M. S.If you are looking for a cheap, clean place to stay within a convenient area for transport etc look no further. Although the room may be small and basic, it is well equipped with a fridge, hair dryer, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff are very friendly and obliging. The local buses are a couple of minutes walk and the nearest station Golders Green about three minutes away, even for a slow walker. I could not fault this place. Although it may not be a five star establishment, I have given it five stars because that is what it deserves for the great cheap price you will pay. One of the best cheap hotels in London and I have stayed in many. These include higher price ones that have not been as good.
S. M.I found the Anchor Hotel to be extremely comfortable. It was very clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The price was very competitive and appealing. The location is great too.
It is only a three minute walk to the Golders Green underground station and reasonably close to the end of the M1 which is helpful for my journey back.
I would definitely consider stopping here again next time O want to stop over in London
h. t.I stayed here for 5 nights and left there with satisfaction. They give you 2 keys when you check in. One for your room another for main entrance . It’s not kinda hotel because you feel your home . I was okey with room. It was clean and tidy. I give 1 star less because of ; no breakfast, no daily housekeeping and the most important thing is about beds . They are not comfortable at all.
Overall; it’s good choice to stay there. Next to the Golders Green underground station and many bus stations.

The room is well equipped and the bathroom is small but has everything you would need for a short stay.
A word of warning: don't arrive before 2pm unless you've booked early check in. There won't be anyone on reception and the door will be locked !

It was adequate and clean, with en suite. A bit pinched for size,the room has a safe, iron with ironing board, hairdryer, fridge, air-conditioning, tv and tea/coffee making facilities.
A continental breakfast, cereals, croissant's, toast, yoghurt, tea, coffee and fruit juices, are served on the ground floor in the breakfast room, this is very small room and has 5 dining table's, some guests turning up for breakfast were asked to wait a while for table's to be vacated, not good!

T. R.Decent hotel for a reasonable price. Ok, so you're not going to get Hilton luxury here, but you're not going to pay Hilton prices either! The rooms are, however, clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a decent night's sleep.
Golders Green underground station is just a couple of minutes walk, and then it's just 20 minutes or so to central London.
There's a limited number of parking spaces available, but be aware that a residents permit scheme is in operation on the surrounding streets, so if you're planning on bringing your car I'd recommend checking with the hotel that they'll have a space available.
The only slight downside is the breakfast, for which only a continental option is available, but all in all this has become my go-to hotel when I need to stay overnight in London.

In the process of rebranding. It will become OYO Anchor Hotel soon. Starting with this rebranding the hotel does not provide hand towels nor bathroom floor towels, but only a big bathroom towel and the breakfast had a shrinkage in options, which is a pitty.

Stayed Here with my 2 sons after attending the League One Play Off Final between Sunderland & Charlton at Wembley Stadium !!! Had a Triple Room and couldn't be more impressed , Spotlessly clean accommodation Comfortable Beds & Very informative Staff Only Wish we had stayed for breaky but we left at 4.00 am to go back to the North East But hopefully we will be using the Anchor again I will be reccommending this place to all friends and family who are visiting the capital Money well spent !!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁
