G. H.The hotel is clean, but run down. A typical 3 star hotel in a deprived area of London. The staff are polite and friendly, and very helpful.
3. B. S. M.The reviews online don't do the Bay Tree justice, it is a central London hotel within walking distance of the tube at Stratford for £60, come on. Are there better hotels , yes, but it is clean, beds are comfy, reasonably quiet, staffed and plenty of places around. It is what it is a budget hotel in London for £60. Many Thanks, oh and the showers are fab.
C. S.The hotel had nice facilities and even better service. The breakfast was very good and more than enough, the room had clean sheets, air conditioning working well, had LCD TV with local channels and they made an effort to keep the room clean most of the time. It didn't had a restaurant inside to eat at night, but it has a convenience store next to it and a couple of blocks in the same street there's an indian fast food delivery, so if needed you could just walk outside and get something.
The location is far from the center of London, it's like a hotel inside a neighborhood, but it was secure and also there is a bus stop in the corner that takes you to the train station very quickly. Also from the stratford station you can go to any train line and get back from any line without complications, and the trains are the most new and comfortable I believe in the whole Underground train service. We used Underground and DLR and had no problems getting back to Stratford.
Next to the train station are the olympic villas and also there's the Stratford Centre where you can do some flea market shopping and bargain hunting, and next to it there's a huge mall for more upper-class shopping if you want to spend an afternoon without going to central London.
Great place to be; will definitely stay again.

A.За такие деньги вполне неплохо. По Central Line на метро 5 остановок до Тауэра, до Биг-Бэна и музеев подальше и с пересадкой. Завтрак хороший, но очень скромный: каша, яичница, омлет, тосты, сосиски - на выбор или все вместе ))) …

G.(Translated) The Bay Tree is a lovely hotel, redone on the occasion of the 2012 Olympics. The room we stayed in for a week was comfortable, although small (double bed, desk, tv, with in the shower room attached toilets Italian shower). The decor was neat and modern, only the lack of storage space is regrettable (an office with two drawers and a bedside table only, suddenly the bags take up a lot of room in a room already small ...). In addition, all that was included in the basic offer was not in the room (for example there was no safe, coffee maker or dvd player). However our room, which was located on the second floor and did not overlook the road, was quiet (which I do not guarantee for rooms on the first floor, above the hotel bar where music is strong on weekends, and / or overlooking the busy road). The breakfast, which is taken in the hotel bar was plentiful and of good quality (although we had to insistions to have it as it was included in our reservation), served until 10am. Finally, access to central London is very convenient. Indeed, from the hotel it takes 2 minutes to reach a bus (25 or 86) which leaves us 2 or 3 stops further (just 5 min) to Stratford station (served by the central line and the overground) which is also next to a very large shopping center Westfield, also built for the Olympics, very chic and with shops for all purses! Lastly, this hotel is a good value for money comfort and location near the center, in which we would be willing to return to stay, but always in a quiet room hopefully!

Le Bay Tree est un hôtel charmant, refait à neuf à l’occasion des JO de 2012. La chambre dans laquelle nous avons passé notre séjour d’une semaine était confortable, bien que petite (lit à deux places, bureau, tv, avec dans la salle d‘eau rattachée toilettes douche à l‘italienne). La décoration était soignée et moderne, seul le manque radical de rangement est regrettable (un bureau avec deux tiroirs et une table de chevet seulement, du coup les valises prennent beaucoup de place dans une chambre déjà petite…). En outre, tous ce qui était compris dans l’offre de base ne se trouvais pas dans la chambre (par exemple il n’y avait pas de coffre fort, de cafetière ou encore de lecteur dvd). Toutefois notre chambre, qui se situait au deuxième étage et ne donnait pas sur la route, était au calme (ce que je ne garantit pas pour les chambres au premier, au dessus du bar de l’hôtel où la musique est forte le weekend, et/ou qui donne sur la route très passante). Le petit déjeuner, qui se prend dans le bar de l’hôtel était copieux et de bonne qualité (même s'il a fallut que nous insistions pour l'avoir comme il était inclus dans notre réservation), servi jusqu’à 10h. Enfin, l’accès au centre de Londres est très pratique. En effet, depuis l’hôtel il faut 2 minutes de marches pour atteindre un bus (le 25 ou 86) qui nous déposes 2 ou 3 arrêts plus loin (à peine 5 min de trajet) à la gare de Stratford (desservie par la central line et l’overground) qui se trouve également à coté d’un très grand centre commercial Westfield, construit aussi pour les JO, très chic et avec des boutiques pour toutes les bourses! Pour finir, cette hôtel est un bon rapport qualité/prix contenu du confort et de la localisation près du centre, dans lequel nous serions prêts à retourner séjourner, mais toujours dans une chambre située au calme espérons!
