Rooms at parts of hotel need a major refurbishment.
R. S.
Lovely hotel.. clean and great service although if you want room service then you will need to pay extra for delivery! It's funny because the hotel is only two floors so it's easier for you to go down stairs and get what you want, but then that defeats the point of room service.
A. G.
Good clean hotel. Extra £6 for parking is ridiculous. Some rooms (105) were affected by boisterous late party with no forewarning to us otherwise we would have asked for a different room. Otherwise good.
T. M.
The rooms and the rest of the hotel are pretty standard. Men were banging on room doors all night trying to gain access to what appeared to be a party of young girls. Horrible big dirty brown stains on the carpet by the bathroom door which really needs cutting out and replacing.
P. R.
I attended a meeting at the hotel. I ordered a tea for myself and the gentleman I was meeting. The till did not have enough change for the staff to give back. The member of staff promised to bring me my change once he had it. Two and a half hours later after the meeting I had to go and ask for my change. The shift had changed so the girl behind the counter knew nothing about the situation. Fortunately she decided to just give me the change I required. Other than this incident the facilities were fine and the drinks were good.
A. L.
Fantastic stay, thoroughly enjoyed it. Stayed here for a birthday treat for my partner and the staff did everything to spoil him! Room was great!
D. H.
We were treated like VIPs from arrival to departure. The Chef and restaurant staff were especially helpful. I left some clothes behind and housekeeping located it and agreed to send it to me. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you.
B. B.
Lovely hair salon jade Elizabeth is situated near the gym if you are staying at the hotel anytime pop in and see her she is very friendly and helpful.
M. R.
Rooms and beds are good. Bathroom a bit tired looking. Lunch served during training days (I attended 4 times) is average with bland taste.
Relatively expensive hotel considering what you get in return.
O. G.
Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute there and didn't want to leave, but had to as work starts next day. Lol! Staff were very professional, courteous and friendly, especially Claire at the reception and Tim at the breakfast lounge. What stood out about both of them was the fact that they introduced themselves and told us to call on them if we needed anything. They were awesome. Would definitely be coming again.
Okiemute Gbagi.
D. P.
Lovely relaxing stay, staff really pleasant. X
M. M.
One receptionist (male) needs some training doesn't know how to get to the nearest park n ride....which we found was just over a mile away.... otherwise room was ok, just abit dated, breakfast was excellent, waiters/waitress hard-working and nothing was too much trouble for them
L. T.
Decent, but the last couple of times we've been they have managed to get something basic wrong. (Number of beds required, namely.) Also noticed the stay play explore rooms seems to be getting further and further away from reception, which I suppose is fair enough.
B. R.
Nice hotel lots of space and good rooms.
Restaurant is not as good as the high prices suggest but I had a good deal with breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was excellent.
Parking cost 6 for 24 hours and you can come and go during your stay
M. P.
would not stay here again. staff nice but hotel too dated and rooms noisy
S. S.
Courteous comfortable convenient, delicious breakfast...served with a smile by the gloriously friendly Betty and Joan...(amongst others!) Check in and out staff great... didn't catch the guy's name, but Claudia was lovely
J. A.
A more than friendly welcome. Very comfortable room and bed. The selection available at breakfast was amazing. Fruit, nuts, yoghurts, cereal, full english, fruit juices. Will stay again.
J. C.
This is a good old fashioned Hilton, getting a little bit tired, but still comfortable, with good food and drink and a comfy room. The room was huge, and this is indicative of these older hotels, but this made for a more comfortable stay.
M. Y.
Good value, clean comfortable Hotel for business in Leicester where staff cope well with COVID-19 restrictions
T. S.
The food in the bar is pretty bad. I ordered the pulled sandwich. I asked if it was pulled pork as it did not specify I was told yes. I was then asked if I wanted brown or white bread I asked for white. What arrived was a brown roll with pieces of chicken (not pulled) with a barbecue coating. NO BREAD OR PULLED PORK IN SITE. I was also charged for service that I did not agree to. This was credited at reception.
T. M.
I took my girlfriend here as I've used it previously for business and always found it very good. Staff in restaurant are trying really hard to make all happy, I am really grateful for the service I have received. Our rooms (deluxe) were tired and in need of redecoration.
h. h.
Lovely hotel and lovely spacious rooms, and professional staff only negative was the lack of disabled parking spaces due to non disabled guests and blue badge holders parking in the bays and the bathroom a little dated. Would definately return and recommend
T. M.
Nice hotel in good location for Conkens and Space center. The rooms were clean and tidy even after the room service made the room up. The staff were very pleasant and the service was good. Very good location just off m. For the price we paid I was more than happy.
A. R.
It might not be as nice looking as some Hilton's but that was more than made up for by the impeccable service by the incredibly polite and helpful staff. Also a lovely selection of food for breakfast.
s. d.
Enjoyed the living well spa and pool during our stay. Staff very helpful in light of Covid restrictions
G. L.
This is a good quality hotel in the Hilton chain. It was one of the Stakis hotels that Hilton procured a number of years ago. The Stakis hotels generally had the same designs and layouts and as such it has a similar layout to others which give it a 'familiar' feeling. Rooms are good and well maintained. Restaurant is good and breakfast is a plentiful buffet style.
s. d.
Staff were very nice but hotel is very outdated, needs a major refresh as carpet looks dirty, blood stains on walls and melted stains on radiators etc
R.
Nice place. We had our church men's meeting here. The staff were really helpful and friendly and had set up the room nicely. We also had our lunch here and the food was tasty.
A. M.
Excellent service and location. Rooms were clean and comfortable but a little too warm. Noise from traffic at night but the hotel is by the road so this is to be expected.
l. m.
Great stay, phenomenal breakfast staff went over and above due to the heavy snow ensuring we had supplies in case we were stranded offering water, blankets for our children as we had a 200 mile journey on leaving. We will be exclusively using this hotel in Leicester in the future due to this.
R. K.
Nice ambience and staff make you feel comfortable and relaxing. Very luxurious lounges with good food and service. Car parking charges a little expensive. Overall, it had been a nice experience.
J. B.
User bar as informal meeting point, so unable to comment on rooms etc. Staff all friendly and efficient, ample parking and very nice and handy location. Bit costly for parking and drinks, although not much more than usually expected for this type of location.
P. M.
Lovely friendly check in. Good price nice room and breakfast
S. H.
Staycation part of StayPlayExplore offer. Great value for money and able to do 3 activities....well located off J21 M1, close to City Centre & Local amenities... spent 3 nights here with own family and 3 others... friendly staff, kids able to use pool, I made use of the well equipped gym etc...
A. G.
Great staff, always ready to help. Rooms very good size. Fitness / swimming pool also very good. Would stay again 🤩
T. M.
We didnt have breakfast or dinner at this hotel. A bit cheeky to charge extra for the car park considering the location. I was there for a business meeting and was a bit annoyed that they made my guests pay for car parking even though I was booked into the Hotel for the night, it seemed a bit unhelpful.
B. W.
brilliant. just one thing. ask for a room near reception otherwise they will send you to the new wing but you would probably need a shuttle bus to get there and if you decide to walk you might think you are in a horror movie walking down a never ending corridor
T. M.
Staff member made a fuss when asked to print out a boarding pass as guests have no such facilities themselves. The muesli compote caught my eye this time and thanks to the lady with the blonde hair, I can't wait to try making it at home. Clearly need to re address taking money and looking at value for money.
S. B.
All average apart from the excessive car parking charges !
Friendly and helpful staff.
K. m. N.
Had a good time there. Food was great and large. Downside is you have to pay for the Internet, no free Wi-Fi. Parking is not free as well. I had to pay £6 for 1 overnight stay parking.
D. M.
Superb customer service. Amazing room. Very reasonably priced
B. C.
Didn't stay overnight, but did have a meeting here. Coffee was good. Hotel was clean. Staff were courteous. And, they didn't charge me for parking. So, all-in-all, it was pretty good.
K. S.
Overnight stay with a lovely room and visit to the spar. It was my birthday and the reception staff organised some snacks and a small bottle of wine for the room. Thank you great time.
M. A.
Excellent service and a nice staff atmosphere. Rooms could do with updating but ok. The onsite gym with pool and spa is excellent. Nice location just off the motorway 15 mins to city centre. Highly recommended.
K. S.
Rooms good. A bit dated decor wise with plastic bathroom fittings. Dust on toilet roll holder. Dust on tissue dispenser. Stayed in room 159. Other then that fairly good.
J. W.
The gym and facilities are fantastic and so are all the staff...
Sauna steam room jacuzzi...

Great service
Every time i have visited the place for meeting or drinks, the staff have been super polite and helpful.
I can't remember the names of the people working there but i will update the review once i do.

Perfect! Got a double room. Comfortable beds, spacious room and good shower. The breakfast is very good and with a wide variety of pastry, cereals and a English breakfast buffet.
M. T.
Food was good but expensive, drink was ludicrously expensive (though somewhat expected I guess). Rooms were nice and clean if a little dated. Pool was good, but difficult to navigate with a lack of signage.
J. E.
Rooms were clean and tidy and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The evening food was great with an excellent buffet style selection for breakfast
A. C.
Facilities were excellent, staff helpful. Room service was late but was compensated. Overall great hotel.
A. S.
Nice hotel, although starting to show its age. However great food and lovely staff make this a worthwhile stopover location
M. A.
Helpful staff, clean spacious rooms and brilliant location just off of the motorway. It made a very welcome place to stop in when visiting the city of Leicester. I would recommend to others
L. B.
Stayed one night for while travelling with work. Got a great nights sleep and the food was great (I had the chicken skewer with sweet potato). I will stay here next time I am in Leicester. Would recommend.
D. G.
Hilton hotels are always a great place to stay and their breakfasts are legendary! Just have to leave myself today. Only 4 stars because it's not immaculate but that's just being picky :-)
J. C.
Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.
No air conditioning in the rooms and ANPR on the car park. Seems to be a popular conference venue.
E. B.
Went for a workout at LivingWell. Have to say, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is well-kept and the gym had a great selection of machines and equipment.
R. G.
Everything was well presented and clean, good breakfast selection with friendly staff. Pool access was a nice bonus, our family enjoyed a great morning swim.
P. F.
The service was very forced. The menu as quite small and expensive. The room layout was quite poor, the only way to watch the TV was to look diagonally across the room which became uncomfortable quite quickly.
D. D.
Rooms lovely clean comfortable meal very nice staff absolutely second to none nothing to much trouble thank you for a pleasant stay
A. J.
Super room, both times I've been here. I like the bar, health spa and room service - inc menu .
Not so keen on breakfast, but then - just stay in bed and get room service!
S. H.
Big, clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Helpful staff. Lots of parking. Good facilities, especially pool and gym. Good breakfast. But wifi terrible.
W. H.
Expensive beer, toilets smelt vile as soon as you walk in.
D. N.
Good place for meetings. Coffee shop and plenty of tables. Parking is a bit on the pricey side but at least the car is safe. Friendly staff
J. B.
+ Breakfast is very nice. Rooms are big and comfortable with all common amenities in good order. Nice comfortable conference area.
- Expensive
S.
Poor internet, rip off parking (the barriers never work),below average room service. Would stay elsewhere if I had a choice. Never really had a 'great' stay at any Hilton. All trousers.
M. C.
Lovely quiet location just off J21 of the M1. Smart and clean but in need of USB charging sockets in rooms for those of us that forgot our plugs!
K. “. K.
Was good. Upgraded our room as our original room stunk of cigarettes
I. A.
Pleasant room and nice food in the bar but the staff in the bar were absent most of the time leading to very poor service with lots of waiting around to give drinks and food orders.
G. Y.
Great room, very well presented hotel. I found the mattress a little bit too soft though. Otherwise excellent
K. P.
Brilliant experience staying at the Hilton hotel, friendly staff, kids friendly place. The breakfast was lovely. Swimming pool/sauna on site as well.
D. W.
I enjoyed a week here for a training course the staff and setting made for a good week, the food was a particular high. However I will never rate a hotel higher than 3 star when they charge for parking
E. A.
Went for xmas dinner with work. Food was ok even if it was hot held for to long e.g. green veg was brown, stuffing rubbery. But an ok dinner overall. Disco was a bit cheesy but a good laugh.
L. T.
Good hotel. Good location. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
R. M.
I went for a professional seminar. The hotel itself looked fantastic. Front desk was very helpful. All the areas looked sparkling clean.
S. F.
Lovely hotel and staff - so hospitable
G.
Comfortable room and good amenities, little bit dated and the bar didn’t have much selection. Breakfast was lovely.
S. A.
Nice spa, no aircon
A. C.
Nice hotel, room decor is still in the early 90s and no air conditioning, but close to the M1. Superb breakfast.
C. M.
Room had very stained leather couch, and the mattress seemed really this or old, not sure which is it. Restraint service was good and public areas are clean, getting into the location is a pain if you miss the turning due to its location
S. S.
Supply Chain Steve was Ace.... only shame was no cheeseboard....
A. A.
Same great customer service you'd expect from a hilton, but I still begrudge the cost of parking. You pay the extra for a top rate hotel and still get stung with a bill for parking.
J. C.
Decent facilities, was there attending a training course so can't comment on the rooms. The food was good though
S. B.
Went for afternoon tea. Service was brilliant would recommend this place. Only annoying thing was the car park price £5 for a hour and a half.
Z. V.
Good hotel, clean and nice toiletries. A bit out of the way but does the job. Staff was nice and welcoming.
p.
Mixed reactions some staff nice some moody. Rooms were nive but no ac was a killer. Breakfast was nice but to be honest over priced
A. K.
Nice and comfortable stay.
K. B.
Hard to fault it really, been recently decorated and it meets with my approval, staff always proffessional polite and courteous, rooms to a good standard, fixed shower does my head in I prefer the flexible hose that along with no little packets of biscuits my only gripes', fix them for 5 stars, oh yes I'm back there for a couple of days in April and May.
Z. G.
Excellent service. Bathrooms could be refreshed. For the cost of the rooms, parking fee is expensive for a non city centre property.
S. B.
Good pool and gym. Room was nice but could smell sewage in the bathroom and for part of the night it absolutely stunk of weed and smoke.
K. R.
Rooms are big but no fridge, no air-conditioning, food selection on the menu not so great and no chef specials of the day, service good, location good access but quiet loud. Overall nice place to say for one two nights.
L. P.
Lovely comfortable hotel. Staff friendly. Few bits could be upgraded in bathrooms.
A. A.
Hilton Leicester hotel. Lovely hotel great place to stay if you want to go when traveling from London to Alton towers is 1 hour and 2 min exactly very convenient rather than traveling 3 hours 12 min roughly
C. C.
Afternoon tea was lovely...looking forward to going back...very friendly staff
b. c.
Ideal location - 3 mins from M1 exit, especially for business meetings too with sensible spacing. Parking easy and good service in meeting area.
D. G.
Really lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was a really pleasant stay.
L. J.
Nice place but extortionate car parking costs! Good service and calm atmosphere but won't be back due to paying five pounds for under two hours - makes an expensive cup of tea!
P. G.
Very friendly and attentive staff, plenty of cat parking spaces.
J. P.
Decent hotel, no significant problems but there was a lack of plug sockets to use (only 2 in a family room)
D. D.
Nice post lockdown experience to date...2nd Night with a good decent breakfast our 1st morning...
T.
Easy access and parking. Good venue as I was attending a training seminar. Refreshments and snacks were excellent and the staff were very helpful.
A. M.
Lovely hotel with pool and gym, big rooms (sleeps a family of 6), just few min away from sainsbury and asda super stores,
R. E.
Had many a event here. The staff know what we like and want and everything works will here. Food great, service great, prices great, highly recommended !!!
C. C.
Room and hotel was as expected. Small mistakes on the bill were quickly rectified. Food was however very overpriced and underwhelming.
A. N.
Really nice pool with jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. Great range of equipment in the Gym. Rooms aren't that bad either.
M. K.
No air conditioning and close to a motorway meant I couldn't open a window. The bathroom had yellowing grout and black marks on the ceiling. Somewhere to rest your head at night but that's about it.
C. M.
Fabulous food and child friendly service in the restaurant. Pool times were limited but this was not advertised at booking.
K. J.
Had a short stay on a business trip. My stay was comfortable. Only thing I found missing was a mobile charging point by the bed!
B. B.
Great location. Rooms are nice and clean. Wish parking was free for residence though.
P. A.
Unfortunately the accessable room we booked had a bath and no accessable shower. Do not book if you have any mobility problems.
C. B.
Nice room though bathroom a little tired. Friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent
E. B.

e. a.
Polite staff, clean rooms everything you would expect to be fair. Although you do get the feeling that this could all be done cheaper. Overall what you would expect!
A. D.
Food is good, the hotel is above average, however their parking is not free for guests .
J.
Perfect stay. Went above expectations. Super friendly staff and made our stay brilliant. 10/10

Y. P.
Great service and very spacious. Would highly recommend.
R. D.
Good location near M1 & M69. Good facilities, good staff, all pretty good. No USB sockets in rooms yet. Breakfast is awesome!
I. S.
Nice peaceful location. Staff was also polite. Really enjoyed my stay
J. B.
Food was superb, rooms, comfortable and good size. Swimming pool and gym on site. Plenty of secure parking.
D. R.
The hotel wasn't straight forward to access from the M1 and was also difficult to get back onto the motorway. Room and food were OK with no complaints.
J. O.
Amazing place, was only a last minute one night stop due to an emergency at work but a beautiful place with a stunning buffet breakfast.
J. B.
Great sized rooms clean and nice and quiet just what's needed on a weekend break
V. _.
The only hotel that I stay in when I'm visiting family in the Midlands, great location, very attentive staff and overall good value for money.
D. B.
Very nice place to stay and the staff are really friendly they always there when you need them and checking how you are getting on and I would stay here again 100%
S. H.
Nice hotel, but bit of a devil to get to from the motorway.
J. I.
Firm queen sized beds. Simple and comfortable rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Expensive wifi.
M. T.
I have to say... one of the best night's sleep I've had away from home. Bed and pillows were oh do comfy!
D. B.

A. C.
Nice hotel, room decor is still in the early 90s and no air conditioning, but close to the M1. Superb breakfast.

J. P.
Decent hotel, no significant problems but there was a lack of plug sockets to use (only 2 in a family room)
P. L.
Absolutely fantastic night celebration a 40,70 90th birthday party, staff and venue were great !!
F. v. E.
Friendly and pro-active staff
D. M.
Nice hotel but missing aircon & they're a bit obsessed with charging for parking. Found the front desk and restaurant staff friendly.
R. B.
Typical business hotel that is overpriced. Watch out for the bar staff adding service charge to your drinks bill!
M. A.
Nice clean and friendly reception and rooms, parking charges for non staying guests are through the roof
D. B.
Dated but good quality hotel. Comfortable room, good service and excellent breakfast.
F. H.
Nice hotel breakfast was great.. a lot of traffic in corridors though making rooms noisy.
L. T.
Food brilliant you get plenty but drink prices absolutely shocking take your own and for the DJ terrible didn't know how to keep people on the dance floor 🤔
C. C.
Nice service and good price. Just need a bit of refurbishment in some of the older rooms
S. G.
The rooms are a little outdated, and the restaurant menu isn't the best. However it is clean and the staff are very helpful
A. R.
Good customer service. For the price you pay for a room you'll expect Hilton quality, but in reality the hotel is warn out.
V. N.
Had an hour meeting in the reception area. Everything is nice and tidy but £5 for less than 2 hours parking is a rubbery.
B. G.
Beautiful place, elegant and sophisticated! Staff are extremely helpful and always give fantastic service! 10/10 would recommend!
T. S.
Brilliant. A big thank you to the staff. They made us very welcome. The children had a great time. Thank you

Only visited for a meeting. Generally okay premises, bit ageing, but customer service is good.
P. A.
Hotel room was very nice but the long walk to it, past the gym, was not ideal
A. S.
Went for a training session. Food good, help yourself to drinks, biscuits etc all day.
