M. M.This was a much nicer experience than I expected for a city centre hotel.
The first surprise was the lovely warm welcome from each and every staff member.
The hotel feels very clean and new, with rather swishly-designed rooms - with a space-age shower room 'pod'. Surprisingly quiet too.
I have already booked another room for an upcoming event.

C. D.It was nice enough and the staff friendly. Only one minor issue was the cleanliness of the room. My TV was very dusty and so where my shelves. Makes me wonder when they say how its sterile but they clearly haven't wiped the place down.
N. I. N.Every thing was good but only 2 black receptionist was on 16/09/2021 at 12:30 am. They are so rude and don’t know how to talk with guest but specially EWA was very helpful. Thanks EWA for every thing.

However we were only given 1 pillow for me and my fiancé. There was no phone in the room to contact reception. Instead we had to keep calling from our mobile or go down to the ground floor.
The coffees in the morning are £3 each whereas it's cheaper to just go starbucks.
The bathroom and shower facilities are very clean. The beds were comfy and the TV was reasonably good.
Overall I would say it was ideal for the price.

G.This was my second time staying there because it was so good the first time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Double room was a good size and double bed was comfy and big. Nice bathroom with a lovely shower. The free WiFi was great, as was the TV in the room too. Will definitely stop again when I'm in the area!
K. M.Really nice for what is basically a budget hotel. Good clean rooms with everything you need, comfy beds, friendly welcoming staff and a lovely relaxed lounge / bar space. Breakfast is nothing special and there's the odd bit of traffic noise, but overall this is a decent hotel for work travel and good value.
S. R. (.Good bedroom, nice and clean, ok breakfast in the morning, good private gym and overall a comfy stay. However the bathroom smelt, the drain from the shower was causing this I think.
They have good equipment like an iron and iron board, hair dryer, large dressing table, tea/coffee items with kettle, a desk and a tv.
I would give a 4 star had the bathroom not smelt or was better in terms of looks.

T. R. G. o. L. J.The hotel is very clean and the stunning receptionist was very nice. The room was tad bit too warm for me and I couldn’t adjust the temperature. I had opened the window but all I can hear was the main road. The room are not sound proof I was able to here the couple from the next room all night. The room price was average. They have a free car park. WiFi was fast.
M. h. M. T.Convenient for Leicester city centre everything within walking distance and easy access to it. Plenty of parking onsite. Rooms a good size with very comfortable beds and clean, room, was sparkling clean by the chamber maids every day. The breakfast is a buffet but more than enough to fill any appetite with plenty of options to cater for more or less every taste. Good hotel and would definitely use again.
C. W.Nice comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Looks like a prefabricated room but it's gives it a modern look. Comfortable beds. Room was perfect temperature. Didn't take free "Handy" smart phone out of my room but it's a novel idea, useful if you are low on data. Good breakfast. Quite pricey though not sure how this compares to other hotels nearby. There is very limited parking out front but there is parking very close by, which the hotel offered change for which was kind, it's free to park in the evening (can't remember exact time) and free till 9:30 in the morning. Overall a nice experience.
D. P.Nice clean rooms, spacious and warm (thermostat easy to regulate). Friendly staff at reception. Parking a bit limited but there is other parking nearby. Bathroom was also rather tight and the water took a little while to heat up. Only other downside was the breakfast wish was ok for cereals, but the hot food was rather anaemic and bland. Overall worth the money for a central hotel.

R. B.Good location for Leicester train station, approx 5 mins walk, approx 10 minutes to the main shopping quarter. On arrival by train found the hotel without any fuss. Trouble was getting inside!! On approach you can't tell where the Reception/Entrance is as it's not recognisable which is the front and which is the rear of the building. Check-in was quick and the receptionist polite.
Room was tidy and clean upon entering, comfortable double bed, 32inch flat screen tv(which didn't work) even after having the remote changed at reception, although i was offered a change of room which I declined because I had already unpacked and with me only staying the night.
Tea and coffee making facilities provided with small wardrobe, writing desk, long but narrow, a City explorer type mobile phone you can use for finding your way around the City, recommended pubs and restaurants to visit etc.
Bathroom very clean and tidy with a powerful shower, more than enough towels.
I didn't use the restaurant or bar facilities so couldn't comment on the food or beer!!
Overall I would say one of the better Budget hotels and definitely worth a stay if you are looking for accommodation overnight or a weekend stay.

J. H.Good value. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and well enough appointed with tea making facilities in the room. The bar was quite comfortable and pleasant. I've docked a star because my room overlooked a busy road which was quite noisy even in the middle of the night.
J. J.Good for an overnight stay. The location is perfect for all city centre amenities. The rooms, since refurbished, are comfortable. Service from a member of staff called Derek was impeccable. Don't like the heavy duvets and the tea making facilities offer the bare minimum, but otherwise everything's ok.
A. A.Hotel ambience is quite modern, chic and clean. The room decor is modern/abstract and modernised but nothing fancy. Views are ‘ok’ and there was no noise where I was However, my room was not up to standard. One of the major bulbs were out and there strands of hair and make up stains left in bathroom.
Room also did not get very warm with heating. Proximity to city centre and courts is perfect. Good for a budget, but food is quite expensive.
No portable iron or iron board... you have to go to an ‘ironing room’ on the 1st/2nd floor. I did not like that at all. Can be awkward if someone is already in there.
The lift ALWAYS stops at the lobby first....... why!?
Would I go again? Hmmm only if necessary and I would definitely make a fuss about the room this time if it had issues.
T. J.Great little hotel when visiting Leicester. The rooms are very clean and the beds are large and comfortable. There is free WiFi in all the rooms and free view tv channels. The bathrooms are small but they have a power shower and the water is always hot. Staff are friendly and helpful which is always a plus. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and parking is free.
r. b.Rooms are small but functional, clean and comfortable. All the staff are polite and give good service. The only gripe is that the hotel is quite noisy, you can hear people banging about in their rooms at all hours. Fine for a short stay of one or two nights.
N. A.A good budget hotel, located only a 10 minute walk from the city centre, and conveniently right next to the train station. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The is also free WiFi, a handy free phone, and there is a free ironing room on the 2nd floor. The only draw back is that the shower is quite small.

a. k.The hotel is basic and efficient. I have stayed her several times. It has a really good location. Very close to the station, a short walk from shops, cinema town centre. Rooms are basic, ran and functional. Breakfasts are small fryups and are not bad. Staff are not overly friendly but they are happy to help when asked.
S. B.Checking in was met with a table next to the bar. I do get the idea as you don't need a grand reception just to check in, a simple laptop and key is fine. My room size was normal however the heat extractor only heats up the area by the door and I had it on 30c and it was more like 20c it was generating. The extractor in the bathroom I don't think worked and the demister mirror in the bathroom cleared a patch the size of an apple at stomach height. Dinner and breakfast was fine. On checking out I wasn't asked how my stay was....but I'm sure they will know soon as they do reply to these reviews.
R.Room was nice, clean and staff were polite. It is located near a busy road so in the room I was spending the night I could hear traffic, this became less of a nuance the later it got. It was also very easy to hear people talking in the corridors in the night but other than that I enjoyed my stay.

It has good proximity to the city and railway station. Rooms all seem identical and fit a maximum of two people, which would pose a problem to anyone looking to host a room of more than two.
Room was pleasantly air-conditioned, with a clean ensuite and spacious shower. No iron in the room, but there was a communal ironing room on the floor below for anyone with ironing needs. Breakfast was not included, which was the only major drawback, and was an additional price that I found quite expensive.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but functional. Breakfast was fine. Handy for the station and local shops / restaurants.

H. P.Staff were really nice whilst checking in, room was fine, although the decor of this place reminds me of the 80s, it was clean. The lift was strange, always stops at the reception floor (level 0) despite only pressing -1, some sort of glitch. The parking or lack of was not much of an issue for me as I was able to park on the side street next to the hotel, but I can imagine it being a major issue for others.
d. k.Overall the hotel was clean and tidy. My rooms sink leaked which resulted in a flooded bathroom. My and the others from my group's sinks had an unpleasant smell from them. The car park is small meaning I had to stay in the ncp nearby however it is a short distance. The staff were generally unhelpful and seemed to be more interested in talking amongst themselves than to the guests.
Y. I.Location is pretty central. Can't comment on food as I didn't dine during my stay. Staff were helpful enough. Unfortunately the TV was not working and a light bulb was missing from one of the lights which didn't come across well. Parking limited. Finally, keep your Windows locked if you want to get some sleep. Busy main road is just outside.

M. R.Beautiful hotel, very clean, very friendly attentive & professional staff,good for those with mobility issues, EXCEPT FOR THE BED that felt as HARD AS CONCRETE. I had NO SLEEP AT ALL & my husband could hardly move the next day through the back pain. Due to the beds we could not stay there again.

O. O.I booked this for about 65 pounds a night. Didn’t feel worth it. It was quite small and the room phone did not work. This price also didn’t include breakfast. The entry looks like a service entry and the lobby is basically the register area of the restaurant which isn’t on the ground floor. Everything about this place screams budget except the price.

J.Tidy, clean hotel in a good city centre location. Unfortunately the staff seemed to be irritated that they had to serve customers, firstly when I checked in and asked for a coffee and then when my friend and me got back from a gig and asked for some food, the poor poor chap doing the night shift had to do something other than sit at the bar and watch TV all night, I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. CUSTOMERS PAY YOUR WAGES, HAVE SOME RESPECT!
