Fantastic! Friendly , cozy , bed was super comfortable! Walking distance away from city center! Ignore the past reviews because you can see the hotel has tried hard to change and they have dobe a good job. It's in a perfect location walking distance every where . Price is fair and they have nice breakfast included in price too .

A rather unconventional hotel in the sense that it's very basic. I thought it was more a like a hostal. Either way what it lacks in decor it makes up for in nice friendly staff. I had a good experience it was very clean. Check out is at half ten which I thought was pretty early but it is what it is.

We visited as a family of 4 two years back and thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming stay. We always recommend here as the location is great for on foot amenities and sites to see. Host were accommodating and helpful. Price was great also. We plan to return post Covid as a family of five now. Would not stay anywhere else.

I booked the room in this hotel on booking.com based on reviews and facilities described there. After paying and receiving booking confirmation I received an email saying that the hotel is closed and my data is sent to another hotel next door, which was rated a lot lower. To say the least, it was an unexpected turn of events. Fortunately, another hotel was not too bad but it was nowhere as nice as it should have been.

I had the chance to visit London walking thanks to the strategical location of this hotel! Buffet breakfast was good but not much variety. Staff was nice and helpful. The only things I didn't like were: the bags storage in the public lounge and the hygiene (my room was dirty full of dust). Recommended anyway

Excellent budget hotel in a superb location.The rooms are dated but very clean and the beds are super comfy. The bathrooms were clean and convenient enough considering ours was shared. The staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was top quality and set us up perfectly for a day out and about. I genuinely think this hotel is very good and will stay again.

Pros: Location: Excellent! The property is closed to both Victoria (650m, app. 8mins walk) and Northern lines (350m, app. 4mins walk) which covered most the places we were going. Food: only breakfast is available, which was include in our booking. It was quite basic: toast, sausage, ham, juice, coffee and milk. Staffs: They are all excellent!!! Talk with three different receptionists during our three-day-long stay and all of them are super friendly. They are ready to help whenever you need it! Cons: Facilities: The wall and the door are a bit thin, so you can easily hear any noise from other rooms or people at hallway. The bed is old and I think it is broken at some parts since it is bumpy. The bathroom looks quite new and great, but in order to accompany the size of the bathroom, the sink is a bit small.

Very friendly staff, very accommodating. I stayed a couple of days and found it to be quiet and very peaceful. Common room and breakfast downstairs every morning with wonderful cooks. Pretty much a no frills place, but that's what I was after, and at a very reasonable rate as well. Next time I am in London I would not hesitate to stay there.

Highly recommended this place if you are visiting central London. This hotel located 5 minutes walk away from Northern Line underground Goodge Street station, or 10 minutes walk from Piccadilly Line underground Russell Square station. You need to knock/pull the front door as no door bell available. Receptionist are friendly and well prepared with all my booking details in hand, so no delay for checking in. You need to leave your door key to reception when you're going out and pick it up from 24/7 reception. Photos attached showed the en-suite quadruple room with window for part of garden view. Small yet compact toilet cum shower room privately accessed from the room. There is also a communal bathroom for some non-ensuite rooms to share. Day light into the room is satisfied. No air-conditioning but small fan was working well. Kettle, hairdryer, small fridge, small tv, mugs and cups are provided. Full English breakfast are provided at the underground of hotel from 7.30am to 9.30am to kick start a good day. Garden in the hotel is accessible for specific time. There are cafes and restaurants nearby for food hunting, as well as some shops for shopping. There are also varieties of newspaper and magazine to read the communal room despite TV. Staffs are very kind to allow me having tap water directly from the kitchen instead of having water from toilet, otherwise I will be spending more to buy bottle water.

Good location, nice room, bathroom ensuite was tiny and had a missing toilet button but generally the facilities are as you'd expect for the area. Shared bathrooms are larger and kept clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good with scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, tomato, fruits, juices, and cereals.

If you first travel to this Hotel, the best thing you can do is to rent room 18! The view alone is astonishing and the fact that they managed to fit everything into the room is also incredible. 3 beds perfectly wrapped as you enter the room, and a few pictures that have been boltet to the walls. The bathroom is beyond a bathroom, it is more like an aquatic experience. You can hear the water running but you can't feel the waterpressure. The aroma of this room is so breathtaking (you should definately wear a mask at all times) the forrest smells really come close to perfection in this room.This is really the hotel for a family vacation. Don't bother with the wifi, or the tv, it seems like modern technology doesn't work in this place, so bring a card game or a board game if you wouls like to stay at this lovely hotel. The staff is so gentle and kind, and the humour was flowing through the walls. If you want to visit a brittish national treasure, this is a must see attraction! You have to experience it to believe what an amazing place this is!

Es gibt ein gutes englisches Frühstück mit Rührei, Schinken, Bohnen und Würstchen und natürlich Toast, Aufschnitt, Marmeladen, Cerealien und Obst (auch wenn zum englischen Frühstück eigentlich Grilltomaten statt frischer Tomatenscheiben gehören). Im Frühstücksraum geht es leider sehr eng zu, es empfiehlt sich, eher früher zu erscheinen. Großer Pluspunkt: tolle Lage mitten in London, umgeben von vier U-Bahn-Stationen nicht weit vom British Museum.
