N. B.A great discovery in an area of town that could be very useful, certainly it's relatively undiscovered by tourists. Vicky runs a lovely little B&B; the accommodation is in a self-contained building at the end of the garden, and is completely private. The quality of the bedding, teas and coffees, and the food served at breakfast was top-notch - maybe a little thing, but an important part of how the accommodation feels. Not quite perfect - we didn't find any hanging space (although since we were only there for one night, that wasn't a major problem), and the only area where the quality didn't quite match was that the pillows could have been softer. But Althorp Lodge was a great find, and if we need to be back in the area, we'll certainly be staying again. Excellent, highly recommended.
