Our stay of 3 nights at the Berjaya hotel was great. This is what we loved:
-the room was big, well decorated and very clean!
-the hotel location is spectacular close to 2 metro stations with 3 metro lines and lots of bus lines all around. Plus you have Hyde park right by you, lots of restaurants, shopping. We loved it.
-a beautiful view from 2 big windows and lots of light
-a good hitter to stay warm
-an excellent value for money
- the charm of an old building made the trip very authentic
-and last and probably the most important, the people working there are super nice and welcoming. They helped us through all the duration of our stay from the minute we arrived until we departed. It felt magical.

Stayed here for a week in a single room. Very close to tube stations and lots of supermarkets , restaurants, coffee shops nearby. However, this is a very old building, not quite friendly for travelers with luggages, coz you have to walk through lots of stairs up and down to get to the lift to your room😅

Staff helpful and friendly, very close to tube / Hyde park and shops/ supermarkets. Plenty of things to do in this area and I have stayed here several times already. Cheap night rate but very nice bedding /towels. Tea/ coffee facilities, complimentary wifi.

A quaint place with Malaysian resturant Dapur. Steps to access hotel and restaurant. Toilets are downstairs. No disabled access. Nearest station is Bayswater and Queensway.

5star for staff, really friendly to talk to and helpful. I checked into exec suite…. Unfortunately there all on the bottom/basement, lovely rooms but not for me, I had to downgrade to a normal double on the 5th floor. Lovely and spacious, bathroom was a bit small and the sink had drainage problems, but it was ok for me for one night, tv and tv channels were a bit rubbish. Hotel is very close to everything, travel, touristy places and food. Defo on top of my list to stay next time, and not overly pricey. Corridors are like a maze, signs can be confusing, I literally walked round in circles, back and forth, up and down for what seemed a long time everytime I left my room to go out

Staff was nice, room was clean and bathroom was nice. A few things were broken but nothing that troubled us

Very cheap and best ratio quality to price acomodation in the centre od London.
Also very good position close to metro station.

Pros: location, cleanliness, staff, WiFi
Cons: price, 3pm check-in is pretty late, paper thin walls, noise, room size, ants, overall outdated

Good location
Friendly staff
Small rooms and lift
Smelly old furniture
Acceptable in view of price

The front of Staff (both shifts) were super welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. If only other hotels had staff like these! Although the hotel's decor was a little tired I accept 100% that you cannot expect the extremely low room rates to reflect 5* luxury!. The room/bathroom/linen/towels were fresh and clean.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and choose to stay again.

Very friendly & excellent staff! Great room for the price especially in London!

Very good value for money especially its location near to parks, tube stations and city centre.

Lovely place for such a low price, great location, staff is very friendly.
Beware that there is no AC in the building which can be quite an issue with this crazy summer heat we are experiencing worldwide. I bet it's great in the winter though.
Also they were renovation during my visit, so who knows...maybe they are adding the AC as we speak. Do ask before booking.
All in all I had a lovely stay and do recommend the place for cheap stays.

The location is great. Staffs are friendly and the rooms are clean. The water heater and room heater works well. I will definitely like to stay again.

My first night was very cold because of damaged window and hair dryer that was not functioning, it should be taken care of and checked before a guest occupied the room. And heater not that warm enough. However, even the room is small (good for me as small person) it was clean and it maintained the cleanliness, quite and staff were friendly and helpful they fixed the broken window and hair dryer immediately, which I was happy. And I really like the location because it is close to both underground station and to tourist places. I will definitely book and stay again. But hope next time when I go back on cold season and stay there I will have a warmth room.

Great place, especially for the price.
Really kind staff.
You get what you pay for.
Amazing location.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The temperature and water pressure in the sink and shower was however not very good. It took several minutes before the water became lukewarm, and it was hard to rinse out the shampoo when showering.
I stayed for 3 nights and had therefore breakfast 3 times. Every time it took too long to refill items that needed refilling. One time I was told that the chef were in the loo, so it could be a while before more eggs were ready.
The location of the hotel were very good.

Beautiful outside and lobby. Located in a great part of the city with tons of restaurants and shops. The first night we stayed in a "triple room" with a full and twin bed. It was very small with a window looking out to a brick wall and no A.C. But for 75 pounds/, I can't complain. The next 2 nights we stayed in a bigger, much nicer room. It had more updated decor, air conditioning and a street view. I was very happy. Both rooms were clean and the other guests were quiet. Staff was pleasant. As a whole, it was a nice experience. I would definitely stay again strictly based on the low price and the location. Located right near 2 tube stations. It was very easy to travel all around London.
D. B.
Overall, I enjoyed the stay very much. The central location and closeness to the underground station was very convenient. Staff in the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. My room was upgraded for free to double which was fantastic as I needed the rest and a good bed very much :).
The only negative experience was a funny smell in the room. Not sure what it was but I managed to air the room through open window so not a big deal.

It is my second time to stay in this hotel as I had only pleasant experiences from three years back. Hence, I decided to book a lot of rooms for myself and my students during our trip to the UK.
There wasn't much of an improvement from before to now. It would be good if all rooms could be served by lifts so as there would be no need for a porter to bring things up and down the stairs. It would also be nice if there is a ramp to access the lobby of the hotel. Other than those, I think the Deluxe Double room is great. It was clean and had a nice ambiance to it. The breakfast included in the room was just some pieces of bread and cereal which is not that much of a good selection.
I was informed by one of my students who stayed in a triple room that their room was disgustingwall paints are chipping off, black mold on the toilet, no a/c in the room to mention a few. Hence they were barely able to sleep. Maybe the room needs some updating.
It was also a shock to learn that leaving things at the hotel after check out incurs 1.00 GBP charge per bagit is the first time we've heard of it. Despite the cheapness in price, I don't think it is proper to charge a guest that much.
The staff though, were all nice and friendly, except for one in the front desk. The vibe we got from her was unwelcoming and it's as if whenever she speaks to us that we are bothering her.
T. W.
The location of the hotel is great being near to the Bayswater Underground with a large selection of eateries and restaurant just across the street. A plus point for being a stone away from the Hyde Park. The bed and toilet, despite small, are sparkling clean.
There are a few negative points which I hope the management would consider in their evaluation. The hotel rooms and the amenities are largely old and worn out. The furnitures are as if they were from the 70s. The hairdryer provided has loose components in the plug and I think I did not see wrongly: a tiny spark from the wall plug when I switched it on. I was shocked and pulled it out quickly. I made a call to the maintenance staff just to receive an unfavourable respond upon the door "the loose plug is not a reason to change", followed by an unpleasant facial expression.
The breakfast itself is disappointing. We stayed for 3 days having to eat the same pathetic varieties of bread and jam every day. On the second day, the most basic food, the yogurt, has ran out and the staff told us that they "have no idea when the stock will arrive". I would be happier if there is at least some eggs/omelette as "supplement". But there wasn't. Even the coffee tasted bad. On one occasion, we even met with a nasty staff. He kind of raised his voice to instruct us to use our own plate placed on the table instead of searching for one at the counter. I find this kind of attitude unacceptable in the hotel service line. The staff should be trained on basic hospitality manners.
I am a big fan of hotel-hopping. However, this was not a great stay and I am generally disappointed. The hotel has huge potential for improvement. The one in KL where I stayed before was great. I hope the management would review and take appropriate action to ensure best experience for their future customers.

Overall as a hotel, I had a pleasant stay.
Location is perfect especially if you're a Malaysian as is near metro station, Asian restaurants and Malaysia canteen. Staff service is good.
However i feel your owners must upgrade the hotel. It feels really run down. The bathtub was dirty. It has rust.
WiFi quality is really bad. Seriously is very bad. No joke.
I think you need to stop charging for 1 pound for keeping the bag. It makes your hotel as low as a hostel or bus station. It really left a bad note for me as you probably know, no hotel charges for this service. I don't think this revenue is worth it as it will make guest unhappy and write negative words in Trip Advisor

This was the 3rd time we had stayed at the hotel in 6 years. We were disappointed that your superb continental breakfast was no longer offered. We also booked a Standard rather than a superior room this time. The room 110 was a bit shabby in decor but adequate. However the extremely small hand basin was totally inadequate ( I had to wash my face using the bath tap) and it was difficult to control the bath/shower temperature.
The location of your hotel is excellent, the reception area is welcoming and your staff are efficient and friendly.
Although we were not looking for an evening meal this time, I noted that you are no longer running the restaurant and bar.
B. M.
Location excellent. Disappointed that the restaurant advertised was shut down. We booked a premium room, but this was no bigger or better than a standard room in other hotels I have stayed in. The room (61) was tired..... walls needed a re-paint, it was a bit tatty in places. The corridors were also a little run down and in need of redecoration/re-carpeting etc. I am, however relatively happy with our stay as it was not overpriced, but if I had payed any more then I think I would have been very unhappy. The staff were friendly and helpful.
M. M.
Nice from the outside, a bit shabby on the inside.
Nice Staff and squeeky floors and a scary elevator😅
H. S.
Adequate. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfasts costing between £7.50 to £11.
Negatives: Rooms were a little bit on the scrappy/old side. Loud air conditioning. Tiny two person lift. Non-drinkable tap water in the bedrooms. No fridge.
G. G.
The elevator is very small and can only occupy two persons at one time. The shower area is too small too, hot water is too hot and not acceptable for skin eventhough Set at the lowest temperature. The housekeeping did a good job making up the room, room is clean neat and tidy, however it would be best if the coffee/milk in the room can be regularly checked each time after cleaning and refill as well. Thank you.

I stayed for one night when in London for a bit of sightseeing. Hotel rooms dated and wallpapers were a bit dirty from hundreds of people visiting. The only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise bedding, towels and bathroom are very clean. Room was very hot, but easy to turn the radiator off, and problem was solved :) Not even a spec of dust on the furniture. Staff very nice and helpful, especially one of the security gentlemans who was pleasantly chatty and even called a lift for me :) Hotel serves a basic continental breakfast, with fresh coffe and fruits. Generally nice stay, and the area is quiet at night.
J. D.
It was ok for the price and for one night but I think the hotel should consider installing an extractor in their bathrooms. There was a lot of mold in the room. The walls also need a repaint and the room was not very clean. But otherwise, the receptionist was very nice, the location was great and I would stay there again if I am just planing on visiting London for one day.
R. G.
Get rooms with elevator excess some rooms does not have direct excess ask front office. Door man excellent chap 😄. Shops and restaurants plenty at surrounding area. Bayswater tube station just a walking distance away.
H. Z.
We had a delightful stay there for a week. This was my second stay there, the first being 10 years ago. My room was a refurbished one and was good. The other room was not and a bit saddening. Its a wonderful location and with 2 tube stations nearby, plenty of shops, its a plus point. Heated towel racks in the bath were also a welcomed fixture. Friendly staff with sufficient knowledge, always trying to accomodate our requests. Overall very happy and keep up the good work.
A.
The location is great, with two tube stations one street over. The room I had (single room) was in need of minor repairs. Paint was flaking, for example. There were holes in the walls from what I suspect came from fixtures that got broken and were simply removed, without further maintenance.
The staff was nice and helpful!

Overall the hotel was really good and just what we needed. The location is really good as well as the breakfast. The lift got stuck for a little more than 1 day, but it wasn't quite an issue, just to walk up the stairs till the 3rd floor (maybe it was more uncomfortable to the guests on upper floors). The stayed in 2 different rooms and both were quite small, but still ok. The temperature within the room was a little bit of an issue. Even with the heat turned off and cold temperatures outside (end of March), the room seem to be quite warm. We wanted to sleep with the window opened, but then we would be listening to cars and people talking out loud outside. I really can't imagine how guests would handle temperatures during the summer, as the rooms don't have AC. The bathroom was ok, although the temperature knob on both rooms was so difficult to turn, almost stuck. The staff was really friendly and overall it was a good experience.

A very friendly hotel with excellent service and good food. The weather was very hot and the interior of the unmodernised hotel was VERY warm and muggy. Very noisy neighbours. But the price of the hotel was reasonable and reflected the facilities. Unsophisticated but very pleasant nonetheless. Lacks a communal lounge. The tired decoration in the stair areas did not put me off.
M. H.
I booked two rooms for this trip. The rooms we got were smaller than expected, especially with small children and lots of luggage. It would have been better if we could get bigger rooms. However, when I asked the reception to change at least one of the rooms, the lady was kind enough to give a twin room which was slightly bigger than we had before. The porter was very helpful too. The extra pair of hands made our lives easier with carrying the bags to our rooms faster (considering that there is only one small lift). Overall, it was a very good stay, as always!

Great beds but when you don't can't flush toilet and don't get the shampoo and conditioner out of your hair. the breakfast was sad it was bread and jam and Nutella that's, but the orange juice was good. The hotel is a labyrinth but they who work there was a very nice. Not far to any food stores.
A. E.
the room was average, with a good bathroom and a clean and spacious bed but a lousy view and smelly carpets.
The floor carpets definitely need a refreshment as there was a specific smell of closed air in the hotel.
Hallways are small but explainable i the lack of space that London has.
The smell of closed air made the experience less than expected and the basement room i was located.
The windows view was over a used mattress and a builder's stair propped against the wall.
Breakfast should be included since the basement rooms are having an awful view.
T. M.
Easy to findGood location, nearby bus stops and metro stations. Lots of food nearby Hotel was a maze and had ***y stairs to ***euver... difficult with big luggage. Room was small as I expected but the shower. Even smaller than I though my possible, had I not just recently lost 22kg I don’t know if I would have fit. Haha
F. A. A.
The reason for giving a '4' was because the room was very alright to me but it was very COLD. The heater was 'cold' even though it was set to very hot at '5' (the technician did come and see the heater but it was still the same-cold). The weather in London at the time was cold (1/2-3/2 2019) and the quilt/bedspread on the bed was not enough to keep me warm. I used my coat as additional blanket but still not enough because the room was cold. In other hotel that I've been, I can use the heater to warm up the room, but not in this hotel. As a result, I can hardly sleep because of the coldness. In terms of location, it is excellent. Less than a minute walk to Bayswater Station, shops and restaurants. Very convenient to get some groceries and food from restaurants. In future, I might stay again in this hotel when I come to London because of its closeness to the train station and shops, but I will bring my own heater if I come in winter.

My family and I were more than satisfied with the Berjaya Eden Park Hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic; efficient, friendly, helpful. The location was brilliant and the rooms were cheap and cheerful, but spotless and more than adequate for our needs. The only thing I would have liked would have been a bar on site, which I thought there was when booking. Other than that small detail, I was very happy with our stay and would recommend the hotel to others.
G. S.
A hotel in an excellent location. The room was fine - for a single guest. The hotel is a bit of a maze, it is easy to get lost in its corridors. The wi-fi can be a bit a slow. The shower is either very hot or extremely hot - I was not able to find a way to reduce its temperature to a more bearable level. I may have left something behind in the room, but the hotel did not respond to my e-mail concerning this.
E. F. V.
While the location was perfect and affordable for the location. It becomes quickly apparent why it is so affordable. First of all, my room was underground, which is fine unless you don't enjoy being below street level. This being said, most people could see into your room just by looking down. I should also note, that I spent extra money on an upgraded room... and I was still underground. Secondly, there was a lot of noise between the doors, and floors. Every step the person in the room above me made, I could hear. So there was not a lot of quality sleep. Third, the fire alarm went off one morning at 6:45 AM. This was clearly not an emergency, but more of an accident as it was turned off within seconds. None the less it was enough to wake me up, and keep me up. Fourth, being underground, and where my room was located, there was a really intense smell... and it came from the hallways. Lastly the shower... It was only scalding hot, and no other temperature. I could barley get my skin under the water without burning.
So the location was great and perfect for what I needed... but the rest needed a bit more attention.
T. R.
The staff are lovely however the hotel needs a attention, decorating, deep cleaning updating the run down lift. Also changing the soft lumpy matresses. In the room i stayed in the toilet was far to small and the shower head just needed the screw tightened in the riser rail so the head stayed up.
S. H.
The rooms are a bit small by American standards and the beds aren't as comfortable as I would have liked. But the staff works hard to provide good customer service, the hotel is in an excellent and quiet location, and you get good value for your money. Nice place to stay in London as long as you factor in that you're in London.
S. W. W.
The hotel is located close to shops and restaurants, tube stations. Unfortunately the lift was out of order during our two night stay. My sister-in-law had mobility problem and was give a 5th floor room, had to climb flights of steps. Fortunately on the last day, she was able to relocate to a basement room for easier access. I stayed at a 4th floor room and still find it difficult going up and down the many flight of steps of the stairs, even though I do not have walking problem. Did not get to have breakfast due to our early morning day tour schedule and flight to the next country. Hotel should have option to provide prepack breakfast for customers.
W. M.
Very impressive. A kind Gentleman (staff)
carried my suitcase up the steps from the taxi. Room decent although very very stuffy.
Paid for breakfast, a continental..
Friendly staff throughout and very clean.
10/10 Thank you
P. R.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again as I usual stay in the Bayswater area of London. I found the room quite spacious for a London hotel as well as clean and in good condition. If there was one area I would give a negative mark that would be that the lifts were not working for the week I was staying. Personally it didn't bother me as I was happy to walk the four flights of stairs, but for someone who was old or had trouble with their mobility then this would have caused problems.
S. K.
Fabulous location and the staff were great and the full breakfast was delicious and the hotel was clean. My only criticism is the sign in the bathroom that says the water is not suitable for drinking and they don't supply bottles of water either, however you can get water at Sainsbury's only 30m away.
C. C.
The hotel is a good property for stay in centre of London with connectivity to most places. . Cleanliness and comfort levels of the rooms are good. Staff are extremely professional and warm. Looking forward to staying again

Staff were helpful for assistance with my husband who’s in a wheel chair I did not think our room was a delux double we were moved to make it easier for access for my husband. We were given a price of £82 on booking. Com at the hotel we had to pay £89 and this was without the breakfast. Cleaning staff were very noisy and woke us up at half past 6, we did not need to check out until 12. Stairwells and lift were very small and not easy to Manoeuvre, we will not be returning due to accessibility of the hotel
S. M.
Let's put it this way, I will book and stay at this hotel again. Besides of my skin feeling slightly itchy from the bedding. Overall is acceptable. You pay for what you get. Convenient to tube station, many restaurants nearby so you will never go hungry except broke 😂 Staff are friendly. To be able to leave the luggages at the hotel until checkin time 👍👍👍

Good hotel for budget travellers.
Furniture are out dated but the rooms are clean.
Friendly staffs especially the potters.
Good location near to Bayswater and Queensway Underground.
Easy to get cheap food especially for Muslims and Asians travellers.
The hotel have a Malaysian Restaurant as well called DAPUR.

Dear Kathleen,
Originally I was put in a room well below the standard (room 301) I would expect for the money paid. To give you a flavor of how bad it was, the wall paper was coming away from the wall, areas of the walls had been filled with polyfiller, there were holes in the net curtains and the room was generally dirty and very tired. I complained to the receptionist, but he was reluctant to change the room as he only had deluxe rooms available and unless I paid the difference was unable to offer me a change in room. He eventually gave in to my persistence and gave me a Deluxe room (room 28) for one night, which I'm pleased to say got extended for the full 4 nights of my stay.
I have stayed at the Berjaya hotel many times before with no issues so was rather disappointed with the receptionists response to my complaint.
Putting the above experience to one side, I find the hotel good value with a reasonable standard of rooms, the staff are generally helpful and friendly.
I work in London during the week so having a comfortable room to return to in a good location at the right price is very important to me.
Kind Regards, Del Jeffrey

Localization is really good. Receptionists were very nice and helpful as well as the man who carried our luggage. Weak points are definitely a very small elevator and that the hotel is pretty old, with tiny hallways.

We booked a double deluxe room. A bit smaller than shown in the pictures but definitely ok considering cost of hotel/location. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. Tv is good for the evenings when you are settling down after exploring London. Haven't tried out the bar yet but it seems ok if you'd like to take a drink in the evening. The floors are a bit creaky and you can hear people walking across the narrow hallways. A lot of sound coming in from the outside. Luckily me and my girlfriend are heavy sleepers. Consider all of these things before booking. We're satisfied :)
א. א. ע.
The price is very low, the location is good, there are hot water, and clean sheets and towels, all the rest is cost effective , the level matches the price. If you are looking 4 a cheap hotel in good location, if you dont plan to stay at the room accept at night, then it's ok. If you have higher standarts and you are willing to pay more then this is not the place for u.
Y. K.
Rooms look very dated but it was rather comfortable. Would have loved a small fridge in the deluxe double room though. Also the nasi lemak breakfast wasn't very authentic - not that I had high expectations... oh and the wifi doesn't work very well in the morning. The best part about this hotel is its amazing location - just a stone's throw to 2 stations (bayswater and queensway) and Hyde park.

The location was really good we were able to have a triple room which was serviced everyday staff were friendly and helpful value for money to stay in London I thought was well worth it.

Pros :
Good location
Friendly Staff
Cons:
Shower is super small.
No air-conditioning
Not value for money

the hotel is nice in a good location, food is nice. It would be nice time from time to change meniu.
The only thing - may be problem_ventilation. It is very hot in the rooms and in hotel as well.

Beautiful and quiet hotel! Very, good place for that price! The staff was lovely and very polite!

-The location of the hotel is strategic
-Many Halal foods around the hotel
-Near Bayswater and Queensway underground
-Quite busy surrounding
-Hotel toilet is clean
-Room service is excellent
M. E. O.
For a family of 3, the family room should be enough. Quite 'old' but compensated with the strategic location. Breakfast is always the same (staying there for 5 nights)... A bit of changes would welcome a smile I think... Housekeeping done their job with an 'A' rating.
R. v.
Quite hotel, not so luxurious
Good breakfast.
Cooperative staff
No AC or fans
Old type, need renovation for furniture.
You can leave your luggage at 8 gbp charge.
S. N.
The staffs was very helpful, friendly and welcoming! Had the elevator breakdown during our stay but we felt relieved when the staffs help us to carry all the heavy luggages during check in and check out 5th floor ups and downs. Perfect location! 1-3mins walk to Bayswater and Queensway tube station. A lot of halal restaurant around, even the hotel cafe serves halal meals from breakfast to dinner.

A very good place to stay with excellent value.
The rooms are quite comfortable, though it is quite cramped. The heating works nice during winter. Each room have a TV with wide selection of channels. The bathroom is quite cramped, but quite complete with showers. Hot water flow is perfect, no problem during my entire stay. Wifi works perfectly in the room during the entirety of my stay.
The location is amazing, one of the best in London. The location is really valuable in London. First of all, it is located near two stations that services different lines, so you can have access to two lines from the hotel easily. Bayswater station serving Circle/District line gives easy access to Westminster or Blackfriars tourist area, and Central line gives rapid access to shopping area of Oxford Circus easily.
It is also located close to Hyde Park, a wonderful park that is excellent for walk or for relaxing. The hotel is also located very close to fast foods (Subway and Burger King), convenience stores (Sainsbury Local and Waitrose), Chinese restaurants, and other restaurants.
The service of the hotel is excellent. The daily cleaning is thorough and great.
The value of the place is excellent. If you wanted a good place to explore London, this is a perfect place. Do not expect posh rooms on the value of the place, but the location is far better than most hotels in London.
D. L.
Great location, clean and friendly hotel. Room size was acceptable for the area and price. I had no bfast there and only stayed for a night.

I think there's a big issue to work out: The mold stink in the rooms. Overall, the rooms, were ok with the furniture, and the cleaning. Simple furniture, but efficient. But, in room 28 and even more, 31, the stink was really deep.
We highlighted that to the reception, but the problem was not sorted out.
n. s.
Small but very clean. They installed a room safe for us which was very nice of them. Location was perfect for out trip. I would stay here again.

Overall service is good.
Negative:
Mattress sinks in the middle. Didnt have a good sleep.
Too much noise outside our room.
Insufficient lights at writing table.
J. W.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and cozy room. Better than we expected. Good location with supermart, Restaurant, train station n spa. Malaysian Hall is one street away.
W. S.
I personally think that the cleaning services/ cleanliness can be improve further e.g. check and ensure utilities sort of shampoos, toilets paper are in place. Nonetheless the counter staff is very friendly. Thumbs up.

Nice place, room to a good quality. Only downside was no air con. Plus towel rail on all the time which waste money and also makes rooms with no air con even worse.
Would stay again.
M. C.
If you need somewhere to sleep for a couple of night's while you do tourist things throughout the day then this place does the job. Really close to Queensway Station and lots of places to grab breakfast. Only downside is you have to pay £1 per piece of luggage you want them to store after you Che k out.
T. W.
Good location, helpfully staff, comfy bed. Shame the bedroom are a little small and the wallpaper was hanging off the wall. Room needed redecorating and a deep clean.
A. a.
I love this hotel.. the manager and others staff very friendly n very helpful.. im enjoy staying at this hotel.. but the lift quite small.. but overall was good stay at here.. tqvm to the manager.. she upgrade our room and allowed us to early check in
M. O.
This is the 2nd time that we are here at berjaya eden. The main reason for the stay is definately because of the prime location, near to Bayswater and Queensway train. The staffs are friendly and approachable. The room that was allocated to us was OK but the bed mattress was terrible and in serious need for a change. The mattress is already sunken in the middle part, causing much uncomfortable sleep for us. We look forward to coming there again.
M. O.
The room was very clean and met the requirements perfectly. However I have not scored it as 5 as the breakfast was not of a great standard, the food and drink offering is below standard.
A. (.
Stayed here for a night last week. Excellent location less than 10 mins walk to either bayswater or queensway tube station. Further up you can take buses from bayswater road or walk to Hyde park. The rooms are also reasonably sized. But getting luggage upstairs is a hassle as lifts can only take 1 person+2 luggage.
Z. J.
Excellent location - located near hyde park and the queensway and bayswater tube stations in zone one of london underground. There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets within a few mins' walk.
It's an old hotel with outdated furnishings and creaky floorboards along the narrow corridors. Wifi signal is also patchy.
Breakfast is average so don't bother paying more to top up for breakfast.
T. S.
Bathroom quite small and fairly dated room decor, but othwerwise a clean, comfortable room in an excellent location very close to public transport and super friendly staff,
Would stay there again.
C. D.
Clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. Very kind people at the reception.Excellent price-quality ratio. Very close to underground and bus services. We hope to be your guests very soon!
A. G.
Excellent location. Good facilities. Excellent staff response and behavior. It would have been great if rooms were a bit larger.
N. C.
It is always a pleasure for me to stay with Berjaya Eden Park Hotel in London, I personally feel at
home here.
The staffs at the front desk are friendly and very nice people they are professional and they know
how to attend to their guests.
I look forward to stay with Berjaya Eden Park Hotel again in the not to distant future.
W. L.
I love the location tremendously even though is just a 3 stars hotel and the rooms are small. But with Excellent hospitality it is my favourite hotel in Bayswater London.
H. N.
The corridor is a bit too narrow. Understandable as it's an old building but it's quite troublesome when you have 2 big luggage to carry. Staff were very helpful though.
A. Y.
Very nice hotel conveniently located at Bayswater near 2 lines - Queensway (Central) and Bayswater (Circle and Distruct) Underground stations. It is also located near very popular Chinese restaurants like Mandarin Kitchen, Royal China, 4 Seasons and Goldmine. The rooms are clean and the bathroom, though small, has a good shower.
P. V.
Hotel is located at a stone throw away from Bayswater station. Rooms are small but clean and nice. No much variety in the breakfast but the food provided was good.
J. S.
the hotel is nice in a good location, food is nice. It would be nice time from time to change meniu.
The only thing - may be problem_ventilation. It is very hot in the rooms and in hotel as well.
G.
Very nice hall, but the corridors and rooms upstairs are old and not so well taken care of. The staff is very nice and kind and it's a good cheap alternative for short stays
A. V. C.
The rooms need some work done but if you're fine with paint peeling off the walls then it is a great place to stay in central London for the price.
K. B.
There was only hot water in the shower, so we got scolded everytime we took a bath.
Could have used a little fridge, to keep water cold. (Was about 33° outside and no aircon in the room)
m. R. H. O.
Almost got robbed by con tourist police in neighborhood. Nobody from hotel alerted us about this.
Rooms are too small, plumbing system with low water pressure, slow draining sanitary pipe.
S. Z.
Basic amenities, clean and well maintained generally. Shower needs to be fixed as hot water temperature cannot be controlled and almost unbearably hot. Shower was also slightly clogged.
A. Q.
No breakfast available and no in house restaurant, our bathroom has frosted glass door, if possible cover the frosted glass door and window, overall the stay was wonderful ;-)
T. S.
It's one of the best location, from Gatwick, just take circle line - yellow to east until baywaters station, alight there, cross the nearest intersections and turn right. Your hotel is the second stairs.
k. d.
Everything was perfect. Friendly staff. Nice clean room and bathroom.. only downside was the tv in our room didnt work. But i deffo will be staying here again :)
J. Y. M.
I was in for one night. It was decent enough for a place to rest your head. Everything in this hotel was narrow and surprisingly the room was warm which for me was a problem.
S. L.
Good location, friendly staff. Some refurbishment was being done inside the hotel corridors where our room was which was somewhat irritating but overall a decent service provided.
z. a.
Hotel conditions is good but the maintenance is poor such as the water frm shower is very hot, heater also very hot until the whole room bcomes very warm n makes us sweat not comfortable to sleep even at night..Anyway the staff is inniciative during complains made n takes action fas, which is good.
D. S.
Bit hard to stretch the room as a deluxe. Pretty cramped, faulty aircon, just felt all a bit cheap. May as well do a travel lodge in the future. Breakfast was horrendous.
S. L.
Had a perfect stay here. Close to all amenities and tube station. The closest tube station is Bayswater. U can buy souvenir like keychain/fridge magnet here at Bayswater as I found out much later (after my purchased at Camden Street), d bargain here is much better. You may buy a keychain/FM for £5 for 7 pcs or £10 for 15, with d very same quality as at Camden. Halal food is almost everywhere n Malaysian Hall Canteen is nearby too.
E. F.
Good price vs accommodations. Excelente location between Queensway and Bayswater (Underground stations).
Wifi ok
Noise ok
Hospitality ok
Beds ok
Still pending a refrigerator in the rooms!
s. f.
The location is obviously the main attraction with walking distance to bayswater and queensway underground station. Hotel was basic which was exactly what i need on my last day in london. Perhaps can add more tv channels.
a. G.
The restaurant opens at 7.00 am for breakfast. It has a Malaysian style break fast menu.Or a halal continental breakfast.
Lunch starts at 11.30am ..open til 11.00pm.
It serves a spread of Malaysian food such as nasi lemak, roti chanai with dhal, lontong Kering Hutan Bandar,Soto ayam Tanjung Puteri.
The breakfast selections of soto, lontong Kering and lontong with kuah lodeh are famously well known among locals in the Southern state of Johor.
Lontong Muo ( town of Muar) with chicken satay are common local household and coffee shop breakfast in the state of Johor and namely the district of Muar.
It is common among locals to have breakfast of lontong, satay or something of similar type. This include mi Bandung or Asam pedas..
Muar or Muo is an old historical town established pre British East India Company...or pre Portuguese occupation of Malacca during its heyday of spice trades in 1511.
Food wise it's reasonably ok.. The restaurant is annexed at ground floor Berjaya Eden Park hotel.
Opened recently on 2nd March 2019.
This is another Dapur restaurant a sister to Dapur cafe in Holborn .
Accessible from Bayswater st and Queensway at.
Must try...
T. P.
The location was really good we were able to have a triple room which was serviced everyday staff were friendly and helpful value for money to stay in London I thought was well worth it.
C. M.
Okay room clean but very small. Smallest lift in the world. Great staff on reception when we arrived.
D. H.
Overall experience was good. Improvements to be made include the strength of the internet connection and fixing the shower taps so that it can be turned to the cold setting more easily.
D. S.
Staff very nice, 100m from Kensington Gardens and local shops & restaurants. Bed comfortable and all the facilities you need for 1 night.
m. f. k.
-The location of the hotel is strategic
-Many Halal foods around the hotel
-Near Bayswater and Queensway underground …
S. H. R.
Very good location. Shopping area and lot of eateries are close by. Kensington park is also at walking distance. Pickup point of hop on hop off is also at walking distance. Rooms are fine.
N. L.
Great location, clean, friendly staff. Thought there should have been in a fridge in my deluxe double room but wasn't a huge deal. Thanks!
w. n. w. s.
@_VincentTan Hi Sir..I stayed in your Berjaya Eden last week..You have a wonderful team there..My special mention goes to Wizy, your tall dark hero over there..Always polite and assist us when ever needed..He makes our stay even more pleasant at Berjaya Eden..Please convey our thanks again to him..Wan Norkhairi Wn Samad
L. D.
It was pleasure to stay in hotel Berjaya during our short (too short :(...) stay in London. We were satisfied with great location, reasonably price / comfort and friendly staff.
J. W.
Lovely Staff. Great location. Lift was out of order and I had a room on the 4th. The breakfast was not my cup of tea.
S. D.
The room was good - but the noise outside meant I could not sleep! Double glazing needed! :Staff very friendly and helpful - 10/10
C. S. W.
Near Tune station, just 200 meters away. Got a lot good taste Chinese Restaurant. For Muslim Friends, halal restaurant also easy found. Tesco just behind the hotel.
W. N.
Good Hotel due to it's location, very close to tube, restaurants and shop. Help full and friendly Staff. Only drawback was squeeky beds.
M. L.
Decent budget hotel, ok for short stays but would not recommend for more than 2 nights. Excellent location and helpful staff.
E.
Pros :
Good location …
a. a.
Clean, safe & strategic location. Need to improve in term of the staff knowledge & attitude. Restaurant staff were superb.
K. K.
Location is super, but breakfast included, contained only cereals (sweet kind) and moldy bread.
G. P.
Very small room (52) OKish for 1 night, but would not stay longer again. Cells are bigger than the room. Friendly staff was a plus.
T. M.
Having stayed here before I was a little dissapointed with the size of my room. Otherwise a decent location, and decent hotel for the price.
T. L.
Nice location, good breakfast. Very little space in rooms, cleanliness could be improved.
P. L.
Relatively cheap for central London. Staff friendly. However the bedroom was poor. Would want to spend more than one night there
d. w.
clean room, very good service, small room, breakfast only average otherwise satisfied and if rates are low would stay again
S. N.
The hotel was in a good position. Very convenient for tube and Kensington Park. Staff friendly and helpful but hotel in desperate need of some refurbishment and decoration.
C. L.
Room had a lovely view, simple check-in/out, super comfy bed, would definitely return!
j. d.
Was not that impressed with this hotel as no bar open most unusual, also they had problems with their drains, but convenient for the tube
V. D.
Really sweet. Friendly hotel staff, consistently good room service. The minus is really slow and poor wi-fi in room.
T. M.
Not The best but it is a ok hotel. Its need an update but I can recommend it anyway. It is very good located in Bayswater, near the underground
A.
The room was clean and replicated the images shown online. Although there was a lot of noise from the street and the air conditioning did not work
A. A. A.
as a large sized man.. the size of the bathroom is a big minus factor.. it is hard for me to get into the bathtub to shower as the toilet bowl is in the way.. and if i were to use the toilet it is hard for me to sit as the wall of the bathtub is against my leg.. and i have to sit at an angle..
the nasi lemak for breakfast could be served with ikan bilis (i had to request for ikan bilis) and maybe add chicken/beef kari or rendang.. and maybe sambal sotong to make it more authentic malaysian nasi lemak with lauk..
everything else in the hotel is good..
S. H. P.
A convenient hotel for Malaysians or Asians as there are many Asian restaurants surrounding this hotel which is owned by a Malaysian Public Listed Company.
n. a.
The Service is good, but they nit serving Breakfast, but it is okay because there is restaurant nearby n its serve Halal Food to
Y. C.
Clean and cosy room. The only downside is sometimes it is difficult to locate the room cause the layout of the hotel is maze like.
A. M. C.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Convenient location. Lots of food, small Tesco, pharmacy and Tube station very nearby.
R. S.
Basic tourist hotel but room clean and comfortable and staff keen to please. Great location on the edge of Hyde Park.
F. P.
Very nice stay. Really helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable deluxe double room
T. P. A. T. A. (.

A. C. M.
The rooms is nice but the pathwat too small. And the lift is way way too smal to fit 2 person
A.
Quiet location. Many halal eateries and supermarkets. Small rooms and a challenge to navigate the cramped hallways.
M. W.
Great location. Clean, basic rooms. Shame the bathroom flooded everytime I had a shower.
T. M.
Professional staff and close to Kensington gardens and the tube. However the rooms and public areas have see better days.
E. K.

It was about expected in London. What I really blame the hotel management is the poor Wi-Fi. The location is convenient.

(Translated) The hotel is located close to Queensway Station (Central) and Bayswater (District), and although the facilities themselves are not great (as in all British hotels, there are many old facilities), the room is always warm and there is hot water, and all-in-one shampoo + body gel and soap are provided. do. The best thing is that the staff is very friendly, so when Asiana canceled the flight, they returned the overnight stay. I used it for a week and it shows a great value for money (double bed about 3 to 4 thousand won), so if I visit London again, I'm thinking of using it.

(Translated) Very clean but a bit worn. Still recommended. bed is comfortable. Please do not drink the water from the tap (boil it) it is not the standard as in Germany. Very friendly staff. service good.

Sehr sauber, aber schon etwas abgenutzt. Trotzdem zu empfehlen. Bett ist bequem. Bitte nicht das Wasser trinken aus der Leitung (abkochen) es ist nicht der Standard wie in Germany. Sehr freundliches Personal. Service gut.

(Translated) The staff are friendly. 1 minute from the station. There are many hotels with only stairs in central London, but there is an elevator here, so there is no problem with the effort of carrying large luggage to the room. There is no space to open the suitcase in the room, so I took out everything I used and put it on the shelf. All you have to do is walk around the city and sleep. The sound leaks quite a bit. The shower is also small. For those who don't mind saying that and want to keep their accommodation costs as low as possible.
