T. E.Lovely host, upgraded me to nicer room. Very clean, comfortable and affordable. Feels very quiet and sepeperate from the pub space downstairs which is nice for a drink with the locals. So many amazing resteraunts near by too. Good find!

I have read many reviews on this hotel and the negative ones seem to be based upon snobbishness rather than the value for money.
It's a comfortable place to rest your head after a long day.
Good stop for those visiting london on a budget.
Good shops all around it and manor house tube station is only 5 minutes away.
The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was that the pub seemed to be closed allot of the time. But that's a small qualm.

L.The hotel was pretty decent the prices for the stay is cheap I stayed 2 nights here with my bf it isn’t as bad as everyone says it is
the beds are comfty and the staff bar man was really nice and funny and welcomed us nicely and a decent pub to go down for a drink and there is even small juke box to put songs and the bar man was nice enough to put a song for us.
The location is great ! since everything is nearby for food and drink.
The staffs are very friendly and welcoming.
The only thing that needed improvement was the breakfast in the rooms and to change the milk to a normal milk and the shower was bit dirty
other then that it was decent.
Don’t listen to the other reviews because it isn’t as bad as everyone says it is,
I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

P. G.I booked this hotel before looking at the other reviews, which then made me worried after reading them. The room was pretty basic and did need re-decorating, but it was clean and just what we needed for 2 nights. The room had a mini fridge with bottles of apple juice and milk with cereals on the table, which was a nice touch. The pub downstairs is good for a drink. Pretty cheap, and the locals are also lovely and fun to have a game of pool withl! Everything you need is on the same road as the hotel with a station also close by. Overall a good cheap and cheerful experience.
V. V.Kulan made me feel very welcome and even went as far as changing my room as my disability makes climbing stairs very difficult and painful. He was polite, accommodating and helpful. The room warm , bed a bit creaky but I slept fine and shower was lovely and easy to operate. Overall not bad for a budget hotel. Would stay again. Thanks again Kulan :)

We got everything we need here. There's no breakfast offered but we got cornflakes, milik, juice and coffee in our room every day. I like this place and will book again
S. C.I went here for a drink with some friends who live nearby. It's a fairly standard pub, with a reasonable array of your usual lagers, a fair bit of seating, a couple of pool tables and TVs to catch the football. It was understaffed when we went, with only one poor guy manning the whole bar, but it was still decent for a beer and a relax.

The pub has recently been refurbished with replaced windows, new furnishings and a lick of paint. This has done a great deal to improve the feel of the room. The toilets have also been renovated which is a vast improvement.
On the service side of things I’ll reserve judgement till after a few more visits.

This is my local pub which I visit fairly frequently. In my opinion it has never been the best pub on the Harringay stretch of Green Lanes but I have always remained loyal as I like to feel that it is an important part of the community.
However, standards of service have declined recently and on more than one occasion this summer when I have visited there has been a toxic atmosphere.
Too often there is only one member of staff covering both the hotel and the bar side of the business. This means that if that member of staff is busy checking people in or doing something with guests' rooms you can wait up to 15 minutes at the bar without anyone being there to serve. This is both rotten service to the customer and a risky way to run a cash business.
Conversely I've seen confused hotel guests arrive and have to wait ten to fifteen minutes to be seen while the bar staff was serving pub customers. Welcome to London indeed.
The range of beers on offer has never been spectacular. Don't even think about the wine.
As to the fabric. One never visits the Beac for luxury but certain things should be dealt with. For example, the management might want to familiarise itself with the 'Broken Windows' theory of crime. They've had two broken windows in the main bar for at least a month now and nothing has been done about it. For the toilets see my comments on wine above.
Most of these faults are not the responsibility of the (usually inexperienced) bar staff. They are trying to do their job in the face of insurmountable odds. Lack of investment in the fabric of the bar area and the quality of the drinks on offer are not necessarily barriers to being a nice place to have a drink.
On the other hand letting your building go to seed and having a bar area that too often feels like the Marie Celeste is not just negligence it is an invitation to criminality.
I've been going to the Beac for over 20 years and I do not want the pub to close. But given the way that it is being run now I fear that even if it was to continue operating at a profit as a hotel and a bar higher powers might question whether it should continue to operate given the way it is run by its current management.
I've seen fairly robust criticism directed at the bar staff from other regulars. They should direct their energy towards the people who are really responsible for the decline of what could be an excellent business, i.e. the owners (whoever they may be).
D. P.Large enlisted island bar in centre of pub. Don't always get seen straight away, to many blind spots to be able to be seen straight away. 8 tv screens to watch sports. Good sports bar. Could do with a bit of a tidy up. Especially it's dark green ceiling.
J. H.First I have to say that I do not evaluate the Hilton, but a small local hotel that has provided us with everything what we needed (overnight, refreshments, services, etc.). Driving distance to the center was about 30 min (direct connection). On the last day you could leaved our luggage here and pick them up in the evening.

E.Hotels cheap especially for London! Right next to Finsbury park for Creamfields SteelYard event. Easy access to train station. Ensuite bathroom is lovely. Shower is very powerful and great! Rooms are basic but for the price you can't complain, beds are comfy aswell. Rooms are very warm when 21 degree heat is outside but thankfully the windows open very wide which lets in fresh air. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay again for the next Creamfields Steel Yard event
